A ray of sunlight hit my face. I guess it's time to get up. I weakly lifted myself up from the moss. I looked around the apprentices' den. Dapplepaw and 3 other apprentices I didn't know the name of, were still fast asleep. The sun was beaming into the den, but since I was at the front, only I had awoken because of it. I looked at my paws. My body was white with black spots all around. Suddenly, my left paw started glowing. I lifted it up and it lit up the whole room in a yellow light. I immediately slammed it down into the floor trying to make it stop. The other apprentices were being awoken by the light. What should I do? I quickly ran outside, so I wouldn't wake the others. When I was outside, the clearing was filled with cats. I looked at the entrance and I knew I needed to get out before anyone saw my paw. Suddenly a gray fat cat walked over to me. "So, how is your life in the clan so far?" He said. I thought for a moment and looked at his patient eyes. "I mean… good so far, I guess, but who are you again?" I said awkwardly. "Well I'm Graystripe," he said. My paw was glowing brighter by the second. I looked towards the entrance. "Thanks, I'm kinda busy right now, later." I quickly ran towards and out of the entrance, leaving Graystripe alone in the clearing. I ran until I thought I was far enough away from camp. I plopped down onto the soft grass, breathing heavily. With every breath I took, I started to calm down more and the light from my paw started to fade. I'm ok. I just need to breathe. I said. Eventually, my breathing was back to normal and the glow was gone. The grass started to feel very comforting. I knew I needed to get back to camp… but the grass felt so good. "Willowpaw!" A voice yelled, snapping me from my daze. I quickly leapt to my feet and scrambled past the bushes getting cut a little. I stepped into view, limping a little from the cut I just received. "I'm right over here, Bramblestar!" I yelled. After a while with no answer, I continued limping and I passed many trees. "I'M right here!" I turned around and saw Bramblestar in a tiny clearing. I padded over to him and he was confidently standing up with his tail swaying back and forth. "Well, today we should probably give you a good tour of the territory so you… don't get lost again." Before I could explain what happened, he continued. "First, we should probably go to the Ancient Oak," he said firmly. He started walking and beckoned me to follow him. His stride was a lot bigger than mine so I hung back to think for a while. Ok, from what I know, I'm trapped in an alternate dimension with no way home. When I made that wish, I didn't really think that this would happen. "Are you coming?" Bramblestar asked. I sped up and said "Yeah, sorry." We eventually got to a very big tree. It had lots of scratch marks and it was very thick. Bramblestar sat down before saying "This tree is what apprentices like you, use to practice their climbing skills." "Will we be using it today?" I asked eagerly. He chuckled before mewing "We can save that for another day." He got back to his paws before he kept going and I trailed behind him. A leaf fell from the tree and onto my nose. I kept walking but I shook my head to get it off. I guess its fall…well in the warrior cats world its leaf fall. "Bramble star, is it leaf fall?" I asked. He stopped in his tracks and turned to look at me confused. He tilted his head before he meowed "I never told you about the seasons". Panic gripped my heart. I need an excuse to get out of this I thought to myself. "Oh… I just overheard some warriors talking about it" I mewed quickly. Bramblestar shrugged before turning his head back around and kept going. I let out a sigh of relief. That was close I thought to myself. The longer we walked the more the trees seemed to squeeze in on each other. We reached a den but it looked so abandoned. Vines and plants were growing around it along with a road that also seemed abandoned. Bramblestar sat up tall and started explaining where we were. "This is the abandoned twoleg nest where medicine cats from thunderclan get their catmint. Catmint helps with green cough. It's a very deadly disease". I scanned the area and saw a weird looking plant. That must be the catmint. Bramblestar opened his mouth to sniff the air and I did the same and I could smell something fresh and good. He looked over and said "smell that catmint it tastes and smell good but always remember to never eat it unless you have greencough". After I didn't say anything for a while I was distracted by the smell. I turned my head and saw him staring at me and I realized and nodded my head. He sighed before turning around and padding through some nearby bushe's. I slowly padded after him and took one last glance before following him through the undergrowth.

We finally got back to camp after he showed me around the territory and explained about all of them. I dragged my paws as I walked over to Dapplepaw who was eating a shrew in the middle of the clearing. He looked up at me and his face lit up "So how was your first day as an apprentice?" he asked. I sat down neatly with my paws tucked underneath me "Boring, the only thing that was slightly interesting was the borders!" Yelled louder than I wanted to. A few cats stopped sharing tongs to look at me and my pelt burned with embarrassment. Eventually they stopped and I looked at dapplepaw just to examine him and he looked more dark orange to me than someone who should be named dapplepaw. He pushed the shrew closer to me "You want some?" he asked. I was going to decline but my stomach rumbled. He chuckled before saying "I'm going to take that as a yes". I bite the shrew still kinda new to this eating raw meat and stuff but it tasted amazing. I quickly started to eat spraying shrew particles everywhere. "Hey um willowpaw" I looked up from my shrew and tilted my head. "Were you a rogue or a kittypet or something I mean just by looking at you you're definitely not a kittypet. But you also don't seem to be an ungroomed and unfed rogue". I stopped eating "Um well ... .thanks for the shrew bye!" I yelled before scrambling off to the apprentices den t was getting pretty late and I needed an excuse to get away. I layed down on my nest trying to forget about what dapplepaw said to me. Then my eyelids felt heavy and I slowly drifted off to sleep. When I woke up I was in a shadowy void then I heard a noise behind me. I slowly turned around and peered through the darkness and saw….me? They looked exactly like me white cat with black spots except they had a black outline and the fur that was supposed to be white was black and the fur that was supposed to be black was white. Their eyes were shadowed over and their mouth showing no sign of moving; they didn't even look like they were breathing. I slowly stepped closer to them my pawsteps were so loud but I kept walking until I was only a few feet away from..it. It lifted p its head before saying "Hey Willowpaw or should I call you Ava wait…no that's not your real name either is… it's avery".I gasped how did thing thing know my name. Then it continued "You are also probably wondering who this is and why does she look like me. Well to answer your question im like all of your hatred disappear and everything you push to the back of your mind. But no need to worry" it said with a flick of its tail. "I'm here to tell you something very important," It said. My ears perked up. "There is a cat in the riverclan whose name is Ripplepaw. I can't tell you everything but what I can tell you is that he is special just like you" It finished. I paused for a second. This was a lot to take in. I looked up and saw her fading. "Wait, dont leave yet!" I pleaded. It gave me a reassuring smile but right before it withered away..I thought I saw a large grin across its face. Then it was gone and light started to flood into the void blinding me before I woke up.
