Chapter 21
Naruto let out a sigh once he saw who was sitting next to him. 'Great, now I have to deal with Hinata. She needs to get over her crush on me.' He thought to himself as Kurama just snorted for once not adding his two cents.
"Hell….Hello Naruto-kun." Hinata stuttered out as she blushes looking at him.
"Hey Hinata." Naruto returned her greeting as he looked down towards Ibiki who was grinning at him. 'Bastard.' He thought to himself. Glancing over his shoulder her made a face once her saw Shikamaru is stuck by Sakura. 'Poor bastard.' He thought with a sigh as he spotted Usagi and Ino sitting together as they grin waving at him. Without a second thought he gave them the one finger salute. Only grinning when they stick their tongues out at him.
"ALRIGHT! IT'S TIME TO START THE EXAM!" Ibiki declared to the Chunin hopefuls.
Naruto flipped the paper, looked at the questions, and snorted. 'Really Ibiki? These questions are almost Jonin level questions. Only a few will be able to answer these damn questions.' He thought with a chuckle as he began writing his answers on the sheet. After a while he flips the paper and begins to draw on the back of the paper as he had a feeling he wouldn't need the back of it to answer the final question.
"Naruto, you can looks off my sheet if you need too." Hinata whispers to him.
But her whisper goes unanswered as Naruto ignores her doing his own thing. She just watches him as he just draws on the sheet. Her jaw hanging open at him ignoring her.
Genin teams dropped like flies when the final question finally came up.
"ALRIGHT! IT'S TIME FOR THE 10TH AND FINAL QUESTION!" Ibiki growled out as his cold onyx eyes glanced out across the room. Landing on a few weak will people, making them get up and ran out of the room.
"BEFORE I GIVE YOU THE FINAL QUESTION. YOU NEED TO KNOW. IF YOU GET IT WRONG. YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO TAKE THE CHUNIN EXAM EVER AGAIN!" Ibiki told them.
This enrages several people in the room. A Suna girl to stand up and slam her hand on her desk. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! IF WE GET THIS QUESTION WRONG WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE CHUNIN EXAMS AGAIN?" She demands.
"LIKE I SAID. MY EXAM THIS WILL BE YOUR FIRST AND FINAL TIME TAKING THE CHUNIN EXAM! IF YOU DO NOT FEEL LIKE YOU ARE READY FOR THIS FINAL QUESTION QUIT NOW AND TRY AGAIN IN SIX MONTHS!" Ibiki said with a chuckle.
"BUT THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE WHO HAVE TAKEN THIS EXAM SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE!" Kiba yells.
"THAT MAYBE. BUT MY RULES. THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY TIME. TAKE IT NOW AND LOSE YOUR RIGHT TO EVER TAKE IT AGAIN OR LEAVE NOW AND TAKE IT AGAIN IN SIX MONTHS!" Ibiki told them.
More dropped like flies. Naruto quietly chuckles. 'I see, your mind games are the best Ibiki. Now come on. Anko is waiting and we need to move on.' He thought as he looked out the corner of his eye to the window where he saw Anko siting in a tree waiting to come in.
A few more drop out and Ibiki grins at the numbers left. "GOOD! YOU ALL PASS!" He tells them. Before he could go on. The window to the classroom shatters into a million pieces as a black ball of cloth comes flying into the room. Four kunai come flying out of it as it sticks to the wall.
On the banner said "THE SEXY, THE SINGLE! ANKO MITRASHI!"
"You're early." Ibiki tells Anko as she glances over her shoulder at him.
"Sorry I got tired of waiting." Anko told him with a sheepish smile.
Ibiki lets out a sigh as he shakes his head at her antics. "You should have waited at least five more minutes and I would have been done with them." He told her with a slight chuckle.
"Well I'm here now, you cut them down rather good. But I'll cut them down even more." Anko said with a devilish grin.
"ALRIGHT BRAT'S ITS TIME TO MOVE YOUR ASSES! WE ARE NOW MOVING TO THE SECOND PART OF THE CHUNIN EXAMS. WE ARE NOW HEADING TO TRAINING GROUND 44. NOW MOVE IT!" Anko screams the final part as she jumps onto a desk and jumps out her broken window.
Naruto and crew get out of their chairs and quickly follow out the open windows to Training Ground 44 or Loving known as the Forest of Death.
Naruto looks at his teammates/friends. "Do you all have everything for this part of the exam?" He questions them.
"Yes, we have everything." Shikamaru answers as they had gone through their supplies before entering the Academy and the blonde always likes to double check before heading into a mission.
"Don't worry we got this," Said Ino.
"We ran enough drills in this forest that we know where to set up traps for the other unexpecting fools." Usagi adds with a smirk.
Naruto grins. "I'm proud of you guys." He said with fake tear rolling down his cheeks.
"So, what did Hinata tell you? We saw her talking to you." Ino said with a giggle.
Naruto let out a sigh. "She told me that I could copy off of her after I finished my own exam and was drawing on the back of it." He said with another say. "The sad thing is. She saw me writing down my answers." He added.
"Troublesome. She thinks your that stupid?" Shikamaru questions as he shakes his head as they spot team 8 come walking up to the training ground. With Hinata staring at him with her blush.
Naruto shakes his head and turns his back to her. But thinks better than that and puts Ino and Usagi between himself and Hinata. So she wouldn't be able to use her eyes on him. "I hate those creepy eyes. I think she has undressed me several times already." He said with a shiver.
"Not good." Usagi said with a frown as she turns to openly glare at Hinata. Making the girl look down to the ground. "I think she needs to confidence in herself." She said with another frown.
"Her clan beats her down. So whatever little confidence she does have. Is truly little." Ino tells Usagi with her own frown.
"That is why she will never be Clan head. She will be put into the branch family when her sister comes to age." Naruto added as he knew what would happen to Hinata if she never builds that backbone she truly does need.
"Well that sucks for her. How is that your problem?" Usagi asks Naruto looking at him.
"She uses me as her strength and I don't know why? I saved her once from some bullies when we we're little. That was an exceptionally long time ago and since then she been blushing at me. That is when she developed her crush on me or some kind of fantasy of me." Naruto told them.
"GOOD YOUR ALL HERE! IT'S TIME TO LISTEN UP LOSERS!" Yells at them all.
"THIS IS TRAINING GROUND 44, ALSO KNOWN AS THE FOREST OF DEATH! YOU WILL SPEND THE NEXT FIVE DAYS AND FOUR NIGHTS IN HERE. WHY YOU MAY ASK? WELL THAT IS SIMPLE." Anko began telling them.
"YOU'RE MISSION WHILE IN THE FOREST OF DEATH IS TO GATHER ONE OF THESE TWO SCROLLS FROM ANOTHER TEAM. AS YOU NEED TWO SCROLLS TO ENTER THE TOWER AT THE CENTER OF THE FOREST. WHILE YOU ARE DOING THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE RULE. DO NOT OPEN YOUR SCROLL WHILE STILL ONE IN THE FOREST. FOR WE WILL KNOW AND YOU WILL LOSE." Anko told them with a massive grin as she was holding up the two scrolls she spoke of.
"BEFORE YOU GET A SCROLL YOU MUST SIGN A FORM. THIS PROTECTS ME AND THE VILLAGE FROM YOUR DEATH. FOR INSIDE THIS FOREST ARE MASSIVE BEAST AND INSECTS. SO, IF YOU DIE, WE DO NOT GET IN TROUBLE." Anko simply spelled it out for them. She watches several teams leave as others just pale.
"Man this isn't for me. I'm sorry, I can't do it." One guy told his teammates as others just took off walking without saying a single word to their teammates just worrying about themselves.
"ONCE YOU SIGN GO LINE UP AT THAT LITTLE TENT AND HAND IN YOUR FORMS AND RECEIVE YOUR SCROLLS. ONCE YOU RECEIVED YOUR SCROLL, MOVE TO THE GATE NUMBER YOU ARE GIVEN AND ONCE WE ARE DONE WE WILL BEGIN." Anko told them as the forms are passed around the remaining Genin.
Naruto looks over the form snorting. "These are the ones we give in ANBU." He told the others with another chuckle.
