Today was a long day for Laura. She was going over the last of the paperwork over a custody case with her supervisor senior attorney and lawfirm partner Wendy Parks. She tried not let her emotions get the best of her over this poor single mother trying to fight for full custody of her five children. "Well Laura be prepared for Monday and all of next week. Miss Harder's ex is uncooperative as his lawyers are the highest paid in the state. Yes they love to win and gloat about it, but what they do not know we love to win too for the right reasons. Plus I have you. You are the best out of the best when it come to pre-law students in the state of Illinois. You have worked your butt off not only for me but for Miss Harder and her children to win this case. You have become our secert weapon that is for sure. Now how about you clock out and head home so you can greet your husband back from Tokyo." All Wendy could do was praise Laura. She never had a pre-law student and intern like Laura Urkel. Very determined young lady who was going to make an amzinf lawyer someday. It just made Wendy happy she was part of Laura's journey to become that successful lawyer.

"Thank you so much Wendy. You and the rest of the law firm has been amazing. I can not believe I only I have only three weeks left with you guys. Then I take the bar exam and graduate law school. And as for my husband,I sure will. You know two weeks away does not seem very long compared to the six months he was gone training for his space exploration, but now I am pregnant, every week seems more important than the next when you are growing a human." Laura smiled as Wendy to smile back. They said their goodbyes for the night and whole weekend.

Laura clocked out and rushed to her car. Like always for the past two weeks, it was many dinners at her parents house, or with Mother Winslow and Fletcher at the nursing home. Laura hated they were in the nursing home a few years ago, but it was best for both of them since both of their health was declining. So Laura and Steve would spend certian evenings they would have dinner with them. Also diring that two weeks Laura was a chaperone for 3J's first junior high dance. Which she ran into some of her old teachers and old classmates that were now teachers. There were also evenings Laura would let Max stay over and hang out like when they were younger and just have a girls night . Or her and Max would invite Kevin's fiance, Heather, to have a shopping day.

Tonight like most nights for the last two weeks, she was having dinner at her parents house. But Steve would be there in the next hour as Eddie was picking him up at the airport. When she arrived to her parents house, Laura grabbed her bag with her extra closes to change into and her purse. After some time, after she changed from her work clothes into her "comfy" clothes and tennis shoes, Laura was helping her mom make dinner. It was the least she could do since the last two weeks they hosted her for dinner.

As dinner was in the oven cooking, Laura was in the living room pacing waiting for Steve to arrive. Carl was watching t.v but was getting distracted by his daughter. "Laura, sweetie, come sit down. Steve will be here soon and you need to relax." He suggested and patted the cushion next to him on the sofa.

Laura sighed as she decided it would best for her. "Alright... " she told her dad, taking a seat next to him.

Carl put his arm around his daughter for a small hig and tried to comfort her. "I can not imagine if Steve was gone another six months now that you are pregnant." He stated jokingly.

Laura rolled her eyes but then gave her dad a soft smile. "I would be driving everyone crazy. Things are a lot different now that we are married and expecting than just us being engaged."

Just then the front door open with Eddie and Steve came in. Laura frowned as Steve seemed mad. "Okay Eddo this is not funny anymore. Take the cuffs off of me!" He demanded as Eddie laughed harder.

"What is going on?" Carl asked with a smile yet confused.

Eddie stood behind Steve trying his hardest not to laugh anymore, while Laura stood up with her hands on her hips and was confused as her father was.

"I come out of the airport and my borther-in-law decides to hand cuff me in front of everyone and tell me I'm under arrest! The proceeds to out me in the back. Not only that he had the sirens and lights on. Then decided to stop at Max's house with the lights still on. Not only that Eddie and Max was standing outside pretending he was taking a statement while people driving by..." Steve was frustrated and all red in the face. Then saw his wife's face. He expected Carl to laugh but he saw Laura trying very hard not to laugh as she was biting her lip. "Laura Lee Winslow this is not funny!"

"Just a little bit..." Laura said with a big smile on her face as she walked towards her husband and brother. She then gave Steve a peck on the lips m. With a deapan look towards her brother, "Okay Eddie uncuff him... and just remember I know where you sleep."

Eddie scowled but knew better to take this any farther because he knew Laura would prank him no matter what. So he uncuffed his brother-in-law. The he heard his sister whisper something to Steve he never wanted to hear. "Maybe I should my own cuffs when you're being a bad boy... Maybe we will stip by the naughty store on the way home..." He shook in disgust and waled away as Laura and Steve began to kiss heavily.

"Whats wrong son?" Carl asked when he saw Eddie look disturbed.

Eddie patted his dad on the shoulder, "Best if you don't if you want to keep looking at your daughter in an innocent way Dad. Lets go eat before the lovers make us loose our appetite..." Then Eddie walked off into the kitchen.

Carl shrugged his shoulders and then looked at Steve and Laura. They were having a full make out session by his front door. He rolled his eyes and shook his head as he headed towards the kitchen himself. He was glad his daughter was in a very loving and happy marriage like Harriette and him and loved Steve was his son-in-law, but their makeout sessions were a little too much for him to witness.

Laura and Steve made it to the kitchen hand in hand as the family was waiting for them. As they ate Steve told him all about Tokyo along with how the scientists over there were happy with his work. He could not wait to take Laura and their baby one day. Hopefully to actually bring the whole Winslow family there.

On the way home Laura was actually curious about the Adult Store or as Steve called it "the naughty store," as she heard Maxine and Heather talk about it. All they told her it was just fun to go into and the possibilities to spice up things up. She was glad the girls never went into details because Max was dating her brother and she never wanted to hear what happened between them. As for Heather, well she was getting know her better but still she and Kevin were still new friends and in her mind that would be an odd and weird conversation.

Laura noticed Steve had nodded off while she drove. And finally curiosity got the best of her and pulled into a store parking lot and put her car in park. Then just stared at the building feeling her heart beat faster. Steve felt the car stop and was confused, "Are we home al... What are we doing here?" He asked looking between in wife and the store frowning.

"Well whats the harm just to look right? I mean I did say I wanted to get our own pair of cuffs..." Laura said still not looking away from the store as she was almost embarrassed to loom at Steve.

"I thought you were joking. You are joking right? Is our love making not good enough for you anymore?" He felt his heart drop as saddness and disappointment filled his mind.

Laura looked at her husband in shock as she knew this is not what she wanted his response to be. She took his hand into her hands. She felt guilty instantly, "Of course you are good enough for me when it comes to love making. Trust me I am always satisfied so of course I was joking... I don't know what I was thinking, we will go home now..." Laura felt herself blush and took her hand away from Steve and was ready to put it in reverse.

Steve then took his hand and placed it on hers. They looked at each other and sighed. "Lets go in and just see what its all about. How bad can it be? We are adults after all."

Laura gave him a small smile and nodded, and he was right how bad could it be. As she turned off the car, they got out, Steve came to her side and interlocked their fingers. As soon as Steve opened the door to the store, they took one look and went straight back out. "Well we looked and I'm good are you?" Laura asked as they rushed back to her car.

"Oh yeah..." Steve replied with his cheeks feeling hot and his eyes wide. "Home sounds good about now..."
