RWBY 40k – Salem, Mistress of Inquisition.

[Theme: Shingeki No Kyojin Opening 1].

A symbol of a Salem's father kingdom flag could be seen on a wall.

"They're the prey and we're the hunters!"

The symbol is destroyed by an explosion, revealing the title "Salem, Mistress of the Inquisition" with under it written in gold "The Great Crusade", behind the title was the flag of the Imperium with the two eagles.

"And we're the hunters!"

The camera goes away a little of the title before turning to the stars.

"Gods ignorant of the trampled flower's name, the bird that fell from the stars takes her by the wind."

The next scene shows Salem marching on the land after leaving a grave. Her clothes changing from Remnant clothes to the Imperium's clothes. Her sons join her march, appearing one after another with their own family. All of their faces are serious.

"Even if you pray, nothing will be changed."

The next scene shows a horde of Orks marching inside a ruined human city. Followed by another scene of a Chaos Daemon incursion coming from a gigantic eye in the sky.

"But that which can alter the present is the resolution to fight."

An army of Luna Wolves is present inside of a courtyard with the flags of the Imperium. A cut shows them making the salute. The third cut shows them drawing their swords. The fourth cut shows them launching themselves at the Orks.

"Tramping over corpses, swine who mock the will to advance."

The next scene shows rapid images of the Imperium Propaganda against Xenos like Orks, Eldars, Rangda, Psybrids and other Xenos.

"Peace of the cattle and the prosperity."

Scene showing walls of human cities by explosion of the enemy artillery, with the middle showing the symbol of the Imperium.

"The freedom of the dead, hungry eagle."

The next scene shows Salem blasted away by the explosions shocked but composing herself in the next second.

"Our caged humiliation signals the start of our retaliation. Beyond the worlds, we're hunters that slaughter our prey."

Horus, Fulgrim and Magnus runs at the Orks and destroys them with the help of their Astartes while using their powers against them. Horus especially kills a Warboss.

"As these surging surges burn away our bodies, we ignite the dusk with a crimson bolter and bullet!"

The next scene shows the ramparts of a Hive City defended by both Rogal Dorn and Perturabo. Perturabo activates a cannon that he controls to destroy the Orks in his way. The next cut shows Sanguinius and Horus defending themselves against Xenos who towered at their same height, with heads resembling lumps atop their round torsos. Possessing long and thick arms with in the end three stubby fingers. The next scene shows Salem with her silver armour running and charges with her blood katana against a Bloodletter followed by a fading of the Imperium flag floating.

"And we're the hunters!"

The scene shows an Astartes running in slow-motion on an Ork. The next scene shows the Primarchs exiting their barges along with their Legion. In front the silhouette of the Emperor also running.

"And we're the hunters!"

In front of the coming army, a gigantic horde of Orks. And the overlapping army of Astartes coming to them. Before chaining with images of fight of Guardsmens against Xenos, Astartes against Xenos and the four silhouettes deep inside the warp accompanied by their daemons.

"And we're the hunters!"

Inside the overlapping images, the Brothers Gods are present, looking with contempt the guardsmens facing them. The next cut shows the map of the Galaxy covered by the blood along with the apparitions of uncountable names of different human planets.

The last three cuts show Salem, the Primarchs and the Emperor in their armour.

As the music reaches its final part, Salem, the 20 Primarchs along their whole family could be seen on a mountain gazing to the stars with their back turned from the camera.

Ep 67: Castigation of Carinae.

959.M30.

The gigantic fleet of the Raven Guard was going inside of the void of the space. But he was not alone, Astari was on his side. She was wearing some kind of Commodore Cloth, with rich tunic, boots and long coat. Nasturi is also here, wearing an Admiral Cloth. But also, there is the twins Brann Nev and Agapito Nev now Space Marines Commanders.

Despite the thickness of the cloth, it couldn't hide in the slightest her massive curves. It was quite embarrassing for her since the men, except the Astartes were glancing at her whenever given the chance.

Corvus turned at her and could see her discomfort.

Corvus: "Are you okay?"

Astari: "I feeling observed…"

Corvus looked at the crew, realised what is happening before glaring at the crewmembers who quickly turned to their work.

Astari: "Even these clothes cannot hide these melons… I didn't ask for them."

Nasturi: "You are still beautiful, sweetie."

Astari: "…"

Corvus: "This isn't for nothing that I proposed you to go in the Phoenix Empire if you want. They are more used for the appeal of skin…"

Astari: "I know, I know… But Asuka is such a big jerk."

Corvus: "Remind yourself that your grandmother said to you… Show the strength of the leader all the time and no one will disrespect you."

Astari: "Uhuh… Talk about something else please."

Corvus: "It's time to reveal you the importance of this mission since this is the first time you will travel with me. A few weeks earlier, the Rogue Traders have discovered in the cluster of Argyluss, the society of Carinae. A human civilisation installed on One thousand orbital stations. It was constructed in the Age of Technology has a transit since it was ideally place of a Warp canal. The ambassadors tried to convince the Carinaenans to join the Imperium. But they have their tongues and hands cut in response."

Astari: "That's awful…"

Corvus: "So, this is why we will conquer this system. It will facilitate our entry in the rest of the cluster."

Astari: "I have a question thought."

Corvus: "Go ahead."

Astari: "Humanity has constructed truly marvellous things in the past. How we have fallen so much in the Old Night?"

Corvus: "That's a hard question but since there is no one to communicate with each other, we can only count on ourselves and the most dependant ones have been sacrificed for survival. Alas."

Astari: "Fortunately, grandma is reuniting the STCs under her care. We will be back to our former glory."

Corvus: "Hm… of course."

A few hours later…

The hidden fleet by reflection shields arrived to an adjacent system and sees another fleet in front of them.

Corvus: "There they are, the front of our 27th Expeditionary Fleet. They are waiting for us."

The XIXth Legion arrived in front of it. The Savior in Shadow arrived in front the flagship of the human fleet of the Primarch's Legion.

Capcom: "Contact!"

A hologram opened, revealing the Admiral of the fleet, So-Lung Fenc.

Corvus Corax: "Hello, Admiral."

Admiral So-Lung Fenc: "Hello, my lord. You are arrived just in time for the ultimatum."

Corvus Corax: "Know this, So-Lung Fenc. You have on your back more than 30.000 Legionaries."

Admiral So-Lung Fenc: "That's reassuring. Now, we have to go now, if you excuse me. I will give you the feedback for your speech but also someone that would be valuable for you, my lord."

Astari: "Who is he?"

Admiral So-Lung Fenc: "See my lady Astari, his name is Iterator Sentril. A man who knows about the names of different systems chiefs. Unfortunately, his tongue was removed along with his hands. We tried to repair the damage by a graft, so forgive him in advance he has a hard time to talk."

Astari: "Oh, poor man…"

Admiral So-Lung Fenc: "If you see a barge exiting my flagship. It is him who is coming for you."

The duo sees in the corner of the flagship a small light point coming toward the side of the Savior in Shadow.

Corvus Corax: "Thanks for the explanation."

Admiral So-Lung Fenc: "Your welcome, my lord. I hope the best for this operation."

A few moments later…

The duo faced the Iterator in question. It is a man in his 30s with brown hair and quite rich clothes, displaying his vital role. But he wears two bionic hands and his mouth is slammed shut.

Corvus Corax: "So, now we have presented ourselves. Tell me more about the Overlord Carinae or at least the most influential one."

Sentril responded, with a very sharp accent and minced words.

Sentril: "It is a man… named… Agarth… He is the Archi-Controller… of the Orbital City… of Zenith-312. He is the most virulent opponent… of the Imperial Truth."

Astari: "And?"

Sentril: "He mocked… The Emperor… he qualified him has a tyrant… He won't renounce at any moment at the independence… The purge of 27-42 or Hartin if you want who was in a close system… doesn't helped."

Corvus Corax: "I know. I think you have talked enough. Thanks."

He turned to the capcom.

Corvus Corax: "The fleet will have a spearhead formation for the charge and wait for the rest of my orders."

The hidden fleet organise itself in this formation.

Corvus Corax: "Astari. You will see how you will lead armies later in your life."

Astari: "Yes… Dad."

Nasturi: "You will be fine…"

Capcom: "My lord. The ultimatum is ready."

Corvus Corax: "Light up the hologram."

And so, the hologram activates. It displays only one person and not anyone, Agarth himself but he cannot see the rest but he knows that he hijacked the whole network of Carinae, since there are more than 7.394 contacts on the hologram.

Corvus Corax: "People of the whole nation of Carinae. I am Corvus Corax, XIXth Primarch of the Imperium of Man. Son of the Emperor of Mankind and the High Lady of Terra, Salem. Mankind has been separated from each other since the Old Night but now, the dawn is coming. I demand you to join the Imperium. You cannot continue to stay isolated and from what I saw from the scouts, your cities are for the most part ruined and decaying slowly. Even some of them are completely inhabitable. Make the good choice and I don't want a bloodshed."

The silence falls on the room but then, Agarth screamed in a very sharp Imperial accent.

Agarth: "NEVER! You will suffer the wrath of the Carinaenans! We have already refused your tentative of slavery against us! Dead to the false Emperor!"

And so, the other nobles little by little joined Agarth in their insults before the hologram is cut.

Corvus Corax: "… At least we tried."

Nasturi: "Some cannot be reasoned."

Astari: "That's sad…"

Corvus Corax: "We will meet So-Lung."

A moment later…

The group of Corvus Corax are now inside of the flagship of the admiral. But to their surprise, a huge dinner table is served in front of them. And so, So-Lung is there.

So-Lung Fenc: "Here I am, there is a diner for you, lord Corvus Corax."

Corvus Corax: "Hum… I don't need this."

So-Lung Fenc: "What?"

Corvus Corax: "This kind of thing is not my way."

Nasturi: "Me neither."

Astari: "It's nice from you, Admiral. But we have simpler taste. This kind of thing is something that you do with my cousin Asuka and my uncle Zorai."

So-Lung Fenc: "Oh I see… That's… reassuring."

Corvus Corax: "Despite that. We shall begin a plan. Let's see…"

He lights a hologram displaying the plans of Carinae.

Corvus Corax: "We will take over some on these moons, here, there and these three others. And when this happens, the rest of the auxiliaries would swarm by these stations and maybe. A lot of these lords will surrender. If they surrender, they will be maintained on their place."

Nasturi: "You will infiltrate?"

Corvus Corax nodded.

Corvus Corax: "I have developed a new plan of infiltration. We will destroy these five satellites. They have a lesser defence than the rest, the size population who is living inside but also their lords are implacable. We will send a message to them with this attack."

Astari: "I see… That's intelligent."

Corvus Corax: "We will go now."

Moments later…

Invisible barges managed arrived toward the colonies and the guards realised too little too late that the Raven Guards invades their colonies, rapidly killed their commanders and taking over their cities.

Corvus on his side, accompanied by Brann Nev and Agapito Nev but also Astari launched an assault inside of the gigantic colony of Retrograde-48.

Like the other Legions, the Space Marines steamrolled and destroyed every soldiers.

Corvus Corax: "Here is the palace!"

Agapito Nev: "Let's go!"

Brann Nev: "For the Imperium!"

The Primarch with his metal fangs slashed the soldiers with ease, the twins worked together to break through the lines. Astari on her side, wears a double power sword with a small armour all fabricated by her grandmother could also kills with a bit of ease every soldier. Her force was a big as her assets, both inherited from her very parents.

They penetrated inside of the palace, after slashes and hits, breaks the doors. And see the seven lords directing this city. Despite his pleas, he executed them without any remorse.

Then the Primarch arrived to the communication hologram of the seven lords who linked to the rest of the Carinae. He turned back to see the Raven Guards who brought the Song-He, a holographic machine that they will connect to the rest of the Carinae network. While the news arrived to him that another three cities have been taken over by the auxiliary troops.

Then, the moment arrived, Corvus Corax lights up the hologram.

Corvus Corax: "I will give another chance to surrender now. After all, you saw the brevity of our conquest of eight of your colonies. Join the Imperium and the war will cease."

But this time, nobody responds. Long seconds passed and explosion followed by earthquakes could heard and felt inside of the very city of where he was standing.

Astari received a messaged inside of her hologram watch and opens it, it was So-Lung Fenc.

So-Lung Fenc: "I have arrived to contact you. We have intercepted orders of Agarth is firing to your city, we are already responding to them. This is total war now. Also, the cities are beginning to assemble in a fortress. We have no more time left!"

Corvus grunted.

Corvus Corax: "They are stubborn. Hm… it seems we have no choice. Let's take over Zenith-312."

Astari: "But how? It's in the middle of the Carinae."

Corvus Corax: "Don't forget what we can do."

Astari: "Oh… I forgot… that's true."

So-Lung Fenc: "Even with the Overlord dies, I don't think that they won't resisting… We have to do a total attack!"

Corvus Corax: "For now, we stick to my plan. But if anything, go sour, you can execute your plan."

Moments later, Corvus Corax, accompanied by Astari and the twins are now back inside of the Saviour in Shadow, accompanied the rest of the fleet of the XIXth Legion. They are going in the very middle of the Carinae space stations.

And so, they saw it, the city was now in front of him.

Corvus Corax: "Let's go now…"

The defence cannons fired on the fleet but the XIXth Legion replicated by a bomb rain who destroyed the cannons. And so, the Astartes arrived on the docks before progressing inside of Zenith-312, accompanied by the Therion auxiliaries.

Corvus himself hides himself from view, accompanied by Astari. The father and the daughter progressed, avoiding the cameras or destroying them if there is no other choice. He wasn't alone, because twelve Mor Deythan, Space Marines who has inherited the powers of the father were accompanying him.

Corvus Corax: "We control half of the town but be still careful. We are not so far from the palace. We can see it in the horizon."

The team passed under a bridge, under a river of boiling urine who disappears in manholes, joining streets with simple houses lighten by green methane torches.

Astari: "What the heck is that place?"

Corvus Corax: "Something is not right…"

They continue their way inside of this weird neighbourhood until they arrived in front of a settling basin with strong ammonia smell, above was a bridge with a foreman who was watching a crowd of slaves who was cleaning all of this piss.

Corvus by seeing was silently outraged.

Astari: "A foreman…"

Corvus Corax: "Let me taking charge of this…"

His invisible shadow goes on the bridge and silently goes toward the foreman. And then, he grabs the foreman by the head with his real big hands, he tries to debate. But Corvus cuts his hands and eviscerated his intestines before tossing them inside of the ammoniac basin while tossing his body still alive and in a taste of shock to the pile of trash. He reveals his appearance in front of the slave who quickly runs away at his sight.

He jumps out and approached a woman who was immobile of the terror. He retracted his metal fangs inside of his gauntlets before caressing the woman cheek.

Corvus Corax: "You will be freed."

He disappears from the woman's sight and she only fallen on her butt, unsure from what she has saw.

Corvus Corax goes back to his group.

Corvus Corax: "Let's go, now."

And so, the group progressed to finally see a closer glimpse of Agarth Palace, dominating the center of the city. All of the avenues joined a plaza under the palace. The group engaged on a service gateway suspended above a little forest and a little town. The town was filled to the brim with dozens of thousands of people terrified. The Primarch was disgusted.

Astari: "There is a lot of people… It's like in the Hive Cities."

Corvus Corax: "Using his people as a shield, disgraceful."

While the group was continuing his way toward to the palace on the bridge, suddenly massive screams are heard under them.

They turned back and could see for the greatest horror the people panicking while a sort of cloud is exiting hidden atmospheric ventilations inside of the ground. They strangled themselves, the weakest falls on the ground, dead. While the rest falls to the ground, shaken by spasms before immobilizing and so everything goes silent under their feet.

Astari: "This is gruesome."

Corvus Corax: "Disgu…"

But before he could finish, he interrupted himself by seeing an impossible scene. The corpses began to stand up again.

Astari: "No!"

Corvus Corax: "This miserable. He has used an Anima-phage virus!"

But then, these new zombies collectively lifted their heads and caught the invisible team and began to groans.

Astari: "What?! How they are seeing us?!"

Corvus Corax: "This is because of the virus, I am Agarth has modified it to make them see the psychic powers!"

They began to run away toward the palace while the zombies began to climb on themselves, trees or anything they could find to reach the bridge.

Some of the Mor Deythan stays behind and fired their bolters against the zombies but despite massive damage, the horde managed to reach the beginning of the bridge and began to rush in mass.

The group climbed on the palace walls, followed by more skilled zombies in terms of climbing. Astari receives a lot of reports on her watch.

Astari: "Dad! All the town is affected! A lot of people have been transformed and began to swarm or army!"

Corvus Corax then see the Astartes who covered the retreat on the palace roof are been swarmed and have their armour tear apart and their body devoured. The XIXth Primarch was furious.

Corvus Corax: "Wait me here!"

He activates his dorsal jetpack and rushed toward the other Astartes. He grabs their hand before bringing them back in safety. Despite that, the zombies are still climbing more and more.

Corvus Corax: "Come now and put on your helmets!"

Astari put her helmet on her head, making sure that her hair is all entered inside, followed by Corvus. The group climbed to the dome of the city who were protecting the city from the void. He plunged his metal fangs inside of the dome and tears a hole. The air was shuffled out around them then the group exited to the void began to walk on the dome and then join the well of weak gravity by their stabilisers.

And a few moments later…

Corvus arrived on the Saviour of Shadow, the Primarch expressed a furious face when he removed his helmet while Astari was worried when she takes out her helmet.

Nasturi approached him.

Nasturi: "What do you do now?"

Corvus Corax: "The troops have to evacuate the city immediately."

Nasturi: "Hm… Our instruments detected a fleeing vessel. It seems that Agarth is trying to get away."

Corvus Corax: "Where he is?!"

Nasturi: "Flying very close to the hypergiant to try to hide from us."

Corvus Corax: "Then, sent a unity of Moritats to sabotage this vessel."

Nasturi: "Okay."

Corvus Corax arrived toward the main hologram of the room. While mother and daughter face each other.

Nasturi: "Are you okay?"

Astari wiped some tears from her eyes.

Astari: "It was truly horrifying… Agarth has to pay for his crimes."

Nasturi: "Don't worry. Your father will do the thing."

Corvus Corax faced the main hologram and call So-Lung Fenc.

So-Lung Fenc: "My lord?"

Corvus Corax: "Execute your plan now."

So-Lung Fenc: "Thanks a lot…"

He closed the message while Corvus eyed to the sun. A barge full of Moritats suicidal warriors has just gone invisible and it was a question of time before Agarth will be trapped.

A few hours later, while the battle is raging. The Saviour in Shadow approached the fleeing vessel was now falling to the sun and was burning and disintegrating faster and faster. The Moritats have succeeded.

Corvus contacted the lord in front of his twin's commanders and his small family.

Corvus Corax: "Hello, overlord of Carinae. You understand more why are you here now?"

Argath: "Please, spare me! Let me negotiate my surrender!"

Corvus shakes his head.

Corvus Corax: "You should have done it since the beginning and the fact that you used your citizens as meat shield is truly disgraceful. One more reason to die."

Agarth was shocked but still was seized by anger.

Agarth: "Be cursed you and your miserable false Emperor! Curse y…"

The communication cuts and the vessel of the overlord disappeared inside of the hypergiant clouds and seconds later, a flash of explosion briefly emerged.

Corvus Corax: "Have you registered the conversation?"

Capcom: "Yes?"

Corvus Corax: "Transfer this to the communication hologram, they have to know what happens when they opposed the Imperium's might."

Salem and the Emperor rediscovers the XXth Primarch, but the discovery makes the other Primarchs suspicious about the twins since the two adults seems to treat with too much familiarity with the twins. But the reality is shadier than that.

Next episode… A bitter marriage.

963.M30, with all the Primarchs reunited. The whole family reunited inside of Terra to a big event. The Emperor and Salem are now marrying. After the family reunion and the marriage, the honeymoon promises to be hard.
