A spotlight shone down on Cure Moon and Cure Sun as they stood back to back in the middle of a boxing ring. In the audience, thousands of fairies were cheering "Celestial Precure!" or booing them with handmade signs and posters. One side of the arena had their Miracle Lights shining as they cheered the girls on. The girls had bruises and were panting. Their eyes were tired and exhausted.
"Sun, not gonna lie, I don't think I can go on..." Moon confessed.
Sun herself was feeling the same way but she pushed the feeling away and stood up straight. "No! We have one more Precure team to beat and beating them is our one way ticket out of this battle royale hell. Do you want to lose and stay trapped in this place forever?"
Moon fell to her knees. "No, I get it, but I literally can't physically fight anymore. I need to rest for, like, a century or something!"
Suddenly, the theme song of the last Precure team the girls had to fight started to play. The other half of the audience that weren't cheering for the girls began to cheer and they waved their Miracle Lights.
"Moon, get the fuck up right now!" Sun ordered.
Whining, Moon did as she was told with a heavy frown plastered on her face. "Argh, who are we fighting now!?"
Just then, 3 Precure from a different team fell from the ceiling and landed in front of them. Then, they posed.
"Shining life, Shiny Luminous! The light's heart and the light's will, for the sake of uniting all as one!" The Precure in pink, Shiny Luminous posed.
"Emissary of light! Cure Black!"
"Emissary of light! Cure White!"
Cure Black and Cure White posed. "Together we are Precure!"
"I'm still having trouble processing the fact that my mom is a Precure..." Moon lamented, staring at her mother, Cure Black, in disbelief.
Sun looked at her own mother, Cure White, and shivered. "This is very disturbing."
"Girls-lulu! Get your heads in the game-lulu! You two are punches and kicks away from winning this-lulu!" Lilu cried from the pouch hanging from the waistband of Sun's skirt.
"And you girls have the upper hand since they don't use weapons-sisi!" Casi cried from the pouch that hung from the waistband of Moon's skirt.
"But they've beaten all of the Precure teams that they've been up against, and a lot of the other teams have magical items and weapons," Sun said as Moon jumped into action.
"Precure! Waxing Crescent!" Moon cried, summoning her katana. She jumped into the air and raised it over her head. "Mom, don't ground me in the future for this!"
"Idiot wait!" Sun yelled after her.
Moon brought the sword down as she fell from the air towards Cure Black. Without blinking an eye, Black swiftly moved out of the way, turned around as Moon landed on the ground, and knocked Moon out with a simple uppercut.
How did we even end up in this situation...? Sun wondered as the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team began to slowly circle Sun, the last Precure standing on her own team. Oh yeah. I do remember how things came to be like this.
Bonus 1: if Cure Moon and Cure Sun were in a Precure All Stars movie...
Once upon a time, Fujimura Momo and Irisawa Akari were sitting in class when they saw a little white rabbit-looking fairy scurrying all over the classroom. Only they could see the fairy. When they made eye contact with the fairy, it ran out of the classroom into the halls of their school. Momo and Akari had followed after the fairy since their task was to collect all 12 Zodiac Beasts. They believed that this fairy was one of them. They had just caught up with the fairy when it opened a portal under them and they fell in. The portal had taken them to a grand palace on the moon and they saw that they weren't the only ones that had fallen down the portal. 82 other Precure were standing in the grand hall with them, looking just as confused as they were.
An elegant-looking woman dressed in a white, serene kimono and had long silver hair suddenly materialized into the room before them. The confused chatter that Momo, Akari, and the other girls were sharing amongst themselves quickly died down the moment the woman appeared, petting the little white rabbit-looking fairy in her arms.
"Welcome, all! I am Chang'e, the Goddess of the Moon!" She announced.
Momo quickly leaned closer to Akari to whisper in her ear. "I thought Sailor Moon was the Goddess of the Moon."
Akari scrunched up her nose in annoyance and elbowed Momo away from her.
Chang'e began to address the crowd of confused girls. "I see that you are all in your school uniforms. I apologize for ripping you girls away from your studies. Do not worry. Time works differently here. When you girls return to your worlds, it will be as if you had never left. In the meantime, please, partake in this banquet that has been prepared for all of you! This is for all of your hard work as Precure!"
Tables of rice cakes and all sorts of 5 star delicacies magically appeared around them in a series of poofs. The girls didn't think too much about it so they enjoyed the food. They even interacted with other Precure teams.
Momo found herself getting along with the HeartCatch Precure team.
"Erika-chan, you are so funny!" Momo yelled, throwing her head back to laugh.
"But I'm serious!" Kurumi Erika, Cure Marine of the HeartCatch Precure team insisted.
Momo's fairy Casi was curled up into a ball as the HeartCatch Precure team's fairies Chypre, Coffret, and Potpourri surrounded her and yelled at her.
"I'm sorry for stealing your food-sisi! I didn't know you three were still eating-sisi!" Casi wailed through her tears.
Akari, meanwhile, bonded with the DokiDoki! Precure team.
"How do the five of you get along with each other? I only have one partner on my team but she drives me crazy," Akari asked Aida Mana, Cure Heart of the DokiDoki! Precure team.
"Communication and patience are key. They even have to be patient with me," Mana answered with a warm smile.
Akari sighed. " You should try to talk to my teammate. Then, come back and tell me if you still have any patience left."
Akari's fairy, Lilu, was busy playing poker with The DokiDoki! Precure team's fairies Sharuru, Rakeru, Lance, and Davi and they were betting the number of rice cakes they had.
During their interactions, Momo and Akari simultaneously glanced a few tables away from them and noticed the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team. Then, they gasped and turned to look at each other from their separate tables.
"Um, I'll be back!" Momo cried, standing up and scooping Casi up.
"It...it was nice m-m-meeting you!" Hanasaki Tsubomi, Cure Blossom of the HeartCatch Precure team cried before hiding her face into her hands.
Momo scurried over to the DokiDoki! Precure table that Akari was sitting at and dragged her and Lilu away.
"Come back again!" Hishikawa Rikka, Cure Diamond of the DokiDoki! Precure team, called after Akari.
Momo and Akari found a table that was close to the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team's table.
"Yo...why's my mom here?" Momo asked Akari.
Akari blinked. "Your mom?"
"Yeah, or at least a younger version of her!" Momo cried before pointing at Misumi Nagisa, Cure Black of the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team. "My mom likes to talk about her younger years and even shows us pictures from her youth! There's no way I would mistake her!"
Akari looked at Nagisa, then at Momo, then at Nagisa again. "I see the resemblance."
"My little sister Mariko's her carbon copy," Momo said, staring at her mother. "This is so weird. So my mom was a Precure...why do I feel grossed out?"
"Same," Akari said, glancing at Yukishiro Honoka, Cure White of the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team. "Out of all things, I would have never guessed that my mom was a Precure as well."
Momo quickly faced Akari. "Huh!?"
"The one with the blue-ish black-ish hair is a younger version of my mom," Akari answered with a frown.
Momo sprung up to her feet and buried her fingers into her hair. "Your mom was a Precure too!?"
The two would have conversed about it more if Chang'e hadn't reappared before all of the Precure to give another announcement.
"I hope you all are enjoying yourselves!" Chang'e cried.
"The food here is great!" Natsuumi Manatsu, Cure Summer of the Tropical-Rouge! Precure team, yelled.
Chang'e continued her announcement. "The next part of the banquet, and my favorite part, is about to begin. It will be a show of strength. The strongest Precure team will be declared the winners and they will get to leave and go back to their world. The remaining Precure teams will have to stay behind and battle amongst each other until a new victor arises and that victor will get to leave, The cycle will repeat itself over and over until two Precure teams remain. Amongst the two, the team that lost will stay here forever and entertain my little moon rabbit and I for all of eternity."
The hall grew silent. Then, panicked chatter erupted amongst the Precure teams. As the Precure panicked, the tables began to disappear and smoke filled the hall. As the smoke settled in, the Precure and their fairies began to drop like flies one by one.
Momo fought her hardest to resist the smoke as she sprinted towards Chang'e with her fists tightly clenched. She jumped over and dodged the falling Precure and fairies.
"Ahhh, I'll get you!" Momo yelled, jumping up.
Her fist was only a couple of centimeters away when she succumbed to the effects of the smoke. The last thing Momo saw was a smirk slowly appearing on Chang'e's lips.
The minute Momo found herself awake, she immediately sat up and tried to jump onto her feet. However, the blood rushed to her head, causing her to flop back down onto the ground.
Akari, who had already woken up and was standing up, simply shook her head at Momo. Then, she took in her surroundings.
They were in a grassy field in the middle of the day. Birds sang as they flew by and a rainbow was even in the sky. A couple of feet away stood the Wonderful Precure team. Inukai Iroha (Cure Friendly) and Nekoyashiki Mayu (Cure Lillian) were sharing nervous glances as they held onto their pets, Komugi and Yuki, respectively.
"Hey!" Akari called out to them. "Let's talk this out!"
"Yes, let's!" Iroha cried.
The girls approached each other and met in the middle. Momo stayed back to groan about her head.
"I'm getting the feeling that the both of you don't want to fight, correct?" Akari asked.
Iroha nodded. "It would be ideal to find a way to leave this place without having to fight the other Precure."
"I agree, but something tells me that that goddess is not willing to compromise," Akari said with Iroha and Mayu nodding in agreement.
Suddenly, Akari swung a fist and punched Iroha in the face, catching Iroha by surprise and knocking her out. Next, she threw a kick at Mayu, also knocking her out. Momo, who was sitting up, saw this.
"Ya! Akari, what are you doing!?" Momo yelled.
"Getting us a way out!" Akari yelled as Komugi and Yuki transformed into humans.
Akari and Momo's jaws dropped at the transformation.
"Ah! The pets transformed! I've seen it all!" Momo cried, springing up to her feet.
Akari quickly overcame her own shock when she noticed Komugi and Yuki take out their Wonderful Tacts. She kicked them out of their hands and immediately, the three girls began to punch and kick each other. Momo quickly joined in, pulling Komugi's hair and pulling her back.
After their little brawl, Komugi and Yuki were laying defeated on the ground and Akari and Momo standing victorious.
"That was a dick move," Momo told Akari.
"I just thought that it would be easier for us to fight them before they transformed into Precure," Akari reasoned with no ounce of remorse.
"Congratulations, Celestial Precure! You have defeated the Wonderful Precure!" Chang'e's voice spoke.
Momo and Akari looked around to see if they could find where Chang'e was speaking from but holographic screens of other Precure fights appeared.
The Soaring Sky! Precure team fought against the Star Twinkle Precure team and lost.
The Kirakira Precure a la Mode team fought against the Delicious Party Precure team and won.
The Tropical-Rouge! Precure team fought against the DokiDoki! Precure team and lost.
The Healin' Good Precure team fought against the Suite Precure team and won.
The Hug! Precure team fought against the Witchy Precure team and lost.
The Go! Princess Precure team fought against the Fresh Precure team and won.
The HappinessCharge Precure team fought against the HeartCatch Precure team and lost.
The Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! team fought against the Smile Precure team and won.
The Futari wa Precure Splash Star team fought against the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team and lost.
"Woah..." Momo mused to herself as she watched the fights play out.
"Next, you two will be sent to fight the Star Twinkle Precure," Chang'e said as a portale opened beneath Momo and Akari to suck them in.
The portal took Momo and Akari to a large parking lot in the nighttime. Multicolored fireworks blossomed in the midnight sky and around them were expensive sports cars with their high beams on. In front of them were the Star Twinkle Precure team already in their Precure forms.
"We saw what you two did to the Wonderful Precure! That wasn't very nice!" Cure Star of the Star Twinkle Precure team cried.
"Well, we gotta do what we have to do!" Akari reasoned.
"You two are the Celestial Precure, correct?" Cure Soleil of the Star Twinkle Precure team asked. "That's cool! We're also star-themed!"
"What's your team's mission? Our mission is to find the 12 Princess Star Color Pens, which are the 12 Star Princess that maintain order in the universe," Cure Milky of the Star Twinkle Precure team said.
"What? That's so similar! We have to find the 12 Zodiac Beasts and they maintain order in the universe!" Momo cried.
"This is because the Precure teams exist in parallel universes and dimensions! Makes perfect sense! But what stays constant are the 12 Zodiacs that maintain the universe's order," Cure Cosmo of the Star Twinkle Precure team explained.
Momo and Akari blinked. Then, they nodded and faked their laughs. "Yep! Exactly!"
Cure Selene of the Star Twinkle Precure team stood in position, prompting the rest of her team to also stand in position.
"Wait! Let us transform!" Momo cried as she and Akari pulled out their phones.
"Precure! Aurora Wave!"
"The emissary representing Cancer! Cure Moon!"
"The emissary representing Leo! Cure Sun!"
"Together we are Precure!"
Cure Moon and Cure Sun stood in position. Then, both teams clashed.
Momo as Cure Moon and Akari as Cure Sun fought against multiple Precure teams in their quest to return back to their world.
Their wins: Wonderful Precure team, Soaring Sky! Precure team, Delicious Party Precure team, Healin' Good Precure team, Star Twinkle Precure team, Hug! Precure team, Kirakira Precure a la Mode team, Witchy Precure team, HappinessCharge Precure team, DokiDoki! Precure team, Smile Precure team, Suite Precure team, and the Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! team.
But they also lost against: Tropical-Rouge! Precure team, Go! Princess Precure team, HeartCatch Precure team, and the Fresh Precure team.
They had just defeated the Futari wa Precure Splash Star team, therefore adding them to their list of wins. Their fight took place in a dimension in the sky with tiny temples sitting on clouds and waterfalls that flowed into infinity.
"Finally! That took forever!" Cure Moon yelled as Cure Bloom and Cure Egret laid defeated on a temple below the temple that she and Cure Sun were standing in. "How many more times do we have to do this shit!? I'm exhausted!"
Sun sighed in agreement. "We have been doing this for a while...at the end of the day, we have limits..."
"Congratulations, Celestial Precure! You have defeated the Futari wa Precure Splash Star!" Chang'e's voice announced as multiple screens appeared around them.
One of the screens had a scoreboard which revealed how many wins and loses the Precure teams had, along the places they were in. Momo and Akari had 14 wins and 4 loses, putting them in 2nd place. The team in first place, the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team, had 18 wins and 0 loses, putting them in 1st place.
"How are we in 2nd place when we've had 4 losses?" Sun wondered as she went down the rest of the scoreboard. She blinked upon seeing that a couple of teams were tied. "How is it possible to end up with a tie?"
"Now, you two will be sent to fight the Futari wa Precure Max Heart," Chang'e said. "This next fight is crucial. If you can defeat this team, you two will emerge as the overall victors of this banquet. Because this will be a high stakes fight, I will allow you two some time to look back at Futari wa Precure Max Heart's previous fights and develop strategies."
The images in the screens then showed each of the fights of their mothers' team and statistics. Moon and Sun were surprised to find that Cure Black and Cure White did not rely on weapons, only their fists. Shiny Luminous didn't even fight. Instead, she lent them support.
You want us to fight our moms!?" Moon yelled, yanking her military commander's hat from off of her head. She laughed sarcastically and began to pace back and forth. "And of course the strongest team is saved for last! Bruh! It's over! We're done!"
Sun's exhausted legs almost gave out as Moon loudly groaned from a couple of steps away. Something tells me that this is going to be a pain.
Currently, Cure Moon was laying knocked out on the ground while Cure Sun was surrounded by Cure Black, Cure White, and Shiny Luminous. The audience of fairies in the boxing arena's bleachers were waving their Miracle Lights and screaming like banshees.
"What are those sticks that those other fairies are holding?" Cure Sun asked her own fairy Lilu who was in her little pouch hanging from the side of her skirt's waistband.
"They're Miracle Lights-lulu. They boost up the Precure's power-lulu," Lilu answered. "Now do something-lulu! Don't just stand there-lulu! Cure Black and Cure White will knock you out in a split second-lulu!"
"Um...Precure! Solar Flare!" Sun's dark rose pink pistol materialized in her hands and she noticed the way Black and White had clenched their fists immediately.
I'm so close to leaving! All I have to do is pull the trigger and hold my own for a bit! Then, Sun thought about the previous fights of the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team that Chang'e let her and Moon watch. Right at the finish line...but I can be pushed back to square one just like that. Plus...
Sun stared at Cure White, a younger version of her mother. Fighting the other Precure was easier because she didn't know them. But this time, she's up against someone she was familiar with. Cure White, however, had no idea that she, Cure Sun, was her daughter 35 years into the future. Now, it felt personal. Around them, the fairies were waving their Miracle Light wands, boosting up the two Precure teams' power. The power for us to beat each other with and trap the other in some dimension forever...all for some entertainment...
Sun tightened her grip on her pistol, then she dropped it with a sigh.
"What are you doing-lulu!?" Lilu yelled from her pouch.
"Are you giving up!? Just like that!?" Cure Black asked, eyebrows furrowed.
"This is stupid..." Sun sighed again in frustration. "Damn, and I was doing good too..." She faced Cure Black and Cure White who were looking at her crazy.
"So that means we win by default?" Cure White asked. Meanwhile, the fairies in the audience were conversing to themselves and Cure Moon slowly regained consciousness.
"You know, earlier, I was more focused on trying to get the fuck out of here. I never really got to see what's going on for real until I was face to face with y'all," Sun said. "The team with the most losses will stay here for all eternity as petty entertainment. We have to fight each other while we're exhausted and we're not given any breaks and even have to resort to some morally wrong methods all for some petty entertainment. All of this is for entertainment while others get to watch us from the safety of their seats. Shit, even those Miracle Lights, which are supposed to support us, are being used to enhance our abilities to fight and destroy one another. We're basically monkeys being told to dance just for others to be entertained!"
Black and White shared a look. Then, Black frowned. "Your point?"
"My point is, why do we have to give these twisted beings what they want, which is entertainment, when it's our own wellbeing at stake? Why can't we just help each other out!? We're human, after all!" Sun cried.
In the background, Moon stumbled onto her feet. From the corner of her eyes, she noticed Shiny Luminous, who stood to the side away from the other three, standing in position to deal with her. In retaliation, Moon simply glared at her and cracked her knuckles. "Y'all wanna go home and we wanna go home too. We're all strangers to each other but we all want the same exact thing, so why are we wasting our time beating each other when we should be beating up the reason why we're in this mess in the first place!"
Moon took a few steps towards Shiny Luminous who slowly dropped her offensive stance. Moon held her hand out for Shiny Luminous to take. "Before we were all knocked out, I saw Chang'e smirk. She doesn't give two flying fucks about us! She just wants fun for herself! And everything Cure Sun was saying was straight up facts! So wake up and let's revolt!"
Shiny Luminous nervously glanced at Black and White. "I think they're right," she told them. Then, she took Moon's hand.
Sun smiled and looked up. Holographic screens of the various Precure teams fighting each other were floating around. However, they were no longer fighting each other. "I hope that the other Precure are listening to this message and they agree to fight, not against us, but with us!"
On the screens, the other Precure hesitantly looked at the teams that they were up against. Then, slowly but surely, they approached each other. Smiles formed on their faces as they took each other's hands and determination burned in their eyes.
Black scoffed, bringing Sun's attention back to her. "You're so close to the finish line. You might've been able to defeat us. But you want to help everyone out. How noble," Black said with a smirk.
"Believe me when I say that I'm nowhere close to an angel or a saint. But I have an extremely low bullshit tolerance," Sun confessed. "We know that y'all two are way closer than me to the finish line. Will y'all take up my offer?"
White smiled warmly at Sun and placed her hand on her shoulder. "Lead the way."
Suddenly, the area around them began to transform. The Celestial Precure team and the Futari wa Precure Max Heart team stood back to back, clenching their fists to prepare for anything suddenly popping out at them.
When the smoke cleared up, they found themselves in a black plane along with the other Precure teams. They were all reunited.
"So you all think you can defeat me? Okay, fine! Let's play a new game!" Chang'e voice rang.
A black platform slowly raised from the ground a few feet away from them. On top of the platform stood Chang'e with her moon rabbit in her arms. "If you all can defeat my little moon rabbit, I will grant all of you freedom. But if you all fail, you will all stay here for the rest of eternity!"
The moon rabbit jumped out of her arms and transformed into a large, overgrown beast that had to be at least 13 feet tall. Its eyes glowed yellow and it had razor sharp fangs. The rabbit growled and brandished its claws.
Moon ran ahead first. "This is not the type of revolt that I was looking for, but this'll do! Precure! Waxing Crescent!"
Her katana materialized in her hands and she jumped up, aiming for the mutant moon rabbit. Soon, the rest of the Precure ran forward to join her.
The mutant moon rabbit proved to be a formidable opponent. With just a flick of its wrist, it swatted multiple Precure away as if they were little flies. Others were blown away by its growl. They were all to the point of exhaustion due to having fought each other not so long ago. They never had any chance to rest. Their bodies were screaming at them to take a break. But they kept marching on.
"We are all going to make it out together!" They kept on telling each other.
Whenever one was beaten to the ground, another would help. They provided support for each other. Hard feelings that were formed from the previous fights were forgiven. And through their collective effort, the mutant rabbit was defeated, shrinking back to its original size.
"No!" Chang'e fell to the floor of her platform and stared at her moon rabbit, lying unconscious and defeated in front of her.
Sun pointed her pistol at her. "Keep your word!"
"You all defied me first by going against my orders!" Chang'e hissed.
"But you agreed to our new terms! So keep your end of the deal! Free each and every one of us!" Sun demanded.
Behind her, the other Precure stood in position, ready to fight. They were all past their limits, being forced to help each other stand and rubbing each other's backs in encouragement.
"We'll keep on fighting if you insist on not letting us go!" Cure Fortune from the HappinessCharge Precure team cried as she was held up by Cure Sunny of the Smile Precure team.
Cure Gelato of the KiraKira Precure A La Mode team helped Cure Mint of the Yes! Precure 5 GoGo team to her feet. Then, they smiled at each other before they stood in position. "Try us!" They called out together.
Cure Sparkle of the Healin' Good Precure team stood back to back with Cure Prism of the Soaring Sky Precure team. Both of their legs were shaking. Nevertheless, they kept the fire in their eyes. "We're ready for whatever you throw at us!"
Cure Moon of the Celestial Precure team had her arm hooked with Cure Melody of the Suite Precure team and they were both smirking. "We're coming for you next!" She yelled before flopping to the ground from exhaustion. Cure Melody quickly helped her up.
Chang'e watched as the rest of the Precure, despite their obvious exhaustion, expressed their determination to defy her. Then, she sighed and rolled her eyes. "Dealing with all of you has proven to be irritating. Fine. So be it."
Chang'e snapped her fingers and a large portal opened underneath the Precure. "I will keep my word. You may all return to your worlds."
The Precure cheered as they quickly said their goodbyes to one another.
The Wonderful Precure team quickly approached Cure Sun and Cure Moon.
"The way I defeated y'all earlier...no hard feelings, right?" Sun asked them.
"Are you kidding?" Cure Wonderful cried.
"We forgive you. We also had to resort to not-so nice methods to defeat the other teams," Cure Friendly said.
A couple of feet away, Cure Heart of the DokiDoki! Precure waved over to Sun. "Hope to meet you again!"
Cure Flora of the Go! Princess Precure walked over to Moon. "We won against your team but your team was able to rally up the other teams to fight together! Amazing!"
"We'll miss you!" Cure Marine from the HeartCatch Precure team yelled at Moon from the other side of the crowd.
More goodbyes were exchanged amongst the Precure. Then, in a flash of light, the Precure went through the portal back to their respective worlds. And as promised, they returned as if nothing had happened.
Random Fact: The plot for this bonus chapter has changed so many times! I like battle royales so I eventually landed on this plot after binge watching WWE fights on YouTube (ayyy, The Shield! The Commission!). I really want to see a series where all of the Precure teams fight each other though...

Since this is a bonus chapter, I decided not to make it long. But y'all did wait a long ass time for me to release it. Sorry! The busiest months for me are December, January, April, and May. I literally could not find any time to work on this! My bad! Anyways, I hope y'all enjoyed this bonus chapter! I lowkey feel like the story of this bonus chapter is rushed, though...but I didn't want this to be a long chapter. Still ended up kind of long, though. Anyway, the next chapter of Celestial Precure's main/cannon story will be out right after this!
Also, I changed Cure Sun and Cure Moon's outfits. I was just thinking about them and I felt that it didn't suit them. So check out Chapter 4 to see what I changed!
