Hello everyone! Hope you like the update!

With my backpack on, I walked down the stairs of the school. The last thing I wanted to ever do was go home, but I knew that I needed to. I was making more money from missions I was being sent on thanks to Mei Mei. Luckily, Yu hasn't been spending enormous amounts at the convenience store, so it sounded like everything was going to plan. When I reached the road, I saw a familiar black car and Kenzo standing by the door.

"Hi Kenzo." I greeted him.

"Hello, Miss Keitoku."

"Tsu is just fine, Kenzo." I said.

"Yes, Tsu. Are you ready to leave?" He asked me. I cocked an eyebrow as I looked at him.

"Leave? Aren't you waiting for Satoru?" I asked him.

"Mr. Gojo called me to take you to your home." He informed me.

"What?" I was shocked by this. Kenzo handed me a folded-up piece of paper. I opened it and saw the familiar writing of the culprit behind this whole situation.

Tsu! Surprise! Let Kenzo take you home. No arguments. You can tell me off later.

Satoru

I sighed as I looked up and saw Kenzo holding the door open for me to climb into the backseat. After thanking him, I slid into the comfortable car that had its heating on and got settled. I was enjoying the peaceful ride until my phone began to ring. I looked down and saw Satoru Gojo begin to flash across my phone screen.

"Satoru." I answered the phone.

"I see you got into the car." It was like I could hear the smile on his face.

"Why did you do this? I can take the train." I pointed out to him.

"I didn't want you walking in the cold. It's going to snow soon as well, so it's safer if you're just warm." He said.

"I think I can handle a little bit of cold, I am a sorcerer." I groaned.

"Just appreciate the gift, Tsu. It's nice to know that you're being taken to where you need to go without any worries." He reasoned with me.

"Is it nice for me to know or you because I'm beginning to think that you're doing all of this for yourself."

"And if I am doing it for myself, is that an issue?" I stopped to think about what he said. Was there an issue with it? Not really. Why was I bothered by it? Am I too independent? Definitely.

"I can't think of why it's an issue." I answered honestly.

"So, please use Kenzo's number to get you to places."

"How about sometimes?"

"Tsu…"

"Come on, you have to meet me halfway. There are sometimes when I genuinely won't need him, like if I'm going out into the city because it's easier to use the train than drive." I pointed out.

"There is you being logical again. Okay fine, just know that you can call him whenever you want." He said.

"Thank you."

"For you, this is nothing." He stated.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Anything." I bit my lower lip as I began to think about what happened on the mat earlier in the week. Satoru managed to have me overthinking all week, which left me distracted at night, so it was harder to fall asleep.

"When were you jealous?" He was silent for what felt like forever on the phone, but I needed to know because it was the only thing I could think about all week.

"The most recent time was when you and Suguru came back from that mission." He answered.

"Huh? Why?" I was confused by his answer because it didn't make sense.

"My God Tsu, do I have to spell it out for you? When he was holding you when you had that wobble. I don't know, I didn't want him doing that, so that's why I took you to the nurse." My heart stopped for a second in my chest. I didn't notice at all because I just thought he was being helpful and annoying at the same time.

"I…I didn't notice."

"Well, that's good. I'm also not entirely surprised." Satoru laughed on the other side of the phone.

"But you said that you noticed that I was jealous." I stated.

"I have the Six Eyes; I can see everything. But I also noticed because it was so obvious." He reminded me that I wasn't very good at hiding my emotions, but that was something that I always struggled with.

"Since you asked a question, I'm going to ask one, okay?"

"Okay."

"What happened with your mother?" Now, that question stopped my entire body. I didn't know what to say. Should I tell him the truth? Should I omit any information? He was getting me driven to my house, so he probably should have the truth. "Please don't lie to me."

"Okay. After my dad left, my mom went into a deep depression, but she also has lupus. Also, she doesn't like leaving the house, so she has a vitamin D deficiency, but she's lacking a lot of vitamins. I left school because Yu called me in the middle of the night saying my mother collapsed and was in the hospital. I had to go and stay with her and to speak to the doctor about her medication. We needed to change her anti-depressants and her lupus medication." I explained the situation.

"I didn't know." I sighed as I sunk deeper into the black leather seat of the car.

"No one does. After everything with my dad, no one sees her because yes, the shame, but because of her depression. She's also in a lot of pain because of the lupus, but since she won't do anything, it's hard for us to try and get her moving her joints."

"That's why you like to take the train. So, you can have some time to yourself." He said.

"Yea. It can get pretty tense at home." I admitted.

"How does Yu cope at home?" He asked about my younger sister.

"Well, she does go to school, and I signed her up for a lot of extra curriculars, so she's out of the house for a big chunk of the evenings. She really goes home to have dinner and go to bed. I know she's aware of what's going on, but I do try my best from where I am." I answered.

"You're doing a great job. Honestly, I can't think of anything else you should be doing."

"Thanks." There it was again, the awkward atmosphere that has come up a couple times now.

"If you need anything, can you let me know?"

"Sure, but I don't know what that'd be."

"It doesn't matter what it is. Just let me know if you need anything, ever."

My weekend at home was nice and it was the most lively I had seen my mom in a long time. All four of us walked to the convenience store and got something to eat. Seeing my mother walking outside of the house made me feel like we were finally getting somewhere. When I looked at her, she didn't look like the woman who raised me as a child. Her black hair looked like it was shining in the sun, she was always smiling, and her and my father were constantly dancing to songs together. However, ever since the day he left us, none of that happened and the only laughing that happened in this house now was when I came home to spend the weekend with them.

That evening, I helped Yu finish some homework and watched some TV with her. She enjoyed the movie that I put on for her and we cuddled under the blanket. Yu hugged her tiger tighter when it got to the fight scenes. That's when she asked me,

"Is it always dangerous when you go on a mission?" I turned my head to look at her.

"Why are you asking that?"

"I just worry about you." She admitted. Yu looked at me with sad eyes and I knew that she was thinking about what would happen if I wasn't around.

"You don't have to worry about anything. I'm always very careful. I'll always come home." I smiled at her. With that, she hugged me a little tighter as we finished watching the show. I knew that I always put myself in harm's way when I went on missions, but with every mission the Jujutsu community saw me complete, they knew that this family wanted to protect other people instead of killing them like my father.

I thanked Kenzo when I got out of the car and he reminded me to call him the next time I was going to go home, so he could take me. After saying my goodbyes, I ran into Shoko, who was just coming back from picking up a few snacks from down the road.

"Did you just get out of the Gojo's car?" She asked me as she finished off the cigarette that was in-between her lips.

"Maybe." I answered.

"Is there something you're not telling me?" Her eyes narrowed as she looked at me longer. Kenzo's car had peeled off from the side of the road – leave the two of us staring at each other.

"He wanted me to be driven to my house instead of walking in the cold." I answered.

"He? Satoru?" She clarified.

"Yes."

"I see." She smirked at me.

"What? What can you see?" I asked her.

"Has he kissed you yet?"

"No!" I quickly answered her question, but I could feel my cheeks begin to redden. There was a part of me that wondered what it would be like to kiss Satoru, but there was a part of me that wondered what it would be like to kiss anyone.

"Do you want him to kiss you?" I couldn't figure out how she could ask me these questions so casually, almost like we were talking about the weather because I was standing there feeling very exposed.

"I don't know! Maybe? But I know he wouldn't."

"Why not?"

"Because it's me." I said it like it should make sense to anyone, but Shoko shook her head – her brown hair following her movements.

"That sounds dumb. You should stop putting yourself down. You're strong, talented, nice, pretty funny, and are just a badass in general. Mei Mei didn't know what was coming during that fight." Shoko complimented me.

"Thank you." I thanked her.

"Honestly, I think if you made the first move, he would reciprocate it." I began to think about what she said. Was there really a chance of him feeling the same way I felt? Would that even be the right thing to do?

"I don't know."

"Well, when you figure out what you're doing, then let me know because I think we're all getting sick of the way you two just stare at each other all the time."

"We don't do that!"

Watching Mei Mei and Tsu fight was definitely something that none of us ever thought would happen. A part of me thought that my black-haired best friend would struggle with the fight, but Satoru stood next to me, and he looked to be excited.

"Watch how she's going to absolutely take her to the ground." The white-haired teen said.

"Who? Mei Mei?" Suguru asked as he stood on the other side of me.

"Tsu, obviously." I looked at Suguru from the corner of my eye and he looked at me with the same look. We were thinking the same thing, and we couldn't help it when we both smirked. The blue-eyed boy next to me stood with his arms crossed over his chest. I could feel his nerves and excitement from where he stood. His eyes were plastered on every move Tsu made and whenever Mei Mei got in a good hit, Satoru's muscles would slightly tense.

"Come on, Mei Mei!" Haibara cheered from a little away from us. I looked over to him and wondered why he was cheering for the upperclassman that would happily wipe the floor with him.

"You got this, Tsu!" Satoru cheered from next to me.

"What? You don't want me to win?" Mei Mei asked Satoru from her spot on the mat. It was no surprise that Mei Mei would always use any opportunity to try and flirt with my classmate, but we all knew that he wasn't interested.

"It's because he knows I'm going to win." We heard Tsu shoot back and Satoru immediately started grinning from ear to ear. When Mei Mei said,

"I see how it is." We all knew what she meant, but in true Tsu fashion, she was clueless to what was going on around her. However, I always saw everything that was going on with my classmates and I knew that Satoru wanted Tsu to win because he was making it very obvious with how he felt about her. We all were privy to some information that was going on at home, which made me come to the conclusion that he was trying to take it slowly with approaching her. Suguru and I spoke about it once and he said that he spoke to Satoru about his feelings for Tsu.

According to Suguru, Satoru explained that he wanted to be gentle with her instead of going for what he usually goes for. All of us knew that he was someone that got the attention off most females in the area, and we've all heard about them, but Suguru said that the way he was speaking about Tsu made him believe that he knew he couldn't do that with her.

"Just because he smiled at me doesn't mean anything. He smiles at everyone." I said to Shoko.

"Oh Tsu, when you figure it out, I will tell you 'I told you so.'" Shoko said to me and turned to walk towards the school. I quickly caught up with her, so we could meander into the school grounds together.

I was sent on a mission by myself for the first time and I was very excited to go. I arrived at an abandoned house. It was small, two floors. The house was the only abandoned one on the street, but no one wanted to live there because they claimed that it was haunted. Some said they could hear screaming coming from it late at night. I pushed open the front door and found that the house was left in disarray from the last owners.

The floorboards creaked under my feet as I walked around the downstairs. I didn't sense anything. My eyes stopped when I saw a photo of a family on the side. It was of a mother with brown hair hugging her son who looked about 7. She was hugging him from behind and her smile reached her eyes. The boy looked like he was in the middle of laughing and it looked like a pretty family photo. I hoped the two didn't fall victim to this curse.

When I walked into the kitchen, I felt a pull coming from the fridge. I opened it and saw a large red curse that squished itself in there look at me before it opened its mouth and screamed. It was an ear-piercing sound, and my hands immediately went over my ears. I quickly moved my right hand to grab the shadow of the fridge, so I could shut the door and put the fridge on the ground against its door. The screaming stopped and I grabbed my Damascus out of its sheath. After plunging it into the fridge from behind, the curse was exorcised, and I thought that this was too easy.

Then, almost on cue, an even louder ear-piercing scream was coming from somewhere else in the house. With my hands over my ears, I began walking into the living room and saw a curse that almost looked like a bird with its beak wide open – where the sound was coming from. It saw me and moved forward.

I took my hands away from my ears and moved to the side – cutting it with my blade. It began screaming again and my hands went over my ears to protect myself. The curse moved towards me again while it screamed, but I got out of its way before it attacked. It ended up sticking its head in the wall, so I took the opportunity to slice the curse at its neck, so then it couldn't regenerate and died. However, I was too close to the curse when I cut it, and purple blood came spewing out and covered me from head to toe. I breathed a sigh of relief and left, so I could begin to make my way back to the school.

When I arrived at the school, I saw Satoru walk towards the car where Kenzo was holding the door open. I waved at him, and he stopped long enough for me to catch up to him.

"Hi Kenzo, hi Satoru." I said to both of them.

"Hello, Tsu." Kenzo greeted me.

"Tsu! How was the mission?" Satoru asked me. He was wearing a grey hoodie underneath a black leather jacket and black jeans. He looked warm and good looking in his outfit.

"Went well. It was loud though, the curses were screaming ones." I sighed.

"That sounds like a pain. One time I-"

"I'm ready!" I turned around and saw Mei Mei standing in front of me. She was wearing a tight turtle neck sweater with a black jacket on top with black jeans. Mei Mei always looked put together, but seeing her in normal clothes reminded me that she also had a great body.

"Huh?"

"Oh, Tsu! Gojo and I are just headed out. How did the mission go? Are you getting better pay now?" She smiled at me. I knew she was asking me because she genuinely cared, but there was a part of me that wanted to wipe that smile from her lips.

"Yea, it was good. I was just telling Satoru that the curses were screaming ones. I am getting more money now, thanks for helping me with that." I quickly said. I hoped that I was covering up my shock of what I was just witnessing.

"Now now, I know you were raised better than that Gojo. The lady needs to go in the car first. Anyways, I'll see you later, Tsu." With that, Mei Mei climbed into the car and Satoru and I were left outside looking at each other. My heart felt like it was heavy and that it was falling deeper into my stomach.

"Tsu-"

"I should get going." I interrupted Satoru before he could say anything.

"Wait, Tsu-" I felt him begin to wrap his hand around mine, but I snatched my hand away and turned around to look at him.

"Have a good night! I have to go take a shower; I stink. Bye!" With an awkward smile and my shaking hands, I quickly retreated back to the school. I didn't notice that I began running up the steps of the school. Was I running from what I just saw? Maybe. Was I running away from my feelings? Definitely. Did I know what was going on? No, but it didn't matter.

By the time I got to my room, I was out of breath. I closed the door behind me and leaned against it before sliding down, so I sat on the floor.

"Ugh, you're such an idiot." I groaned to myself. My eyes made their way to the blue bear that had made its way to my bed. I shook my head, got up and moved the bear back to my desk. There was no point in having the bear close to me. Just like how there was no point in having Satoru close either.

Well...what do you think will happen next?
