Jane & Maura & OC

Jane Rizzoli loved her job, and she enjoyed passing on what she knew to the new cops who had just come out of the Academy like Vince had done with her and Frankie, but she didn't like some new cops who were haughty, arrogant and sometimes shameless and among this last category of new officers, there was a young policewoman who from the moment she arrived had a clear crush on Jane. She followed her everywhere, asked her incessant questions and paid her exaggerated compliments. Jane tried to remain polite, but she was annoyed by this unwanted attention and one morning when Jane arrived, she saw the young policewoman come up to her and say

"Hello Detective Rizzoli, you look beautiful today!"

Jane said unenthusiastically

"Hello Officer Gosson. Thank you, that's kind"

The young policewoman said

"You know, I admire you a lot. You are the best detective I know. You have so much experience and talent. Could you give me some advice?

Yes, to listen to all the police officers and detectives who have been there for a while and especially not to stick to their heels when they are working or when they are going to work! If they don't call you, don't go see them. Listen, I'm sorry, but I have an urgent matter to take care of"

Then Jane moved away and went up to her floor

Maura, Jane's girlfriend, became jealous. She could see that the young police officer had a crush on Jane and she felt threatened. She began to act cold and distant with Jane, to reproach her and to ask her where she was going and with whom. Maura gave her the cold shoulder to such an extent that Jane, who did not understand what was happening, had started to sleep in the guest room when she was at Maura's or went to sleep in her apartment. She loved Maura more than anything and she was not interested in the young policewoman at all and she tried to reassure Maura and tell her that she only loved her, but Maura did not seem to believe her.

One afternoon, Jane who was taking a break called Maura and said

"What are you doing tonight?

Nothing special, why?

I thought we could meet up, spend some time together. I miss you, you know."

Maura replied curtly:

"Oh yeah? And your young policewoman, don't you miss her?

What? But what are you talking about? Who is the young policewoman?

Don't play innocent, Jane. I know very well that she's hanging around you and charming you. Do you think I'm blind?

But no, Maura, you're wrong. I'm not interested in this girl at all. It's you I love, no one else.

That's it, treat me like an idiot. You know what? Leave me alone. I don't want to talk to you!"

Maura hung up abruptly and Jane really wondered what was wrong. She had always been faithful to her boyfriends and even more so to Maura. Jane knew that if she cheated on Maura, her mother would kill her on the spot and that Vince would feed her corpse to the dogs he walked. Jane was unhappy and everyone noticed it, especially Angela and Frankie who decided to go see her to find out what was going on and a week later, Angela and Frankie spoke to Maura several times warning her that Jane was sad and wondered why Maura was treating her like this and Maura realized that she was being unfair to Jane, and that as a result, she risked losing her forever so she decided to organize a surprise for Jane. She invited her to dinner at her favorite restaurant, gave her a bouquet of roses and made a declaration of love. Jane was touched by this gesture. Maura apologized for her behavior and told her that she loved her. Jane smiled at her and kissed her.

Maura said

"Jane, I'm sorry if I was mean, unfair to you. I don't know what came over me! I was afraid of losing you. You're so beautiful and intelligent that I thought you could find better than me, a woman less... strange than me... a woman who is like..."

Jane didn't let Maura continue and said

"Maura, I could never find better than you, you are perfect for me. You are beautiful, intelligent, funny and kind. You make me happy like no one else"

Then she said more discreetly

"And you give me pleasure like no one else. It's true! You are the person who gives me the most pleasure when I make love, I could never cheat on you! Never! You are the woman of my life Maura!

Oh, Jane! I love you so much! Will you ever be able to forgive me?

I have already forgiven you! Come here! ยป

Jane kissed Maura then the two women returned home and they reconciled and forgot the young policewoman who had no chance with Jane and Jane told Maura that she only loved her and the next morning, Maura told Jane again that she loved her passionately and asked her if she wanted to live with her, which Jane accepted after a very passionate kiss and Jane said that she was going to ask Korsak to do what was necessary to send this young policewoman without embarrassment elsewhere
