(Kou's point of view)

I couldn't understand.

How could someone as evil as Tsukasa, someone so vile and cruel and sadistic; manage to have someone- no, to have anyone care about him?! I sighed.

But there Hanako was.

Covering his brother with a blanket as he slept, his face was worried while he carefully placed a cool rag on the sleeping twins forehead. "You'll regret it," I said. "Not letting us kill him when we had the chance," I added.

Hanako gave me a grave look but I maintained a serious, irritated face as I leaned up against the wall. "It's not too late, I can make it quick," I insisted.

Hanako: "No way! I told you before, I'm not letting you kill my brother!"

Kou: "Are you kidding me?! After what he did to you, after what he did to Yashiro?! *Hanako looks away* "Have you seen her face?!"

Hanako: "… I-I know but,-"

Kou: "No- you don't know. Because if you did, you'd have let Teru finish him off when he had the chance!"

Hanako: "He's my brother!"

Kou: "He's a rapist! You should have seen Yashiro when we found her! She couldn't speak let alone even look at me! She was naked and bruised and bleeding and traumatized because of him!"

I bit my lip feeling overwhelmed with anger as Hanako went silent with shame, "Screw it, Tsukasa has to die!" I hissed grabbing my staf.

Hanako was quick to draw his knife, "I don't want to hurt you! But if you come any closer to Tsukasa, you'll be the one who dies," He growled with dark eyes.

"Come on kids, knock it off," Teru sighed walking into the nurse's office. The air, it's tense.

"Kou, there's no point in trying to kill Tsukasa." He sighed. "But!" "But nothing, he's human now and with his shoulder broken, he won't be able to do too much damage once he awakes," Teru explained.

I'm still pissed.

I shrugged my head, relaxing my body and Hanako's dark eyes softened back to his worried expression as he looked back at the sleeping Tsukasa. "And you, you better keep a tight leash on that brother of yours- or else I'll make it my mission to end you both," Teru threatened; Hanako put away his knife.

"I will… Now can you two please leave?" He asked walking over to his brother's bed side. "He's burning up, it'll be easier to take care of him without worrying about you two trying to kill him when I turn my back," He said changing the wet cloth on Tsukasa's head.

"Let's go baby brother, Yashiro's tired with a concussion; so you should take her home," Teru coaxed tapping my head before leaving. I can see it, Hanako's worried about her too. I bit my lip.

So why isn't he by her side right now?

Hanako: "Kou, wait,"

Kou: "What?"

Hanako: "Tell Yashiro… Tell her I'm sorry, for what Tsukasa did… For what I said to her yesterday."

Kou: "Why don't you man up and tell her yourself? Screw it, I doubt she'd wanna hear it anyways… This is so annoying. You broke it off with Yashiro but Tsukasa should have been the one you cut off."

Hanako shrugged his head. "Do you really believe you're protecting the right person?" I asked angrily. For a moment, it was silent. "Despite what he's done. I love my brother very much, and I won't let him die," He stated boldly with clear, sure eyes.

How do I respond to that? I turned my head, and without saying another word; I left.

Poor Yashiro.

When she woke up, she was a complete mess. "I can't go home," she said touching her face. "Not like this,"

Teru and I looked at each other, we both knew she couldn't go home looking the way she did.

And so.

"Here we are, this is my humble home," I cheered opening my arms. Yashiro couldn't help but smile, making me smile as well. I'm so happy to see her beautiful smile again!

Yashiro: "Thank you for letting me stay here,"

Kou: "Yeah, of course! You can stay as long as you want!"

Teru: "I texted mom and dad, they understand the situation. They should be back in a few days from their trip as well."

Yashiro: "Your parents are exorcists too aren't they?"

Teru: "They are indeed, it runs in the bloodline,"

Kou: "Did you text your mom already?"

Yashiro: *Nods head* "I did, I told her I'm staying with Aoi for a few days so we can finish a science project together."

Kou: "Alright, that should be long enough for your bruises to heal!"

Teru: "Ok, it seems like you kids have it all figured out. I'm leaving,"

Kou: "Wah?! W-Where are you going?!"

Teru: "I am a college student. I only drove back here because you said it was an emergency, but I have classes in the morning and it's already late. Seeing that Tsukasa is a human, I trust that you can handle the rest,"

Kou: "B-But,"

Teru: "It'll be alright, punch him if he tries anything funny. Give him that right hook I showed you,"

Kou: "Yeah, ok. Thanks Teru,"

Teru: "Of course, take care of yourself little lady. And keep an eye out for my baby brother for me too. *Whispers to Yashiro* "Honesty, his right hook isn't really that good, so you can sucker-punch him if he tries anything funny," *Yashiro giggles*

Kou: *Blushes* "HEY!" *Teru making boxing motions and Yashiro laughs harder*

Teru: *Waves* "Alright, bye-bye. Don't have too much fun you two,"

I pouted in irritation as Teru left. "Your brother's really nice," Yashiro laughed. His teasing is worth seeing her giggling like that. I smiled back at her. "Yeah, he's a hardass sometimes but he means well," I sighed putting my hands on my hips.

Her smile is so cute.

"You too, you're really sweet," Yashiro smiled hugging me softly, "Y-Yashiro!" I blushed with open arms. She's warm, I can feel her breast pushing up against me- wait, does my heart always beat this fast?

"Thank you, Kou, I don't know what I'd do without you," she whispered resting her head on my chest. Is it ok, for me to feel this happy right now?

I laid my head on top of hers, wrapping my arms around her; letting her sink in and enjoy the soothing comfort she experienced from being in my arms. "Yeah, of course. I'll do anything for you, Yashiro." I muttered blushing even harder as I closed my eyes.

Yashiro will be here for at least a week, what am I gonna do?
