I saw all the requests and comments and I knew I had to post again before the night was over. It takes me a long time to write a chapter so thank you for your patience.
Therefore, Friend-Ship (Second Half) Hanako's Point of View
"Do you like Friendships, Tsukasa?"
I only experienced what it was like to have a friend after I died. It was only in my form as an apparition that I met so many people I grew to care about.
But now, I don't think I have any friends.
"A-mane," Tsukasa whispered. I gasped running over to him as he struggled to sit up, letting out a painful cry as he grabbed his shoulder.
"T-Tsukasa! S-Stop, don't get up too fast!" I gasped pushing him back down into bed. "Wha-what the hell happened to me. Ah, w-why does my arm hurt like this?" he muttered as I placed the palm of my hand on his forehead.
He's burning up again.
"Haaaa, what a face you have; Amane. I haven't seen it like that since you killed me," He chuckled before coughing blood. "Here, drink," I commanded holding his head up as I gave him water.
"You're, you're human now," I muttered with a shaky voice. I hated it, I hated him. I hated what was done to him.
"So you can't just get up and do whatever you want. You're hurt and you need to stay in bed," I huffed pulling the empty glass away and setting his head back down.
Tsukasa: "Haaaa, I see. Teru must have used some kind of black magic to make me Human after Kou stabbed me,"
Amane: "… I'm sorry, I got there too late,"
Tsukasa: "Liar. I'm sure you're happy,"
Amane: "I'm not! You almost died!"
Tsukasa: "Not that, I know you're happy I'm alive. I mean that you're happy I'm human; aren't you?"
Amane: *Shrugs head* "Of course I'm not."
Tsukasa: "But why? Now you get to control me. And tell me what I can and can't do all the time; just like you did when we were kids… But at least we can be friends again."
I smiled, placing a cool rag on his forehead; I'm wrong. As long as I have Tsukasa, I'll always have a friend. "Go to sleep now. You're still tired." Tsukasa's head sunk in the pillow as he felt drowsy, I wondered what went through his mind. I'm sure he's pissed.
My eyes opened wide as he gave me a gentle smile. But why? "I'm happy, Amane. You smiled at me just now." He whispers gazing up at me. My heart breaks for him. "Of course I did, you're my brother," I whimpered happily.
Tsukasa: "Aren't you going to kill me?"
Amane: "W-Why would I do that, I went through all the trouble of saving you,"
Tsukasa: "Because I was dating Yashiro to make you angry,"
Amane: "!"
Tsukasa: "Because I took her virginity and did whatever I wanted with her. Don't you want revenge?"
Amane: *Looks away*
Tsukasa: "After I played with her feelings and hit her and forced her to do it with me? I knew she was vulnerable, that she wanted to be loved; and I used it against her. Don't you hate me, Amane?"
I took a deep breath, sitting back in the chair. "I'm not happy with you. You've always hurt people, you've always hurt me. Even so, I still…" I stopped unable to find the right words.
I nearly jumped out of my seat, gasping as Tsukasa weakly grabbed my hand, resting it on his chest. I exhaled slowly. The beat of his heart, the warmth of this skin.
"I love you, Amane," Tsukasa muttered before falling asleep. I bit my lip. Tsukasa, even after everything he's done. "I love you too, Tsukasa," I whispered with dark eyes. I'll turn you back, no matter what.
Kou's Point of View.
Sleeping? Anything but.
After Teru left, Yashiro and I ended up having a lot of fun! "You're not a very good dancer," I laughed as she stepped on my foot. She pouted pulling her arms away.
"It's because of my stupid legs! I won't ever be able to ballroom dance like a princess!" she whined covering her eyes. She's so cute, I couldn't help but laugh as I grabbed her hands once more.
"It's not your legs, it's the way you use them. My little sister does the same thing, just follow my lead," I smiled pulling her closer.
For a while, Yashiro seemed overwhelmed; and with the day she had I couldn't blame her. But listening to music, playing games and now ballroom dancing- it was as if all her troubles had gone away.
Yashiro's face lit up.
"See, you've got the hang of it!" I cheered as we danced. "Yeah you're right, I feel like a real princess now!" she giggled smiling at me. It warms my heart, to see her so whole, so full of life.
"You are a princess, Yashiro," I admired, her face flustered red, mine did the same after I realized what I'd said. "Ah! I mean, well- y-you dance like one! S-So you, ah," I shuttered pulling away. I stopped as Yashiro giggled, "It's ok, I think I know what you mean," she laughed.
I relaxed, "Oh ok. Good. Ah, w-why don't we eat now?" I asked. Yashiro nodded her head.
So I made it my mission to make Yashiro's stay fun and a half!
It was late by the time we sat down for dinner. Yashiro looked over to a bottle of wine on the table, "Oh, that's my mom's. Sorry, I guess she forgot to put it away," I blushed in embarrassment. Yashiro looked down.
Yashiro: "I heard it's good for taking your mind off of things when your stressed,"
Kou: "Oh, really?"
Yashiro: *Looks down sadly*
Kou: "Ah! Oh- if that's the case I'm sure it'd be fine you had a glass!"
Yashiro: *Looks up happily* "Really?"
Kou: "Y-Yeah! I mean, you're had a hell of a week, so I'm sure one glass will be fine. Oh! And I'll stay sober to make sure you don't prank call anyone!"
Yashiro: *Giggles as Kou pours wine* "Ok, sounds good!"
Good?
Maybe not the best of ideas. "Wow, you sure are a light weight, Yashiro," I laughed as we sat on the couch. I blushed as she laid her head on my shoulder, looking up at me with big, beautiful eyes. "Thank you, for everything. You're so good to me," Yashiro smiled. I couldn't help but blush.
"I'll always be good to you, Yashiro. I mean it," I smiled honestly. "Let's have a good night, ok?" I added cheerfully. She nodded her head happily. A good night? How about the best night?!
Though, I didn't get much sleep.
I groaned in irritation as my alarm went off, "Ok, ok," I muttered motioning to turn it off. Hah- what are my hands stuck under? I blushed realizing I was lying down with Yashiro.
The sleeping princess in my arms, her head buried in my chest. The only thing I could hear was the sound of my heart, why is it pumping so fast?!
Was it the beat of my heart, or the alarm that woke her up? Yashiro's eyes slowly opened, "AAAHHH!" she screamed jumping up. "I-I! Wait, d-don't freak out!" I blushed while sitting up as well.
Yashiro: "Huh? K-Kou?! What are you doing? W-Why are you in bed with me?!"
Kou: "Huh? W-Wait, you don't remember what happened last night?"
Yashiro: *Puts hands on her cheeks* "WHAT WE DID LAST NIGHT?"
Kou: "W-Wait, Yashiro! Don't freak out!"
Yashiro: *Starts crying* "Mitsuba was right! I'm such a whore, I can't believe I got drunk and we did it!"
Kou: "N-no, oh; Yashiro- d-don't cry! W-we didn't do it, and you are not a whore!"
Yashiro: *Looks up tearfully as she sniffs* "We didn't have sex? You swear?"
Kou: "I swear! Y-You see, I was-ah; I was really worried about you. So… So I sat on the other side of the door outside in case you needed anything. A-And you had a concussion, so I made sure to come in to check on you every half hour too."
"Then why are we in the same bed together?! A-And S-So close?!" Yashiro huffed with sad, doubtful eyes. "It's not because we did it! I-It's just that…" I started to say. I shrugged my head, feeling my heart ache.
"You, you were screaming, so I came in- but you were dreaming. Y-You were shaking in your sleep and you started to cry… I-I didn't know what to do. S-so I laid down and wrapped my arms around you," I explained scratching my head as Yashiro's eyes softened and teared up.
"A-And when I did, you stopped crying. So, I figured It'd be a good idea to hold you all night so you wouldn't have another nightmare. I must have fallen asleep at some point. S-Sorry if I made you comfortable. I just didn't want you to hurt anymore than you already have." I apologized bowing my head.
I gasped, nearly jumping out of my skin as Yashiro hugged me. "Thank you, Kou." she whimpered shyly. I took a deep breath. I guess she really doesn't remember everything. I wrapped my arms around Yashiro, embracing her tightly.
I guess it's better if she didn't remember- what's important is for Yashiro to feel better. For her heart to heal with her wounds, for her to smile like she used to.
Kou: "Of course, Yashiro… I'm sure you're probably not feeling well. Did you want to skip school today? I'll cook us breakfast?"
Yashiro: "Oh, right! I forgot you're a really good cook!"
Kou: "Yup, my parents are super busy all the time so I do most of the house work for me and my sister. Especially since Teru moved away. So what do you say? I think you deserve a day off."
Yashiro: *Nods head* "Yeah, sounds great! My head still really hurts."
I smiled petting her head before getting up. Yes, nothings more important than you feeling better.
I'll keep you safe, I'll make sure you're happy; and I absolutely won't let you die.
Creator's Note:
Hopefully this chapter is a win for everyone.
I kind of let it open ended so whether they fooled around or not is up to your interpretation since this chapter couldn't have smut.
