"Do you like bonds, Tsukasa?"

Bonded by forgiveness, pain and love.

And right now, we're bonded by skin as well. It felt nice, just to be in his arms. "I'm happy that we made up," I smiled looking up at Hanako as we lay in a make-shift bed. He smiled stroking my cheek as he pulled me closer to him.

"Yeah, it was horrible being apart from you, let's be together forever; Yashiro," he charmed holding my chin as he gazed into my eyes. I was sure of it, I loved Hanako; more than anything- and I'd do anything to keep him.

I closed my eyes as he kissed me softly, making me blush and my naked body felt warm with comfort.

I gasped opening my eyes as Hanako sat up, "Tsukasa," he muttered in a shaky voice.

I tilted my head, "What?" I asked. Hanako jumped up, rushing as he threw on his clothes, stumbling to the door frantically. "Wait? Where are you going?" I asked covering myself with covers.

"My brother, he's hurt!" he called before rushing out of the room.

How long had the two of us been curled up together? We hadn't noticed school had ended, the only aspect besides ourselves we knew were the rain because it came down so heavily

I ran into the nurse's office to try and catch up with Hanako; looking around with confusion realizing it was empty.

Where are they? The faint screech of someone's voice outside burned in my ears, so loud it pierced the roar of the loud rain. I ran outside, nearly slipping as I stumbled down the steps; "Stop fucking protecting that coward and let me end him!" Kou yelled as Hanako kneeled in the mud, holding his unconscious brother.

Hanako pulled out his knife, pointing it at Kou with dark eyes as he pulled Tsukasa closer to his chest. "Take one step and I'll have your head!" he growled as Mitsuba took a step back.

I ran over, "Stop, come on guys- don't fight!" I screamed losing a shoe in the mud as I got in between them.

It's raining so much, but I can hear my heart beating in a terrified desperation.

Kou: "No! Damnit, I won't stand for it, after what he did to you; he has to die!"

Hanako: "Come near my brother and you'll be the one who gets murdered!"

Yashiro: "Stop it! Kou, j-just let it go!"

Kou: "Let it go? Are you kidding me? You still have bruises from what he did to you and you want to let him live good and dandy?"

Yashiro: *Looks over at Tsukasa and back at Kou*

Kou: "You're shaking, and it's no because of the rain. Seeing him, you're terrified, aren't you?

Yashiro: *Shrugs*

Kou: "You won't be free of him until he's dead. So step aside and let me keep you safe!"

Hanako set down Tsukasa as Kou pushed me aside. "Stop!" I yelled and Hanako punched him. "The next time it'll be a knife in your chest and not a punch. Get away from my brother!" he hissed.

Kou punched him back. "Screw you! Are you seriously protecting the guy who raped and torched your girlfriend?! Look at her! How traumatized she is from seeing him after he assaulted her!" Kou yelled.

He's right.

I looked down as they argued, looking down at Tsukasa who laid down bloody and bruised. I hate him. Everything felt like it went in slow motion, I wasn't ready to see him again. That monster who ruined me, I could almost feel the torture all over again.

My eyes went dark.

I didn't even realize I had picked up Kou's staff, pulling it back before launching it toward Tsukasa's head. "Yashiro!" Hanako gasped grabbing it. The sound of his voice snapped me out of my trance, his eyes full of betrayal.

"I-I'm s-sorry." I muttered in a confused state of disarray. "What the hell?" He yelled throwing the staff on the ground. Everything feels fuzzy, what was I doing? Kou pulled me away from him, realizing I had lost myself.

"Just get the hell out of here, if I ever see you or your brother again..." Kou growled as Hanako stood in front of his twin. Hanko held his knife with dark eyes, "Let's go, Yashiro, Mitsuba," Kou huffed pulling me away.

I couldn't understand, my main was everywhere. "You don't have to do it, Yashiro," Kou muttered under his breath. "I'll kill him myself, so you won't bear the burden."

Amane's Point of View

It was unbearable, the thought of losing Tsukasa. Just looking at my battered twin brought me into a frantic frenzy of fear as I stitched up his shoulder.

The way his body shivered uncontrollably from being out in the cold rain, his skin pale from losing so much blood; gasping from the pain of his stitche. Tsukasa had to suffer without any medicine for his pain- it hurt.

"Alright, the worst is over, you'll probably be sore for a while," I sighed covering him with a warm body as he shivered. Tsukasa looked up at me, his black eye looked as bad as his busted lip- no, the blue bruise on his cheek was even worse.

The shivering twin cocked a smile, "Awe, I like that look on your face," He muttered with chattering teeth. "I'm sorry, you're still cold; I'll get another blanket," I said eagerly running to dig in the nurse's closet. "You saved me again, why?" Tsukasa asked.

I looked around the closet, "Because you're my brother. I'm not going to let anyone kill you- I told you that before," I huffed feeling annoyed.

Tsukasa: "Your friend Kou's not going to stop until he kills me"-

Amane: "He's not my friend, and I won't let him. I won't let anyone kill you!"

Tsukasa: "Why not? I'm mortal now, I'll die one day anyways,"

Amane: "Don't say that! I'm going to find a way to turn you back!"

Tsukasa: "Aren't you afraid? That I'll just be the same Tsukasa who hurts people?"

Amane: "I'm more afraid of you dying,"

I pulled a blanket out from on top of the closet, "You're going to learn to be good from now on. That way when you're an apparition again; you won't hurt anyone," I explained pulling the warm sheet over him. "Hmmm? And how will you do that?" he asked curiously as I dried his hair with a towel.

I took a deep breath, "I don't know yet, Tsukasa," I sighed resting my head on his. Why does my chest hurt so much? Aren't you happy? You get to watch me grow up now," he whispered.

"And I'd have to watch you die again. I can't handle that," I whispered back. "I thought it might be ok if you were human. That it'd be easier to make sure you couldn't hurt other people but… You're not strong enough to stop people from hurting you," I added.

Why do I feel angry? "I rather you be an apparition so you can protect yourself instead of you being so vulnerable all the time," I growled biting my lip as I stood up. Tsukasa looked up at me as he smirked, "Awe, do you really think I'm weak like this?" He exclaimed.

Tsukasa: "I only let them beat me up so I could see the look on their faces. The kind that said 'I want to kill you,' Awe, you should have seen the look in Kou's eyes, it was so much fun,"

Amane: "You can't do that Tsukasa! Don't do anything to get yourself hurt or killed!"

Tsukasa: "Why not? It's fun,"

Amane: "Because I love you!"

Tsukasa "…"

Amane: "I love you, and I always want you to be around; and you can't be my brother if you're dead!"

"Tsukasa: *Smiles*

"I don't care if I'm human or not, Amane. As long as you're always with me, I'll be happy," Tsukasa smiled warmly. Why does my heart bleed? Shaking as I felt myself cry, I turned my head as his cold hand stroked my face.

"I will, Tsukasa; I'll always be your brother. I'll always be by your side," I promised wrapping my arms around him. He's so cold. I don't want to see the day Tsukasa dies.

"Don't cry, Amane. I love you, so don't cry," he coddled as I hugged him. I'm sure of it, no matter what; I'll make sure Tsukasa is an apparition again.

Teru's Point of View-

The bond Tsukasa and Amane have is unorthodox, but as strong. I understood the need to protect a younger brother.

"Teru," Kou called. "You need my help again, Tsukasa I'm assuming," I said folding my legs as I sat back in my chair. The sound of rain was loud in the background of the phone call.

I listened as Kou explained his frustrating day in thick detail. "I'll be there tomorrow, just try to keep your distance until then," I explained.

My face turned dark.

I warned Hanako if anyone touched a hair on my brother's face, I'd end them both. I opened a box, lifting a back seal with red writing which once belonged to Tsukasa. I smiled, "I have something you want."

Kou: "What is it?"

Teru: *Smirks* "Amane's Yorishiro, I took from Tsukasa when I turned him human."

Kou: "I don't get it, why do you need that?"

Teru: "This seal can save Yashiro's life by turning her into Amane's Yorishiro. What do you think, brother?"
