Chapter Fourteen: The New Copilot

"Come on, Charity, we're running late!" Jan the sexy young pilot was in a big hurry to get to his shiny rocket and take off. It was a bright chilly morning in Greenland, and the sky was a perfect blue.

"I'm coming, Jan!" Charity Bentham made a big show of rubbing her sleepy green eyes. The Beta-minus acted as though she were still a bit sluggish after a long night of sex with the two pilots, but in truth the clever redhead was lagging behind for a reason.

"Psst! Charity, over here!" Dr. Beddington was all muffled up in furs, her face completely hidden by the hood of her parka. Charity quickly slipped her the security badge and the keys that she'd lifted from Jan and Dean early that morning. Both pilots had been sound asleep at the time, worn out by a night with Charity. Having two men at once had been great fun, though Jan kept singing a silly song about a far-off city with "two girls for every boy."

"Good morning, Dean!" Charity actually liked the curly-haired copilot better than the stuck-up blonde captain. Climbing aboard the rocket she gave Dean a cheerful smile and a good-morning kiss, a sexy display to make Jan extra jealous. "Oh, Ford! I forgot to check whether Dr. Carlton's crate of specimens was safely tied down in the baggage compartment. Dean, can you go and see?"

"I can't fly this rocket alone," Jan grumbled, not liking the delay. The stuck-up pilot began switching on the powerful rocket engines, looking totally at home in the captain's cockpit.

"Well, why don't I stay here and keep you company for a minute?" Charity's sexy baby voice captured Jan's attention the moment she plunked her perfectly rounded bottom into the copilot's chair. "I sent Dean back into the baggage compartment for a reason."

"And what reason would that be?" Jan was vain. He thought he knew exactly what Charity had in mind. The two of them started kissing, and then the little redhead slapped him right in the face!

"What did you do that for?" Jan jumped to his feet, one hand on his stinging cheek. No girl had ever said no to him before! And then all of a sudden Dr. Edith Beddington and a gigantic male in furs marched into the cockpit.

"Well done, Charity dear." The tall, slim, Alpha-Plus lady scientist pushed back the hood of her parka, revealing golden hair and the most magnetic blue eyes. "Captain, there's been a slight change of plan. I'm afraid this rocket is not going back to London."

There was a bit of a scuffle, and Charity joined in with tying Jan up and putting him safely in the baggage compartment with Dean. Bjorn Hellborn would watch over them, and they were not likely to try anything. The two pilots were both afraid of the big beast-man.

"Do you really know how to fly this thing?" Charity asked, in a breathless voice. The plan had gone splendidly, but now that they were about to take off she suddenly felt a bit weak in the knees.

"Well, I can't do it alone." Dr. Beddington sounded perfectly calm. The engines came roaring to life at the touch of her finger. "Sit down, you silly girl. It's time you learned how to copilot a rocket!"
