"Protected by Neptune. The outer planet of the sea." I announced. "Guardian of the deep sea. I am Sailor Neptune!"

"Protected by Uranus. The outer planet of the wind." Uranus declared. "Guardian of the Heavens. I am Sailor Uranus!"

"Sailor Neptune…" Sailor Moon trailed off, "And Sailor Uranus?"

"No way, what's going on?" Venus wondered. "Are you new Guardians?"

"That is on a need to know basis." I said, "You are not privy to such matters." I lifted my Deep Aqua Mirror as I spoke, holding it to my chest.

"I recognise that Hand Mirror!" Chibi-Moon gasped, "It's a Talisman!" The other Inner Guardians gasped.

"A Talisman?" Sailor Moon wondered.

"Are you sure Chibi-Moon?" Tuxedo Mask questioned. "That's what it is?" The small girl's hands snapped over her mouth.

"Hello there little Usagi." I greeted softly with a gentle smile, "What a coincidence that we meet again."

"Does that mean you're the ones who made us have the same nightmare?" Mars demanded. "About collecting the Talismans?"

"Nightmare?" Uranus muttered. "I see, so you're all starting to feel it as well. Your dreams of Talismans are dark premonitions."

"If you know something you need to tell us." Mercury stated, "What's this looming disaster all about?"

"Don't get the wrong idea, we have no intention of teaming up with any of you."

"But, just now, you helped us." Sailor Moon said.

"Saving you once does not mean we're friends." I handed Uranus my Mirror who took it reverently.

"Wait!" Mercury called, "You're clearly after the Death Busters, same as we are. Can you tell us about them? Who are they?"

"I must restate, you aren't privy to such information." I said as I waved my hand in a straight line in front of me, palm facing downward. As I did, an icy set of piano keys appeared in front of me, hovering in the air and made entirely of the moisture in the air. I poisoned my hands, and I started to play. The Moisture in the air created soundwaves that shot towards the other Sailor Guardians.

"Is it you two?" Tuxedo Mask asked over the soundwaves, "The destruction! Are you the cause of it? Answer me!" Uranus lifted one of her hands.

"World Shaking!" She shouted, sending her attack in tandem with mine. The attack exploded in front of them, which gave Uranus and I the opportunity to escape. We cancelled our transformations and managed to sneak back up to Haruka's condo. Haruka collapsed into her couch, prompting me to crawl onto the plush surface and lay my head in her lap, my eyes sliding closed. I felt Haruka's hand gently running through my hair. "Well, that was eventful." Haruka commented,

"Eventful was an understatement." I chuckled. "Though I am kind of mad that I didn't get to finish my piece. I've been working so hard on it."

"Did you want to play it for me?"

"Not right now. I kinda just want to get out of this dress and relax."

"Why don't you go and change?" Haruka suggested softly. "You can stay here tonight, for protection." I chuckled.

"Protection?" I repeated. I sat up, pushing my hair behind my ear. "Or are you just wanting me close?"

"What if it's just a little of both?" I lent forward and smiled.

"Next time, just tell me, you don't need to be so coy about it. After all, we've been together for eons."

"Ok, ok." Haruka cupped my cheek. "Next time, I'll be entirely honest with you." My eyes fluttered closed as mine and Haruka's lips met in a delicate kiss.

TIMESKIP

Having a free period, Haruka and I wandered the halls of Mugen. We eventually spotted one of the Inner Guardians, Mercury's everyday persona, Ami, sneaking downstairs. Should we follow?" I asked softly. Haruka gave a small hum of agreement. We watched as Ami was captured by one of our enemies, a Death Buster, and was hauled back up to the computer labs. Haruka flicked off the main power switch before we knocked out the two student sentries guarding the door.

"That's enough." Haruka ordered.

"Class is over now." I added.

"Haruka? Umi?" Ami asked softly.

"Who are you?" The Death Buster demanded. Ami stood quickly and opened her wristwatch, talking into it as she raced to a window.

"What is it, Ami?" A voice asked.

"Just as we suspected! The Death Busters control Mugen Academy!"

"You're not getting away!" The Death Buster lady shouted. We watched as Ami launched herself out the window.

"Mercury Planet Power!" Ami shouted. "Make Up!" The Death Buster jumped out the window as well. Haruka and I walked up to the opening and peered down to the courtyard. Mercury burst from the pool. "Protected by Mercury, the planet of Water, Guardian of Wisdom! I am Sailor Mercury!"

"Oh don't get so darn high-and-mighty miss genius!" The Death Buster snarled. "I knew who you were. And you're no match for me! I'm Viluy, Level 202!" Mercury attacked, but Viluy managed to dodge easily, and encased Mercury in a ball of what seemed to be computer code. Suddenly, fire and lightning descended on Viluy as the other Inner Scouts arrived. Venus caught Mercury easily, helping the blue-haired girl to her feet. "Daimon's! Attack!" Viluy ordered. Two eggs appeared above unconscious students, and turned them into massive Atavisims, hulking brains that landed behind Viluy. Haruka and I nodded at each other and lept out the window, landing in front of the Sailor Guardians.

"I guess we're gonna have to transfer again." Haruka commented.

"Too bad, I was hoping we'd graduate this year." I replied.

"Haruka!" Sailor Moon gasped.

"Umi?" Mars echoed. We pulled out our Transformation Pens, gripping them tight.

"Ready Umi?" Haruka asked.

"Ready." I replied.

"Uranus Planet Power!" Haruka shouted, lifting her pen,

"Neptune Planet Power!" I echoed, raising my own pen,

"Make UP!" Water started to surround me, wrapping around my legs, arms and torso to create my pale blue heeled pointed pumps, with a strap that wrapped around my calves and stopped just under my knees, my white gloves that stopped midway past my forearms, with a pale blue cuff. My skirt appeared on the main body of my suit, it was a pale teal that matched the cape that appeared on my shoulders. A pale blue bow appeared at the back of my skirt, and one on my chest that was held together by a pale teal broach. My necklace was a strip of teal fabric with a clamshell resting on the front. Neptune's planetary symbol appeared on my forehead, which turned into my tiara, which was mainly gold with a pale teal gem in its centre. A light appeared in front of me, and my Deep Aqua Mirror appeared before me, I grasped its handle.

"Protected by Uranus. The outer planet of the wind." Uranus declared after she had transformed. "Guardian of the Heavens. I am Sailor Uranus!"

"Protected by Neptune. The outer planet of the sea." I announced, gently resting my Mirror on my chest. "Guardian of the deep sea. I am Sailor Neptune!"

"My Magical Tool!" Uranus shouted, waving her hand in the air, causing her Space Sword to appear. She grabbed it, "My Talisman! Show my power, and protect me!" Uranus lifted her sword into the air, "Space Sword Blaster!" At the tip of Uranus' sword, an orange ball of energy formed with a blue ring around it. She threw it forward. As it sped towards Viluy, it split into many smaller versions of it. Those became crescent-shaped and slammed against the barrier Viluy had created. The attack broke through easily, and they destroyed Viluy and the Atavisims with ease. When the smoke cleared, I stepped up next to Uranus. She looked back at me and nodded, causing me to smile softly. We turned to the Sailor Guardians who were watching us with wide eyes. Uranus dismissed her Talisman, causing it to disappear in a flash of light. We then turned on our heels leaping away.

"Uranus! Neptune!" Sailor Moon called. "Come back!" However, we ignored the younger girl as we left them behind.
