So second chapter is here. I rewrote it a couple times to try and make the fight scene here a bit longer. But either way, I hope you enjoy this chapter and leave any reviews to help me improve. (Also I'll try to make this between 2-2.5k words.)

And if you want to join my discord to recommend any ideas to me here it is.

A day has passed since we crashed and landed on this planet, and the area we landed in is a beautiful red forest. And so far, the rookies have not been doing well. Not that I can blame them. The simulated E.D.H. ended up going wrong by having an actual impact with a moon fragment, which also collided with the device meant to simulate an E.D.H., causing more damage than what was intended, making the ship irreparable. Due to that, most of the equipment got damaged to the point of being scraped. But the only good thing is that the fabricator is still operational, and they plan to remake the rest of the equipment we lost and soon make repairs on the ship. We only need the materials to make said equipment, and things should turn out well.

"What do you mean the core got lost mid-way through the fall!"

Of course. I couldn't help but sigh as this shadowing of an E.O.T. kept getting worse.

"And where the hell is Uliana?" Yelled out Heil, whose voice was already reaching its breaking point in frustration. I don't blame him, for this mission has already gone bad, but hey, good practice, as they say.

"Sister Uliana left to set up a hidden camera and motion sensors around the forest." Said Misha, who was currently trying to reattach Josiah's arm. *POP* "There we go, back to normal."

"Thanks."

"Alrighty then, since I got you two at the moment, and Josiah's arm is back and working, we can continue to salvage as much stuff from the ship before disintegrating it. He then turned and pointed to a random tree. "You too, Uliana. I know you're hiding behind the tree!"

"FUCK!" As Heil said, Uliana walked out from behind the tree. 'Good catch.' I nodded in approval. Soon, all four began dragging functioning equipment out of the ship, and Heil had Misha store them in the hammer space storage.

An hour passed, and they had managed to salvage as much as they could from the ship.

"Movement south of us! Hostile life form!" Alerted Uliana, all four instantly took out their weapons and faced the area Uliana said.

Uliana's choice of weaponry usually ranged between melee or her bare hands; this time, she used a khopeshmade from materials of a brown dwarf star, making the blade an unusual shade of black, almost passing for obsidian.

Josiah's weapon is a custom-made 50-round triple-fire energy rifle that shoots a conductive projectile that also happens to be very poisonous to the point that it may violate a few ethics laws due to its effects. Good thing we don't have them. However, I do have to admit he has good connections to get that type of weapon.

Lastly, Misha, whose main weapon was a staff. The staff had a bunch of wires and magical oddities on it, but the eye-catcher was the three rotating cylinders attached to the end of the staff with a glowing core in the middle. And if people got too close, he had a pistol that fired charged rounds, exploding on impact.

Then there was Heil already wielding his machine gun at the ready. The four of them waited in bated breath as they prepared for the hostile life forms to show themselves. A pair of bushes began to shake, and they got ready to attack, but only for a bunny to hop out.

"Oh, it just a-" "AHHHHHH!" Josiah didn't finish her sentence as Uliana charged at the poor bunny. The bunny, reacting to Uliana's charge, began to run for its life as Uliana gave chase.

"ULIANA WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING! GET BACK HERE! You two disintegrate the ship; I'll chase after our idiot." He then began to run after Uliana.

The other two turned to each other before they shrugged and set up the remaining charges to disintegrate the ship. Once done, we walked a good distance away and let the charges do their job as the ship disintegrated into dust.

"... Now what?" Josiah said to Misha, who only shrugged in response.

"Probably wait for the E.O.T. to return with our sister (In arms)." They stood there awkwardly, fidgeting with their weapons as they waited before I decided to break the silence.

"Ok, I know I'm not supposed to talk to you while shadowing an E.O.T., but why did Uliana react like that? And it better not be for the funnies."

"Oh, uh, there was a situation on another planet where she was assigned to care for some wildlife cargo." Explained Misha. Humming in interest, I signed for him to continue, "Well, one of the cargo had a shapeshifting animal that shifted into a cute animal, and she wanted to keep it, so she let it out. Since then, she has had trust issues with cute animals, and we had to physically restrain her multiple times when she tried to kill many cute, docile animals, like puppies."

"Really?" Said Josiah, earning a nod from Misha, causing Josiah to cackle in amusement.

"What did the shapeshifter do that made her so paranoid?" I asked, also amused about Uliana's reason for charging after that bunny.

"Oh, it shifted into bigger prey animals and ended up causing 70% of the cage animals to be killed by it, the mission to be delayed for another 50 years, and her to get into serious trouble. Which is why she's so overly cautious with cute animals."

"Huh, no wonder, welp, that's something Heil has to deal with," I said before going silent again and letting the other two do what they want.

(Heil)

"Dumbass fucking freshies, it's just a fucking rabbit, not a shapeshifter," I grumbled as I continued to follow the path of destruction that Uliana left behind. "I know you have fucking trust issues over animals, but the shapeshifter isn't a fucking native on this planet!" I continued to rant until I finally saw Uliana on all fours. Her face was opened up, revealing the flesh underneath and her exposed teeth as she was ripping apart the bunny with her hands and teeth.

"ULIANA! DROP THAT FUCKING BUNNY AND GET ON YOUR FEET, OR I SWEAR TO FATHER I'LL RIDDLE YOU WITH FUCKING BULLETS!" I shouted, letting out my anger as she wasted time chasing a defenseless animal.

Surprised by my sudden shouting, she jumped and dropped the rabbit before quickly retrieving her sword. But quickly lowered it once she saw it was me. "Oh, heeey E.O.T., how you doing?" She said, laughing nervously, knowing that she was in trouble. If my eyes could, they would be squinting at her in anger.

"Get your ass back with the others, and if you do this again, I'm riddling you in bullets." I scolded, and she dropped her head in shame before nodding and stowing her sword. Then, we began to walk back. As we walked back, Uliana's arm began to beep. Raising her arm to check it out, a small pad appeared, and she moved her fingers on the small pad.

"Oh shit, actual hostiles around us right now!" She warned and readied her sword. I readied myself and took out my machine gun. True to her word, a dozen of pitch-black werewolf-looking mother fuckers appeared. They also seemed to have bony plates and spikes on their bodies. "Holy shit, they look awesome! Hey, should we capture one of them for R ?"

"They would appreciate that." With a nod, she took out a device that, when used, would automatically bind any person or creature. "Hey, mind if I kill them all myself?"

I shrugged and moved back for her to do so.

"Yes!" Pumping her fist in excitement, she got low and readied herself to charge them, "You're all my prey!" With a burst of speed, she blasted toward them, kicking up debris and leaving behind a dent on the floor. Instantly, the first werewolf was cut in half. Hoping on its lower half, she jumped towards another who tried to claw her midair, only for her to twist around its arm and apply the device on it, causing multiple metallic wires to wrap around it.

Landing gracefully back on the floor, Uliana ducked underneath a swing and slashed at the werewolf's arm, cutting it before kicking the werewolf away. Sensing another attack from behind, she positioned her sword on her back as she parried a swing from another werewolf before giving it a back kick, causing it to stagger back.

"Oh, come on, guys, give me a challenge. All I've gotten is mediocre practice from you lot." She taunted, but the werewolves only snarled and continued to rush her together without a care of their own perseverance. "Odd?" Cutting another three easily, she backed away from one, going for a suicidal attack, which failed and also got it killed. It was right here that she also noticed how each werewolf she'd killed had begun to disappear into smoke. "You seeing this, Heil?"

"I am. I'm already recording for R ," I told her, and she nodded and focused her attention back on the werewolves. Getting on all fours again, she dashed towards them. Tripping one, she dropped a grenade next to it and cut the leg of another before jumping away to let the device explode, killing the two of them. Sensing another attack, she crouched down low, avoiding the swipe from the other werewolf before kicking it in the groin, causing it to keel over. Jumping on its back, to began to repeatedly stab it in the back while laughing hysterically.

However, due to her distraction, she got swiped by one of the werewolves, causing her to launch into a nearby tree.

"Oof, hey, is that way to treat a lady?" She said, chuckling as she stood back up, not looking hurt from that swipe. Perks of our artificial bodies.

"Not sure you can qualify much as a lady."

"Heil! That's mean!" She whined. The surrounding werewolf, however, didn't waste time attacking again, and all charged towards her. Seeing an opportunity, Uliana threw her sword away, grabbed another of her explosives, and dropped it near her feet. Once they got close to the blast range, she detonated it with her in it. Once the smoke cleared, Uliana was on the floor, cackling in delight.

"That was amazing!" She said, jumping onto her feet in excitement. "Those new beasts are hella familiar, but I've only seen one animal fight with reckless abandonment of its own life!" She continued to jump around in joy before finally settling down. "Ah... where's my sword?" She asked, looking around and not seeing her sword anywhere.

"I have it," I said, raising her sword.

"Oh nice, gimme." Before she could grab it, I pulled it back. "Wha- hey! What's the deal?"

"You abandoned your weapon. Now, deal with the consequences. Also, don't do that again; that was incredibly reckless, and those explosives may have done damage internally. We may be beefy, but we can still be taken down." I scolded.

"Ugh, yes, Dad," she whined, sulking.

"And because of that smartass reply, you are now in charge of non-lethal duties." He said, picking up the tied-up werewolf and putting it on his back.

"What! You can't do that!"

"Cry me a river," I said, beginning to return to where we crash-landed.

Uliana, now properly punished, kicked the ground in frustration before following Heil, continuing to sulk. But during the walk, Uliana received another beep on her wristmounted device. Raising the device to her face, she checked it before cursing. "Shit, natives approaching via airborne vehicle!"

Cursing, I signed for her to run for it as we began to rush back to our group.

While waiting for Heil to return, I watched Misha and Josiah pass the time by extracting tree sap from the surrounding trees. They started doing this after Josiah got angry at Misha for winning so many rock, paper, scissors games and tried to shoot him. He missed, and it ended up destroying a bit of the tree. That is when they noticed some red sap leaking from the tree. With a curiosity that would've killed any normal being, they decided to taste it. Thankfully, they would've been fine if they were normal beings since the red sap was a sweet, edible nectar. So far, they have managed to get 15 jars full of the red sap and a bag full of tree seeds.

Suddenly, Heil and Uliana burst out from some bushes before coming to a halt. On Heil's back was a tied-up pitch-black werewolf with some red coloring and bony structures.

"Alright, you two, we got some natives landing nearby, Misha; use your transmutation magic to fabricate a meteorite. Make the mineral composites of iron-nickel, carbon, and gold. Use that boulder over there to shape it," he said, pointing to the boulder he had mentioned. With a nod, Misha began to rush over to the boulder to begin his work.

"Uliana uses your cameras and mosquito drones to keep an eye on the natives and, if possible, find out what species they are." With a nod, some part of Uliana's back opened up, releasing a small swarm of robotic mosquito drones.

"Josiah." Josiah stood on alert, waiting for his orders from Heil. "Keep watch on the surrounds. Uliana and I did manage to find some actual hostile life forms here." Once the final order was given, Heil grabbed the snarling werewolf he was holding and tossed it in a random corner for later.

Welp I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I think I did pretty well and I tried to make the fight more intereting. But it's kinda hard to do many opposing perspectives. But still I tried. Once again leave any reviews in what needs to be improved. Don't worry if you're interested in the parts where some main characters from RWBY will get hurt or inured It'll come soon.
