Hye everyone happy New years! and I'm starting this ne year by publishing this chapter! Hope you all enjoy and please leave any reviews in places where I can improve.

P.S here my discord: discord. gg/txKqYfv6HN

(The day after the field trip.)

"Thank you, Mr. Winchester, and I'm sorry about the loss of your teammate. But regrettably, there is nothing we can do now." Ozpin watched the boy gain a pained look before nodding and taking the elevator down. Once gone, Ozpin let out a tired sigh as he rubbed the edges of his eyes.

"It never gets easier." With another sigh, he grabs his mug to sip his cup of coffee.

"Never does." Said Glynda, next to him. "But the way Mr. Winchester described the thing that grabbed Russel, it doesn't match any type of Grimm I've heard. And the speed he described was so fast that he could only see a white and red blur. Do you think this has to do with Salem? Especially with that blast of magic you felt."

"... No, this is something entirely new. After all," Getting up from his seat to open a box next to his desk. "No one is capable of creating something like this. Not us, not Atlas, nor Salem." Grabbing the item from the box, he picked up a perfectly shape sphere that was glowing a bright white light that was somehow not blinding. Yet, holding it in his hands, Ozpin can already feel the power contained in this sphere.

"This thing, whatever it is, has already improved Beacon's electrical and electronic facilities by 1000% without damaging any systems and is still increasing efficiency. Scrolls don't lag, the CCT hasn't suffered any minor or major errors, and least of all... Amber. This has boosted Amber's life support to the point that she's starting to show signs of recovery." Putting the sphere back into the box and closing it, he turned to face Glynda.

"Whoever these mysterious adversaries are, we must find them before Salem does. And get them to join our side. For these people may as well spell the doom to our race if Salem gets her hands on them first."

"Will you tell Ironwood about this?" Asked Glynda.

He briefly glances at the box containing the sphere. He juggles between the pros and cons of letting Ironwood know before nodding. "Yes, his team of scientists will be able to study the sphere more efficiently than Vale can. But I will make sure Qrow is the one who finds our mysterious adversaries first." Sitting back down on his desk, he prepares to call the general.

(1 week later with Vilman)

"HHAAUUUUGH! This beer sucks!" Said Uliana slamming her beer bottle down harshly on the table, causing it to break and making all its contents spill all over the table. "Whoops."

"ULIANA WHAT THE FUCK I TELL YOU ABOUT DRINKING BEER ON THE JOB!" Screamed Heil, who is now on the verge of snapping on these rookies.

The reason why? Well, first, let me explain what happened in the past week. When we arrived at the city called Vale, or Kingdom as they call it, They had been searching for a place to set up base and found an old warehouse that used to store alcoholic drinks. While setting up the base, Ulinana began translating the language, which took a day. Then she proceeded to buy the warehouse where we were staying. Josiah guarded the "guest" we had, which bore him. And Misha, once Heil revived him, was in charge of obtaining more constructs. But during his hunt, he ended up finding more constructs. And seeing R obtain them was like giving a child a new toy.

Now, why is Heil at his wit's end? Well, after the first three days, they were going well. Until Uliana decided to hack into government systems, including a special school called Beacon. That's when she discovered that the core they so incompetently forgot to retrieve was instead obtained by the natives. Heil was rightfully furious because this was not only a mistake made by the rookies but also himself.

"CAN'T YOU SEE WE HAVE A CRISIS AT HAND!"

"Chill Heilly. It's just a low-tier core. Plus, we can't get drunk. We're mostly machines. It's no biggie." She lazily replied, not shrinking under his fierce gaze.

"It's a Cranthium core." Butted in Misha, who was walking by with a new construct to turn in.

"Oh... Oh shit." She responded, realizing the severity of the situation.

"YEAH, OH SHIT! AND DON'T CALL ME HEILLY!"

"Heil," I said, trying to get his attention.

"WHAT!" He snapped before quickly slapping a hand over his mouth.

"Quit yelling," I responded calmly with a sigh.

"Sorry." Clearing his throat, he continued on more calmly. "Uliana, stop drinking and start finding a path to infiltrate the place to retrieve the Cranthium core."

"Kay, I'll start checking their cams and building plans to find the easiest path to get in and exit." As she instantly pulls up her holographic screen and begins typing away. Nodding, he turned to Misha, who just finished turning in the construct into the Crossing.

"Misha, good, just on time. I need you to procure more of that crystalized magic, preferably by legal means, to not get police attention."

"Ok, guess I'll just run by a store then."

"Wh- Wait, what?" Heil said, confused about what Misha had just said.

"Apparently, the crystalized magic is called dust. It's a weird name to call a crystal. Still, either way, they refine it into dust and use it for everyday use, like cars, electricity, bullets, and some other shit I'm too lazy to list. Basically, it's this world's fossil fuel and gunpowder. But clean." Heil would nod in understanding before turning to Uliana.

"Then Ulinana bulk buy a shit ton of this dust." He ordered, to which Uliana nodded again.

"Kay, what kind?" As she was still typing on her holographic console.

"What?"

"There's apparently different types of dust. There's... like nearly every single fucking type of element here. But there are a few odd ones, though. Like gravity, steam, hard light- ooo, that sounds interesting."

"Fascinating. Then buy as much as you can then." Uliana, nodding, began buying huge bulks of dust from a large company called the SDC. "Hey, Heil. What is gonna be our excuse for getting so much of this dust? This is technically considered buying an army's worth of ammunition."

"Crap, your right." Putting his hand on his chin, he began to think of a good cover-up.

"Wow, you can use this dust for that? OMG, look at those colors on those dresses!" Said a random female voice beside Uliana, causing everyone, including me, to go still.

'Oh shit, it's Ellie.' I said in my mind as I saw Eleanor kneeling beside Uliana, looking at her holographic screen.

"AH FUCK!" Yelled a startled Uliana, whose reaction to our unexpected sister was to give them a sucker punch to the face, instantly knocking her out. "... Oh shit, it's big sis Eleanor!" She said this time, more excitedly, before it dawned on her who she had just knocked out. "Oh shit, it's big sis Eleanor." Instantly going to her side to check if she's fine.

With an even more frustrated sigh, Heil ordered them to pick up our sister and lay her down someplace clean.

"Look's like things are gonna get harder from here on out," I told Heil.

"Don't remind me. I just wanna enjoy the few minutes I have before Ellie wakes up." He said with a groan of annoyance. "At least I can thank Uliana for knocking her out. Even if it was by accident. And we may have a cover for all the dust as well." Already seeing some pros with our sister. "Right as Ellie popped up out of nowhere, she said that dust was being used on some clothes. Ellie is always an eager fabric distributor and designer, so maybe we can use her to say that she's gonna use it to experiment and put on her fabrics." I couldn't help but nod in approval at Heil's quick thinking of using our sister as a boon.

"Plus, knowing Ellie, she won't waste an opportunity to sell her fabrics and clothing line. Hm, looks like our sister is gonna be a small boon for now." He said, nodding in approval of his own plans. "But back to more important plans. Misha!"

"Yeah?" Looking up from the floor, he was mopping where Ellie was knocked out.

"... What are you doing?" He said, looking confused about where Misha had suddenly gotten a mop.

"Cleaning Ellie's blood, Uli knocked out a tooth, see." As he showed Eleanor's molar.

"Ah, ok. Either way, once Uliana takes care of Eleanor, you two will infiltrate the school and steal back our Cranthium core. Got it?" Misha would give a thumbs-up before continuing to mop the floor. "Great! Things are going in order!"

(Later with Misha)

When I arrived at the school, I had to admit it was impressive. But I've seen bigger and better from the other worlds I visited in my short life. But I can still appreciate the architecture.

"Uli, where did you say the core was?" I said in our comms. Seeing Uliana's name appear in my vision, as well as a box with a line, I heard her speak.

"My energy reading is reaching its highest down on the sub-level floor of the school."

"You could've just said the basement."

"Fuck you, at least let me sound smart." She whined.

"Hey, you're the hacker, and you can't get any smarter than that. Well, computer-wise, that is, but overall, you're still quite dumb regarding other things."

"Oh fuck you!" I let a cackle out as I continued to make my way towards the school entrance. "Either way, I sent you a map you can follow, kinda like those video game mini maps. Should be appearing now." Right on cue, I see a mini-map appear at the edge of my vision

"Don't worry about any cameras. I've got them looped, and if I see any teachers or students on my live feed, I'll warn ya they'll be a red dot on the mini-map." She said, "Alright, you're clear, you can enter." With a nod, I pushed the doors open, which, to my surprise, weren't locked. But with a shake of my head, I go inside, following a set path on my mini-map Uliana sent me.

"I get that the school is surrounded by a forest with dangerous life forms, but come on, that seems a bit incompetent for a school that teaches... uh... Hey, Uli." Pausing mid-sentence of my ramble as I truly don't know what this school teaches.

"Yeah?" She responded as I continued to follow the path.

"What does this school teach?"

"Oh, they're a combat school. They show future fighters how to fight those constructs, maintain their weapon, do field work, etc." She explained, "They also teach more uses about... what the fuck?" Hearing her confusion, I asked what was wrong.

"What?"

"Mother fucker's are using something called aura, which is the fucking manifestation of their souls used to shield their bodies. Their literal fucking soul! Like what the fuck!"

'What the fuck indeed.' Thought Misha as he reached the elevator and saw that there wasn't a button to push; instead, it was a keypad. "What the fuck indeed. Are they stupid or something? Don't they know it makes stealing their soul easier?"

"I don't think so. Like hell, they use their soul to amplify dust. I gotta send this to R ." But I quickly interrupted her before she could.

"Before you do, can you open the elevator? It's only a keypad."

"Oh shit, right. Done." Instantly, the elevator doors opened, and I stepped in. "Don't worry. I already set the floor for you, so you don't have to press the button."

"Thank you, sister." Hearing a grunt of confirmation on her end, I waited in the elevator as it descended and heard the elevator music. "Also, make a note to R that the elevator music is the same music we hear in certain other elevators from other dimensions."

"Huh, I guess these worlds really are like copies. I guess the currently accepted theory is that these worlds are fictional worlds that, while real to us, are fictional in another world. Fiction in one world, but real in another. Like hell, hamburgers. That shit was made in a fucking place called Hamburg, and yet these people in this world named it the same thing. Or how about french fries? Or the other shit here. Like tequila, I'm pretty sure that was a specific Mexican word... I think? Misha? You still listening?"

"No, I tuned you out a bit to concentrate." I teased.

"Beetch." I snorted at her reply as the elevator finally dinged, signifying it had arrived. Hiding in the corner of the elevator, I informed Uliana.

"Reached the floor, Uliana. Any cams here?"

"Nope, you're on your own. Wait, no, I found one. Sneaky little bugger, it was on a separate feed, specifically in the administrator's office." Sighing, I peeked from behind my cover to see a very long hall with pillars on the side with torches, making the place look a bit dramatic. And at the end of the hall was a strange machine. But what caught my attention was the Cranthium core, which was placed near the machine on a pedestal.

"I got eyes on the Cranthium core." As I began to approach it. "It was placed near a strange machine used for unknown purposes. The natives likely realized that the core could spread its power wirelessly. And by the looks of it, they're using it to boost..." I froze on the spot as I felt a faint shimmer of magic in the machine.

"Misha? You ok? Why'd you suddenly go quiet?" Said Uliana, worried about me.

"I sense magic and not like faint ones like the crystalized ones. Actual full-blown magic."

"Really! Well then, I'll report it to Heil right now." She said urgently before going quiet.

Approaching the machine, I saw it was a life support pod. "Fascinating." Looking through the glass, I saw a young lady. She had brown skin, brown hair, a nasty scar on her face, and a white bra and shorts. "Did they contain you? No, that wouldn't make sense. Unless they did cause it and are keeping you alive to study you. But why under a school?" I said to myself, still having more questions about the girl in the pod.

"Misha, Heil gave the order to take the magic user with you. Alive." Said Uliana.

"Gonna be hard; the Houdini gal seems to be on life support. If I'm gonna bring her with us, I'm gonna have to patch her up with my magic." As I walked to a screen that showed her vitals. "And I don't know how she'll react to being kidnapped by an alien."

"Heil says you can use any methods to keep her under. But to bring her in so that R can study how different her magic is from other worlds. Oh, by the way, once you start, do it quickly. The machine has a separate alarm that I cannot turn off unless I want to disable her life support and kill her.

"And me breaking her out won't do that?" I said, looking back at the girl inside the pod.

"... Good point, disabling her life support in 3... 2... 1..." As soon as she finished, the pod made a hissing sound as the hatch began to open up. Instantly, the girl in the pod began to seize, and I rushed to quickly lay her on the floor and heal her with my magic. As the black smokey substance embraced her, her seizing gradually went down until she finally went still. But just in case, I kept the spell on her for a little longer until I was sure she was fine.

After half an hour with the spell on her, I finally let the spell go and watched carefully to see if she was fine. Her breathing was normal, and it was fine when I kept her pulse. She also had no fever. 'Good, now I can get out of here.' Getting up, I grabbed the Cranthium core from the pedestal and inspected it.

Cranthium core integrity: 100%

Remaining power: 9.8710012

Power supplying: 8332 devices

Boost percentage: 6.5k%

"Got the Cranthium, moving out with it and the girl," I informed Uliana.

"Copy, the elevator is ready to take you up." Nodding, my midriff opens up and reveals a compartment big enough to fit the Cranthium core inside. Placing the core there, I instantly felt the rush of power course through my body. "Brrrr, that rush is always a delight to feel." Closing my midriff, I moved towards the girl and lifted her up over my shoulders. "Let's go."

Well that the end of that chapter. Amber got healed and was then kidnapped by our aliens, Russel is imprisoned, and Eleanor is here which means code E is in affect. Either way I hoped you all enjoyed this chapter and I hope I can post a new one soon.
