Interlude the nightmare
I watch as the world slowly becomes metal all i can do is run or else i become a zombot i could feel the metal growing on my body it was so creepy it felt like water with ants inside. It felt like my worse nightmare of drowning with no land in sight. I run to tangles town and protect the freedom fighters and help tangle i was forced yet again to watch a good friend get taken over by the metal virus. It was heartbreaking to watch a normally reserved whisper cry.
The nightmare then goes to the fight between us and the sinister 6 and slowly one by one i saw my friends become zombots. "amyyyy!!" After seeing her turn i run around dissolving the virus watching as the chaotics become zombots. I watch as knuckles become a zombot. "Nooo knux come on you gotta keep fighting!" Growling in frustration I Watch as silver who was trying to get the last chaos emerald gets knocked down into a group of zombots. "Silverrrrrr!!!." I started to feel my hope fade silver was the one thing we didn't have in his future. I run over to tails hoping he had a plan and on the way i saw everyone else falling including whisper. When i got to tails I watched in despair as he had his arms trapped by two zombots i knew it may be too late but i knocked them away and looked at him. "Any plans bud?"
"I.. i ….. I'm sorry sonic i have nothing" i watch sadly as my little brother breaks down and cries as the metal virus spreads up his body.
"… tails buddy you have nothing to be sorry for I'm sorry i failed everyone." I let's some tears of my own fall as i rub his back not caring about the virus since we were both infected. I then heard the sound of an engine and looks at the shuttle taking off. "Eggmannnnn!!" Suddenly my body becomes purple as my anger takes hold and i growl as i jump towards the ship i grab one of the wings and launch myself to the window. "Eggman this is all your fault." I feel the metal consume my body but apparently the dark form let me keep control. In anger i smash through the window and jump in. "Why don't you join your creations coward. To think i thought of you as a father once." I go to punch him as hard as possible as a rift opens between me and him as blaze jumps in between us.
"Sonic stop you don't want blood on your hands." blaze said concern on her face. I started slowing down but there wasn't enough room to stop completely so i ended up grazing her causing some of the metal virus to spread onto her.
"Blaze no no no I can't lose you. Use your sol emeralds to clean yourself of the metal virus." Out of the corner of my eye i see eggman enter the sol dimension but was too worried about blaze.
"I can't i left them in the sol dimension. I can't believe you sonic you could have saved them and now you've doomed me." Suddenly all my friends were on the shuttle along with my family they were all chanting. "It's all your fault. You couldnt save us. You weren't fast enough."
"Stop please stop i did my best I wanted to save you." No matter what i said they wouldn't stop berating me. But i started noticing a sensation and a voice that started very faint but slowly getting louder.
"Sonic wake up. Sonic come on wake up. SONIC WAKE UP!"
