A/N Is the god Janus, a protector god that can see into the past and future using a tv show and a spell to maybe help out too much of a coincidence? Apparently going by some nasty reviews I've gotten. But canon where the Toth rod, never used but still with the power to separate a being into its weak and strong parts, the Troll god hammer, a weapon capable of injuring a god and the Dagon's Sphere being literally handed to Buffy is more believable according to the guest reviewer. Who can't seem to understand that swearing and calling me names is rude. 😁

Try being polite next time, than I might post your review. Just saying. 😊

"Of course I could be wrong and it's made of steel." Faith looked at the chakram. "But it's worth a shot, isn't it?"

"It's possible." Diana conceded. "But not knowable until actually used against her, there's no way that I know of to test for Adamantine, either conventionally or magically. And just because we haven't seen Gabrielle use any powers, doesn't mean she doesn't have them, she's also never been in a life or death situation since you were pregnant with her."

"And she's never going to be if I have my way." Faith took a deep breath and slowly let it out. "In my nightmare the first birthday she had without me was her third, which is only a few months away. This could be my last battle and going out taking out a threat that endangers everyone, including her, would be worth it for me. But then seven years from now she'll be telling a friend it was my job to fight bad guys and one killed me. Xander told me I can't just give up, not to mention, I can't go into something thinking I'm going to die. That becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, does it?"

"It can." Diana agreed, getting up and holding her little girl, who in less then six months would be twenty. 'Still my little girl.' Diana thought. "We need more than one plan though, we can't go in thinking this is all we've got." She told Faith.

"Yeah, plus there's the fact we have no idea what she looks like it or where to find her." Faith nodded at Jesse's comment.

"But we do have an idea on how we can find her." Faith grinned. "Look for crazy people or get a psychic to look at everyone in town, cause apparently both can see the truth of her."

Diana looked thoughtful. "Crazy people get taken to the hospital, I could check to see if any have shown up at Sunnydale Memorial recently. We could track where exactly they were found, she may be feeding close to home, so to speak."

"It's a potential lead." Mason agreed. "We still need a back up weapon that could injure or kill her. Brother Michael and his friend only arrived the night before last." Mason reminded them. "And were here for a few hours at least before she showed up, since they had time to sell a good pin, which could only have been done while businesses were open, finding a Magic shop, return to the warehouse where they took shelter the night before after arriving and cast the locator spell to find Faith. This god apparently arrived then, so she was say, a day and half behind them."

"She didn't teleport like they did." Faith realized. "On Xena the gods can transport themselves at will, all of them. Either it's a power she never had or her powers are limited in our dimension."

"Since her mind is affected by being in our dimension, her powers likely would be too." Diana agreed. "She's barely staving off insanity if the Book of Tarnis is be believed. If she can't keep coherent thoughts, what power she does have would be hard to use anyway."

"Because it takes concentration, focus, like with Magic." Jesse snapped his fingers. "But we have no idea what powers she does have control over or how well she can maintain that control "

"Whole lot of unknowns and this still doesn't get us a possible second weapon to use against her." Mason reminded them. "Or get us closer to finding her."

"I'll start by contacting the hospital." Diana moved toward the phone. "You call the Council and see if they know anything about any god killing weapons and where we might find them." She told Mason. "And you two call Xander and Cordelia, they can meet the Chase's plane and catch a ride back here. We may need them to help find this Abomination." She told Faith and Jesse.

"Also because they'll never forgive us if we go into battle without them." Jesse said dryly.

"And hurry because it's only a ten hour flight from here to England and the Chase's plane should be landing soon." Mason called after the two teens hurrying to find their cell phones.
