Creating Legacies Part I

Date: October 27, 173 BBY, Time: 10:15 A.M., Location: Brartal System, Planet Brartal III, Capital City of Varinal, Commercial-Industrial District

The air was thick with the sounds of construction as Chasin Momeoran stood with his wives, surveying the massive shipyard complex taking shape before them. The Brartal sun gleamed off towering cranes and mechanized scaffolding, casting shadows across the vast expanse of their 1,000-acre lot. In the distance, a few blocks away, their smaller planetary shipyard bustled with activity as it continued producing exploration and cargo shuttles—workhorses of the ever-growing Momeoran fleet. But here, this larger shipyard was destined for a different purpose, a grander vision. Soon, it would become the birthplace of their Ruby Loyal Class Passenger cruisers, symbols of prestige and wealth that would carry their influence throughout the galaxy.

Pulchra and Mugruco, standing close by with hands resting over their swollen bellies, exchanged smiles. Both were nearing 7th month of pregnancy, and they couldn't help but pause every so often, feeling their unborn children stirring within. For Chasin, the sight of his wives, each soon to bring new life into their hidden budding kingdom, was a reminder of all they had accomplished together—and all they still had to build.

Sahaz Lor with a keen eye for detail, pointed toward a section of the construction. "That area—if we reinforce it with specialized durasteel, it could house an entire assembly line solely for the navigation modules." she observed, her practical mind already seeing the most efficient way forward. "It would save time and resources, especially given the scale we're aiming for."

Chasin nodded, appreciating her insight. "Good catch, Sahaz. Let's have the engineers evaluate that. Efficiency will be key if we're to produce and maintain four Ruby Loyal cruisers roughly every 23 months."

Time: 10:45 A.M.

The group moved into the heart of the site, where holo-projectors displayed the shipyard's blueprints. Engineers and technicians passed by, nodding respectfully as they went about their work. Chasin's vision was gradually materializing here in Varinal, but his ambitions extended far beyond the borders of Brartal III.

Over the past eight months, Chasin and his wives had explored a sector in the Unknown Regions that had once been part of a Sith expansion plan. Darth Malgus himself had sought to claim these systems over a thousand years ago, only for them to be abandoned when the Sith Empire withdrew. Rediscovering the sector had been both exhilarating and demanding. They had established operational research outposts on seven of these systems so far: Varnis, Draxis, Krylios, Havron, Xeloria, Thalorin, and Verenthis. These once-forgotten systems were now part of the Momeoran holdings, quietly expanding their influence in the Unknown Regions.

As Chasin activated the holo-map, a model of the Xeloria system appeared, the junction that served as the anchor point of the newly named Momeoran Hyper-Way Corridor. Two new systems branched out from it—the Thalorin and Verenthis systems, rich in natural resources and ripe for future operations.

"Thalorin and Verenthis will give us the foundation to expand." Chasin said, more to himself than to anyone in particular. "The resources there… they're crucial, not just for our kingdom that we're forming but for the stability we'll need when we go public."

Mugruco, always perceptive, nodded as she ran a hand over her belly. "We're dealing with systems touched by a dark past, Chasin. The fortress on Thalorin Prime is a reminder of Malgus's ambition, and Verenthis still bears the scars of his mining operations. But the galaxy has forgotten about these places. That gives us the advantage." She leaned closer, her Bayern Blue skin reflecting the map's soft light, her gaze intense. "It's up to us to decide what these systems will become—a symbol of greed and power or something different."

Pulchra, always the voice of compassion, placed her hand over Mugruco's. "We're creating a future, not just for ourselves but for those who'll live in these places. They deserve a kingdom that stands for something greater." She turned to Chasin, her eyes full of both love and determination. "When the time comes, these planets will be part of our legacy—a legacy worth protecting."

Time: 11:30 A.M.

The final rounds of inspection took longer than anticipated. Engineers presented schematics for the next phases of construction, and Chasin and Sahaz worked closely with them to finalize the layout for the future Ruby Loyal Passenger cruisers' assembly lines. Though these cruisers were only a front for their broader ambitions, they would serve as a financial and political cover, obscuring the existence of their hidden clone army—a force they would call upon when the time was right.

As they wrapped up the inspection, Chasin's personal comm pinged. It was a message from one of his expeditionary captains, detailing a report from the Verenthis system.

"The initial mineral surveys on Verenthis Prime are complete." he announced to his wives. "It's rich in several rare elements and ores that will help sustain both our shipyard's productions. But there's something else—there's mention of a forgotten mining droid facility deep in one of the ravines. If it's still functional but it needs restoration but it could be useful for automated extraction; As well for the production of our company's own Production droids with the need to rely on outside sources."

Sahaz's ears perked up, her Cathar instincts alive with curiosity. "If the facility can be restored, it might solve a lot of our resource issues. We could have an entire operation managed by droids, with minimal personnel."

Chasin grinned. "Then it seems Verenthis has a hidden strength after all. This could expedite our plans considerably."

Time: 12:15 P.M.

As they made their way back to the main landing platform, the weight of the task ahead settled on them. Every rediscovered system, every hidden base, and every newly forged alliance was one step closer to the vision they shared. A dynasty rooted in the Unknown Regions, far from the meddling hands of the Core Worlds and the scrutiny of the Republic, was within reach. But it would require constant vigilance, especially now as they balanced the construction of a kingdom with the birth of a family.

The past month had been one of anticipation and excitement, laced with the occasional false alarms that kept everyone on edge. Chasin's 2 wives, Pulchra and Mugruco, were now in the final stages of their pregnancies, and each day brought with it a heightened sense of expectancy. They had all been through a few rushed trips to the emergency room already, but each time, they'd returned with only the reassurance that the real day was still approaching. Now, however, it was undeniable: today was the day their family would grow.

Time: 2:30 P.M.

Pulchra and Mugruco were in labor, side by side in adjacent rooms at Varinal's top medical center, surrounded by their husband, Chasin, and Sahaz, who waited nearby with an eager yet nervous gaze. The quiet hum of the medical droids and the soft lights of the room added a calming aura, though nothing could entirely ease the excitement coursing through them.

As the contractions grew stronger, Chasin held Pulchra's hand tightly, offering her support as the medics prepared her for delivery. Mugruco, resilient and calm in the face of the intensity of labor, managed to smile through the pain, her lekku twitching slightly with each contraction.

After hours of waiting, comforting words, and the aid of painkillers, both mothers were finally ready.

Time: 5:45 P.M.

A cry echoed through the room, a sound that made Chasin's heart swell. Pulchra's daughter, a beautiful and healthy Zeltron-Human hybrid, had arrived. She had her mother's warm rose-colored skin, with small wisps of dark hair framing her peaceful, contented face. Her delicate features bore hints of both her parents' likenesses, and as Pulchra held her daughter in her arms, she felt an overwhelming rush of love. Chasin leaned close, pressing a gentle kiss on Pulchra's forehead before softly touching his newborn daughter's cheek.

"She's perfect." Pulchra whispered, tears of joy in her eyes. "Our sweet girl…" They named her Rylona, a name Pulchra had always adored, drawn from an ancient Zeltronian legend of resilience and warmth.

Meanwhile, just moments later, Mugruco's son was delivered, his soft cries filling the room with vibrant life. He was a mostly Twi'lek-Human hybrid, his skin bearing the rich, unique tones of Bayern Blue like his mother, with twin lekku already forming, marking him unmistakably with the heritage of his Twi'lek lineage. Chasin looked over at Mugruco, whose eyes were bright with emotion as she held her son for the first time.

"This is Jarek." Mugruco declared with a sense of pride. The name was one she'd cherished from her studies of Twi'lek history, symbolizing strength and discovery—a name she hoped would reflect the bold life she dreamed for him.

Time: 6:30 P.M.

With both children nestled in their mothers' arms, Chasin took a moment to let the weight of this new chapter settle in. Their modest estate on Brartal III felt more like home than ever, enriched by the arrival of Rylona and Jarek. As he sat between Pulchra and Mugruco, with Sahaz standing nearby, he took a moment to appreciate his family. Each of his wives had been integral in helping him pursue his visions, building their small, growing Kingdom in the Unknown Regions, and now, with these children, their legacy had taken on an even deeper meaning.

Pulchra looked up at Chasin, her expression serene. "Rylona and Jarek will inherit everything we've built, Chasin." she said softly. "But more than that, I want them to grow up knowing what it means to work for what they have. I want them to understand our vision and to carry it forward with purpose."

Mugruco nodded in agreement, brushing her fingers over Jarek's small hand. "Our work in these forgotten systems, our rediscoveries in these ancient places—we're not only creating a legacy for ourselves but for them. They'll grow up surrounded by history, knowledge, and the understanding that every achievement comes with responsibility."

Sahaz, though quiet, reached over to squeeze Chasin's shoulder, her Cathar features softened by a proud, sisterly expression. "We'll make sure they know what it means to be part of this family, Chasin. They're born into a purpose, and they'll have the strength to fulfill it."

Time: 7:15 P.M.

As the family shared this intimate time, the Brartal sun began to set, casting an amber glow through the window. Chasin knew that with Rylona and Jarek's birth, they had not only expanded their family but had taken a decisive step forward in their plans.

The weeks since Rylona and Jarek's births had been a whirlwind of new challenges and overwhelming emotions. The joy of welcoming two healthy children into their family had quickly been tempered by the realities of parenthood, especially for Chasin and his wives, Pulchra and Mugruco. The soft cries of their newborns echoed through their estate on Brartal III, often disrupting the quiet moments they had once enjoyed.

The once peaceful home now felt alive with the restless energy of babies who required constant attention, feeding, and comforting. As each day passed, Chasin found himself growing more accustomed to the demands of fatherhood. But the transition hadn't been easy.

Time: 4:15 A.M.

Pulchra stood by the crib, gently rocking Rylona back to sleep after yet another restless night. The Zeltron-Human hybrid had inherited her mother's sensitivity to emotions, often stirring at the slightest noise. Pulchra, exhausted and on the edge of collapse, had spent hours soothing her daughter, only to have her wake again a short time later. It wasn't just the sleepless nights; it was the never-ending cycle of diaper changes, feeding, and making sure Rylona was comfortable.

As Pulchra glanced at the clock, she sighed. "We're never going to get through this without breaking, Chasin."

Chasin, who had been standing nearby, massaged his temples, trying to push through the exhaustion. He had spent most of the night holding Jarek, who, while generally a quiet baby, had a tendency to wail loudly when he was hungry or in need of attention. Jarek's lekku, now fully formed, twitched restlessly as he squirmed in Chasin's arms, and Chasin instinctively adjusted the baby, murmuring softly to calm him down.

"Don't say that, Pulchra." Chasin replied, his voice hoarse from lack of sleep. "We just need to stick together."

Time: 8:00 A.M.

Mugruco sat in the kitchen, sipping a cup of strong coffee while staring out the window. The sight of the twin suns rising over the horizon did little to soothe her frazzled nerves. Her blue skin and sharp, intelligent eyes—traits passed down from her Twi'lek heritage—were now marked with dark circles from the sleepless nights. Jarek had grown more attached to her as well, but his cries seemed to pierce her patience in ways she wasn't prepared for.

Chasin joined her, both of them silent for a moment, before he finally spoke. "I know it's hard, but they need us. We have to push through this."

"I know." Mugruco muttered, rubbing her temples. "But it's overwhelming. The constant pressure... I love them, Chasin, but some days I wish we could just get a break. A few hours of sleep would be enough to reset, but it feels impossible."

Chasin nodded in agreement, his thoughts drifting to their other wives, particularly Sahaz. The Cathar woman had proven to be more than just an ally; she had become the pillar that held the family together during their darkest moments.

Time: 10:00 A.M.

Sahaz Lor, ever the calm presence, stepped into the room, her furred face showing no signs of the same exhaustion that weighed down Chasin and his wives. The Cathar's sharp feline senses and natural agility made her invaluable during these trying weeks. She had taken on a role that no one else had expected: she was the buffer, the peacekeeper, the one who soothed both the babies and the parents when emotions ran high.

"You both need rest." Sahaz said in her usual calm tone. "Let me take over for a while. You've been running on fumes for days."

Pulchra and Mugruco both looked at her gratefully, but Chasin hesitated. "Are you sure you can handle it? You've been helping so much already."

"I'm more than capable." Sahaz replied with a soft chuckle. "I can tell when you two need a break. Take an hour, two hours—whatever you need. I'll keep the babies entertained."

Mugruco smiled faintly, though exhaustion still clouded her features. "You've been a godsend, Sahaz. Thank you."

With a silent nod, Sahaz gently picked up Jarek and cradled him against her chest, his cries instantly calming under her touch. Pulchra, looking at Chasin, gave a silent nod of approval. The couple moved away, leaving Sahaz to care for the newborns while they went to catch up on some much-needed sleep.

Time: 3:30 P.M.

By the afternoon, Chasin found himself alone in the study, reflecting on the whirlwind of emotions and challenges that had consumed their lives. His mind wandered to the bond he had been forming with Rylona. Despite the chaos, he had noticed something that had both surprised and delighted him: Rylona had developed an attachment to him that seemed more intense than Jarek's. Whenever Chasin moved away, Rylona's small cries would follow him, her gaze locked onto him as though she couldn't bear to be separated. It was as if she had decided, from the very beginning, that he was her protector, her anchor.

He chuckled softly to himself. A daddy's girl already? he thought. Despite the frustration that came with her clinginess, a part of him felt proud. He couldn't help but wonder if she sensed something in him—something deeper than the chaos of the moment.

As the hours passed, Chasin found himself becoming more and more attached to the tiny girl in a way that was both humbling and overwhelming. She had her moments of temper, as any newborn did, but those moments were always followed by quiet, tender moments of affection, where she would reach up for him, as though asking for reassurance. Each time he tried to leave her side, the baby's cries filled the room, tugging at his heart.

Time: 7:00 P.M.

The evening brought with it a semblance of peace. The babies had finally settled, exhausted from the day's activities. Pulchra and Mugruco, looking far more rested than they had in days, sat together in the living room. Chasin joined them, Rylona still nestled in his arms, her small hands clinging to his sleeve.

Pulchra sighed, content but still slightly overwhelmed. "I can't believe how much she needs you, Chasin. I knew we'd have to adjust, but this is something else."

"It's the bond." Chasin replied softly. "She just... she's more attached to me than I expected."

Mugruco chuckled tiredly. "At least she's not as attached to me. Jarek seems to be taking after me more demanding, but calm when he wants to be."

Sahaz entered the room, her eyes twinkling with a knowing smile. "Parenthood is a balancing act. It's not always going to be easy, but we're in this together. As long as we adapt and support each other, we'll get through it."

Chasin, looking down at Rylona, nodded. "We'll make it work. It's all about the legacy we're building. One step at a time."
