An: Heya. I'd like to start this off by saying that this is my first fic, so any feedback would be appreciated. Ultimately what inspired me to write was the fanfic Michael Afton: Outlived Purpose written by Particularlylargerat. Check it out. It's great. I'd also recommend another fic called Birds of a Feather by the author Cassiun. Its set in the same universe as maop but follows its own characters and story. Well about their fics. Now about mine. I should mention that not everything will be accurate to the canon lore. But regardless I hope you enjoy.

Disclaimer: I own none of Fnaf. Only the oc's are mine. Everything else is property of Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool

'Thinking'

Not in Kansas anymore.

Ethan pov:

Ethan Meyers, highschool graduate, was currently experiencing the worst headache of his life.

'Ugh, what the hell happened?'

He couldn't recall much of last night. The graduation party at his friends, being given his first beer, and then… nothing. Ethan remembered nothing past that. Right now though it felt like he was laying on a couch.

'Must've passed out at Eric's. Heh, who knew I was a lightweight.' Whelp, Ethan figured it was time to get up. Maybe find some breakfast if his stomach could handle it. As he began sitting up on the couch, Ethan came to realise one thing.

This wasn't Eric's house.

He recognized this place. The blue carpet, the red walls, the massive red curtain, the neon sign. Everything was familiar, but it shouldn't be here. He shouldn't be here. Before Ethan could even try to process everything, the door opened, and in walked the one person he never expected to see in a million years.

Freddy fucking Fazbear

He shouldn't be real. This can't be real. Maybe Freddy was just another convincing cosplay. Or at least that's what Ethan wanted to belie-

"Oh good, you're awake"

Nevermind, that was Freddy. Ethan couldn't do much more than stared wide-eyed as the leader of the glamrocks stood in the doorway, his expression one of worry. "Are you alright? That was quite the fall you had." The bear moved closer. He kept talking, but Ethan wasn't really listening. Y'know, still processing that a fictional character was standing right infront of him.

"Y-you're real." Ethan barely whispered as Freddy moved closer. The bear's expression turning into one of confusion.

"I do not know what you mean. I have always been real."

'No the fuck you haven't' Ethans mind was racing a million miles per second with questions. What? When? Why? It became so overwhelming that by the time he was able to formulate anything else, only one thing came out.

"AaaaAAAHHHH!!!" Practically jumping off the couch Ethan bolted to the door, startling Freddy. Ethan nearly tripped over the velvet ropes outside the room as he kept running towards the nearby hall.

"Wait, please come back!" Ethan ignored the bear's plea, finding another door and trying to desperately open it.

'Damn it, why won't it open!' No matter how much he tried, the door remained closed. Realising there was no point, he started running again. Weaving past the sparse amount of people, he continued down the hall. Only taking a moment to look behind.

And as luck would have it, just as Ethan did so, he ran right into someone. Groaning from his position on the floor, Ethan opened his eyes to another familiar face.

'Oh shit.'

It was Roxanne wolf. The keytarist looking no better than Ethan as she sat up, rubbing the back of her head. The moment she noticed Ethan though, the wolf's eyes widened, then her expression became one of pure unbridled fury.

"You!"

Just as the she-wolf began moving, the one person that Ethan had been trying to escape arrived.

"There you are. Please, do not run away." As Freddy stood in front of him, Ethan saw that Roxy had picked herself up from the ground, and began stomping towards them. Freddy must've heard her, because just then he turned around.

"Roxy-"

"Out of the way, Freddy!" She practically growled out, sending death glares towards Ethan. Despite her fury, it didn't look like Freddy was going to budge.

"Roxy, I understand you are upset but-"

"Upset!? UPSET!? I'm more than upset after what he did!"

"He was unconscious!"

His mind too numb from seeing two actual video game characters, Ethan couldn't do much more than sit there and watch them argue.

Unfortunately, Roxanne was still trying to get him, almost lunging at him if it wasn't for Freddy's arm blocking her. The bear grabbed her by the shoulders, firmly keeping her in place. His voice became stern - almost like a parent berating their child.

"Roxy! I understand you are not happy about what happened, but that is no reason to attack someone who is clearly distressed." Freddy's grip became slightly harder. "Now, I shall ask you once as your band leader to let. it. go. Understood?"

Ethan could see that she wanted to protest, but thankfully, she relented.

"Fine." She growled out. She gave Ethan another death glare before storming off, muttering what could only be profanities under her breath. Before he could even do anything else, Freddy turned around.

"With that out of the way, I must ask again that you do not run." He got down to one knee. "I do not know why you did, but know that I will not hurt you. I simply wish to ask some questions." He stuck his hand out. Despite the numbness, and insanity of it all. A small, rational part of Ethan's mind told him to take Freddy's hand.

So he did. With one pull, Freddy lifted him off the floor and started leading him back towards Rockstar row. Ethan could hear people whispering around them. They probably thought he was insane. They were probably right. Despite being a short walk, it felt like forever until they arrived back at Freddy's room.

Ethan, having begun to think more rationally, simply sat down on the couch. Freddy pulled over a chair of his own. "Sorry…. for running, I mean." Freddy simply smiled.

"It is quite alright. Its not everyday you find yourself in the room of a celebrity."

'True. But I'm more focused on the fact that this is a video game.' Speaking of.

While it wasn't on his mind earlier, Freddy… looked different. Sure he was still orange, had the neon blue lightning bolt on his chest, along with an equally blue face mask. The red shoulder pads, the spiked bracelets. Almost everything was there. Key word being almost. In place of the hard plastic shell was fur. Along with that, while his voice remained baritone, it lacked any static. It was another bizarre thing on top of an already crazy situation.

Question for later.

Focusing on the current situation, Ethan said, "Look. I know you've got questions, but Could you tell me what exactly happened first?" Freddy rubbed his chin, looking thoughtful.

"Very well. It was during our last performance for the day. Each of us were given the chance to perform a solo. Just as Roxy was beginning hers, a bright light appeared, and you fell onto the stage unconscious; beyond that you appeared to be unharmed. It caused quite the panic. But once staff managed to quell the chaos I brought you here."

'Gee thanks. Find an unconscious guy and the first thought isn't medical attention.' Ethan chuckled to himself 'More importantly, bright light? What could've caused that' He was pulled out of his thoughts by Freddy.

"With your question answered I suppose it is my turn for one." He pulled his chair closer "How did you manage to do that? There are no catwalks above the stage, so I am left to wonder how you fell." Ethan, no matter how hard he tried, couldn't remember.

The party, the drink, and then.. nothing. He knew nothing past that.

"I-I don't know." Freddy's stare hardened. "I really don't know! One moment I'm at a friend's and then I'm here!" Freddy's gaze stayed hardened slightly longer, and just as Ethan was beginning to doubt, the bear let out a sigh.

"I do not believe you are lying. But that still leaves me wondering where exactly you came from."

"Like I said. I was partying at a friends. Just graduated highschool, and we were celebrating the occasion." Freddy looked confused. 'Wonder why'

"You just graduated?" Ethan nodded. "But it is the beginning of September." Ethans eyes widened

"What!? But it was the end of May when we were celebrating!" If Dimensional travel wasn't already a big thing, now he had to worry about time travel.

Freddy, meanwhile, put a hand up. "Please calm down. As curious as it is, I am sure there is a rational explanation for this." Doubtful, but Ethan took the bear's advice. "Now with that answered I suppose it's time to notify the main office. It is getting late after all" As Freddy began to stand, Ethan stopped him.

"Wait! I got no money, no car. I'm in a different month. Hell , I don't even know if I'm in the same state!!" At that Freddy looked confused.

"You are not from Utah? And were you not just running earlier?"

"First of all no, I'm from Minnesota. And second of all! Well I uh.." think Ethan think. You can't tell hes a video game character. Not unless you want him to think you're crazier than he already does. "Because like you said. Meeting a celebrity, especially the Freddy Fazbear, isn't something I expected to happen today." Freddy looked conflicted, and so Ethan continued. "Look, just let me stay at least for tonight." Despite his pleas, Freddy said nothing. And the longer the silence grew the more Ethan began to doubt. But finally, Freddy relented.

"*sigh* Very well, but just for tonight. Regardless, I shall have to notify upper management of your situation. Anything beyond that is out of my power." As Freddy began making his way towards the door, only to suddenly stop. Seems like he realized something. "It I forgot to ask in the excitement, but, what is your name?"

"Ethan. Ethan Meyers"

Freddy smiled, "Welcome to the Pizzaplex, Ethan." And with that he was gone, leaving Ethan alone with his thoughts once more.

"Waking up in a video game wasn't how I expected the day to go." He muttered under his breath. He frowned, remembering part of Freddy's story. "Interrupted Roxanne's solo, huh? No wonder she's pissed." He remembered her self esteem issues, and on some level sympathized with her. "Maybe I'll try to apologize tomorrow." If she let him. "Right now though, I'm more worried about other things." Like two rabbits and an endo-skeleton. But that got him thinking. Freddy already showed things were different - who's to say that Vanny and the Mimic still existed in the this version of security breach.

Regardless, he was tired. "Problems for future Ethan." And with that he drifted off to sleep.

Freddy pov:

'Ethan Meyers. What a strange person.' Freddy stood outside his doorway. Mulling over everything he learned. The boy claimed it was May when it was September. He said he was from Minnesota when they were in Utah. Although Freddy found it hard to doubt him, given the circumstances of his arrival. There was still something Ethan wasn't fully honest about

"But what?" Freddy wondered aloud. He shook his head. It would have to wait until tomorrow. Right now he had other matters relating to Ethan to handle.

An: Aaaand done. Woo, like I said first fic so any feedback is appreciated. I don't have a set schedule so next chapter could be a few days, a week, maybe longer. But either way I've already got some stuff in mind for it. So see ya next time.
