The first light of dawn crept through the windows, casting a soft glow over the training area. Rias gathered her peerage, each member standing ready in anticipation. Typhion was already there, beads of sweat glistening on his forehead, indicating he had been training on his own for some time. "Good morning, Typhion. Hope you got plenty of sleep." Rias, She greeted him warmly. Typhion turned to her, his expression calm and focused. "Plenty enough." Typhion, He rolled his shoulders while popping his neck. "We will be having you face us all in a fight, does that sound fine with you?" Rias, Typhion nodded his head. "That's fine." Typhion, Kiba stepped forward, his expression determined. "I'm ready, President." Kiba, Akeno had her usual serene smile in place. "Let's see what our new ally is capable of." Akeno, Koneko simply cracked her knuckles, her eyes fixed on Typhion with a mix of curiosity and readiness. Typhion got into a low stance, one foot planted behind him, his hands wrapped around the hilts of the swords on his back, his eyes scanning each of his opponents. Rias nodded, her eyes sharp. "Remember, this is about testing our coordination and strength as a team." Rias, She then signaled for the sparring match to begin.
Kiba was the first to move, his speed almost blurring as he dashed towards Typhion, his sword aimed for a precise strike. Typhion parried effortlessly, his movements fluid and precise. Akeno followed suit, her fingers crackling with energy as she launched a bolt of lightning. Typhion dodged, the electricity crackling harmlessly past him. Koneko came in next, her fists aimed at Typhion with powerful force. He met her blows with his swords, the clang of metal against metal echoing through the training area. Despite her strength, Typhion held his ground, his stance unwavering. Rias watched intently, her eyes narrowing as she assessed the flow of the battle. She raised her hand, and a sphere of destructive power formed, ready to be unleashed. She hesitated for a moment, then launched it toward Typhion. He saw it coming and leaped back, the sphere exploding where he had stood moments before. "Good coordination, everyone. Keep pushing." Rias, Kiba and Koneko nodded and ready themselves again, Typhion spun his swords in his hands and took a defensive stance.
Kiba moved first, charging at Typhion with impressive speed. Typhion waited for Kiba's strike, then reacted quickly, parrying Kiba's attack by placing his swords on top of Kiba's, driving it into the ground with a resounding clang that echoed throughout the area. Seeing an opening, Koneko dashed in, aiming a powerful punch at Typhion. He blocked it with his hand, but the force of her blow reverberated through his body. He countered with a sweeping kick, pivoting off his other sword, forcing Koneko and Kiba to jump back and reassess their approach. Akeno, standing a bit further back, began summoning her lightning, aiming carefully to avoid hitting Kiba and Koneko. Bolts of electricity crackled through the air, forcing Typhion to split his focus. He skillfully dodged and deflected the lightning using his sword as a conductor, stunning Akeno for a moment. Taking advantage of the brief opening, Typhion's free hand began to glow red and drew back his hand. A chunk of earth lifted from the ground and flung his hand forward, hurtling the rock towards Akeno. However, Rias quickly intervened, using her destruction magic to obliterate the flying debris before it could reach Akeno.
"Impressive, your abilities are indeed formidable, Typhion." Rias, Typhion, used his ability to pull his other sword from the ground and into his hand again. Kiba, recovering from the initial clash, readied himself for another attack. "He's good, but we can do this." Kiba, Koneko, her expression serious, nodded. "We just need to work together and give us an opening. " Koneko, Akeno, regaining her composure, summoned more lightning, this time with a renewed focus. "Let's show him what we can do!" Akeno, Typhion rotated the sword hilts in his hands a couple of times and got into another stance, summoning his armor. This made the peerage worry, but they didn't let it deter them. Kiba summoned another sword to match Typhion's two. Kiba charged him, with Koneko joining the him. Kiba nodded at Koneko, who understood immediately. She cupped her hands, and Kiba jumped into them. Using her strength, she launched him into the air. Kiba brought his swords down on Typhion, who used his swords to block, leaving his midsection unguarded. Koneko, seeing the opportunity, pushed off the ground with all her might and pulled her fists to her sides. Kiba used the momentum to flip over Typhion and land behind him. By the time Typhion realized what was happening, it was too late. Koneko was already upon him. She used all her strength and punched him in the abdomen, causing him to groan loudly. He dropped his swords, he clasped them together then he brought his arms down, slamming them into her head, dazing her. Typhion then kicked her away, sending her rolling until she came to a halt. Kiba, seeing this, acted quickly. He swung his swords at Typhion, who dropped his own swords and grabbed Kiba's wrists, catching him severely off guard. Akeno, reacting swiftly, fired a bolt of lightning, hitting Typhion in the back. He growled in pain, his grip on Kiba faltering. Using the distraction, Kiba twisted free from Typhion's grasp and slashed at him again. This time, Typhion managed to parry with his armored forearms, but the impact forced him to take a step back. Koneko, despite being dazed, got back on her feet and charged again, aiming for his legs to destabilize him. Typhion, now fully on the defensive, blocked Koneko's attack with his left forearm, but Akeno seized the moment to summon another powerful lightning strike, this time aiming for Typhion's exposed side. The electricity crackled through the air and struck true, making Typhion stagger. Rias, observing the fight, saw an opening. She channeled her destruction magic into a concentrated blast and aimed it at Typhion. The blast hit him squarely, sending him skidding across the training area. He grunted in pain but quickly got back to his feet, his armor absorbing much of the impact.
Breathing heavily, Typhion faced the peerage once more, his eyes became more fierce as he stared at Rais behind his gauntlets. "Well done so far, but I'm far from done." Typhion, He slammed his fists together, getting into an attack stance. Kiba and Koneko once again charged at him. Kiba swung his swords at him, but Typhion sidestepped, his movements fluid and precise. Koneko came up from behind Kiba, using him as a springboard. She jumped from his back and punched at Typhion, but he blocked it with his forearm. With a swift motion, Typhion pulled his right arm back and punched her in the sternum. The impact was powerful but controlled, sending Koneko skidding back across the training room floor. She winced but quickly regained her footing, her eyes blazing with determination. "Good move." Kiba, He stepped forward to engage Typhion again. He attacked with a flurry of sword strikes, each one met with Typhion's blocking with the back of his hand. Koneko, undeterred by the hit, circled around Typhion, looking for an opening. She launched herself at him again, this time aiming for his legs, trying to throw him off balance. Typhion anticipated the move, blocking her with a swift kick that sent her flying back once more. Rias watched from the sidelines, analyzing the exchange. Kiba and Koneko exchanged a quick glance and nodded. They adjusted their tactics, working in tandem. Kiba distracted Typhion with rapid swordplay, while Koneko used her agility to attack from unexpected angles. The combined assault forced Typhion to stay on the defensive, his eyes narrowing as he adapted to their teamwork. Akeno, seeing her chance, took it. She summoned another lightning strike, sending it hurtling towards Typhion. Hearing the crackling of the lightning, Typhion quickly used his gravity manipulation to pull a sword towards him, intending to deflect the attack. However, just as the sword reached him, Rias intervened, firing her destruction magic at the weapon, shattering it into pieces. The lightning bolt struck Typhion, causing him to stagger slightly but not bringing him down. He gritted his teeth, absorbing the impact, and quickly regained his footing. His eyes flickered with as he faced the combined assault from Rias, Kiba, Koneko, and Akeno. "Nice try, but it will take more than that to bring me down." Typhion, His voice edged with respect for their tactics. Kiba and Koneko used the distraction to their advantage. Kiba lunged forward, while Koneko circled around, aiming for Typhion's blind spot. Meanwhile, Akeno prepared another spell, and Rias readied herself for the next move. Typhion braced himself, his stance unwavering as he prepared to counter their next combined assault. Kiba leaped into the air, bringing his swords down on Typhion, while Koneko approached from behind, and Akeno unleashed another lightning strike. Typhion, seeing this from the corner of his eye, quickly jumped to the right. Unable to halt his momentum, Kiba collided with Koneko, sending both tumbling to the ground. As Typhion jumped, Akeno's lightning bolt surged towards him. In a quick, fluid motion, he slightly turned his body and extended his arm, redirecting the bolt away from himself. The lightning crackled and veered off course, striking the ground harmlessly. With Kiba and Koneko temporarily out of commission and Akeno's attack thwarted, Typhion took a moment to catch his breath. He glanced at Rias, who was already preparing her next move, her eyes filled with determination. Rias looked over to Akeno, who in turn met her gaze. Rias nodded, and Akeno understood instantly. They both began channeling their respective powers, combining Rias's destructive magic with Akeno's lightning. The energy crackled and swirled, growing in intensity before they unleashed their combined attack at Typhion. Quick-thinking, Typhion used his gravity manipulation to pull up chunks of the ground, forming a makeshift barrier. The combined attack collided with the barrier, causing a massive explosion of debris. The force of the impact sent shockwaves through the area, but Typhion's barrier held firm, absorbing most of the damage. As the dust settled, Typhion emerged from behind his barrier, slightly winded but otherwise unharmed. He glanced at the determined faces of Rias and her team.
Kiba, seeing Koneko in pain, felt a surge of anger. He pushed himself off the ground and lunged at Typhion again, swinging his swords with renewed vigor. Typhion deflected the blows with one hand then Typhion caught the blades with one hand, Typhion made another fist. He drew it back and slammed his fist into Kiba's diaphragm, the impact knocking the wind out of him and sending him sprawling. Akeno, seeing an opening, desperate to help, summoned a massive bolt of lightning and fired it at Typhion, striking him squarely in the back. He snarled in pain, the force of the bolt causing him to stagger momentarily. Typhion turned around, and using his strength, he pushed off the ground and pulled his sword to him, catching it mid-air. In an instant, he was in front of Akeno. She raised her hands to protect herself, but then a voice echoed, "Don't!" Arthralma, Typhion stopped just inches from her face, his expression conflicted. Rias, witnessing this, knew the battle was over. "That's enough!" Rias, her voice carrying authority. Typhion and Akeno looked over to her. "Did you have to go so hard on my members?" Rias, She was visibly pissed at Typhion. He looked down, saying nothing, which only angered Rias further. "Got nothing to say, like always?" Rias, Typhion rolled his shoulders, the tension from the battle gradually easing. "It's training." Typhion, His response only seemed to anger Rias more. Her eyes narrowed, and she crossed her arms over her chest, her expression stern. "Training? You call this training? You could have seriously injured my members." Rias, Typhion simply snorted in response, an edge of defiance in his expression. He sheathed his sword, and without another word, Typhion turned and made his way out, his steps steady and unhurried. The tension in the room was palpable as he exited, leaving Rias fuming but unable to argue further. Kiba and Koneko, somewhat recovered from the punches, approached Akeno and Rias. They were still in pain and knew they would have marks, especially Kiba. "What was that all about?" Kiba, Confusion and concern in his voice. Rias sighed, frustration evident in her eyes. "That, I don't know. I'll go ask. You two will go recover and meet me in the meeting room." Rias, The two simply nodded and hobbled their way out, supporting each other as they went.
Typhion made his way out of the old school building. "What is wrong, what the hell happened back there." Arthralma, Typhion didn't respond, his jaw clenched in frustration. He quickly looked around, scanning the surroundings until his eyes landed on a group of trees nearby. Without hesitation, he headed toward them, seeking a moment of solitude. As Typhion reached the group of trees, he pulled his swords and scabbards from his back. With a frustrated grunt, he threw them onto the ground and sat down next to a tree, leaning his back against it. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The tension from the confrontation with Rias and the intensity of the recent battle still weighed heavily on him. The cool shade and the gentle rustling of leaves above offered a semblance of peace, but his mind remained restless. "You need to watch your strength." Arthralma, Typhion just snorted at Arthralma's warning. "You are stronger than her peerage members and have had a life of difference than them, so just be more cautious when you fight them." Arthralma, He finally relented, knowing that despite Typhion's outward defiance, he would heed the advice.
Meanwhile, Tsubaki had finished her paperwork and decided to take a walk around the school grounds. It was a beautiful day, and she welcomed the break. As she walked, she noticed someone resting in a small grove of trees at a distance. Curiosity piqued, she cautiously approached but stopped short when she recognized the person. It was the one who had saved her from the Old Satan Faction the previous night. Nervous but determined to thank him, she continued forward. As Tsubaki got closer, she realized he was asleep. Despite his rest, his body exhibited slight muscle spasms, indicating a troubled sleep. "Can I help you?" Arthralma, The voice startling her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt." Tsubaki responded, trying to steady her nerves. "I saw someone I didn't recognize on the school grounds and, as I got closer, I realized it was the person who saved me last night." Tsubaki, "Ah, I see. So you came to thank him personally. Sorry, my host is sleeping now, but he might wake up soon." Arthralma, She went to walk away. "It's all right, I'll come back when he wakes, my master is going to meet with Rias later today to discuss things with us." Tsubaki, Arthralma had an idea. "Would you mind staying here and talking for a bit? I'm sure Typhion will appreciate your thanks when he wakes." Arthralma Tsubaki hesitated for a moment but then nodded. "I don't see a problem with that." Tsubaki, She sat down against the tree next to Typhion, glancing at him occasionally as he slept. The grove was peaceful, the shade providing a cool respite from the day's warmth. The two continued their conversation for a bit, discussing various topics related to the events of the previous night and the current state of affairs in their world. Typhion's body gradually stopped having muscle spasms, which caught Arthralma's attention. "Interesting." Arthralma, Tsubaki looked at Typhion with concern. "Is something the matter?" Tsubaki, "Nothing to worry about, it's just that his mind has finally become calm. It's a good sign. He must be finding some peace." Arthralma, Tsubaki nodded, feeling relieved. "I'm glad to hear that. He seemed really troubled." Tsubaki, "He has been through a lot. Moments of peace are rare for him." Arthralma, An idea popped into his head. "Would you be willing to let him lay his head on or near you?" Arthralma, This question caught Tsubaki completely off guard. "You want me to lay his head on my lap?" Tsubaki, Her voice tinged with surprise. "Not exactly, but since you arrived, his mind has been at peace. I figure it could help him relax more." Arthralma, Tsubaki's face flushed with embarrassment. "If it will help him, I suppose so." Tsubaki, Feeling a sense of duty to repay him for saving her life. "You don't have to do it if you don't want to." Arthralma, "It's fine. I don't mind. It's a small sacrifice for him, saving my life." Tsubaki, steeling herself for the task. She gently moved Typhion, surprised at how heavy he was, but she managed to lay his head on her lap without waking him. As soon as his head settled, she could feel his body relax even more. His breathing became more even, and the tension seemed to melt away from his features. The two continued their conversation for a bit, discussing various topics related to the events of the previous night and the current state of affairs in their world. Tsubaki watched him for a moment, her own heartbeat beginning to slow as she adjusted to the situation. She gently ran her fingers through his hair, hoping it would help soothe him further. She took note of his features: his long crimson red hair with silver streaks that went to the middle of his back, two shoulder-length bangs, and two chin-length bangs on the sides of his head. His hair was split into two parts on the back of his head, with one layer going to the middle of his back and another layer tied back in a bun that reached his shoulders. She also noticed the four clawed scars running from his neck through his eye to the top of his forehead and a burn scar on his right eye. She made a mental note to ask about his hair color at a later time. Arthralma's voice was soft, almost a whisper. "Thank you. This will help him more than you know." Arthralma, Tsubaki nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "It's the least I can do." Tsubaki, As she sat there, she found herself feeling a surprising sense of calm. The warmth of the moment was a stark contrast to the chaos she and he had faced in the last 48 hours. It was a brief respite, but one that both she and Typhion desperately needed.
A few minutes turned into 15 minutes, and Tsubaki found herself lost in her thoughts, her hand continuing to gently stroke Typhion's hair. The peacefulness of the grove and the soft rustle of leaves provided a soothing backdrop. Eventually, Rias had finished with everyone in the meeting room and went to go look for Typhion, she couldn't find him in the school building, so she went outside to look for him. As soon as she stepped outside, she saw Tsubaki with Typhion laying on her lap. She did a double take but then smiled to herself and went over to them. Rias came closer and saw that he was fast asleep, so she came up to the two quietly. Rias approached with a soft smile, appreciating the unexpected tranquility of the scene. Tsubaki glanced up, noticing Rias's presence, and gave a small, acknowledging nod. "How long has he been like this?" Rias, She whispered to not disturb Typhion. "About an fifteen minutes or so, he seemed really exhausted." Tsubaki, She continuing to gently stroke his hair. Rias nodded, her expression softening with understanding. "Interesting to see you with him, Miss Shinra." Rias, "The being residing inside him asked me too, and felt like it was the least I could do, for him saving my life. He also told me what happened with your peerage and why he is here." Tsubaki, Rias raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "Arthralma spoke to you directly?" Rias, her tone both surprised and intrigued. Tsubaki nodded. "Yes, he did. He explained that Typhion needed someone to help calm him, and since my presence seemed to soothe him, I agreed. He also mentioned the fight with your peerage and how that went." Tsubaki, Rias sighed, glancing down at Typhion, who remained peacefully asleep. "I see, but he didn't need to be so rough with my peerage members. It was only a test to see what he was capable of." Rias, Frustration evident in her voice. Tsubaki continued to gently stroke Typhion's hair, her touch light and calming. "I can understand, Lady Gremory, but he had too much on his mind, and it took its toll on him." Tsubaki, Rias looked hard at Typhion, her expression a mix of concern and curiosity. "What could he possibly have gone through for it to do that to his mind?" Rias, Tsubaki hesitated before speaking again, her voice gentle but firm. "He carries a heavy burden, Lady Gremory. From what Arthralma mentioned without going into too much detail, he has faced many challenges and traumas that have left deep scars, both physical and emotional. It's not an excuse for his actions, but perhaps it can help us understand him better." Tsubaki, Rias nodded slowly, her expression softening as she considered Tsubaki's words. "You're right. We all have our burdens to bear. I just hope he can learn to trust us and not shoulder everything alone." Rias, Tsubaki smiled gently, still stroking Typhion's hair. "With time, I believe he will. For now, let's give him the support he needs to heal and grow stronger." Tsubaki, Rias returned the smile. "Thank you, Tsubaki. Your insight is invaluable." Rias, After a few silent moments, the tranquility was broken by Tsubaki's phone ringing. She quickly answered it, a communication circle forming with a small magical projection of Sona. "Yes, Lady Sona?" Tsubaki, "Where are you? Our meeting with Rias is about to begin." Sona, She was slightly irritated. "I'm sorry, I was caught up with something, but Lady Gremory is here with me." Tsubaki, Sona's expression softened slightly at the mention of Rias. "Hello, Sona, we can meet now as our meeting subject is here with us as well." Rias, stepping into view. Sona's projection looked surprised. "Typhion is with you?" Sona, "Yes, he's sleeping now, but we can discuss matters in my club room." Rias, Sona nodded, her irritation giving way to curiosity. "Very well, I'll be there shortly." Sona, The communication circle dissipated, leaving Tsubaki and Rias in a brief silence. Tsubaki glanced down at Typhion, who was still asleep, his breathing steady. "Should we wake him?" Tsubaki asked softly. Before Rias could answer, Typhion opened his eye and found himself staring up at Tsubaki. He was slightly taken aback by his position, realizing his head was on her lap, and noticed how beautiful she looked under the tree's dappled light. "Well, good morning there. Sleep well?" Rias, She greeted him with a smile. Typhion turned to look at Rias, her smile making him feel more at ease despite his initial confusion. "Yes. Thank you." Typhion, his voice still a bit groggy. Tsubaki gave him a gentle smile, continuing to stroke his hair. "You seemed to need it." Tsubaki, Typhion sat up slowly, stretching a bit and taking in his surroundings. "I didn't expect to wake up here." Typhion, Looking between Rias and Tsubaki. Rias chuckled. "It seems you found a very comfortable spot. We have a meeting now." Rias, Typhion nodded, before they left, Typhion turned to Tsubaki, his expression somewhat softening. "Thank you for letting me sleep in peace for once." Typhion, Tsubaki's cheeks flushed slightly at his words. "I just did what I could." Tsubaki, Rias smiled warmly at Tsubaki, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "You're right, Tsubaki. I'm glad he's found someone like you who can help him find that peace." she said, giving a small, encouraging laugh. Tsubaki's cheeks became more flushed, but she smiled.
The three made it to the meeting room, where Sona was already waiting. Rias moved to her chair behind the desk, while Sona sat on one of the couches with Tsubaki standing behind her. Typhion took a seat on the opposite couch. "Thank you for waiting, Sona. Let's get started." Rias, Sona nodded, her demeanor serious. "I understand you've had a vigorous sparring session with your peerage, Rias. How did it go?" Soan, Rias sighed. "It was intense. Typhion is incredibly strong, but I believe we need to work on integrating his abilities with both our teams better." Rias, Typhion glanced at Rias and then at Sona. "I could have held back my strength abit." Typhion, Rias waved her hand dismissively. "Sparring can be rough; it's part of training. What's important is what we learn from it." Rias, Sona nodded in agreement. "As long as no one is killed, then there are no hard feelings. Training like this helps us understand our strengths and weaknesses. It's all part of becoming stronger." Sona, She gave him a reassuring smile, Typhion nodded "Thank you for understanding, we'll continue to train and grow stronger together." Rias,
The meeting between the three continued on for a while before concluding. They discussed various strategies, upcoming events, and the coordination between their teams. Typhion, Rias, and Sona exchanged ideas on improving their training methods and ensuring better safety during sparring sessions. As the meeting wrapped up, Sona and Tsubaki prepared to leave. "Thank you for your time, Rias, Typhion." Sona, Her tone formal but friendly. "I believe we've made some good progress today." Rias nodded. "Agreed. Let's keep up the communication. It benefits us all." Rias, Typhion gave a slight bow. With a final exchange of pleasantries, Sona and Tsubaki exited the room. Rias turned to Typhion with a thoughtful expression. "So, are you going to explain what happened between you and Miss Shinra?" Rias, her tone gently probing as she leaned forward. Typhion looked at her with some slight confusion in his expression. "I don't know what happened exactly. I was asleep, alone, and then I woke up with my head in her lap." Typhion, He was still trying to make sense of the situation. Rias raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "That's it? Nothing else happened?" Rias, Typhion shook his head. "Nothing that I'm aware of. It was unexpected." Typhion, Rias nodded thoughtfully. "I see. Well, I'm sure it was just an unusual circumstance. That was the first time she has ever done that." Rias, Typhion snorted. "Unexpected, indeed." Typhion, Rias studied him for a moment longer, then let out a soft sigh. "Typhion, Tsubaki is usually a very composed and reserved. If she did something out of character, there might be more to this. Maybe she felt a strong need to help you." Rias, Typhion frowned, the wheels turning in his mind.
Sons and Tsubaki made it back to the student council room. As soon as they entered, Sona hit Tsubaki with a question. "So what is it you were doing in the time you left and the time of the meeting?" Sona, Her tone stern and her gaze piercing. "I was with Typhion, I found him in the set of trees near the tennis court, and the being inside his sacred gear asked me to help him." Tsubaki, Her voice steady but her expression serious. Sona raised an eyebrow, curiosity mingling with concern. "The being inside his sacred gear? What exactly did it ask of you?" Sona, Tsubaki took a deep breath, recalling the encounter. "He said that he was sleeping and that my presence was soothing him." Tsubaki, Sona's expression softened slightly, her stern demeanor giving way to curiosity. "So, he felt comforted by your presence? Did he say anything else about the experience?" Sona, Tsubaki shook her head. "No, that was the main thing. He seemed genuinely surprised when he woke up and found himself with his head in my lap." Tsubaki, Sona nodded thoughtfully. "This is unusual. Typhion's sacred gear must have sensed something in you, something that could help stabilize him." Sona, "That's interesting. Why would it pick me?" Tsubaki wondered aloud, her brow furrowing in thought. "You are selling yourself short, Tsubaki, it probably picked up something from within you, something that resonates with his own needs." Sona, She gave a reassuring smile. Tsubaki looked thoughtful, her mind racing through the possibilities. "I suppose... but what could it be? I've never experienced anything like this before." Tsubaki, Sona leaned forward, her expression intent. "We'll, whatever Typhion's sacred gear saw in you, it must think you have something special." Sona, Tsubaki felt a warmth spread through her at Sona's words. "I hope I can live up to its expectations." Tsubaki, Sona smiled, her eyes reflecting trust and confidence in her friend. "I know you will, Tsubaki. Your strength and compassion are exactly what he might have needed." Sona, She took a mental note of how Tsubaki's encounter with Typhion has somewhat changed her, she gave a slight chuckle
