In Dragon Academy…

Dogbreath, son of the great Wolfsbane stared at the Blue Zippleback with disgust while the creature showed affection.

Despicable. Depraved. Disgraceful. Disgusting. Dishonorable. Dreadful. Disappointing. Disdain-able. Disrespectful. Disservice. Diabolical. Demonic. Demented. Dreadful. Disturbing. Degraded. Debased. Debauched. Dissolute. Damaged. Demolished. Disseminated.

So many words the Viking could think of while he was giving such a-such a common and basic creature to become his steed in the sky. No, he was an heir, a Haddock! He was destined to become the Great Chief of the Harry Hooligans and lead his tribe to victory, if not for the audacity of the Clan's, no the Tribes' disgrace, Hiccup the Useless came out of the blue and stole what was rightfully his. He hated that boy, not only did he steal his title, his rightful play, but he had the gull to embarrass him, shame his father, and humiliate his tribe.

Sickening. Sickening. Scornful. Sneering. Sinister. Sneaky. Suspicious. Spiteful. Scathing. Sordid. Sour. Senseless. Shameful.

Hiccup Haddock was all these things.

Hiccup Haddock the Useless. Hiccup Haddock the Usurper. Hiccup Haddock the Stain. Hiccup Haddock the Fool. Hiccup Haddock the Burden. Hiccup Haddock the Shame. Hiccup Haddock the Embarrassment. Hiccup Haddock the Horrible. Hiccup Haddock the Mistake. Hiccup Haddock the Traitor. Hiccup Haddock the Failure.

"Is there a problem, Dogbreath?" Hiccup questioned his cousin who was looking like someone just spat in his face.

He gritted his teeth as he remembered the letter his father was given.

To every member of the Haddock Family,

I am to inform you that the war between dragons and humans has finally ended. The Red Death, the Queen of Dragons who brought misery and anguish through her subjects has been slain by my son, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. Hiccup has uncovered a discovery unlike any other, he has trained a dragon, a Night Fury named Toothless. He is the first to find the nest, he is the one to have slain the Red Death, and he has brought peace and tamed the dragons.

For his actions, we shall hold the title ceremony at the Capital of the Hooligan Tribe, where we will discuss our 'newest' lifestyle. Drinks and food will be provided but bring your own weapon.

Signed, Head Chief Stoick the Vast

"Yes… I was wondering, oh Great Hiccup Haddock the Jewel of the Haddock Clan…." He seethed while Hiccup could hear his teeth grinding, alpha testosterone spewed from him with a fury worthy of a dragon.

But Hiccup did not relent nor falter.

"Don't call me such a thing, Dogbreath. And don't take that tone with me."

"Fear Class? Fear Class? Me being taught by those-those muttonhead twins?!" Dogbreath fumed at the thought.

He was fuming with rage. The thought of him, the Great Dogbreath being taught by a pack of fools! It was insulting! Yes, he still thinks back to that accursed letter!

"HICCUP!"

"I'm here, I'm here what's the problem?" Hiccup sighed to his cousin.

"My problem? My problem is this!" Dogbreath fumed as he presented the paper.

"You're in fear class, the perfect class for your type of dragon." Hiccup answered, not really seeing a problem.

"You are making me the student to those muttonheads?! You dare pair me up with those idiots." He barked.

"Tuffnut and Ruffnut may not look like much, they may be troublemakers, but they are good teachers in this class. I am not changing the assigned class." Hiccup firmly answered, standing up to his comrades against his cousin.

"I refuse to be taught by them!" He snarled.

"Then you'll have to find your own teacher then."

Hiccup then crossed out Dogbreath's name, signifying him being kicked out of the academy before being given his classes.

"You're kicking me out?!" Dogbreath growled as the original riders were watching in case they needed to stop him.

"Apologize to Ruffnut and Tuffnut and you can come back-?" Hiccup informed but then was suddenly grabbed by his cousin!

"You little runt! You do not give me Ultimatums! I give-!"

ROAR!

Toothless had enough and tackled the boy to the ground while everyone watched!

"You miserable dragon! I'll lob off your-!"

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!"

Stoick and the other chiefs appeared by the commotion.

"Little runt, call off your dragon before I drive my axe into him!" Wolfbane threatened the boy.

"Dogbreath tried to threaten Hiccup then attacked him, Toothless was just protecting Hiccup." Astrid voiced to the chiefs.

"It's true. We saw the whole thing." Trout confirmed to the adults while everyone behind agreed with him.

"My son would never-!"

"Dogbreath, answer yourself!" Stoick ordered the boy.

"My cousin dared to kick me out of his stupid school after I voiced that I wouldn't be taught by the muttonheads!"

"Hey!" Tuffnut and Ruffnut complained.

"I'm defending my team, and I will let him back in if he apologizes." Hiccup calmly answered before dusting himself off.

Stoick nodded.

"Very well. Hiccup's choice will stand then." Stoick agreed while crossing his arms.

"WHAT?!" Wolfbane and Dogsbreath boomed in fury.

"Anyone entering this school will uphold the rules and decisions of my son and his friends, no exceptions." Stoick declared then looked to his brother, "If your son wants to be a dragon rider, he'll apologize not just to the twins but to my sons for his outburst."

Dogsbreath growled but Wolfbane mouthed him to do it.

"Fine, Sorry… you two and… Hiccup."

Hiccup sighed.

"And next time you have an outburst like that, you'll be kicked out for good." Hiccup warned the boy.

"I was simply wondering… are there any other Fear Class Dragons for me to… bond with?" Dogbreath forced a smile on his face, while Hiccup could tell that he was displeased.

The Zippleback looked saddened that the boy didn't want them, and Hiccup provided comfort with a gentle touch.

"Dogbreath, this is the dragon species you have been assigned to. Ruff and Tuff believed that they were the perfect dragon for you… though, it seemed that there have been complications with your training, or more precisely, the complications you made with your training." Hiccup informed with irritation in his voice, like Stoick.

Just add the yelling and the boy sounded…. Like Stoick.

The boy was scolding him… like Stoick.

"I would like to think that I have high standards in my training and prefer something a little more… experience."

Hiccup breathed with disappointment.

"Dogbreath, I will find another rider for this dragon, but I am reaching the end of my tether with you. If you want to have a dragon of your own choice, then go find one of your own. But I will not allow my riders, your teachers to be harassed by some spoiled child."

Spoiled!?

"What is the meaning of this, Stoick? Why is the child being rewarded instead of being punished?" Wolfbane growled like a dog.

"Why must he be? This boy has done what we all failed to do for three hundred years, maybe even more than that. Bring peace." Swift intervened as she showed pride on her face for her nephew.

"He betrayed his kind and sided with the dragons," Dogbreath added.

"No, he tamed them and made them powerful allies. That says more he's done than you will ever do." Trout countered.

Dogbreath growled as Hiccup gently led the Zippleback away while Toothless followed them.

"If you keep this up, Dogbreath, you and your father, I will have no choice but to expel you both." Hiccup warned the boy.

"Okay, okay. You're the boss…." Dogbreath sighed while raising his hands up then Hiccup left with his dragons, Toothless freeing one more growl before leaving, "For now."

Right, time to check in on their silent partner.

On Outcast Island…

Wolfbane and Dogbreath looked at the dragons the Outcast had captured and were in awe of the creatures that were prisoners.

Changewing, Whispering Death, Scauldron, and Oh.

"Alvin, how much longer until you have the knowledge, we need to control these dragons?" Wolfbane questioned the chief.

"Well since you lot failed to get anything out of the boy-."

"We didn't-!"

"I figure we go to our spy and see if we can't speed things up." Alvin declared to the Chief.

"Right, and our combining forces with the knowledge of the dragons will make us unstoppable and have the true Haddocks right on the throne." Wolfbane declared with fury while his son looked at a special dragon.

"This one is interesting… What do you call it?" Dogbreath questioned the pair.

"A Sinister Snaptrapper, four heads, can lure humans and dragons, full of teeth and hate." One of the Outcasts informed the boy.

"Ooh, looks deadly, hungry… I bet he would like to feed on my cousin's bones. Oh, that would be the perfect name for you, Haddock-Eater."
