As Jaxon took our girls on an adventure, the quiet in our house was nice; Josh and I needed the alone time. It was peaceful as we talked about the new baby, our voices low and filled with excitement. We discussed names, imagined the future, and shared a sense of tranquility that only moments like these could bring. The house, usually filled with the cheerful noise of children, was now a haven of calm, allowing us to connect deeply and dream about the family we were growing.

"Do you think it will be a boy or a girl?" Josh asked me, his eyes shining with curiosity and hope.

I smiled, feeling a warm rush of affection for my husband. "I don't know," I replied, placing my hand gently over my growing belly. "Either way, they will be loved, and that's what truly matters."

Josh nodded, his hand joining mine. "You're right," he said softly. "We have so much love to give, and I can't wait to meet our little one."

Josh sighed, "Something is telling me I will never get a boy," he said, a hint of playful resignation in his voice.

"Why do you say that?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

Josh chuckled softly, his thumb rubbing gentle circles over my hand. "I don't know," he mused, a smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Maybe it's because we have two wonderful girls already, and it just feels like our family is destined to be filled with strong, amazing women."

I laughed, the sound light and full of love. "Well, whatever the future holds, girl or boy, I know they'll be just as wonderful as Janna and Ashe. Our family is perfect because of the love we share."

Josh leaned in, kissing my forehead tenderly. "You're right. And no matter what, we'll embrace our new arrival with open hearts and endless love."

In that moment of shared anticipation and joy, the future felt bright and full of promise, and we cherished the quiet intimacy that allowed us to dream together.

Josh's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Do you have any names picked out yet?" he asked, a hint of excitement in his voice.

I nodded, a smile spreading across my face. "I've been thinking about a few," I admitted. "For a girl, I like the name Elise or Irelia. They are simple, elegant, and have a timeless charm to them. And for a boy, I was considering the name Ezreal . It feels strong and reliable."

Josh chuckled softly, his eyes warm with affection. "Hmm, I am not sure about the girls' names, but I do like Ezreal. But like I said, I have this feeling it's going to be another girl."

I smiled, feeling the love and anticipation in his words. "Well, it's a good thing we have some time to decide. Maybe we'll come across the perfect name when we least expect it," I said, squeezing his hand gently.

Josh nodded, a thoughtful expression on his face. "You're right. And no matter what, we have so much love to give. Whether it's Elise, Irelia, or another name altogether, our little one will be cherished just as much as Janna and Ashe."

"What girl names do you like?" I asked him, curious to know his thoughts.

Josh's eyes lit up with a thoughtful sparkle. "Well," he began, "I've always liked the name Annie. It's classic and has a certain strength to it. And then there's Katarina, or Lillia"

I nodded, considering his suggestions.

Josh nodded in agreement. "Well, I guess we will just need to wait and see. Who knows, maybe the perfect name will come to us when we least expect it."

I laughed softly, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. "Yes, you're right. And in the end, it doesn't really matter what name we choose. What matters is the love we have for our little one and the joy they will bring into our lives."

Josh squeezed my hand, his eyes filled with love and determination. "Exactly. No matter what, we are in this together, and we will make sure our child feels loved and cherished every single day."

As we sat there, dreaming about our future and the new addition to our family, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the journey we were on. Together, we would face whatever challenges came our way, and our love would guide us through it all.

It was nice just being alone with Josh, and we tried not to let the looming threats in our lives get to us even though it bothered me. I had to ask him about it.

"Josh," I said softly, breaking the serene bubble we had created, "have you thought about what we're going to do about the threats? I know we're trying to stay positive, but it's hard not to think about it."

Josh's expression grew serious, his eyes searching mine for a moment before he spoke. "I have thought about it a lot," he admitted, his voice steady. "And I know it's something we can't ignore. But I also believe that we can't let it overshadow the joy of this moment. We need to stay strong and united, for our family's sake."

I nodded, feeling a mix of relief and concern. "I trust you, Josh. And I know we'll get through this together. It's just... sometimes it feels overwhelming."

He pulled me closer, wrapping his arms around me in a comforting embrace. "I know, love. But we're not alone in this. We have each other, and we have the support of our friends and family. We'll figure out a way to keep our family safe and happy."

I sighed, allowing myself a moment of vulnerability. "Jaxon is honestly the best protector for our girls. I know Ashe was taken, but he found her and risked himself getting hurt to protect her."

Josh's eyes softened, and he nodded in agreement. "Jaxon is brave and loyal. He'd do anything to keep our family safe, and we owe him so much for what he's done for Ashe."

A sense of comfort washed over me as I thought about Jaxon's unwavering dedication. "It's just that knowing he's out there, watching over us, gives me some peace of mind. He's always been like a guardian angel for our family."

Josh squeezed my hand again, his touch grounding me. "And he's not alone in this, either. We have our friends, our family, and each other. Together, we'll overcome whatever challenges come our way."

"Josh, do you think PIGEON will get behind the threat or will we need Jaxon forever?" I asked, the worry evident in my voice.

Josh took a deep breath, considering my question carefully. "PIGEON has always been a wildcard. While they might help us this time, we can't solely rely on them. Jaxon has proven his loyalty and strength time and time again, and while I hope for a future where we don't need his constant vigilance, having him around brings a level of security we can't easily replace."

I nodded, understanding the complexity of the situation. "I wish things were simpler," I said, my voice tinged with longing. "But knowing Jaxon is there does give me some peace of mind."

"Me too," Josh agreed, his tone resolute. "We must stay vigilant and prepared, no matter what. Jaxon is a crucial part of our safety net, but we should also focus on strengthening our alliances and resources to ensure our family's future is secure."

As I looked into Josh's eyes, I saw the determination and love that had always guided us through the toughest times. Together, with Jaxon by our side and the support of those we trusted, I felt a renewed sense of hope for the challenges ahead.
