EMIYA, a counter guardian who has been alive for more than eons, serving the will of the world. Time doesn't exist for him so he's able to still look roughly the same as when he first died. His true death was discovering he lived his entire life for an idea that wasn't his in the first place.
Being summoned on top of stark tower, he begins surveying the area until he spots a red car just arriving 'Tony Stark, a genius beyond geniuses. He started making weapons for the military and S.H.I.E.L.D until he got jumped by terrorists one day at his showcase. That was the moment he lost his heart and uses what he calls, the Ark Reactor, to keep living. Truly a mastermind when he first built his suit of armor'
While he was in thought, from the distance to the United Nations, a Hydra robot in the form of an octopus swam up. Seeing the robot, he snapped out of his train of thought. The guardian sees Stark flying in his Iron Man suit all the way to the UN, where the mechanical walking Hydra bot is.
His mission this time, assist Tony Stark with Hydra. 'Even if he doesn't think he needs help, I'll cover his back at least'
He vanished into thin air.
Few minutes earlier
It was supposed to just be another day of destroying Hydra tech. His last dismantling of Hydra's robot was at the pier. When that giant robot attack, he had to do what he needed to do. Now, his assistant is telling him Hydra is attacking the UN, where an important meeting is going on.
Now, Stark is getting ready in his armory. Said armory containing a very secure holder in the center of the room. His main armor. Tony calls out, "Jarvis, fire it up"
"Very good, sir. Initiating the Mark 6"
The storage for mark 6 opened up. He climbs in as the suit connects to him. Now donning the Iron Man armor, he flies out to the attacking Hydra agents. However, something vanished on top of his building. 'What was that?'
"Jarvis, scan for any signs of heat signatures or electrical waves. Something just appeared and I want to know if it's a threat."
"Scanning. No other heat signature or presence detected. But there appears to be something about the air."
"Very well, I'll take a look at the recordings later. For now, time to kick some Hydra goons."
"I'll be on the lookout for whatever just made an appearance." Says Rhodey before he warns, "Be careful, man."
"Why would I start now? I'll be 10, 15 minutes max. Trust me"
United Nations, New York
The guardian just arrived before Stark did. Finding his vantage point in a nearby building, hidden close by where a broken window is. He pulls out his bow as Hydra goons take fire. 'I'll stall til Stark arrives. Can't reveal myself to the world just yet.'
Emiya traces a few nameless blades and twists them into arrows for his use. He looks around to the battlefield and sees a few military soldiers taking cover behind a car, the Hydra bot starting to climb out of the water, and Hydra goons pressing the military with their guns and rocket launchers.
He starts picking them off one by one. The goons on the ground were the first to go, as nobody became aware of what shot them. The goons flanking to the left were also the next to get hit with sword arrows. Falling into an eternal sleep.
Then the next to go was a goon on the top of the building with a rocket launcher, he shot that goon down as the goon falls from the 39-story building.
'This should be enough to even things out for now. You better be here Stark; an un-stabilized timeline is worse than the spider awakening.'
And Stark did. When he arrived, he sees one of the hydra bots about to attack the military. He blasts his unibeam straight through as the bot explodes. However, no major damage was done on the outside, but it was destroyed on the inside. Stark comments, "Timber"
And the bot did just that, falling over into the waters behind. "What have we got Jarvis?" asks start wanting to know the situation on the ground. The AI chose to comment on his armor.
"Armor power is down 40% after using the unibeam, which I recommended against."
"I meant on the ground."
"Ahh yes"The AI locks in on the Hydra goons by the car, who are holding weapons from guns to rocket launchers."14 Hydra targets all heavily armed, sir"
"Maybe I should've brought Rhodey along. Jarvis, activate external speakers"
The AI did as Tony announces, "Attention Hydra goons, you've been trying to take over the world for 60 years, it's not happening." One of the goons' fires fromthe launcher. Stark moves his body slightly to dodge as his look is that of surprise. Can't believe someone tried to shoot him down. "He actually shot at me?"
Having quickly recovered, he's now motivated, "Fine. We'll do it the hard way."
Stark flies down, superman style as his arms pop out a mini grenade. But it wasn't as the look of it has many other mini missiles inside. They pop out of it as Stark did a fly by.
These weren't ordinary mini missiles since they came in a swirl, latching onto the guns of the Hydra goons. Quickly exploding, taking out every goon that wasn't hiding.
The two goons that were, were taking cover behind a flipped car, but they got exposed quickly as Stark lifts the car up.
Looking over, Stark says, "Hi there" before using one hand to blast the two goons.
Looking around the battlefield, every goon had either died or are knocked unconscious. Shame too, would've been better rotting in jail.
Stark mocks them, "haha, wow, they don't make bad guys the way they used to."
From the roof of a nearby building, a Hydra goon got back up at took aim with his rocket launcher from someone that's been knocked out. Taking aim, he was about to fire but was quickly taken out by a sword arrow from somewhere as he falls back on the ground.
From where the guardian stands, he's in a pose that has the aftermath of firing that arrow. Killing the would-be attacker and saving Stark his ego and life.
'That takes care of that. Oh? Some new bots have appeared. He should be able to take care of it, but just in case..." Emiya traces a nameless noble phantasm he once saw in King Gilgamesh's careless use of his gate when it was fired at him from long ago.
"This blade should be enough with the right angle" he gets in position as he sees Stark having trouble with the bots. Emiya takes aim as he waits for the right time.
Stark wasn't having a good day after all. He just learned Hydra stole HIS tech. Where did they steal that much Stark Tech? He's going to find out who and take them down himself.
"Electromagnetic pulse!"
"Not enough power"
"Fine, divert power to repulsors"
Jarvis did as Stark lifts his arms up and begins to blast at the two who had their shields up. With each blast he takes step forward as they take a step back. But that didn't nothing as the shields were too powerful.
"You have got to be kidding. That's my shielding!"
Stark grunts in pain as one snuck up from behind, delivering a punch, sending Stark flying into the building where the mirrors crack as he falls to the ground.
"Unibeam!" Stark calls out.
"Ill advised. Your current operating power is not sufficient to energize the unibeam"Explains Jarvis as Stark gets picked up and thrown to the side of a flipped car.
Recovering, he's on his knees as he says, "I need those shields, Jarvis."
Stark gets up as Jarvis responds, "Repulsor shield reboot sequence already in progress"
"Fine." Stark flies up, "Come on you pieces of junk! Show me what else you've got cause you probably stole it from me, too!"
It took a minute, but he's already got one in his arms as he takes it up into the air and throws it to the other robot that was nearby, trying to shoot him down.
They crash into each other as both of bots' break. Scanning, he sees Stark Industries on one of his old works in a Hydra robot.
He pounces on the bot and tears it off while saying, "Mine"
A blast came from behind, as the second bot has his attention. Stark flies up and blasts the walking Hydra bot.
On a nearby roof, where the goon died by the guardian, a lingering Hydra "goon" was still moving. Looking on toward the fight but no reaction, his mind was wandering to that arrow that vanished from the goon's dead body.
'How? That shouldn't be possible. Nobody else was reported to be here. Unless...' The "goon" chuckles a bit as he gets on the ground, pretending to be knocked out. 'I see, so my mind wasn't playing tricks. Someone else has entered the field. I will figure you out at a much later time, friend.'
Back to the battle, Stark throws a punch with a little electromagnetic pulse. The shield to the bot is down but Stark gets knocked down as he winces in pain.
The bot comes above him, attempting to burn Stark alive as Stark holds the bot back with his legs. He kicks it back just enough to push his feet into its face and processes to fry it's face off.
With the bot destroyed he gets back up. As the last Hydra robot was about to attack from behind, it instantly gets shot down by a nameless bladed arrow that came from nowhere and the evidence having been erase as soon as it destroyed the third.
'That should be enough. Was that the reaper? Lucky for him, he's not ready to die just yet.' With that, he vanished into thin air.
Hours after the attack
With shield having just arrived and Stark interrogating Fury, Stark takes his leave as Shield starts rounding up the Hydra goons.
"Hydra got into our systems. We have a leak. Find it and plug it." Commands Fury as he walks away.
"Yes sir" responds his second in command. Agent Maria Hill, one of his trusted agents and his next in line for director.
"And get me the Black Widow." Adds Fury as he turns to the screen. A scene played of arrows appearing out of nowhere and the spot the archer took was perfect for an advantage point. 'No data on the guy and even off the records don't pull this guy up. Who are you? A hero or a villain?'
The scene on the screen replays of a red coated archer taking aim at the goons, saving the military, and killing off a few of Hydra's goons too. Even seeing him watch Starks back is impressive. 'Whoever you are, I will find you. Should you be a threat to Earth'

The next moment, the guardian appears in Asgard. Where the remaining Bifröst start their attack lead by the god of mischief, Loki.
'Great, the last place I needed to be...' Thought the archer. Looking around, he sees he's in an empty outpost on the wall. 'Perfect'. Getting in his stance, he traces his down as the winter storm came in hard. 'If I haven't already caught the attention of the All-father himself then I surely caught the attention of that witch.' Thinking back to a time where a beautiful woman dressed in green with blond hair and red lips. He instantly thought back to the short time he spent with her. Saving another soul from the king of the frost giants.
'Better show up Thor,' thought the red coated archer, 'Even I don't have the power to stall this many ice giants' Tracing a few fire-based nameless blades in the air, he takes one as another fire blade takes its place.
Drawing from his bow, he aims at an oncoming frost giant and fires at it.
With Thor on Earth
Having recently stopped the wrecking crew and saving the female paramedic. He was impressed by her bravery. He had to ask why, and her response was, "Because they needed my help, so I helped them. I'm a paramedic, it's what I do."
"I'm Jane, Jane Foster"
Thor was left stunned. So humble despite having just saved the wounded. He honestly didn't know what to say. After all, she does have her own beauty too.
"I-" Before Thor can find his words, some thunder sounds came despite it being clear day. And off in the sky,a voice yelled out. "Thor!"
Looking over, it shows a scruff, buff, Viking with a halberd, this, is Heimdal.
"I bear a brief message from thy father, Odin. He calls you home, Asgard is under siege."
Thor, looking over to Jane, says, "Fare thee well, Jane Foster."
Having said he farewell; he flies up and into the portal that Heimdal opened as it closed the moment he entered.
Asgard
We see our guardian in his spot firing as more frost giants keep popping up even as he faced the now over run city. He may have unlimited mana but even he can still feel tired. Where was Thor when you needed him?
Currently, he's trying to protect the Asgardians from being the frost giants target and saving the injured soldiers from their time before they enter Valhalla. Even if everyone has no idea where he's at.
'Come on Thor. I may be a counter guardian but even I have a limited time of patience. Show up before I'm forced to reveal myself.'
There's a reason the counter guardian doesn't want to reveal himself just yet. And it's because he needs everything to play out, so this timeline doesn't collapse in on itself.
There are threats out there that need the Avengers more than anyone can know. If the Avengers don't form before those threats arrive then it's already considered lost.
However, he's given a chance to make them form as well as find his spot when they arrive.
'Oh, look at that. He's finally arrived' Emiya smirked at bit as Thor started destroying the frost giants. 'Time to do some damage control'
Off in the distance, a few crows were flying back into the castle. Where an old Odin, ready to enter his sleep, sitting on his throne as the two crows land on his shoulders.
Looking up, he says, "My son, finally. The guardian stalled long enough for you to enter. How long would it have taken before he was forced to reveal himself to Asgard?"
With Thor, he swung his hammer in the face of one frost giant as another frost giant swung down on its ice club, knocking Thor down.
Looking up, Thor sees a frost giant swinging down it's ice sword. Thir caught it and made the frost giant flip and let go as it was quickly evaporated in the air before it destroyed a building.
Shocked, the remaining two frost giants took this chance to knock a building on top of Thor.
With a roar, they assumed victory, but it wasn't over just yet.
Thor flew up as he begins to spin his hammer, creating a storm where the center was lightning focused.
"I say thee name. Thor will not fall by your hand monster."
As he was ready to strike, a voice says, "No I think not"
Ice came from the ground, encasing a surprised Thor as the lightning disappeared. It took a minute, but Thor broke free as a frost giant grabbed him from the air and threw the god of lightning into the side of the wall.
The stayed there for a second but fell to the ground where he let go of his beloved hammer, Mjölnir.
Thor tried to get up, but he was beaten down by the two and stepped on by the one with the mace.
The frost giant removed his foot from Thor and picked him up as he begins to throw him in his mouth.
Thor reaches out to his hammer and calls for it, which it did as Thor knocked out a tooth from the frost giant.
In pain, the frost giant let's go as he backs up.
"I have felt your wrath, frost giants." Begins Thor as he aims his hammer in the air. "Now you shall feel mine"
Now with the clouds back and lightning going through his hammer. Thor yells, "Mjölnir!" As he strikes down on the remaining two frost giants. After Thir was done, they fell back and land in the snow. Finished with this fight.
But it didn't take long for a dark blast to hit him, sending him flying back into the walls.
Looking up, he sees a man in yellow and green clothing with a yellow helmet with horns and long hair. This is Loki, flying with dark magic coming out of his hands.
Loki, in a distasteful manner, greets, "Welcome home, brother" Loki grins as Thor growls in anger.
Loki says, "You've had this coming long time, of course. But you know this."
As he begins to fire. A sword in the form of an arrow shot Loki down. Loki cries out in pain as he lands in the snow.
"Who..." Looking to where that shot came from, he sees a red cloaked archer with white hair. He couldn't make out the face, but he did note of how tan his skin was.
'Is this who that woman warned me about? I'll have to adjust my plans a little to account for him'
Loki was picked up by Thor, who was ready to strike with his hammer. Thor says, "Come, brother. You have much to answer for."

In Odins throne room, where every solider and friend of Thor is. The doors slammed open as a binded Loki was thrown and Thor, who threw him.
There were a few others in the room. Both being unseen but one is a familiar presence.
'Good thing I took some time to watch the show' thought our now invisible archer.
"You have gone too far, Loki." Says the All-father with a powerful voice and tone. "This is no game. Soon, I shall enter the Odinsleep. And Asgard will not have my power to protect it."
"To bring the frost giants here, to try to usurp your own father-"
Loki interrupts in anger, "You are not my father! Look at you, king of fools, of arrogance, of weakness, and betrayal."
"Asgard will fall, and I will be there to laugh in its ruins, to see you and Thor in chains."
"Enough!" Odin yells out, "you leave me no choice, Loki. You are hereby banished to the Isle of Silence, where no one will have to suffer your lies and deception."
"No..." Loki says in surprise.
Odin pulls out his wand and aims it at Loki. A beam hits him as Loki yells out, " NOOOOOOOOO!"
With that, Loki vanished, having been banished to the Isle of Silence. Where the crows there mocked the now voiceless Loki.
"Father." Says Thor and Odin responds, "The Odinsleep nears. Once a year, I must slumber to regain my strength, so that Asgard can live."
"There is much for you to prepare. Baldur and Sif will watch over Asgard while you sleep." Says Thor, Gesturing to them. "I must attend to Midgard."
The man in blue armor, Baldur, and the woman in pink armor, Sif, looked at each other before looking back to the All-father and God of lightning.
"You need to be here! Asgard is your responsibility, not Midgard."
"The mortals need me, father" Thor starts as he walks up to his father, "I return to Midgard again and again because their world is spawning dangers that mankind has never seen before, evil that will consume them, unless I am there to stop it"
"Baldur tells me that humans are more capable than you give them credit for." Says Odin, stroking his beard. "You saw the valor in the human, Jane Foster."
Thor didn't like that, "And of course, you were watching me. I will always be there to protect Asgard, but I will not play this game."
"Loki is not wrong, father. You toy with us all, telling us whatever you need to in order to keep us under your heel. You could have stopped Loki's attack before it started."
"Enough!" Yells out Odin as he gets up. "You dare deft me?!"
"Should Asgard be threatened, I will be here. But until then, I choose Earth" having said his piece, Thor turn and storms out as the doors close behind him.
Odin sighs as he sits back down. "Everyone, you may leave." Turning to the guardian, it's as if he's saying everyone but you.
'There's goes my exit and vanishing to the next avenger.' Thought the counter guardian.
After everyone left, but the other invisible presence, Emiya reveals himself as he kneels, "Lord Odin"
"At ease, guardian."
Emiya stands as Odin gives his thanks, "On behalf of Asgard, I thank you for protecting the people and even our own. I cannot be sure of my son being here all the time. But it would ease my worries knowing that it's in safe hands"
"It was nothing. I appeared because I needed too. While I cannot be in the same mindset about humans, I can feel the sympathy there. His heart is in the right place, but it just needs a little push to do the right thing."
"Perhaps, but it may just be my worries for both of my sons. Tell me, crimson archer, is what I'm doing wrong?"
Thinking for a moment, Emiya responds, "I cannot be certain, while Loki wasn't wrong in the way he was thinking, it doesn't make him right for this failed attempt. While I can sympathize with Thor, it cannot stand him underestimating humans, even if they have grown weaker over the years. But that is changing now."
"Yes, the age of heroes, I saw it all when you helped the hero of war and the innovator. I shall be entering my Odinsleep soon, but I do wish you farewell, counter guardian."
With a nod, Emiya takes his leave by vanishing into blue motes.
Off in the corner, hidden from plain sight and out of Odins range, a woman with long, blond hair in an emerald dress with a green hair piece, appears blushing at how her love stood up to Odin.
'Ohh Emiya, you haven't changed at all. We will meet again in time. But I need to do this so we can be together' the woman vanished. As if never having been there in the first place.
Now, finding himself at the rainbow bridge, Thor looks back to his home and says, "Father, you do not understand. I... no, I am needed on Earth"
With that, he swings his hammer and flies past Heimdal and continues to Earth.

On the Isle of Silence. Loki was in the middle of thinking. Having the Enchantress on his side is already an advantage due to her magical powers and beauty. All he needs to take over is a good plan in place before things can truly begin.
Having sent the wrecking crew on Earth to get something from Stark as the smartest Gamma radiated genius, to having the Enchantress lead Thor to the shipping docs. Everything was set as he stages the doubt in Odin and killing up the troops in the Bifröst. Now, all he needs to do is deal with that red archer.
Who he has never seen until now. Thinking about it, the enchantress said something about a handsome archer in red saving her once, only for him to disappear the next morning which made her go back to the frost giants king and kill him so she can learn everything about magic.
Damn witch, at least she's still useful. Though it is concerning how she used to be in love with his brother only to quickly fall out of it and into another man who hasn't made another appearance since that day.
Now, all that's needed is for the enchantress to get him out of the picture and the plan can finally be set.
And done. I like how it turned out in the end. I'm probably missing a few things from the whole story, but I think I've covered about everything here so far. What are your thoughts? I'd love to know.
As for how I'm taking the next chapter, it's probably going to be a short one since the Ant-Man episode, Hank can easily deal with his attackers as shown on screen.
I think I'm going to keep it as the Avengers for some time since when they eventually break up, I'll have him helping Spiderman and the guardians of the galaxy. Which Spiderman will it be, I have no idea, but I can explain mixing the guardians here.
The first time we see the guardians of the galaxy; they look completely different to the ones from the show. My explanation will be there have been changes throughout the years being a part of the crew.
Not sure how I'm going to make it work, but I will as soon as I get to it. Anyway, have a good night, everyone.
