After our narrator walked out a woman that the others have never seen before walked into the srudio. And like she owned the place she sat down in the narrators seat.

"Where's the story?" She spoke up. The colleagues looked at eachother. One of them spoke up: "Sorry miss but we can't give out the story to outsiders before its published"

The woman glared at them. "Im not an outsider you idiot. I'm the new narrator."

Everyones eyes widened as she spoke. They whispered to eachother things like: "Where's (narrators name)?" "Did he got fired?"

The womans glare just grew and interrupted them. "I don't have time nor patience for this. I bet (directors first name) doesn't pay you for wasting time"

They gave her the stack of paper. They didn't knew what was happening, they have never heared someone dare say the directors first name.

The woman smirked contently and sat down. She looked over the papers. "Really? Sage? What even is that name?"

The others looked at her in confusion. "Whats wrong with it?" The woman just rolled her eyes and started reading the story.

"Straw Hats sailed towards the west side of Aabasta's biggest river. River's wound was healing well thanks to Chopper's medical knowledge."

The sound manager cut her off (by the way the only copy the studio has of the chapter is at the woman) "Whose River?" The woman glared at him. "I tought I'll give her a proper name. Got a problem with it?"

"Actually yes. I got a huge problem with it. You can't just rename a character in the middle ofthe story!"

"Then we'll record the whole thing again"

"We don't have the time for that!" He cut her off but she didn't let him win that easily. "I. Don't. Care. Now go back and do your job."

For some reason he wasn't in the mood for arguing and just went back. The woman cleared her throath and continued.

"River couldn't get the fact out of her head that Ace and Sabo spoke with the same concern towards her.

"Hey! Star-Kid!" Luffy called out to the younger. "Whats up?"

"I drew you!" He held up the paper in his hands. It was a colorful silly drawing. She couldn't lie it was cute. "Thanks. Its a good drawing" River wondered about her temporary captain's past. His brother was Portgas D Ace a pirate, his father is the head of the Revolutionary Army and his grandfather is Vice Admiral Garp. So could the boy be hiding more stuff?

As she was thinking they anchored at the delta of the Shandora river. They got on land but the super cute but strong Kungfu Dugongs stood in their way. Luffy beat them and they wanted to be aprentices and go with him. But the animals wouldn't be able to walk trough the desert so they got to get rid of them.

For their luck Riverknew exactly how to get rid of them becauseher friend taught her. She crouched in front of them and started doing hand signs as if communicating with them.

The Dugongs waved to them ad went back to the water. "Wow Star-Kid! How did you do that?"

"Let's keep that my secret, captain" she smiled proudly. "I mean its surprising you know things like that in velcro shoes" Luffy commented.

"Its better than wearing sandals on a winter island!" River bit back.

Luffy pouted and went to lead the group but Vivi pulled him back silently saying that he doesn't know where he's headed. They walked to Erumalu the town that was famous of the water suplies. It was a green oasis. More like it used to be. The crew got there after a very long wak. They were planning to buy suplies in the town but there were only ruins and dry sand. All plants dead the only people they could see were the few skeletons that most likely died from thirst and starvation.

As they were walking trough the town the ruins of the houses that used to be full of life and the breeze that came from the direction of the capital of Alabasta played an enigmatic tune.

River's toughts shifted to her past. The past that most of the Revolutionaries didn't knew about. This place was similar to the one that Iva had found her in.

She was small and fragile. Satrving and cold. After she got abandoned and her town was attacked by pirates she lost her hope. There were corpses everywhere she would look. She hadn't seen living people in weeks, until she heard footsteps. She tought the pirates came back to finish what they began. To finish the last few people off. She already accepted her fate when she saw the people coming towards her. They wore dark green cloaks carrying red flags with a black simbol on them. They weren't pirates thats for sure but then who were they? She didn't dareto move nor look away from them. One of them approached her. "Hey lil kid... what are you doing here?" Iva asked. His voice was filled with warmness and concern something she never experienced. His heart broke at the sight of theyung girl. That kids had to suffer like this.

She looked up at him, herhope starting to return. "Please...help..." she blurted out. He picked her up in his arms and pulled the hood off his head. "Do you wanna come with us?" he asked carefully as he looked down on her.

Her hair was a brownish blonde and covering herleft eye. Her righteye glinted with a nutbrown in the light. River nodded. She wanted to get out of this Hell on Earth.

He patted her head, slightly brushing her hair out of her eye. Her left eye was a bright blue sparkling in the sun. Her pupil in the shape of a star.

So the Revolutionaries took in the sufering girl and took care of her like their own. The ones that found her never spoke of her past again.

She had no idea why she remembered her past in a situation like this aft3r ten years. River tried to get rid of her toughts desperatelly without too much sucsess.

The crew saw her inner turmoil but they couldn't do anything about it, she would say that she's okay and other lies get out from under the question.

She snapped out of her toughts for a moment when the crew found a person in town. A living person to be specific. The man was digging down wards. The crew spoke to him but River didn't payed too much attention to the conversation so she didn't even knew the reason why they ended up sleeping there.

She turned from one side to another until she finally fell asleep."

The woman arrogantly put down the papers and grabbed her things. "Don't you dare waste my time tommorow" she said and walked out.

The others looked at eachother. They never expected to have the worst time at their workplace after years of working there.

The sound manager knew something wasn't right. He wasn't gonna let this woman have her way in HIS studio. After everyone went home only a few lights illuminating the studio he sent the record to the author ofthe story with a message attached:"SOS. Listen to this. You'll certainly won't like it."

And he walked out of the studio switching off the last few of the lights.
