Erza yawned and rubbed her sleepy eyes. Her room is dark as it was nighttime. She looked at the clock of her bedside drawer to check the time.
1:45 AM
Erza smacked her lips and her stomach rumbled with hunger. She had skipped dinner and gone straight to bed after a busy day of quests. So young Erza figured a small midnight snack wouldn't hurt anybody.
Erza is nine years old and her mother did say she had to eat lots to grow up healthy and strong.
Erza carefully tiptoed her way downstairs to the kitchen. For some odd reason Erza was really craving a meaty sandwich so with hastiness and skill, Erza assembled the best roast beef her little mind could muster up.
Erza quickly cleaned up the mess in the kitchen, putting the leftover ingredients back in their respective places. She grabbed a strawberry juicebox and a small bag of lemon chips before heading into the living room.
Erza scrolled through the movies on the Lacrima and found an entertaining enough movie to watch while she ate.
Erza's tastebuds felt like they were in heaven when she bit down onto a juicy piece of meat with the taste of mayo and fresh ripe tomato slices.
Erza felt like she was on cloud nine the entire time and let out a satisfied burp when she finished eating.
After throwing her trash away, Erza went to brush her teeth before settling into bed again. She patted her stomach and snuggled her teddy.
Life was all about the small simple things.
