Lucy stood there in her simple dress, bow in her hair. She disliked the parents she had in this life. Her mother was trying to force her to be a bully like her. Lucy's natural kind nature was starting to grate on her mother's nerves. She wondered what she would do if she snapped.
She cried every night. For Natsu. For Erza. For Gray. For Wendy. For Happy. For Levi. For Cana. The list went on and on as she recalled the faces of her guildmates and companions. If only she had her keys, things might be more bearable. She could feel their presence in this world but not their location.
She walked into the classroom for her first day of school. This was new to her. In her previous life, she had never gone to a public school, she had tutors for her lessons. At least she would be with other kids her age. She wondered how mad her mother would be if she made friends with the 'peasants'. Not that she cared that much. If she had her keys, things would be different.
Her eyes fell on a shock of blue hair being carried in by a small woman of Chinese descent.
"I'm sorry, my daughter gets very car sick. Is there a place I can set her down to rest until it passes?" The woman asked politely.
Lucy felt her heart start to hammer. Blue hair and motion sickness? No, it just couldn't be. The woman laid down the girl, and Lucy had to bite back a cry as Wendy lay sick and woozy on the mat.
She rushed over to the stricken girl. The woman smiled at her warmly. "Don't worry, young lady. She'll be fine soon."
Lucy knew that, but she could not help herself as she moved Wendy's head to her lap and started to run her fingers through her hair the way Erza had.
The teacher and Wendy's 'mother' looked on, surprised that Lucy knew how to tend to the stricken girl.
"L…" Wendy's eyes were open and looking up at her. "Lucy?" She whispered weakly.
"It's me, Wendy." She whispered back. "Just had to bring your motion sickness with you, didn't you?"
Strength was returning to the girl and tears were coming from her eyes. "I thought I would never see anyone else from home again. My guild mark is gone too."
Lucy held up her right hand. "Mine too. We got each other though. I won't let us be separated again."
Wendy nodded. "Thank you, Lucy."
"Remember to call me Chloe when we are not alone."
"Then I'm Marinette in public."
"That's a pretty name, though Wendy suits you better."

Lucy was brought out of her memories as the announcer on the phone showed Stoneheart, Ivan, brandishing Kim around and yelling at him. How she longed for her keys or even her whip. She took a deep breath and started to walk towards the exit. She would need to be on standby, just in case.

Wendy sped into the arena and threw herself high into the air. "Sorry, big guy. But I'm going to need you to let Kim down."
She focused, and a whirlwind wrapped around her right leg. She kicked outward, sending the wind to force open the stone hand and release Kim.
"Sky Dragon Leading Arrow!"
The spell worked and Kim dropped to the ground, and she wasted no time launching another attack.
"Sky Dragon Roar!" She released her breath attack, a funnel of wind that shoved the stone giant away from them.
Kim was looking at her like she had struck him. "Marinette…" He started.
"No time, I can only hold him off. My wind isn't strong enough to defeat something made of stone. Run away."
Without another word, Kim ran for safety. Stoneheart climbed from the wreckage of some bleachers and roared.
"Marinette?" He asked in confusion and pain. She noticed he was a bit taller than he was before.
"Ivan?" She asked in confusion. "What happened to you?"
A butterfly mask appeared over Ivan's face and he stopped.
"Hawkmoth, the person who gave me these powers, demands you to surrender the source of your power to him."
Wendy frowned. "Sorry, this isn't a power that can be freely given up."
"Then, I will take it from you once I beat you." Ivan roared and charged at her again.
She easily flipped over him and brought her arms down at his back.
"Sky Dragon Wing Attack!" The twin gusts of wind blasted him off his feet again.
She took this moment to cast further support magic on herself, increasing her strength and defenses to match her increased speed. She hoped it would be enough.
Ivan, no Stoneheart, rose and charged at her again.

Alya was running to the stadium as she nearly tripped over the small box on the ground before her. Like the holster with the keys she had found, she picked up the box. It had a hinged lid, and she wasted no time opening it. A bright pink light flashed out and a small red creature with black spots appeared.
"Hello," The creature greeted her.
"Wicked, you're some kind of Ladybug?" She asked the creature.
"You are taking this better than most. Yep, I'm the Ladybug Kwami, Tikki. A pleasure to meet you."
"My name is Alya." She greeted the tiny being. "So, are you going to grant wishes or give me superpowers?"
Tikki giggled. "Really sharp. Trixx would like you. I can grant you superpowers related to Creation, my concept. Just put in the earrings and tell me 'Tikki, spots on' to transform! You have a partner too, using the ring of the black cat. You have to work together to defeat the akumatized victim. I will explain more later, but your looking for a object to destroy that will release the Butterfly. You must catch and purify the Butterfly with your tool."
"My tool?"
"That's right. It's a magical Yo-yo. What's more, you have two superpowers you can use. Watch out, using either of them will start a timer that will leave you with only 5 minutes of power left before you change back."
"Got it." Alya donned the earrings. "Tikki, spots on!"

Chat Noir relished his freedom as he picked his way to the stadium where Stoneheart was. He arrived and landed on the roof. He started to prepare himself to join the fight when he noticed Stoneheart was already engaged in a fight. The stone giant punched a small framed girl who someone blocked the blow before flipping away. He felt bad cause she had no suit to protect her like he did. However, he was worried if he jumped in, she would lose focus and take one of those massive fists to her body.
There was the sound of someone landing beside him. He looked over to see a girl in red and black. This must be the partner his Kwami told him about.
"Hey, my name is Chat Noir." He greeted her.
"Still working on my name," The girl admitted. "But I'm fond of Scarabella."
"If it helps, I like that one too." He chuckled.
"Scarabella it is." She smiled back. She looked down at the fight. "My Kwmai didn't mention two partners, did yours?"
He shook his head. "No. I was hoping you would know something." He admitted.
Scarabella leaned over the rail a little. "I can't tell much about her at this distance. I wonder how she is blocking and deflecting those punches with such a tiny body."
A female voice spoke from the side and both looked up to see Chloe, Chat's childhood friend standing there.
"You make a big mistake underestimating Wendy," She said with an evil smirk. "She might be tiny, but she is mighty. Just watch, this is about to end."
The heroes looked forward again and noticed a ring of wind had formed around the two combatants.

"You can't keep this up forever," Stoneheart roared as Wendy yet again deflected his attack. "Give up and allow me to take your power for Hawkmoth."
"You don't listen," She sighed as she grabbed the wind and pulled it to her, her skirt flaring up just a little as power ran through her body. "Besides, this is over. I didn't think I would get the time to gather this much wind."
Only now, did her opponent look around him. "Hey, where did this wind come from."
Wendy gathered her power and spread her arms wide. "Dragon Slayer Secret Arts! Shattering Light! SKY DRILL!"
A large blast of wind struck Stoneheart and slammed him into the side of the stadium. He other hand opened and something flew out and was completely destroyed by the blast. A small purple butterfly flew out and desperately winged away before the fierce girl could notice.

Hawkmoth fell to his knees. Right before his minion had been defeated, he had looked through Stoneheart's eyes. He did not see the little girl in her school uniform. No, he saw a massive dragon covered in white feathers, roaring at him. What had he gotten himself into?

Master Fu watched as the girl blasted the Akumatized victim and defeated him, for now. The butterfly was escaping quickly, and his heroes made no move to advance into the arena. He could not blame them. The girl had devastated the area with her final spell. He could not argue about the results though.
"Very interesting." Fu mused. "Very interesting indeed."

Scarabella looked on in shock as the red-clad girl approached the defeated Ivan. Such power was unbelievable. Chloe beside her put her hands in her hands.
"She overdid it," Chloe said. "She is more like Natsu every day."
"Why are you even here?" Chat asked her.
"Moral support," Chloe replied as she turned and walked away. "Might want to make yourselves scarce, unless you want to take the fall for this damage."
"I wonder." Said Scarabella who unwound her Yo-yo. She tossed it into the air. "Miraculous Scarabella!" She called. A swarm of ladybugs swept out over the arena and repaired the damage caused in the battle with the Akuma.
"Huh, I'm glad that worked," Chloe admitted. "You two head off the news. You should take the credit for that victory."
"That feels scummy." Chat Noir remarked and Scarabella had to agree with him.
"Better two superheroes in masks get the credit. She doesn't need the news hounding her footsteps asking how she can control her magic."
Chloe was gone after she finished that sentence. Scarabella looked at Chat who shrugged. "I think she's right. We need to keep the heat off that Wendy girl."
Scarabella nodded. Then did a double take as the girl was helping Ivan out of the stadium. From this closer angle, she could tell it was Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

Wendy collapsed on the ground after Ivan walked off. She had not used so much magic power since she was born in this world. She panted as she consumed the air to refill her power. She needed to get a lot stronger if she was going to open the Anima to get her and Lucy home.
Lucy came around the corner. "Well done, other than the massive damage. Glad that was fixed or you would be in so much trouble."
Wendy laughed weakly. "Sorry, not done a high-level spell like that in ages. Besides, you joined the properly damaged squad some time ago."
Lucy pouted. "I see. Shall we take a bus back then instead of me carrying you?"
Wendy felt her blood drain from her face. "NO! Please Lucy, I'll be good…"
Lucy laughed and helped Wendy onto her back. Wendy wrapped her arms around Lucy's neck and snuggled against her.
"You weigh nothing, Wendy." She sighed. "We need to get you home so Mira can feed you up."
Wendy smiled at that. "I doubt it will make me much bigger."
"Your body is frozen at the age we were sent back, I think. So, you can go back to your true body without issues. At least, that's what I hope."
Wendy was already snoring gently against her back. Lucy smiled softly. "Rest up, Wendy. I get the feeling this isn't over."

Alya arrived in her bedroom and let the transformation drop. "I'm so confused." She admitted to Tikki as the Kwami appeared.
"So are we. She's far too powerful to belong in this world."
"So, what do we do?"
"Nothing for now. She is helping you, after all. But it would be best if you tried to get close to her like Alya. Maybe you can learn what her goal here is."
Alya smiled and went to find something for Tikki to eat.
