Well, Harry was not having a nice day at all, first, he had to rework and repair the finished forge, secondly, he had to work all night to finish the arrows the hunting party was going to use for the big hunt the next day, and finally, he got beat up by a woman for taking so long to finish repairing her pan.

"They are not paying me, they didn't follow my instructions about the forge and equipment, and that foul-mouthed woman wouldn't even know what a cooking pan is had it not been for me, did she have to hit me with it? I guess this is how it got dented in the first place, I feel sorry for the poor man that she has as her husband."

Peter laughed and looked at something he made that was hanging from the nearby wall. "Harry stop complaining, think of it as practice for when you finally propose to Vandal's sister, it doesn't take a genius to figure she is very interested in you." To which Harry said if he dared to do that he might as well paint a bullseye on his own back, not to mention his symbiote would not let him hear the end of it.

As the days continued the food shortage was dealt with, the tribe and village were thriving by most standards, they raise animals for milk, meat, and hides, they planted crops in communal farming, and thanks to the forge they made sturdier and longer-lasting homes. All in all the village was growing by leaps and bounds.

Peter was not simply sitting around doing nothing, if Harry was the unofficial blacksmith, Peter was the unofficial school teacher, and sometimes they had to help a lady with a particularly difficult birth. Peter was not teaching anything that anyone would call extraordinary, or extraordinary back in their world, reading, writing and some basic arithmetic, that is it. Peter figured the quicker they went to keeping records in a written format the better.

The math helped people develop a system of barter and trade that was fair and yet it showed how much each thing was worth, little did he know he just started the concept of for-profit business without even knowing it. As people more people learned the things Peter taught, more people became apprentices with Harry, some because they wanted to learn and some because they wanted anything they could do to get away from the math questions Peter would ask.

2 years later 25,003 BC

In two years they had three fully staffed and working forges, four material mining crews, and four women to take care of the clients that would not take any shit from them at all. Peter went from having one classroom to being the Principal of his school with ten classrooms, and ten teachers, people from other villages sent their kids to study in it. Some people went as far as to leave the village where they were born and move to the one the school was at.

Vandal and his family were pretty much in charge of the village and they were happy and grateful they were found by these two men, the village in two years went from what one would call a modest village to a small town. There was never any real danger of fires since the town was redesigned by Harry to allow people to get water and put out fires as quickly as they happened.

The new aqueduct brought many benefits, it brought the era of indoor plumbing, heated baths, and even toilets, which would send all waste to a drying pond which was later used as either fertilizer or even compost. This means every single home in the entire town had access to water, so small things like fires were essential things that never happen.

It did happen once or twice per year, especially when a little girl began to try and learn how to cook or a new blushing bride trying to cook something new for her husband, but all in all, life became as Harry would tell Peter closer to the Roman Age than anything else he could think of.

The one thing that caught them all by surprise is that both Harry and Peter had built what essentially is a Spider Shrine, to which they would pray at least once per week, they did this to update Arachne on their activities and to see if she had any tasks to give to her champions. The thing is that surprise sometimes leads to curiosity and curiosity leads to questions, which makes people even more curious.

The small spider altar in two years had become an actual church, which actual priests and almost the entire town joined as worshipers, this means without knowing it both Peter and Harry had also started the very concept of organized religion. They called it the Arachne Faith, and thanks to an early made printing press, each had a holy text about the teachings and rules of the faith.

Peter laughed when he mentioned that one day they might have a Spider Choir, to which Harry put a stop it reminded him they could also have Spider Inquisitions and Spider Holy Wars, so he better drop it.

As time went by Peter became rather intimate with the lady that he met when he first arrived in this world, Harry was doing his best to be friendly with Vandal's sister, but he was trying to keep it as hands-off as possible, but after two years, two whole years of asking him out on what essentially was a date and getting refused by hearing he was busy was enough.

If her brother was angry about what she was about to do, though, they would simply have to move to another place and start their village, but she secretly hoped that her brother would want her to be happy. As Harry slept on his bed late at night he had no clue as to what the hell happened but he went to sleep alone and the next morning he found himself in the arms of his friend sleeping with him, and she was as naked as the day she was born.

For some strange reason she was smiling, and there was a scent in the air, and he began to wonder what the hell happened to him last night. "You honestly are going to tell me you don't remember? Fine, she came in kissed you passionately on your lips, and took her clothes off as you two proceeded to make out like there was no tomorrow, and before you know it, you two were at it like a pair of animals in heat!"

Harry asked his symbiote why did she do anything to stop it when she first tried to kiss him. She simply answered she wanted to know her intentions and when she wanted to stop it it was far too late because she was utterly shocked at how brazen her intentions were. So he went from being the leader of the town blacksmiths to being the official brother-in-law of the town chief.

Peter was laughing when he heard what Harry told him happened to him, and he was laughing so hard during the wedding at the Spider Temple that he was in tears. His wife was there to give him something to dry his tears since she thought that her husband was just being sentimental about it. "Vandal I honestly don't know how something like this ended up happening."

Vandal looked at him and smiled, "My sister probably got worried that some other woman might want to claim you for herself so she decided to decide to mark her territory before someone else stole you, I think that waiting two whole years was simply a show of consideration, my wife claimed me in less than a month."

Vandal had become a lot stronger and the meteorite that caused these changes somehow spread through the drinking water and had begun to make the people that lived in the area improve as time went by, with basic education, a steady food supply, and better living conditions had also helped immensely. Alliances between the small town and neighboring villages had been formed, but what shocked Vandal and the other five people that were nearly hit by that meteor was the fact that they didn't seem to have grown any older except for the little Girl that fully matured over the years but once she turns 26 she too stopped aging.

40 years later 24,963 BC

Decades came and went the villages became a town and even small cities, the small town became the capital of a nation before too long, and life prospered, Harry and Peter were the proud fathers of three sons and four daughters, but life was never without problems or conflicts, eventually, other places copied what they had done and more nations came into existence.

They even went as far as to form their religions based on an animal they admired, and that is when they decided to call the Spider worshipers heretics, the faith the worship of demons and other foul and nasty things, which lead to the first of many wars. Kingdom against Kingdom, friend against a former friend, brother against brother.

The thing that Peter wished would never happen had begun, the era of warfare had started and they used faith as the excuse to cause it, but in reality, it was just plain envy and greed. Arachne had given Harry and Peter tasks as the years went by, it seems the immortality that was gained by sleeping near that meteor was not inherited by the children, however, it did extend their lives to 244 years and so Peter, Harry, and their wives watched as their children would grow and eventually die of old age.

They had hundreds of grandchildren and even descendants, but the pain of watching their children grow old and die before them was never an easy thing or pleasant, nor it was something they could or would easily forget. The capital was attacked countless times, the city was nearly burned completely a few times and when people finally found out how to make explosives the temple that had stood for generations was destroyed, but the thing is the temple almost seemed alive because any damage would repair itself before people even noticed.

900 years later 24,063 BC

Hundreds of years went by quickly, quicker than anyone realized, the Capital still stood even though massive changes had occurred in the way people constructed their buildings and the way the roads were built, but deep down nothing really changed, Harry and his wife were still in charge of the blacksmiths and Peter and his wife were still in charge of the teachers, after hundreds of years they finally stopped having children, it was simply too boring being with the same partner so unless their bring in other partners it was just too boring to have sex.

So what did Peters and Harry's wives decide to do well to build their husbands a harem to enjoy the pleasures of sex because their wives refuse to give up on sex?

As time went by and the wars with the neighboring kingdoms became quiet, the forge and the school Harry and Peter were in charge of had so many new teachers and blacksmiths that they felt that they no longer had anything to do so they decided to explore the world, Peter called it to go for a walk.

63 years later 24000 BC

They eventually made it across the sea, it appears that Harry is a blacksmith for so long also allowed him enough time to develop his shipwright skills since they reached the next continent largely due to the fact the ship they went on was so safe.

They made it to land with animals their people had never seen before to them it was an amazing discovery, but to Peter and Harry they knew exactly where they were, the dark continent, the land that one day would be fought up and carved by invading conquerors to expand their nation's colonial power, the continent they know as Africa.

Their knowledge of the continent made travel through it quite easier but not completely the land had a few changes that they never expected, for one they found that they were not the only culture that valued education and had a vast urban city as their capital.

Wakanda was a true sight to see, the city was vibrant, the building was made of metal and glass, and they stood hundreds of feet higher than the castle they called home, they explored the city and enjoyed the music, the sights, and especially the food. Peter got hooked on this one dish that he went to the same restaurant to eat every single day.

It was a stew of some sort that had so many things in it, it would be like if they took every single root vegetable and stewed it with peppers and chicken broth, the thing had little to no meat in it, but because of the richness of the broth, it felt like it didn't need it.

Harry however did his best to learn the language of the people, his symbiote told him why to bother learning the language like that, find someone that knows it, devour them whole, and due to their bond, he would learn everything that person knew, well Harry was quick to mention that what she suggested could either cause an incident or could label them both murderers.

It turns out it was a moot point in the end because a band of what appeared to be raiders attacked the restaurant they were eating at and from the fear in the voices of people these people were not good people, so Harry and Peter fought them until one of them made the mistake of trying to stab an innocent child.

Harry's symbiote had one thing she hated more than anything and that was to see an innocent child be harmed, when the symbiote saw what was going to happen she wrapped around the attacker and as she suggested before devoured him completely, which caused every man woman and child present to crap their metaphorical pants right there and then from pure fear alone.

Just as she told Harry he soon learned everything the person knew, it seems the group attacking was a local group trying to obtain money and resources to overthrow the local royal family, and in fact, their leader was a distant relative of the current Chieftain.

When the warriors of this nation finally showed up, they demanded they surrendered, and Harry knew that Peter knew everything he did thanks to the connection symbiotes all shared. As they were brought before the Chieftain he saw the two men and told his guards to release them from their bonds, for some odd reason this man could feel that he could trust them for some reason.

"Welcome travelers, I do hope that you have found your time in my beloved Wakanda to be both exciting and entertaining, it seems you both been frequent customers of my Aunt's restaurant, she had mentioned you both showing interest in our tribe but she could never understand what you were saying that told us you were foreigners. Do you understand me?"

Harry wanted to answer but Peter simply was a little too blunt, "Yeah, we understand you alright, we got these life forms bonded to us and when those I guess should call them rebels instead of crooks attacked the restaurant, my friend's bonded partner devoured one of them completely which in turn allowed us to know everything that person knew."

The Chieftain looked at him, "Fascinating, never thought that the transfer of mental information could be done that way. Truly fascinating. But mind telling me why you prefer to call them rebels rather than plain criminals?"

Harry decided to avoid the potential time bomb that was headed their way and he quickly explained that the men who attacked were doing that to gather resources to launch a coup against him and his family, to take the throne, and he went even further and told him who their leader was.

To say that the man was shocked beyond belief was easy to see on his face, "I see, my cousin is still angry that I was chosen to be Chieftain rather than him, you see, our people do not simply inherit the throne from father to son, the next Chieftain must prove themselves in intelligence, strength, and ability, this is done to ensure that only the best becomes Chieftain, I won the right of succession against my cousin, who is still a little sour about it."

The Chieftain looked at Harry and Peter and they could see he had more questions. "I thank you for sharing with us this information, but I still have to ask what is your purpose in traveling to my tribe. I doubt it was to warn us of the potential actions of my cousin, since before you didn't even know that."

Harry could see that this was coming and it was his right to ask something if it concerned the safety of his family and his people. "You may think of us as young, but trust us we have been alive for hundreds of years, as my friend and I always find ourselves with the problem most immortals face, boredom. So to fight that boredom we have developed a hunger for knowledge."

He pointed at Harry, "He might not look it, but Harry here is the Master Blacksmith of the nation where we come from, and I am the chief educator, or so we were, till a younger man decided that it was time for us to retire from our positions, and for their benefit we did."

Harry looked at the Chieftain who had this look of doubt on his face, "And to make friends with other cultures, to expand our knowledge and to share what we know with our friends, all for a brighter and peaceful future, you can relax, we mean you no harm."

A woman stepped from beside the Chieftain and looked at Harry, "Many invaders first enter land under the flag of peace and friendship only to later show their true colors and attempt to take what is not theirs. How can we know what you say is true with only one show of good faith? How can we know that you will not try and be worse than the traitor that is according to you trying to murder my husband?"

Harry looked at her and began to nod, "True, trust is not easily built but easily lost, then how about this then, do you swear on the web of life that on your honor you are our friends? If you do, then we will share all of our knowledge with you, and believe me this will turn whatever that cousin of the Chieftain attempts be futile, it could also improve life for your people in numerous ways."

"What do you mean by the web of life? I am not familiar with that expression." Peter simply told him that they were immortal due to being the champion of the spider goddess, and a vow made on the web of life would instantly show to them if the person is a friend,

The Chieftain looked concerned and looked at Peter and Harry, "We worship a Panther Deity, we would need to speak with our priests and oracle to communicate with our god to see if we would be allowed to make an oath to another deity. As such and seeing the late hour of the day I suggest that you come and sleep in my home, so that you may wait for the response from the deity my tribe worships."

Peter looked at Harry and began to laugh, "Say, Harry, why don't we do something for the chieftain as another show of good faith and show him some of the knowledge and skills we will share if they become our friends?"

"Peter I have said it before and I will say it again, you often make decisions with your stomach rather than your head, fine, since my wife is not here with us, I guess it is my turn to prepare our dinner. No ma'am, if you kindly show me to your kitchen, I shall prepare food you probably find strange but I assure you it is quite safe and healthy."

The woman looked at him and told Harry to follow him while saying we shall see over and over again. He was shocked at how rudimentary pots, pans, and other cooking instruments were. He looked at the area, and sure enough, he found that they killed a large deer it seems, they had vegetables, roots, and other herbs.

Harry opened his pocket dimension storage and pulled out a few instruments that made the wife of the Chieftain and three other women gasp in amazement. With cutting tools in each hand and the two hands he grew from his back he began to butcher and carve the dead animal, it was ready for cooking within seconds.

He then took the grains and a few herbs and began to grind them into flakes, knowing what his friend preferred he began to prepare the substance until he made several hundred long strings made from the grains and herbs he turned into basically a dust-like substance.

When the wife asked him what did he do with the grains, he told her, he made the grains and herbs into what they call flour, which can be used in various ways, one of which is what he did, make noodles, another to make bread of various forms, and flavors, The wife nodded her head she also mentions that she was familiar with using the grains to make bread but not that they could be made into a finer form by grinding them down as he did.

"As we said we are going to share some of our knowledge as a sign of good faith." He prepared the meat and began to cook it and once broiled and baked he cut it into small bite-size portions, he prepared a pot of water and did something they had never seen someone do before he boiled it and into it, he places some crushed cane and crushed fruits. While the soup cooked he turned towards the oven and could not shake his head at what this tribe considered an oven.

He took some of the cane, flour, and fruits and decided to bake a small cake as a dessert. It didn't take too long, and by the time the cake was done cooking, he heard the pot where the soup was whistling, and that is when he took it off the fire and began to wait for a few minutes.

"Why are you waiting?" Harry looked at the woman and smiled, "Because it is too hot to be served as I said, a show of good faith if your husband and others who are going to eat this food burn their lips because the food is too hot, that would be a poor show of good faith." She laughed for the first time since she met Harry.

So they sat together and they began talking about cooking, and cooking techniques, Harry felt like he was teaching a new batch of students, but he did promise to share with them their knowledge. No harm in doing this, no harm at all.

Well, at least that was the plan, as the women listening asked more and more questions, some of which Harry was not too comfortable answering, such as questions about his private and intimate life.

One woman asked him why is he cooking if that is a woman's job. He told her that it was in his values that his wife was his partner and so they took turns doing things for their family, he would cook one day, do the laundry another, wash and clean another, as Harry put it everything he did to help her was his way to declare and show her his love for his wife.

This made a few of the women giggle, and a couple of them nod their heads, one of them flat out asked him how many children he has, and that is when Harry became a little less happy in his tone, he told him that he had dozens of children and most of them he got to watch them as they grew up, grew old, and died of old age.

This made the wife of the Chieftain regret having her handmaiden ask him such a thing, she wanted to know if he had any experience as a parent, but to a parent to see one child die before they did was painful, but to see so many she figured it was closure to torture.
