While going for the Security Control Tower our heroes came across the various riots present in New Domino City. The Commons were now rebeling against the Superiors, tired of being used for their fun and being considered inferior beings, and at the same time came the announcement that Yugo dropped the tournament (being sent away from the bracelet) and the King in person, Jack Atlas would duel Sergei in the semifinal, at the same time there was no way to get to Roget before the Friendship Cup was finished, because he locked himself in with thousand of guards outside.
"That Sergei is the monstrousity that hurt Zuzu in her last match, it just disgust me..." Celina said while looking at the screen.
"I'm sure Jack will give him what he deserves, then we will save Zuzu." Yuya said staying beside her.
And so it happened, because without much trouble the King outplayed the crazy robot, who also during the duel disobeyed his master, which made Roget furious, and in the he also fall off the road, his destiny unknown. (Ps. Hoping he's dead, I personally hate that thing)
But then the King called Yuya himself for his rematch as descripted by the rules of the tournament.
"Are you really gonna duel the King, Yuya? And what is the point of this?" Celina asked needy of answers.
After reflecting a moment he answered.
"I think I know what Jack is trying to do, he wants to make the city united again through our duel, making as spectacular as possible"
"Is it even possible to reverse a so deep fracture in this society with just a duel?" Celina had doubts about this.
"Well, it's difficult to say, but we must try, our mission is to keep all dimensions safe as Lancers, and you already see I'm pretty proud of my dueltaining, I know that if I'll give my best I'll be able to reach everyone's hearts" Yuya smiled at her
"He went through my heart too after all, and it was a pretty sturdy one, so maybe..." Celina thought as a smile crept on her face as well.
Yuya noticed it and couldn't help but making a commnent about it.
"You see Celina? Smiling only does good for people, and you have such a beatiful smile, it's so nice to see it more often."
Celina could only blush and going back to her usual indifferent expression giving him a light punch on the chest.
"I like your dueltaining ok, just don't go overboard now" She said before looking at him in the eyes.
"Just don't do anything stupid ok? We have a misson to complete!" She reminded him.
"Don't worry, I won't! Just prepare for the most awesome duel of your life!" Yuya said before running towards the arena.
And so the Turbo duel between Yuya and Jack Atlas began, with each move and counter move everyone in the city became mesmerized with it, the commons stopped their riots and even the Security joined the in the circuit and at the moment we are on the last stands for both Duelists.
"So Yuya, what are you gonna do now? Cowering in fear before my Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend?" Jack asked his opponent.
"That monster sure is impressive, as so are Atlas's dueling abilities, Yuya will have to give his all to do this" Celina thoughts while watching closely every turn, she was on her runner too, following them.
"I don't think so Jack, Pendulum Summon, my monsters are ready to swing into action!" Yuya answered soon after.
And with that he created a combination where his 5 apparently weak monsters would attack Tyrant (3500 Att) without taking damage because of a spell card and for each one he lost 800 Attack points, reducing him to only 300 before the final attack which reduced Jack's Life Points to 0.
Even the King himself smiled while stopping his runner, Yuya did the same and in a sign of respect he raised his arm procloaming him as the new King!
"He really did it... not only he is a fantastic dueltainer but an incredible duelist too, I can't wait to have the chance to duel you myself Yuya, but that will have to wait until the end of our mission!"Celina said with a solemn smile.
Celina stopped her runner near them, and got off removing her helmet, then run to Yuya.
"That really was the best duel I've ever seen, congratulations, new King!" She half joked on his new title, shaking his hand.
"You embarass me like this, but thanks Celina"
He said while blushing.
"Your girlfriend, I presume?" Jack asked nochalantly.
Both Yuya and Celina blushed like tomatoes.
"He/She's just a friend" They both said.
As Jack laughed a little soon an helicopter showed up on the place, offering to take them directly to Roget's tower, the High Counsil was helping them before retiring, all because of Declan brilliant planning.
"We are coming Roget, you'll pay for what you've done!" Celina affirmed.
"And Zuzu will finally be safe" Yuya added.
The duo was ready to the final act in the Synchro dimension.
