Chapter 21 General Slime
(Night.)
"Defeat the demon king! Death to the demons! Defeat the demon king! Death to demons!" The crowd continues to shout as they hunt for Kazuma's group.
Haruka looks up in relief as he stands on the roof of a house with the others. Sighing, he turns his attention back to the rest of the group.
"I think it's safe here." Haruka says a little more relaxed.
"I told you not to get involved with these crazy people." Kazuma says as he crosses his arms.
"Bunch of lunatics!" Megumin mutters angrily.
"Ahh! Why can't we go and talk to them?" Darkness says while his cheeks flush slightly.
"I wouldn't recommend that." Wiz says, walking a bit along the roof and seeing the people below. "They look pretty angry."
"Why are they acting like that?!" Aqua whimpers, crouching on the ground and crying into her knees. "I'm their goddess!"
"Are you up to this Goddess business?" Megumin asks.
"Right, right! Guys, we need to get out of here as soon as possible." Haruka says, trying to appease.
"And what can we do?" Kazuma asks as he crosses his arms.
"We'll figure out the plan later. For now, we'll go to where Junglaider is." Haruka says, looking around.
"Junglaider?" Wiz asks confused.
"It's that red two-wheeled carriage I was with." Megumin says explaining to Wiz.
"Ahh..." Yunyun feels a chill. "I don't really like speed."
"But where did you leave the Junglaider?" Kazuma said, approaching Haruka.
"I left it in a small garage near the entrance." Haruka explains to Kazuma. "If we go over the houses, we can get to her."
"No!" Aqua shouts. "I'm not leaving this town until I solve this problem with the hot springs!" Aqua waves her arms while throwing a little tantrum.
"Do you really want to protect those people who wanted to hurt you?" Kazuma asks while paying attention to what Aqua will answer.
"Yes..." Aqua crouches down hugging her legs. "I am the Goddess of the Cult of Axis. So, I must protect my faithful." Aqua says a little wistfully.
Everyone looks at Kazuma, waiting for the boy's answer. Kazuma closes his eyes and lets out a sigh, he looks down and back up at Aqua.
"All right. We'll go to the hot springs." Kazuma says in a slightly tired tone of voice.
"Really?" Aqua looks at Kazuma with a few tears in her eyes.
"But if there's nothing much there, we'll leave right away. Understand?" Kazuma says, looking seriously at Aqua.
Aqua nods in agreement.
"Right. Let's go!" Kazuma says and everyone nods.
[...]
"Let's go! They can't have gone that far!" A man holding a torch shouts to the crowd.
"Let's go! They must be close by!" A woman holding a shovel says.
The people keep walking as they hunt for the group. They keep walking through the streets to find the boys and girls.
Haruka stares out from a wall, giving a signal to the others as he walks down an alley to avoid the people.
Kazuma follows Haruka, then Aqua, then Megumin, Yunyun, Wiz and lastly, Darkness follows the others.
The group hides behind a dumpster and watches the people passing by on the street.
"What now?" Megumin whispers.
"Kazuma and I will pick you up on our shoulders, then we'll use our Amazon's Boxes to make it easier to get to the Junglaider." Haruka explains the plan.
"Why don't you turn into Riders and go straight?" Aqua asks.
"Because the explosion we'd cause would attract their attention." Kazuma explains to the Goddess.
"Ohhhh!" Aqua says impressed as she hadn't thought of that.
"Oh my God!" Kazuma mutters as he wrinkles his forehead.
Haruka activates his Amazon's Boxes and goes over to Megumin, putting her on his back he goes over to Yunyun and Darkness.
"Okay guys, I'm jumping." Haruka says and jumps to the rooftops.
"Ouch, ouch..." Kazuma activates his Amazon's Boxes and takes Aqua and Wiz in his arms.
"You'd better not lure me!" Aqua says a little annoyed.
"That'll be later." Kazuma says and prepares to jump.
"Wait, what are you- Ahhh!" Aqua shouts as Kazuma jumps to the rooftops.
[...]
"Right! We're here." Haruka lands in the doorway of an abandoned house and leaves the three girls on the ground.
"It was really fun jumping across the rooftops!" Megumin says as she spins around.
"I think I got a bit seasick..." Yunyun says as she tries to stand up.
"Ahh... the feeling of being carried and having the wind hit my hair is so good..." Darkness says as she breathes heavily and has a slight blush on her cheeks.
"Oh my God..." Haruka mutters before Kazuma lands beside her. "Did anyone follow you?"
"I don't think so. Is the Junglaider still there?" Kazuma says, releasing Aqua and Wiz.
"Ahh... these trips aren't for me..." Wiz says, trying to hold in his nausea.
"Ah, Wiz! Stop being weak!" Aqua sneers as she laughs at poor Litch.
"Hey... guys... you need to see this..." Megumin says while keeping her gaze fixed on the house.
"What Megumin? What have you got there..." Haruka froze when she saw what was inside.
"What? What's in there..." Kazuma is shocked to see two Junglaiders inside the house.
"Look, there's a note here!" Aqua goes over to the other Junglaider and takes the note. "Dear Kazuma Sato, I give you this welcome gift as the new Kamen Rider Amazon Neo. Signed: Decade."
"...THAT'S ITIIIII!" Kazuma shouts to the four watching in excitement.
PAUSE
"Let's go! We've got to find them!" A woman holding a giant fork shouts to the crowd of people.
"YEEEHHH!" The people shout while anxious and excited.
Until they all hear a roaring noise mixed with an engine. They look over and see two lights rapidly approaching.
"YAAHUUUUU!" Kazuma shouts as he jumps over the people.
"I'M GOING TO DIE!" Aqua screams in despair as she holds onto Kazuma's chest.
"AHHH this is so wonderful!" Darkness sighs as he holds onto Kazuma's back.
Kazuma lands on the ground and speeds off with Haruka and the other girls following him.
"What was that?" A woman speaks up in surprise.
"I don't know..." A man says in shock.
"Forget it! Let's follow them!" An old woman says, pointing to where they're going.
"They're going to the hot springs!" A woman speaks in surprise as she quickly stands up.
[...]
"Aqua..." Kazuma says.
"Uh?" Aqua mutters, still with her eyes closed and clinging to Kazuma.
"You can let go now, we're almost there." Kazuma says as he speeds up the bike.
"Just a little longer..." Aqua mutters as she clings tighter to Kazuma.
"Ahhh God..." Kazuma sighs as he looks up.
"I think we're getting there." Darkness says as he turns to look ahead.
"Guys!" Haruka shouts as she approaches Kazuma. "Looks like there's someone blocking the entrance."
"And what do we do to get them to let us through?" Yunyun asks as he looks ahead.
"Go over." Megumin says to the two of them. "Just walk over."
"Look, it's not such a bad idea!" Kazuma pushes the bike, speeding it up even more.
Aqua screams in despair as Kazuma accelerates the bike.
"She really doesn't like riding the Junglaider." Megumin says as she watches Kazuma accelerate.
"Or she doesn't like the way Kazuma rides. Wiz says, looking at Kazuma.
"Enough of that! Let's go!" Haruka says as she speeds up her Junglaider
[...]
"What's that?" One of the guards looks at the fast-approaching lights.
"Are those... children?" The other guard speaks while narrowing his eyes.
The two lights approaching the two make a slight turn, diverting their path to the walls around the two, the lights pass over the guards. Passing over them and entering the gate.
"What was that?" The guard asks.
"Those carriages ran over us?" The guard said in surprise.
"We need a day off."
"Of course."
PAUSE
"And we're here!" Kazuma stops his Junglaider, causing Aqua to pull him a little and Darkness to slap his back.
"Did you have to go that fast?" Aqua says, getting off the bike while feeling a little dizzy.
"Ah, but it was fun." Darkness says a little excitedly as she gets off the Neo Junglaider.
"That's because you like an adrenaline rush, don't you?" Kazuma says as he gets off the Neo Junglaider.
"We're here." Haruka stands next to Kazuma and the girls get off his Junglaider.
"We're here, now what?" Megumin says as she gets off the Junglaider.
"Now we have to see what's poisoning the hot springs!" Aqua runs ahead of the group, up a small hill.
"Aqua, wait! Don't go so fast!" Haruka shouts as she follows the Goddess.
"Well, let's go!" Kazuma says and follows Haruka and Aqua, with the others following.
[...]
"Look, the water is black!" Haruka crouches down and looks at the hot spring, which is stained black.
"It's poisoned, very poisoned!" Aqua says angrily. "Let's go higher!"
The group continues walking until they reach the top of the hot springs, they hide behind a rock and see a figure in the distance.
"Is that a man?" Yunyun asks.
"Does he look... sad?" Megumin says a little confused.
"Or depressed." Darkness says, looking up.
"Is he going to throw himself into the water?" Wiz asks looking at the man.
"No... I think he's just leaning against the water." Haruka says looking at the man.
"Maybe he's the one who was poisoning the hot springs!" Aqua says as she starts running towards the man.
"And she's acting impulsively... again!" Kazuma says as he follows Aqua.
"Hey, you!" Aqua shouts, drawing the man's attention.
"Umh?" The man looks back at Aqua. "What do you want?"
"Aqua, did you have to run like that?" Kazuma says as he approaches the Goddess with the others.
"It's just that this guy is very suspicious while he's near the spa!" Aqua says, pointing at the man.
"What? Why would I be suspicious!" The man says a little nervously. "I'm just here enjoying the spa!"
"Then why did the spot where you leaned turn black?" Yunyun asks, pointing at the hot spring.
"Oh, that... It's well, it's just..." The man tries to brush it off, but he notices Wiz and looks away.
"I know you from somewhere..." Wiz mumbles while looking thoughtful.
"What? No, I'm sure you don't." The man continues to look away.
"Hans! Hans is you!" Wiz says excitedly as she looks at the man.
"Do you know him?" Haruka asks Litch.
"Yes! We know each other! Do you remember me, Hans?" Wiz approaches the man.
"Sorry, you must have me confused with someone else, I'm one of the supervisors!" Hans tries to brush it off.
"Long time no see, Hans! It's me, Wiz, Wiz a Litch!" Wiz comes even closer to Hans, while having a smile on his face.
"Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about, I don't even know what Litch is!" Hans turns his back to the group.
"Look, if I remember correctly, you're a Poison Slime mutant, right?" Wiz says as he grabs Hans' arm.
"Slime!" Darkness shudders with excitement at hearing the name.
"Death Slime?" Kazuma questions, looking suspiciously at the man.
"Poisonous is it? That explains a lot." Haruka says, until he feels a tug on his shirt.
"Hey, Haruka!" Yunyun mutters, looking a little nervous.
"What is it?" Haruka asks, looking at the girl.
"If he really is a Slime, we've got very big problems!" Yunyun whispers sounding cold.
"What, why?" Haruka asks looking worried.
"Enough of this!" Hans shouts angrily and turns to the group. "Wiz, the agreement was that you would maintain the castle barrier and not get in our way!"
"What, am I in your way?!" Wiz says nervously and apologizes. "I just wanted to say hi because it's been a long time since I've seen you!"
"That means getting in my way!" Hans shouts angrily.
"When I think about what I had to go through because of you!" Aqua says angrily as she saws her fists with a frightened look on her face. "Are you ready to pay?"
"It's amazing how you lost your nerve when you became a Litch." Hans says looking at Wiz.
"But they happen to be my friends! Can't we solve this by talking?" Wiz says, taking the lead.
"Haha! In the old days, when you hunted us and you were an Archmage, you never, ever thought of settling things by talking! But what's happened to you, can't you release magic anymore?"
"I-I had the wrong view back then, and I wasn't-" Wiz tries to speak, but is cut off by Kazuma.
"Wiz, you know him, right?" Kazuma takes the lead as he puts his Driver around his waist. "It must be difficult for you... so stay back!" Kazuma picks up the syringe and puts it into the Driver, then lets it curve. "My name is Kazuma Sato! And I've killed hundreds of terrible enemies."
"Uh? That belt..." Hans looks at Kazuma's Driver.
"Eh, Kazuma, I didn't want to fight, but what happens is..." Wiz tries to speak, but is interrupted again.
"Shh... It's going to be okay!" Kazuma looks at Hans.
"Yunyun! Tell me now, what is a deadly poisonous Slime!" Haruka says, looking worried.
"Slimes are usually large creatures with very powerful digestive enzymes that can melt flesh very easily..." Yunyun says as she looks nervously at the man.
"Very well, everyone who has discovered my true identity has bowed down begging for mercy, but you seem to have a lot of courage." Hans speaks while closing his eyes and concentrating on something.
"What are you talking about? You're a Slime, a very weak enemy." Kazuma says, mocking a little. "And that Poison Mortal in your name obviously means a poisonous attack. But we have Aqua, which can purify poison. And besides..." Kazuma points behind him, indicating Haruka with a little smile on his face. "There's me and Haruka, two Rider Amazons, there's no way we can lose."
"Amazons? Hhf! I thought that belt of yours was weird!" Hans sneers a little, looking at Kazuma. "Well... My name is Hans, I'm one of the generals in the demon king's army. The poisonous Death Slime."
"General?" Kazuma shudders at the man's words.
"Hans has a high rank compared to the other generals, be careful!" Wiz said, looking at Kazuma.
"But..." Kazuma looks at the others. "He's a Slime, right? Aren't Slimes weak beings?"
"And who told you that!" Darkness says, sounding a little annoyed. "They're strong enemies to begin with, physical attacks have almost no effect on them!" Darkness draws his sword and gets into a fighting stance. "If he gets you, it'll be the end of you! If it catches you, you'll be melted by its digestive enzymes or suffocate to death."
"And what?!" Kazuma shouts mentally.
"Besides, his poison is toxic enough to affect every spa in the city!" Megumin says as she raises her staff. "It's like a contact with instant death!"
"Instant death!" Kazuma mentally shouts again.
"Even if you die, relax, I'm here!" Aqua says pointing to himself. "But don't let him eat you, because I won't be able to resurrect you if you're digested."
"Oh my God..." Haruka whispers, startled by every word.
"HAHAHA come face me! Brave adventurers! And defeat me if you can!" Hans shouts excitedly.
(Emergency mission.)
(Eliminate the general of the demon king's army, Hans the Poisonous Death Slime.)
"We have to get away!" Yunyun shouts in desperation.
"No need to repeat it!" Kazuma turns around as he starts running away from Hans.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Darkness says before being grabbed by Haruka.
"Sorry about that, but we don't have time for this!" Haruka says alarmed as he runs with Darkness in his arms.
The group tries to run away, but vines sprout from the ground and pin the group in place.
"What's that!" Kazuma asks, trying to free himself.
"What is it, earth magic?" Wiz asks worriedly.
"No. They're my vines." A red-haired woman wearing a green kimono appears before the group.
"Took you long enough to get here, didn't it?" Hans says a little irritated.
"Sorry, I had to deal with some bastards from the Cult of Axis before I got here." The woman says, mocking a little.
"What have you done to my faithful, you bastard!" Aqua tries to shout more, but her mouth is covered by vines.
"Oh, what an annoying girl!" The woman mutters, walking up to Hans.
"Shit..." Kazuma mutters until he realizes something. "Wait!... Haruka, that thing on her arm!"
Haruka looks at the woman and notices the Amazon Register that's glowing under her kimono.
"An Amazon Register!" Haruka mutters in awe.
"Yeah, that's right, I'm an Amazon." The woman speaks with a slight smile. "And a sub-commander in the demon king's army."
"So you mean the demon king's army is recruiting new allies?" Darkness asks as she tries to free herself, but the vines cling to her tighter, making her let out a soft moan as she feels the tightness in her body.
"Actually, yes. The demon king found me and gave me a chance to join him." The woman spoke with a slight smile on her face.
"So you decided to join him to become stronger?" Haruka says, glaring angrily at the woman.
"Actually, I just want to kill you both!" The woman says with a sadistic smile on her face.
"What?..." Megumin and Yunyun mutter at the same time.
"Hans!... what do you think you're doing?" Wiz asks, trying to break free, but the vines hold her tighter.
"Quiet, Litch." The woman says as she tightens the vines on Wiz. "Since the Amazon Chameleon arrived in Axel City, I decided to do some investigating to find out more about this green warrior who defeated him." The woman said, looking at Haruka and Kazuma. "And ever since I found out that you two were these fascinating warriors, I've wanted to eliminate you myself! Hahaha!" The woman starts laughing like a maniac.
"That one's stone mad!" Megumin mutters as she glares at the woman.
"Enough of that!" Hans says a little irritated. "Get rid of them."
"Hans! The deal was that no one innocent would get hurt!" Wiz says with a slightly angry expression.
"Yes, nobody's "innocent." But they're getting in the way of the plans, so don't break the contract!" Hans turns to the hot springs and starts poisoning them again.
Aqua gives a desperate cry, even though it is muffled by the vines.
"Shit..." Haruka regrets not being with her Driver right now. "Kazuma! The Driver!"
Kazuma stops Haruka and takes the message, he jabs the syringe into the Driver making him speak in a robotic voice "NE-O!" Kazuma shouts with all his might "AMAZON!" He bursts into red flames, causing a huge bang that makes Hans and the Amazon woman duck for cover.
While Kazuma is still on fire, he runs up to the rest of the group and slashes all the vines with his claws. Kazuma runs past everyone and frees them, Haruka stands up and puts his Driver around his waist.
Haruka turns the Driver's left lever, making it say "OMEGA-" Haruka shouts at the top of his lungs. "AMAZON!" The Driver starts chanting. "EVO-E-EVOLUTION!" Haruka bursts into green flames.
"It's up to you, boys!" Aqua shouts as she joins the other girls.
Kazuma and Haruka take the lead, with the fire from their bodies fading, they are now wearing their Rider armor.
"Bastards!" Hans stands up while looking very angry. "Isabelle, I'll leave them to you."
"Yes, sir!" Isabelle speaks as she engulfs herself in red flames and transforms into an Amazon.
Isabelle has silver armor all over her body, a green kimido tied around her waist and armor made of vines to protect her breasts. Her face is purple, with red lipstick on her lips and a black visor covering her eyes; her red hair is still stunning.
"Okay, Kazuma..." Omega gets into a combat pose. "She's going to be tricky to kill."
"I know..." Neo squeezes Driver's syringe.
"Blade Loading!" Kazuma's right arm opens and he draws his Amazon sword.
"Let's go!" Neo shouts as he advances against Isabelle.
Omega advances alongside Neo towards Isabelle. The Amazon raises its hand, shooting vines towards the two of them, Neo steps forward, cutting the vines as if they were paper.
Omega pulls the right lever on his Driver, pulling out his Amazon Scythe and throwing it towards Isabelle.
Isabelle dodges the scythe, but is kicked in the chin by Neo. Neo moves away from the Amazon, turning his body and trying to cut Isabelle. The woman is faster and holds Neo's sword in her hand. She prepares to punch Neo, but her hand is held by Omega. Omega leaps up and kicks Isabelle in the back of the head. The Amazon shudders, feeling a little dizzy, but she stands her ground and throws the two Riders away.
The girls stand back and watch the fight.
"Are they going to be okay?" Yunyun asks, sounding cold.
"They're strong, don't worry!" Aqua says as she focuses her gaze on Hans.
She sees Hans turn his arm into a purple goo and start to infect the waters with his poison.
"The fountains!" Aqua runs towards Hans.
"Ahh you again!" Hans looks at Aqua and moves his arm, shooting a small burst of poison at the girl.
Aqua looks at the poison coming towards her, but it's coming too fast for her to dodge.
"Flame Ball!" Yunyun shouts as she fires a fireball towards the poison and hits it, managing to stop the poison from hitting Aqua.
"Aqua!" Darkness runs up to Aqua, standing in front of her to defend her companion. "Stay behind me."
Megumin and Wiz run up to the two and stand next to them.
"Hans! Why are you doing this?" Wiz asks worriedly.
"Wiz, if you carry on with this nonsense I won't respect the contract anymore." Hans threatens with an angry expression.
Wiz shudders at the statement, but Megumin interrupts.
"You already have!" Megumin says, drawing everyone's attention. "If the contract was not to hurt anyone innocent, you already broke it when you hurt the Axis cult members!" Megumin bites her lip for defending the cult of Axis, but she doesn't have much choice.
"In that case Wiz can-" Aqua tries to speak, but a massive wave of mana interrupts her.
"In that case..." Wiz speaks with anger in his voice. Litch's body seems to release strong waves of cold mana. "I won't forgive you, Hans!"
"If that's the way you want it!" Hans begins to modify his body, transforming into a purple goo that grows hundreds of times larger. "I'm not going to overestimate the Ice Demon."
The girls are a little startled when they see Hans' enormous form. But they are hit by vines and pushed away.
"My lord!" Isabelle hops in front of the huge Slime while facing the girls.
"Did you eliminate the other two?" Hans asks looking at Amazon.
"Did you think it would be easy!?" Omega asks as he jumps down next to the girls.
"She just ran out of fear of us!" Neo says, jumping close to the girls.
"How dare you!" Isabelle says angrily.
"Boys! You're alive!" Yunyun said, sounding relieved.
"I'm glad you're here!" Darkness said, approaching the two of them.
"Do you have a plan?!" Aqua said, holding onto Neo.
"More or less!" Neo says, separating Aqua from his body. "At least the start of one..." Neo looks forward, focusing his gaze on the huge Slime and Amazon in front of him. "Haruka, Darkness, Yunyun, you're going to stay with the vine woman over there!" Neo indicates Amazon. "Aqua, Megumin, Wiz and I are going to face the giant Slime."
"And then what?" Aqua asks frightened as she sees the giant Slime start to advance against them.
"Then I don't know!" Neo grabs Aqua, Megumin and Wiz and starts running in one direction.
Omega grabs Yunyun and Darkness, running in the opposite direction. As per the plan, Slime followed Neo while Isabelle followed Omega.
"You don't think you're going to run away!" Isabelle says angrily as she throws vines in Omega's direction.
Omega throws Darkness and Yunyun to avoid the blow hitting them. He is hit by the vines and ends up falling to the ground, his arms and legs bound.
Yunyun and Darkness fall to the ground, Yunyun quickly gets up and raises her hands towards Omega.
"Flame Ball!" Yunyun shoots a fireball towards Omega.
Omega thrusts his body upwards, causing the fireball to hit the vines on his arms and he frees his arms and cuts the vines that bound his legs.
"Okay, Haruka?" Darkness approaches Haruka while raising his sword.
"What's the plan?" Yunyun approaches Omega while keeping his gaze focused on Isabelle.
"Apparently she's a plant, so fire is her weakness." Omega looks back and sees Yunyun and Darkness focused. "Okay, guys! Yunyun, you stay back and shoot fireballs. Darkness, you're with me!"
Omega advances against Isabelle and Darkness follows him. Yunyun focuses her gaze on Isabelle, preparing another fireball.
Omega runs towards Isabelle, who stretches out the vines on her arms to make a whip.
"You'll pay for interrupting our plans!" Isabelle shouts as she swings her arms to hit Omega and Darkness
Omega leaps sideways, managing to dodge the whip, landing on the ground and grabbing the vines. Trapping Isabelle giving Darkness the opportunity to cut her.
Darkness manages to make a shallow cut on Isabelle's back, as her skin is very tough.
"Flame Ball!" Yunyun fires another fireball in Isabelle's direction.
He manages to hit her because Omega was holding his whips. Isabelle falls to the ground as her body burns from the flames.
Omega walks away while dropping his whips. Isabelle shudders as she feels her whips free and moves her arms as she tries to hit Yunyun. But Darkness steps in front of her and prevents her from being hit.
"You don't think you're going to hurt one of my companions while I'm here!" Darkness says angrily as he grabs Isabelle's whip.
Darkness moves her body, spinning around to throw Isabelle into a rock. Isabelle hits her back on the stone and groans in pain, but she quickly moves away.
Omega is coming towards her to kick her. He ends up kicking the stone, trapping his foot there. Isabelle sees an opportunity to hit Omega.
Isabelle tries to punch Omega, but he returns the punch and blocks it, grabbing Isabelle's arm and throwing her against the stone. Using his other leg to kick Isabelle in the stomach, Omega breaks free and walks away from her.
"You bastards..." Isabelle groans in pain as she falls to her knees on the ground. "Don't think I've been defeated yet!"
Isabelle puts her hands inside her kimono tied around her waist, pulling out some seeds and throwing them forward.
The seeds fall to the ground and begin to turn into four monsters made of vines.
"Yunyun! Two are yours!" Darkness shouts as he runs up to the other two. "The other two are mine!".
One of the monsters runs up to Darkness and ties her up with its vines, but she easily breaks free and attacks the monster. Slashing its chest, she hits it with a red ball and the monster falls apart.
"A sphere?" Darkness looks in confusion at the red wait stuck in her sword.
"It must be their core!" Yunyun says as she prepares two fireballs, one in each hand. "Haruka! Go after Isabelle, Darkness and I will take care of the vine monsters."
Omega nods and runs towards Isabelle. Isabelle returns the gesture by running towards Omega. The two collide and start throwing punches at each other.
Darkness dodges the attack of one of the vine monsters while the other two are following Yunyun.
Yunyun rushes away and shoots one of the fireballs at one of the monsters, managing to burn it entirely, but it rebuilds itself.
"I knew it, you have to destroy the core!" Yunyun stops running and prepares another spell with his free hand.
Yunyun shoots the remaining fireball at the vine monster and it is burned to ashes, but before it can regenerate, Yunyun shoots an ice dart at the Core. He manages to destroy it and prevents the monster from regenerating.
"That's it!" Yunyun celebrates his move.
Darkness dodges the vine monster's attack, he tries to punch Darkness, but she ducks and luckily cuts his arm.
"Oh, I'm doing much better now!" Darkness is impressed to see that he's managing to cut the monster.
Yunyun, dodging the vine monster's attacks, manages to eliminate it with the same strategy.
"Right..." Yunyun takes a few breaths before running over to Darkness to help her.
Yunyun fires another fireball, causing the monster's body to be burned and giving Darkness the opportunity to hit its core.
"Are you all right, Darkness?" Yunyun runs up to Darkness, looking very out of breath.
"Yes, thank you very much, Yunyun!" Darkness gives Yunyun a smile.
The two of them hear a crash and see Omega lying there.
"Haruka!" The two shout worriedly as they start to run to the boy.
Omega tries to get up, but a huge rock falls on top of him, trapping him. Isabelle falls on top of the rock and looks at the girls.
"You're next!" Isabelle says, pointing at the two girls.
Yunyun despairs at what has happened while Darkness rages.
"You bastard!" Darkness draws his sword and runs towards Isabelle, but she stops when she hears Yunyun's words.
"Lightning know!" Yunyun shouts at the top of her lungs as she aims her hand in Isabelle's direction.
A powerful beam of light and electricity shoots out of Yunyun's hand and towards Isabelle. Darkness quickly throws himself to the ground to avoid the attack, while Isabelle gathers her vines to make a huge barrier.
Yunyun's attack hits Isabelle's barrier, but it is very resistant. It narrowly manages to hold off the Archmage's attack.
Isabelle leaves her barrier behind and runs towards Yunyun, with Darkness on the ground she gets the perfect moment to tie Yunyun up with her vines.
"Now you won't get in my way." Isabelle says as she takes Yunyun by the shoulders.
"Damn you!" Yunyun screams as tears flow from her eyes. "You... killed Haruka."
Isabelle huffs in exhaustion as Darkness approaches from behind to slash at her.
"You bastard!" Darkness screams as he lunges at Isabelle, but she dodges the cut and kicks Darkness away.
"What did you think you were going to achieve with that attack?" Isabelle sneers at Darkness.
"I..." Darkness stands up and raises his sword again. "I won't let you hurt my friends!"
"Uhf! That's bullshit!" Isabelle shrugs her shoulders at Darkness' words.
But a thunderclap happens near the three of them, and they all turn to look. Isabelle finds it strange, as she sees the stone she used to crush Omega start to move.
"Haruka!..." Yunyun gives a slight smile, realizing that Haruka is still alive.
A huge roar erupts from the stone and it is smashed to pieces. An enormous creature resembling a humanoid dragon.
A white dragon with a huge, long tail, a head with two horns and a shield on its left arm.
(Hannibal - God Eater.)
Hannibal looks at Isabelle and gives a huge roar that makes her have to cover her ears.
"What is that thing?" Isabelle mutters frightened, as Omega quickly gets off Hannibal and kicks her away.
"Haruka!" Yunyun looks at Omega with tears in his eyes. "You're alive!"
"Of course I am!" Omega grabs Yunyun and cuts the vines that were holding her. "Do you think a simple stone would kill me?" Omega scoffs a little, but stops when he feels Yunyun's embrace.
"I thought I'd lost you... lost my friend..." Yunyun cries as he hugs Omega.
"I'm really sorry..." Omega pats Yunyun on the back to calm her down.
"Haruka!" Darkness walks up to his friend and catches his eye. "What's that thing?!" Darkness indicates Hannibal who is staring at Isabelle.
"Let's just say it's my new Pet... Hannibal!" Omega calls out to the huge dragon. "Eliminate Isabelle!" Omega points at Isabelle.
Hannibal roars and runs at Isabelle, who is startled by the dragon's attack and jumps back. She tries to hit Hannibal with her vines, but to no avail. Hannibal is enraged by the attack and throws a powerful punch at Isabelle.
Isabelle feels her bones cracking from the punch she has just taken from Hannibal and is thrown away, hitting a rock and moaning in pain.
Hannibal gives another roar and begins to form a ball of fire in his hand. The fire crystallizes and turns into a blade of fire. Hannibal leaps towards Isabelle and plunges his blade into her. Causing a small explosion of fire.
"GRAAAAHHHH!" Hannibal roars to the heavens and walks over to the three who were watching the fight.
Yunyun was startled to see the huge dragon approaching, but Darkness seemed to get excited seeing Hannibal's destructive potential.
"He's... such a brute!" Darkness puts his hands to his face as he looks at Hannibal.
"Is he docile?..." Yunyun hesitates a little as he looks at Hannibal.
"Yes, very docile!" Omega approaches Hannibal and starts stroking his head.
Hannibal is happy with the affection and starts to thump his tail on the ground, causing small tremors.
"Easy there, big boy!" Omega says, reassuring the huge dragon.
"Ahh... hi!..." Yunyun greets Hannibal.
The dragon approaches Yunyun and sniffs her, licking her face and snorting.
"He likes you." Omega said in a comical tone of voice.
"Really?!" Yunyun is impressed as Hannibal moves closer to Yunyun asking for affection.
Yunyun strokes Hannibal's head, causing him to thump his tail on the ground again.
"He's very lively..." Darkness says in a shaky voice, feeling the tremors of the earth caused by Hannibal's tail flapping.
"Yes, but let's leave that for later. Hannibal!" Omega looks at Hannibal and he hears him. "Please take us to Kazuma and the others!"
Hannibal nods and picks up the three, placing them on his back.
"That way, Hannibal!" Omega points in the direction Neo had run.
Hannibal roars again and starts running in the direction Omega had indicated.
PAUSE
"Come on, come on! Think of something!" Neo mutters as he continues running with Aqua and Megumin in his arms and Wiz on his back.
"Kazuma, what do we do!" Aqua screams in despair as she looks at the huge Slime following them.
"I'm trying to think!" Neo shouts as he continues running.
"Wiz! You have ice magic, don't you?" Megumin asks looking at Litch.
"Yes, I do..." Wiz says a little nervously.
"That's it!" Neo shouts, startling the girls. "Wiz, can you freeze that thing?" Neo says as he continues running.
"Ah, well..." Wiz looks back and sees Hans. "At that size I don't think I can."
"If I make it smaller, can you freeze it?" Neo says as he continues running.
"I don't know, I could try..." Wiz looks at Hans and moans a little. "Yes, yes I can freeze him!" Wiz says with conviction.
"Right!" Neo looks at Megumin. "Megumin, can you blow that thing up with your magic?"
"Count me in!" Megumin nods to Neo.
"Cero! Aqua, I need you to increase my luck, now!" Neo shouts and Aqua quickly starts using her luck blessing on him.
Neo continues running and sees a small chasm, he gives a slight sigh and starts running towards the chasm. Neo looks at the girls and snorts.
"Girls, I'm sorry about what I'm going to do now." Neo moves to prepare to throw the girls.
"What?!" The girls say at the same time, before Neo turns his body and throws the girls sideways. The girls fall to the ground and luckily Hans ignores them and continues walking towards Neo.
"Kazuma!" Aqua shouts worriedly as she sees Kazuma running towards the abyss.
"Come on asshole!" Neo taunts Hans as he leaps towards the abyss.
Hans roars and jumps into the abyss with Neo. Neo looks up and sees the gigantic Slime closing in on him, he quickly squeezes the syringe and his Driver says "Claw Loading!" Neo's arm opens and a hook appears on his arm.
Neo quickly pulls out his hook and throws it into the wall of the abyss, he pulls himself up and Hans looks at him walking away.
"Now, Megumin!" Neo says while holding onto the wall.
Megumin stands near the abyss and begins to prepare his explosive magic. Megumin looks into the abyss and gives a huge smile.
"Now, this will be your coffin!" Megumin says as he points his staff at Hans and speaks in a serious voice. "Explosion."
A huge explosion erupts in front of the huge chasm, the rocks around the chasm are destroyed, a huge beam of light appears and a huge bang is heard.
[...]
"*Cough* *Cough* Are you all right?" Neo says walking through the smoke.
"You idiot!" Aqua shouts as he slaps Neo upside the head.
"Hey, why did you do that!" Neo says, rubbing the back of his neck as it hurts a lot.
"You threw us away!" Aqua yells at Neo.
"What did you want? You wanted me to jump with you in my arms!" Neo says, arguing with Aqua.
"Stop it, both of you!" Megumin says as she is carried by Wiz towards the two of them. "We need to arrest him soon! Wiz!"
"Right!" Wiz says, directing his attention to the abyss.
"You bastards!" Hans stands before the abyss. With almost his entire body, he roars at them.
"He survived the explosion!" Neo says worriedly.
Hans roars and lunges at the four of them, but a fireball is thrown at him, knocking him back a little.
"What was that?!" Megumin says in surprise as she looks back and hears a powerful roar.
Hannibal jumps over a small mountain and roars as he looks in Hans' direction.
"What is that!?" Aqua looks in surprise at the gigantic dragon.
"A dragon, how come there's a dragon around here?" Wiz mutters, looking at Hannibal.
"How cool! A dragon!" Megumin looks at Hannibal with a twinkle in her eye.
"Is that Hannibal?" Neo says, surprised by the dragon.
Hannibal leaps towards Hans, the gigantic Slime dodges Hannibal's leap and hits him with its acid, but Hannibal's skin is very tough and he resists Hans' acid. Hannibal opens his mouth and fires another fireball at the giant Slime.
"Guys!" Omega says as he runs up to Yunyun and Darkness. "Are you all right?"
"Oh, you managed to defeat Isabelle!" Neo said in surprise.
"Haruka, what dragon is that?!" Megumin says excitedly as she looks at Omega.
"Ah, that's my new Pet, Hannibal, the earth dragon." Omega says as he looks at the fight between Hans and Hannibal.
Neo is silent for a few seconds, until he starts walking towards Omega and grabs him by the collar while he's swinging him backwards.
"You've got a fucking Aragami on you, you bastard!" Neo says angrily as he continues to swing him around.
"Calm down, man! Please!" Omega says desperately.
Hannibal jumps back and fires another shot at Hans, Hans dodges the fireball and tries to attack Hannibal with his acid arms.
"Can he defeat Hans?" Wiz asks.
"Not without help. Let's go!" Omega runs towards Hans as he pulls out his Amazon Scythe. "Create Water!" The scythe engulfs itself in water and Omega throws it at Hans.
The scythe hits Hans and he groans slightly in pain. Neo shudders with excitement at Omega's action.
"Wow! You can use magic while you're transformed into a Rider!" Neo is impressed.
"Yeah, right! Let's go!" Omega shouts as he continues running towards Hans.
Neo runs alongside Omega while activating his grappling hook. "Claw Loading!" Neo runs alongside Omega. Neo grabs his grappling hook while looking at Hans. "Flame!" The hook catches fire and Neo spins it in the air, making a circle of fire. Neo throws it at Hans, managing to catch the hook in his gelatinous body and pulls him closer.
Omega catches his scythe in mid-air and throws it back at Hans. The giant Slime groans in pain as he feels their attacks.
"Now, Wiz!" Neo shouts as he walks away.
"Hannibal, get back!" Omega shouts as he moves away too.
"Right!" Wiz positions her hands, gathering her magic she aims at Hans and fires it. "Eternal Ice Prison!" Wiz raises his hand and a powerful blast of ice is thrown at Hans.
He shudders nervously as he feels his body being frozen. He tries to run away, but Hannibal jumps on top of him and kicks him back into Wiz's attack.
"Go on, Hannibal!" Megumin shouts and he obeys.
Hannibal ignites his mouth, firing a powerful blast of fire and Hans. Wiz's magic and Hannibal's fire collide, with the cold and hot gases colliding to cause a small explosion.
(Emergency mission Completed.)
(Eliminate the general of the demon king's army, Hans the Poisonous Death Slime.)
PAUSE
(Next day.)
Haruka is sitting on top of a rock looking out over the immense desert and he hears a noise.
"Hey Haruka!" Kazuma calls out to the boy. "We're ready, let's go!"
"Coming!" Haruka says, climbing down from the rock. He lands on the ground and gives Kazuma a little nudge. "All set?"
"Yeah, the girls were just waiting for you." Kazuma says, walking with Haruka to the girls.
Soon after the immense explosion of fire and ice, the group managed to send another general of the demon king's army to the afterlife. With Isabelle's defeat, the people she had trapped with her vines were freed, but as they were passed out, they couldn't even see what the group had done to the city. So even though Aqua had purified the hot springs, they were still expelled.
"I still can't believe that after all I've done for this town, they still kicked me out!" Aqua says indignantly as she looks into the distance at the city of Arcanretia.
"I told you, there are only crazy people in this city." Kazuma says quietly as he packs up the Neo Junglaider.
"And I still can't believe you have a dragon!" Wiz says impressed.
"Really, I heard they're proud creatures and wouldn't make a contract with just anyone." Darkness says with a slight smile on his face.
"And who cares? WE HAVE A DRAGON!" Megumin shouts excitedly.
"Meow!" Chomusuke meows at Megumin.
"Come on, Chomusuke! You're still my cute little baby!" Megumin says cutely as she strokes Chomusuke.
Chomusuke huffs slightly and jumps out of Megumin's arms into Kazuma's arms, she rubs up against Kazuma and falls asleep in his arms.
"Come on!" Megumin says a little sadly.
"Don't worry, Megumin." Haruka strokes Megumin's head. "She's just a bit jealous, it'll pass!"
"It's Megumin!" Yunyun says, trying to cheer Megumin up. "She'll probably forget about it in no time."
"Right..." Megumin looks down.
"Well... I guess it's about time. Shall we go home?" Haruka fa looks at the group and they all agree with a big YES!
[...]
"YAHOOOO! This is way cooler than Junglader!" Megumin shouts excitedly as she's mounted on Hannibal.
The huge dragon is racing across the desert with Megumin, Darkness and Wiz on his back.
"I think I'm going to be sick..." Wiz mutters, holding onto Hannibal.
"Not up here, for God's sake!" Darkness begs Litch, as she doesn't want to get dirty.
Haruka and Yunyun are riding alongside Hannibal on the Junglaider. Yunyun hugs Haruka as she feels the comfort of his back.
"Are you scared?" Haruka asks, directing her attention to Yunyun.
"No..." Yunyun says softly. "I just want to stay like this for a while longer..." Yunyun snuggles further into Haruka's back.
"Right... Let me know if you get uncomfortable..." Haruka blushes slightly at Yunyun's touch.
Kazuma and Aqua are walking on the Neo Junglaider on the other side of Hannibal. Kazuma is sitting in front of her as she feels the breeze of the summer hit her blue hair.
"Kazuma..." Aqua says as she looks straight ahead.
"Hm?" Kazuma mutters as he continues driving.
"What are you going to do when we get home?" Aqua asks a little curiously.
"I think I'm going to sleep all day... Why do you ask?" Kazuma asks a little suspiciously.
"Nothing..." Aqua says a little sadly.
"Ahh... I'll take you to dinner." Kazuma sighs.
"Really!" Aqua looks back with a twinkle in her eye.
"But don't think it'll be free!" Kazuma glares at Aqua.
"Coming from you, I can expect the worst..." Aqua rests his head on his hands while his elbows rest on the Neo Junglaider's engine. "And don't even think about rubbing up against me!"
"Come on! What kind of man do you think I am?" Kazuma asks, slightly indignant.
"I think it's a good thing..." Aqua feels something near her ass. "Kazuma!"
"Sorry..." Kazuma laughs lightly as he speeds up the Junglaider, making Aqua scream in despair.

Note: A wonderful chapter to write, I particularly loved writing this chapter, mainly because of Hannibal, something I've wanted to put in for a long time, but haven't had the chance. And yes, Hannibal is a summon made from that stone Keele gave Haruka. And yes, Kazuma will have his own Summon, but not now.
