Extra Chapter 4

(Night.)

"Come on... you promised me!" Aqua mumbles like a naughty baby.

"Come on, Aqua! It's late..." Kazuma says looking a little tired as he walks towards his room.

"Please!" Aqua holds Kazuma's arm, preventing him from moving.

"Really?!" Kazuma looks back a little annoyed.

"Please! I haven't eaten anything all afternoon just to go to this restaurant!" Aqua tears up a little as she looks into Kazuma's eyes.

"And what makes you think I'd take you to an expensive restaurant?!" Kazuma mutters as he looks at Aqua.

Aqua continues to stare at Kazuma, with her sky blue puppy dog eyes she continues to stare at Kazuma. The boy swallows dryly as he stares into Aqua's eyes, looks up and lets out a big sigh.

"Right... go get ready and-" Kazuma says, but he's interrupted when Aqua quickly starts running to her room. "Does she really want to go to that restaurant... Or does she just want to eat for free?"

Kazuma and Aqua, now dressed more formally, enter a chic restaurant in Axis. Aqua is wearing a blue dress with gold details, while Kazuma is wearing a simple suit with a red tie. The two of them look around and notice all sorts of things, exotic food, well-dressed people, and most importantly, the expensive wines that Aqua is so keen to try.

"Oh my God!" Aqua shudders looking at the restaurant. "I've always wanted to come here!" Aqua stares at the restaurant.

"É... I know." Kazuma sighs, remembering Aqua's constant insistence on wanting to come here.

"So, shall we go to our table?" Aqua says, leaning on Kazuma's arm.

"You're very strange today. You're not doing this just so I can spend more money on you, are you?" Kazuma asks as he raises one eyebrow at Aqua.

Aqua blinks a few times while looking at Kazuma, Kazuma sighs and accepts his current situation.

"Let's go..." Kazuma mutters, while Aqua accompanies him humming.

"Excuse me, have you placed your orders?" A waiter approaches Kazuma and Aqua.

"Oh, yes!" Aqua quickly picks up the menu. "I'll have the lemon tart, the carrot cake with vanilla, the pork ribs with chili sauce and a bottle of the most expensive dry wine on the menu!" Aqua says with a slight smile on his face.

"I'm going broke..." Kazuma mutters, looking incredulously at Aqua.

"Right, the order will be delivered in no time. And you, sir?" The waiter turned his attention to Kazuma.

"I think I'll just have the lemon tart and a glass of red wine." Kazuma sighs as he rests his head on the table.

"Okay, they'll be brought in shortly." The waiter waves goodbye and walks away.

"Did you really need to order so many expensive things?" Kazuma says, looking at Aqua.

"We have to take advantage of opportunities, you say that yourself sometimes!" Aqua points at Kazuma, mocking the boy a little.

"Right..." Kazuma sighs as he looks away.

"What's wrong, Kazuma?" Aqua says a little worriedly.

"Nothing, it's just..." Kazuma turns to Aqua. "I just think... I just think..."

"You really want to make an invocation, don't you?" Aqua says knowingly.

Kazuma nods his head as he pouts.

"Don't worry about it, Kazuma!" Aqua approaches Kazuma and puts her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure your summoning will be just as cool as Haruka's!"

"Coming from you, I'm a little sad, but thanks for the comfort." Kazuma said, pulling himself together a little.

"Wait, what did you mean?" Aqua asks confused.

After a few seconds, the waiter comes back to them, puts the two pies on the table and the two glasses of wine, along with the wine Aqua had ordered. The waiter leaves at the same speed as he came back, and they both blink at the speed at which the waiter left.

"All right then!" Kazuma shrugged, picking up his spoon he took a piece of the pie and ate it. Tasting the sweet and sour flavor, he feels the piece melt in his mouth. "Uh! It's really delicious!"

"Really!?" Aqua says in surprise, picking up a spoon she takes a piece of the pie. She eats the piece and tastes the sweet and sour flavor, then feels the pie melt in her mouth. "Ummm!" Aqua perks up at the taste. "It's really delicious!"

"I wonder what they put in this pie to make it like this?" Kazuma asks, taking another piece and eating it.

"I think it's a special kind of sugar..." Aqua takes another piece and eats it with gusto. "But anyway, I really want to know what this beauty tastes like!" Aqua picks up the bottle of wine.

"I'm curious too. To be the most expensive, it has to taste great." Kazuma says, picking up the bottle of wine.

Kazuma turns the bottle over and pours the wine into both his and Aqua's glasses. They both give a light toast and take a drink, both of them choking, almost spitting out the wine.

"It's very strong..." Kazuma groans, forcing himself to swallow the wine.

"It's strong even for me..." Aqua forces herself to swallow the wine. Even though she's used to drinking alcohol, the wine is too strong for her taste.

The waiter returns, leaving the carrot and vanilla cake and the pork ribs Aqua ordered on the table.

"At least all is not lost!" Kazuma gives a slight smile.

"There you go!" Aqua smiles and pulls out one of the ribs with his hand, starting to eat it quickly.

Kazuma looks at Aqua, finding the way the Goddess is eating a little strange.

"What?" Aqua asks, noticing Kazuma's gaze.

"It's just that it's strange to see a Lady. Eating like that." Kazuma laughs lightly.

"Uhf!..." Aqua resumes her posture and wipes her mouth with a handkerchief. "I'm a lady, and more than a lady, I'm a Goddess."

"Well then. Then I challenge you!" Kazuma says with a smug smile.

"What kind of challenge?" Aqua looks at him suspiciously.

"That's it." Kazuma clutches the bottle of expensive wine. "I dare you to drink an entire glass of this wine in one gulp."

"And why would I do that?" Aqua asks, still looking suspiciously at Kazuma.

"What?" Kazuma smiles debauchedly. "The great Goddess can't stand a little alcohol."

Aqua arches her brow, feeling her pride hurt, she takes the bottle from Kazuma and fills her glass with wine.

"I'll show you what a great Goddess I am!" Aqua turns the bottle over and fills the other glass. "But you will drink too."

(Dawn.)

Kazuma and Aqua enter the mansion, both laughing, and Aqua takes a sip of the expensive wine.

"Ahh... that's really strong!" Aqua says hoarsely, clearly drunk.

"We... *We shouldn't make a fuss!" Kazuma says, sounding tired.

"Come on! Let's drink some more!" Aqua tries to take another sip of the wine, but Kazuma picks it up and leaves it on a table.

"No..." Kazuma staggers a little, looking dizzy. "Let's go to sleep soon..."

"Yeah... I think it's best..." Aqua agrees, feeling a little dizzy too.

Kazuma leans on the wall and starts walking through the corridors, up the stairs he goes to the second floor and enters his room.

Kazuma throws himself on the bed and tries to sleep, but he feels the bed sway and looks away.

"Hm?..." Kazuma looks over and sees Aqua lying next to him. "...Aqua..." Kazuma speaks weakly, looking at the Goddess lying next to him.

Aqua just closes her eyes and slowly falls asleep next to Kazuma. The boy reaches out and strokes Aqua's cheeks, giving her a slight smile.

"Good night... Useless goddess..." Kazuma falls asleep too. He feels his body grow heavy and quickly falls asleep.
