Last Time: Aang's trial is done, where he confesses to the murder of Chin the Great. The firebenders interrupt, trying to take over the city, when the group quickly defeats them. Harry and the rest have a heart to heart.

"Do you guys think he's the one?"

Harry peeked inside the rounded doorway leading to the earthbending school. Aang stood out of place, much taller than the rest. He winced in sympathy as one of the kids hit the avatar square in the stomach with a rock. "Nah, don't think so."

Sure enough, his friend came out of the building, trying to get sand out of his ears. They'd been roaming this city for earthbending teachers. They were still hopeful to find other teachers, so at least if this one didn't work it wasn't the end of the world. "So not the one?" asked Katara, repeating her earlier question. "Not really no." Aang said, a frown on his face.

"I think the Boulder is gonna win back the belt at earth rumble 6. He's going to have to fight the best earthbenders in the world to even get a shot at the champ." Said a kid going out of the same building Aang had just gotten his ass kicked in. Said airbender perked up, darting over to the two boys. "Excuse me, but where is this earthbending tournament exactly?" The two boys looked at each other, before smirking.

"It's on the island of noneoya, none of your business!" he jeered, laughing as they walked away. Aang hung his head as Harry and the rest joined him, Sokka laughing all the while. "Ha! Gotta remember that one." Katara put her hand on Aang's shoulder, a warm smile on her face, "Don't worry, I got this." She started running after the boys, catching them in an alley.

The boys stood for a moment, before Sokka looked at his new bag, the one he'd gotten one hour ago in disgust. "Why did you let me buy this? I don't need a new bag!" He threw down the bag, where Momo curled up in. Harry rolled his eyes, before picking up him up with the bag, casting a hot air charm to keep the animal warm. Momo purred further as the wizard gently caressed him between the two fluffy ears. The lemur looked nothing like Crooshanks, and yet Harry couldn't help but be reminded of him. He smiled sadly, petting the short fur.

"You're ready to find a new earthbending teacher?" They all turned to look at Katara, who had a big smile on her face. "Because we're going to earth rumble 6!"

"How did you get them to tell you?" asked Aang, tilting his head to the side. Harry picked up momo, strapping the bag on his shoulders. "A girl has her ways." Shrugged the waterbender, a mischievous look on her face.

"This doesn't look suspicious at all." Muttered Sokka as they headed into what looked like a giant stone hut. They had to wait all day just to see the show, and Harry was really hoping they'd find an earthbender master for all of this. The group entered into what looked like an arena, but there was no gate to protect the spectators. The wizard couldn't help but be reminded that this really was another world. Something that could only be made by people who controlled the earth like it was a part of their being.

"Hey, front row seats!" exclaimed Aang as they all sat down. No sooner had he spoken than a giant boulder hit the seats right next to Harry's face. He jumped in surprise, his heart racing in his chest. "I guess that's why…" he trailed off, looking at the platform as a man jumped down.

"Welcome to Earth Rumble 6! I am your host, Xin Fu! The rules are simple. Just knock the other person out of the ring, and you win!" he shouted, his voice booming around the hall. He had long slick black hair, and Harry couldn't help but be reminded of Snape until he saw the jacked muscles and changed his mind. On the opposite side of him, Katara sighed. "This is just going to be a bunch of guys throwing rocks at each other, isn't it?" She already looked bored, and it hadn't even started. Sokka beamed. "That's what I paid for!"

"The first round will be the Boulder versus the Big Bad Hippo!" Two men started on the ring. One seemed to have a back tattoo, with his hair tied up at the back of his skull. He wasn't wearing a shirt, and he looked extremely confident. The other man was also a shirtless tall man, but he didn't possess any of the muscles that his opponent did. They talked to each other, but Harry couldn't hear anything. The Boulder did look like he was jeering the other man, as he slammed his foot down, sending chunks of rock at him. The battle only lasted a minute, with the Boulder throwing the other man out of the ring by levitating him under a block of earth.

"How about him, Aang? He looks like he has pretty good moves." Commented Katara.

"I don't know. Bumi told me to find a teacher that listens to the earth. This one is just listening to his big muscles." Sokka was completely ignoring the whole conversation, cheering wildly for the remaining fighter. Harry grinned as well. The man was very impressive, he seemed to use his surroundings to his advantage a lot.

He continued to win several more fights against all kinds of people. Harry was very impressed, and started to cheer the man as well. Finally, after almost an hour of non-stop fighting, a small girl came on to the rink, much to his surprise. "Now the moment you've all been waiting for," they'd been waiting for this? "The Boulder versus your champion, the Blind Bandit!" Harry's jaw dropped. "Is she actually blind?" The rest of the group was also staring at her. "Yeah, I think she is," replied Aang.

Before the Boulder could even start his earthbending, the Blind Bandit stuck the ground with her bare feet, a streak of stone turned the Boulder's foot, making him do a split. Harry winced as the man exclaimed in pain. Before he could even react, the Blind Bandit threw stone at her opponent, pushing him out of the ring in seconds.

Harry laughed, clapping with the crowd while Sokka despaired next to him. "How did she do that?" asked Katara, who had started paying attention for the first time since they arrived. "Yeah, it's like she could see what he would do!" exclaimed Harry. The avatar just smiled, "She waited and listened." Xin Fu dropped down from his platform, a bag in his hands. "To make things more interesting, I will give this bag of gold to anyone who can defeat the Blind Bandit." The crowd went silent, clearly no one dared to go against the champion. "What? No one dares to face her?" Aang grinned next to him, before jumping down the platform. "Hey! What are you doing!" yelled Harry after him.

He walked up to the platform, ready to face the champion. "What is he expecting from this?" asked Katara, as Sokka cheered for Aang. "Yeah! Avenge the Boulder!" The Blind Bandit looked in the direction of her opponent, before she smiled and elevated her voice. "Do people really want to see two little kids fighting?" Aang held his hands placatingly. "I just want to talk!" She narrowed her eyes, before a pillar of stone rose up to push him out. Aang seemed to use his airbending to get out of the way.

She used another pillar, causing him to leap behind her. "Wait! I really just want to talk to you!" he said, his feet landing on the floor. She turned around, sending a boulder at her opponent, only for him to use his airbending to knock her off the ring. Harry winced, while the rest of the people cheered. If Aang wanted a teacher, this was probably not the way to go.

"Harryyyyyy! Come on!"

"No Sokka, you threw away the bag, so I'm having it!"

"But it would go great with this belt!"

"I don't care! Momo's comfortable, and I'm happy with it."

"But I bought it!"

"Then you shouldn't have thrown it away!"

"OK, you two stop it." Said Katara as they arrived back at yesterday's academy. The two boys from yesterday were in the front, doing something to a big-looking urn. "Oh. It's you again." One said, looking at the group. The waterbender arched her eyebrow, taking a step forward. They yelped in fear, causing her to smile. "Didn't think so."

"Hey, we need to talk to the Blind Bandit. Know where she is?" asked Aang. "The Blind Bandit's a mystery. No one knows who she is or where she lives. She comes in to fight, and then disappears." The boy shrugged, not looking very invested by the situation. "Maybe you could ask them about what you saw?" suggested Sokka before Katara could fight them again.

Her fists were curled together. His friend brightened up "Do you know a young girl in white clothes with a pet flying boar?" The boys looked at each other for a second, clearly thinking. "Well, a flying boar is the symbol of the Bei Fong family. They're the richest family in town, maybe even the world. But they don't have a daughter."

Aang grinned at all of them, "That's good enough for me. Come on, let's go."

"Yeah, get out of here!" said one of the boys. Katara turned around, walking backwards, "I'm watching you." "Watertribe," saluted Sokka. "Wizard." He said, enjoying their looks of confusion.

They walked for a bit, asking people around where the Bei Fong family house was until they arrived to a mansion hidden behind walls and guards. Aang pointed at the picture of a literal flying boar. "That's the one I saw in my vision!" The quickly jogged to a side wall and climbed inside the mansion. A flying bison, a flying boar, this world is so weird, Harry thought, grunting as he landed on the other side of the wall. The group quickly hid behind a pair of bushes, trying to see if she was there. They barely looked for a second, before the ground exploded from beneath them.

"What are you doing here Twinkle Toes?" Harry moaned in pain as he landed on top of Katara. "How did you know it was me?" replied Aang. "Harry, get off me right now." Instinctual fear made the wizard leap in the air as if he was an airbender himself, landing next to the girl. "How did you find me?" asked the Blind Bandit. The firebender startled, looking at her white and clearly very fancy outfit. This was very different from what she'd been wearing last night.

"Well, a crazy king told me I had to find the earthbender who listens to the earth. And then I had a vision in a magic swamp, and—" Harry facepalmed while Katara took over in explaining. "What Aang means to say is that he's the avatar, and he needs your help to help defeat the fire lord."

"Not my problem." The Blind Bandit said, walking away from them. Sokka walked forward, "Look, we all have to play our part in the war, and yours just happens to be teaching Aang how to do earthbending." The girl stopped walking for a second, "Guards! Guards!" The group looked at each other in a panic, before they quickly left beyond the wall.

"What do we do now? We can't exactly force her to teach you earthbending." Aang was smiling a mischievous smile, looking like a kid in a candy store. "We're just going to waltz in." He stood up, quickly heading towards the guards. "Aang! We can't just go in front of the guards!" shouted Katara, catching up to him. "Excuse me? I would like to have a meeting with the Bei Fong family." He asked, totally ignoring the waterbender. The guards looked at one another, amusement clear on their faces.

"Right. We're not just going to let a kid get an audience with the boss. Run along now!" Aang only continued to smile. "Not even if that kid is the avatar?" he said, quickly doing a spinning ball of wind. The guards quickly looked at each other in shock, before they bowed slightly. "Of-Of course sir, it'll only take a minute." One of the guards quickly headed in, while the other tried not to gawk.

They waited for a little bit, before they were taken into the house's dining room. A massive table with food was prepared in front of them, and Harry's mouth watered. Even though the food looked nothing like the food at home, they'd been eating mostly from small shops or when Sokka hunted something. He hadn't had a home-cooked meal in so long. He quickly sat down, and tried to look as composed as he could while scarfing down the food. He looked at the Water Tribe teenager and almost choked. He was gobbling food as if he'd never seen it before, and the wizard couldn't but be reminded of Ron.

Harry startled when Aang sent a tornado of air towards the newly named Toph. "So, Avatar Aang, when do you think the war will be over?" said the lord of the house, eating politely with his chopsticks. Harry himself was having difficulty with the new eating instruments, but luckily no one was paying him any attention. "I would like to defeat the Fire Lord by the end of the summer, but for that I need to find an earthbending teacher first." He said, looking slyly at Toph who didn't react.

"Well, Master Yu is the finest teacher in the land. He's been teaching Toph since she was little." Said master was puffing his chest, his long moustache dangling. "Then she must be a great earthbenders, good enough to teach someone els-ugh!" exclaimed Aang. Harry blinked in confusion, looking between the two. "Toph is still learning the basics." Commented master Yu. "Oh, I'm sure she's better than you think she is." He doubled over again, as if in pain, before sneezing and causing the food to fly everywhere. Harry quickly leaned back, looking at Aang in annoyance.

"Oh, that makes a lot more sense." Commented Harry after Aang explain what had happened. They were laying in Aang's borrowed room, Harry looking at the ceiling above the bed. He couldn't help but snuggle into the soft covers. The sheets smelled of something he couldn't recognize, but that still made him relax. He started to doze off, barely recognizing when Toph arrived in the room, later leaving with Aang. He only realized that he felt very comfortable and that he didn't want to move.

With what felt like seconds he felt the lull of sleep let him go, and he slowly sat up with a yawn. He looked around the room blearily, blinking when he noticed that no one was there. Stretching, he slowly walked out of the room, only for Sokka to run into him. "Harry! Aang and Toph have been kidnapped!" The statement quickly jerked him out of his drowsiness as he stared at the teen. "What! What happened?" Sokka shook his head, taking his hand and dragging him out, "No time! We have to go! Oh, and I got the Boulder's autograph!" he said excitedly.

"That's more important than telling me what happened?" asked Harry incredulously.

"They got kidnapped from Xin Fu and the Boulder for money." He deadpanned. A beat of silence. "Yeah, okay I could've guessed that."

They quickly headed off towards the rest of the men, where everyone headed towards the arena. The silence was tense and the father was quickly extremely worried. Suspended in the air were two metal husks, where the two teens were there. Harry frowned in confusion. Shouldn't Toph be able to earthbend out of that? "Hey! Here's your money!" the bag of money slid off towards the kidnappers by courtesy of Master Yu. Xin Fu quickly looked at the contents of the bag, before Toph was being lowered to the ground, as she ran for her father. He quickly checked her over before they started leaving.

Harry waited for Aang to be lowered, but it didn't seem like that was going to happen. "What about Aang?" asked Katara. The man smirked before revealing a scroll. "I think the Fire Nation will pay a good price for the avatar. Now get out!" he said, as all of the fighters gathered to stand in front of him protectively. The siblings looked at each other before looking at Harry who shook his head, frustrating building up. "I can't win this. But I have to try." He said, taking out his wand. "But you just said you can't win!" said Katara, grabbing his arm. "I must try! I can't just let Aang be captured!" Katara looked at him in desperation before running back towards the exit.

The wizard stepped forward, flashing a smile to hide his nerves. "Harry, go! I'll be fine!" yelled Aang. "Sorry if I don't believe that. Now," he said looking at all the people, "shall we? Aqua Eructo!" he whispered, doing a proper water bending movement as a giant jet of water splashed the group. A few flew back, but most stayed their ground. Rocks were quickly flying at him in all directions, and he started running. He dodged and weaved, not having the time to cast spells. He jumped as a beam of rock punched the ground where he previously was, only to startle as the men were pushed back by rocks.

Toph stood next to him, a fierce look in her unseeing eyes. "Let me take care of this." She smirked, before she kicked the ground with her foot, sending back a few men. Harry stared in amazement. Her reaction time was amazing. He shook his head, before running towards where Aang was trapped. With Katara and Sokka, he was quickly let go. He got into a fight position, but both teen boys just shook their head, pointing at the definition of awesome.

Harry quietly brushed Appa's fur, as they were headed off for another city. Turns out that Toph's father hadn't taken too well to her being a good earthbender and had forbidden her to leave. They couldn't exactly argue against her parents or kidnap her, so with reluctance they'd left. Aang was clearly heartbroken over it, and Harry had a feeling Toph would've gone with them if she could. He let Katara talk to their friend, as he settled on the saddle with Sokka.

Aang hopped to the front, and with a forlorn sigh was ready to take off. He paused, and just as Harry was about to ask him what they were waiting for, Toph came into view. All of the group brightened as she came into view. "Toph! What are you doing here!" exclaimed Aang, a big grin on his face. "My dad changed his mind. He said I was free to travel the world." Harry seriously doubted that, and judging by the looks on the siblings faces, they did as well. But the wizard only smiled at her. "Well, come on, let's go before he changes his mind." Toph smiled.

The wizard settled in as the earthbender quickly threw Aang in a tree, "to make it even" before helping her up the saddle. Appa leaped into the air, and Toph startled, clearly confused at what was happening. As Harry settled, he quickly shot back up to look at their new companion.

"Oh, before you found out later and get confused, I'm a magic user from another universe that can also do firebending. It's easier if you know now." A moment of silence.

"What?"
