At the city hall, Rimuru was having tea in his office together with Rukia and Renji, who were telling him things about the Soul Society and the matter of the revolutionaries.

"I see. So, due to the dissatisfaction with the current system, those shinigamis rebelled and now they want to destroy everything to create their own system." said Rimuru.

"That's right. That's why we must stop them at all costs." said Renji.

"If they ever succeed in their plan, events would happen that would cause an imbalance between life and death that would bring about very catastrophic consequences." said Rukia.

"Listen, while I may not agree with their methods, I do agree that your system is in need of change." said Rimuru.

"We know that, but the process could take time and it takes process." said Rukia.

"*Sigh* If you really have to follow all the procedures, then there won't be any change and what happened now will happen again." said Rimuru.

"But… it's been like this for 2000 years since the 13 divisions were founded." said Renji.

"There's the rub." said Rimuru.

"What do you mean, Lord Rimuru?" asked Rukia.

"If you stay so long anchored in the past, you will never be able to move into the future. I'm not saying break all the rules, just modify them a little or something will end up happening that could have been avoided, as is the case with revolutionaries." said Rimuru.

Rukia and Renji couldn't help but see that he was right in that those laws had been in place too long and while they worked for a long time, it didn't stop Aizen's from happening.

"Besides, those rules don't become worth anything when something really serious happens. Or am I wrong?" asked Rimuru.

No, he wasn't wrong, as it came to pass when Rukia had to give her powers to Ichigo so she could protect herself or when Ichigo and the others went to Soul Society and Hueco Mundo despite the dangers and what others said.

"No, you don't, Lord Rimuru." said Renji as even he turned against his superior during the events of Rukia's execution.

"Believe me, I understand that, when you lead an organization or a city, you tend to make decisions that while they seem reasonable, may become problematic in the future, which makes you come to regret it and something will come to happen that you won't be able to change no matter how powerful you are." said Rimuru remembering what happened with the Falmuth Empire.

Rukia and Renji felt that Rimuru had gone through something that made him make a hard decision, but they didn't want to get into that topic as it seemed too personal.

"So here's my advice. Do your best to make the Soul Society a suitable place, not only for shinigami, but also for other souls, humans and any race that may exist. Who knows. Maybe one day, you can all work together as one unit." said Rimuru with a smile.

Rukia and Renji were astonished by his words.

They would never have imagined that the Soul Society could work with anything other than shinigami.

However, now things had changed a bit, for they could count on the help of a substitute shinigami, a human with special powers, a fullbringer and a quincy, whose tribe was exterminated a long, long time ago.

In fact, they remembered that, after the final battle against Aizen, they could have killed the surviving espada in the area, but they didn't and instead let them return to Hueco Mundo, promising that they wouldn't cause any more trouble.

What Rimuru said made them wonder what would happen if shinigami, quincy and hollows, who had been at odds for many centuries, worked together.

Things could become much easier for everyone, even the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo could become much more prosperous than they had ever imagined.

If a city full of monsters of different species with a slime Demon Lord as their leader could come out ahead peacefully, why couldn't they if they took the plunge, huh?

The two shinigami bowed in deep appreciation to the human slime.

"We deeply appreciate the advice, Lord Rimuru." said Rukia.

"That's right. Once we return, we will communicate it to our superiors, though I'm not sure most of them will agree." said Renji.

"He's right. Who knows how long it will be before what you suggest comes to pass." said Rukia.

"Well, that's okay. You have plenty of time. I just hope that whatever you decide, it will be for the good of everyone." said Rimuru.

"Of course." said Renji.

None of them really knew what would happen the moment they suggested such a thing, but they weren't going to give up, for they believed in the message of unity and prosperity that Rimuru Tempest had created with his nation.

Orihime found herself walking the halls of the city hall, wondering what she could do in a whole new city.

She could go see what they sell on the streets, from clothes and food, she could even buy some souvenirs for her friends from the Soul Society and Karakura, though of course to those who know about her powers and the shinigami thing, otherwise she would have a lot of explaining to do and she couldn't say she had been to another world.

Suddenly, as she turned a corner, she noticed a dark and malevolent smoke coming out of a half-open door.

Just witnessing it made her nervous that there was something terrifying in there.

She could run to tell someone, but she felt she had to find out what it was before she did anything.

So he walked over to the door and slowly opened it, allowing him to see what was going on inside and was shocked by what he saw.

It turned out that the room was a kitchen and Shion was off to the side, humming while stirring something in a pot from which this malevolent, dark smoke was coming out.

You'd think she was preparing some potent poison, but Orihime saw the smile on her face and it was the same one she had when she was preparing something special for a certain someone, so she had a theory that she was preparing something for someone, but she had no idea what she was doing.

"Uh… Shion?" asked Orihime opening the door all the way and walking into the kitchen, catching the attention of the horned woman.

"Oh, you're one of the ones who arrived in city recently, aren't you?" asked Shion with a smile.

"Yes, my name is Orihime. What are you doing?" asked Orihime.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm preparing food for Lord Rimuru. I'm giving him all the love I have for him." said Shion slightly blushing and with her eyes closed.

Looking at the pot, Orihime was slightly horrified when she saw that the contents of the pot was a dark purple bubbling liquid with various things floating around like a chicken leg with claw included, a whole uncut leek, an unpeeled onion, Cherry tomatoes and a half-cut pineapple.

"Uh… A-Are you sure you're doing it right?" asked Orihime, hoping not to offend her.

"Of course it does. I've tasted it and it tastes good. In fact, why don't you try it too?" asked Shion before pouring some of the pot's contents into a small spooned bowl and handing it to the young woman.

Orihime swallowed saliva at the sight of the contents of the bowl that looked like more toxic poison than any food she could think of, including her own and that's because she doesn't usually make normal meals, so to speak.

For a moment, she thought about politely declining it, but then, she saw the look on Shion's face that was like that of a child asking her mother to tell her a comment about the drawing she had done in class.

Not wanting to sadden her in any way, in the end, Orihime picked up the spoon, took some of the contents of the bowl and with her eyes closed, put it in her mouth, hoping to heal herself with her power.

However, in the next instant, her eyes widened in surprise along with a groan.

"Oh my god! This is so good!" said Orihime starting to eat everything in the bowl.

"Really? How good. I'm sure Lord Rimuru will love it too" said Shion.

Orihime swallowed the last bit before putting the bowl down.

"Not to offend, but how did you get it to taste like that despite its… peculiar appearance?" asked Orihime.

"Oh, that's because of my 'Master Chef' skill." said Shion.

"Master Chef?" asked Orihime.

"That's right. It makes everything I cook taste the way I want it to no matter what." explained Shion.

Orihime was surprised to learn that there was a skill that would make anyone become a great cook.

However, despite the fact that her food tasted good, she couldn't let her food always look like that, it gave the wrong message and someday, someone would hurt her deeply.

"Hey, Shion, is it okay if I give you a hand? I know several recipes and could give you some cooking tips." said Orihime with a smile.

"If it will help me get better at cooking and make Lord Rimuru happy, I'll be happy to have you help me." said Shion with a smile.

For a while, the two were in the kitchen preparing various dishes while Orihime was giving Shion tips to try to improve the appearance of her food.

Unfortunately, Shion was trying too hard and ended up overdoing some things like cutting ingredients or putting too much of something, but still, Orihime had to admit that it was fun to hang out with her.

Uryu was walking through the streets of the city, admiring the layout and the surrounding environment.

He found it hard to believe that a simple slime had managed to unite so many monsters and founded a city.

He may not have been a fan of video games, but from what he had heard from some of his classmates, slimes were the weakest monsters, so anyone who hadn't sensed their power would have completely underestimated him and the citizens of his city and would surely pay the price for it.

(AN: *Cough* Falmuth *Cough* Empire *Cough*)

It was then that he noticed something out of the corner of his eye and turning his head, he saw a store selling clothes.

Feeling curious about it, he entered the store, where he looked at the various garments they sold until his gaze focused on a kimono placed on a mannequin.

He approached said mannequin and took a close look at the kimono.

"Do you like what you see?"

Turning her head to the side, she saw that the voice came from a young adult woman with pink hair, wearing a pink kimono and two horns on her head.

"It's one of our new products. If you want, you can try it on." the kijin said politely.

"Sorry, I'm not interested in trying it on. I was just observing the design and tailoring. No doubt the stitching is excellent, as I can't even notice it myself." began Uryu before touching a sleeve of the kimono. "And the embroidery is well done for having been done by hand."

"Wow. Do you know a lot about that?" asked the kijin with wide-eyed surprise.

"Quite a bit. In fact, I made this outfit myself." said Uryu pointing to his own attire.

"Amazing. It's very well made. Hey, I don't know if it would be a problem, but do you think you could give us a hand on a project?" asked the kijin.

"If it's clothing, it would be my pleasure." said Uryu.

"Wonderful. Oh, sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Shuna. It's a pleasure to meet you." said the kijin introducing herself.

"Uryu Ishida. Same here. By the way, what's that project about?" asked Uryu.

"It's one of our most popular projects. It's about making special clothes for Lord Rimuru." said Shuna.

Hearing that, Uryu's glasses got shiny, as that project caught all his interest.

"Tell me the details." said Uryu excited about the idea of dressing up a Demon Lord.

Chad was walking through the streets, observing the people who were out and about and enjoying their time there.

Chad liked that peace, for it was in those moments that he could truly enjoy himself with all his friends despite all the confrontations he had and would come to have in the future.

At that moment, he heard sounds of banging, hammering and some moaning.

Feeling curious, he headed towards the place of origin of the noises and when he arrived he discovered that it was a group of orcs working on the construction of a dwelling.

Wanting to find out more, Chad approached one of the orcs, one that a Mohican hairstyle.

"Excuse me, but what are you doing?" asked Chad.

"Mmm?" asked the orc noticing the fullbringer's presence. "Oh, we're building a new apartment building. More people are coming into city lately, so Lord Rimuru commissioned us to build more places for them to stay."

"I see." began Chad before looking at the big job ahead of him. "Would you mind if I lend a hand?"

"Mmm. I guess a little help wouldn't hurt at all. Okay. By the way, I don't think I've seen you around. I'm Geld." said the orc introducing himself.

"Yasutora Sado, but you can call me Chad." said Chad.

"Okay, Chad. You can start with those beams over there…" began Geld pointing to some beams in one area. "And take them to the other side, which is where they need them."

"Understood." said Chad before walking over to the beams.

Thanks to his natural strength and fullbringer power, he was able to lift a beam without any problems and place it over his shoulder.

At that moment, he felt someone watching him and turned his gaze to the side to see a small hobgoblin girl with hair tied in a vertically raised ponytail staring at him in amazement.

Both Chad and the hobgoblin girl stared at each other, not doing or saying anything.

In the end, Chad gave the girl a smile and a wave of his hand.

That made the hobgoblin girl smile broadly before waving her hand.

After that, Chad set about continuing his work of carrying the beam back to its place, allowing the hobgoblin girl to follow him as she continued to watch him with a smile.

Ichigo walked through the city while enjoying the joy and peace in the air with a smile on his face.

Actually that city wasn't so different from his hometown with the only difference being that there were more monsters than humans there, but everyone treated each other kindly, as if they were neighbors or acquaintances.

Part of him thought he could bring his family to visit, since his father was a retired shinigami and his sisters already knew about the spirits and such, especially Karin, who knew about his role as a shinigami before he knew about his father.

BOOM

Suddenly, Ichigo stopped when he heard an explosion nearby.

Thinking that something terrible might have happened, he used his shinigami skills to go to the affected place quickly.

When he arrived, he expected some enemy attack or a ferocious monster, but what he saw left him somewhat surprised.

In front of a building that had been reduced to rubble, there was a girl with pink hair tied in pigtails and her hands on her hips giggling somewhat mischievously.

"Hahaha. This is what you get for messing with me. Hahaha" said the girl as she laughed at her 'victory'.

Ichigo didn't know who this girl really was, but he could sense a power that was on the same level as Rimuru, so she might be a Demon Lord or something.

For a moment he thought it must be a confrontation between rival Demon Lords, but from the way she was talking and laughing, it didn't seem like that, so he decided to approach her.

"Hey" began Ichigo catching the girl's attention. "May I ask what happened here?"

"That guy…" began the girl pointing to a hobgoblin that was lying on the ground and frightened by the girl. "He told me he'd run out of my favorite candy. He wanted to offer me some more and I wouldn't, so I destroyed his stand."

"You destroyed his entire stand just because he didn't have your favorite candy?" asked Ichigo with an arched eyebrow.

"That's right. That'll teach him not to mess with Milim, the destroyer. Hahaha." said the girl with pride for what she did.

POW

"Ouch, ouch, ouch." expressed Milim as she rubbed her head after getting punched by the substitute shinigami.

Not only that, but everyone around was in total shock at what they had witnessed.

Ichigo didn't care who exactly he had punched, as she looked more like a spoiled child than a leader like Rimuru.

"Why did you do that?!" asked Milim angrily and sadly.

"Every bad deed deserves a punishment." said Ichigo.

"Bad deed? That guy wanted to give me candies I didn't want!" said Milim.

"Did you even taste them?" asked Ichigo.

"Uh… No, but…" began Milim.

"And you didn't think that if he kept the post, he could get more of those sweets you like? You should have just waited." said Ichigo.

"But… but…" began Milim not knowing what to argue.

"No 'buts'. You're already apologizing to the owner right now." said Ichigo.

"I don't want to." said Milim crossing her arms and turning her head to the side with her eyes closed.

"Very well. In that case, I'll tell Rimuru. I'm sure he'll know what to do with you." said Ichigo.

"What?! Please don't tell Rimuru! If he finds out what I've done, he'll get mad at me and stop being my bestie!" said Milim with pleading eyes.

"Then you know what you have to do." said Ichigo.

Milim showed a pout of frustration at what she had to do.

"I'm sorry." said Milim quietly.

"Not to me. To him and do it properly." said Ichigo.

Milim turned and looked at the destroyed stand owner who got a little scared when the Demon Lord looked at him.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for destroying your stand." said Milim with her head down.

That surprised the hobgoblin, as it wasn't common to receive an apology from Milim herself.

"I-It doesn't matter. And if my stand is rebuilt, I'll be sure to have a large amount of candy set aside for you." said the hobgoblin.

"Really? Thank you!" said Milim cheerfully.

"See what you get when you do things right? Well, if that's all, I'm off." began Ichigo turning around to leave, but then, he felt something climbing on his back and turned his head to find out what it was, only to be surprised when he discovered that Milim had climbed on his back, her legs wrapping around his waist and her arms wrapped around his neck. "What are you doing?"

"I like you, human. Can we be friends?" asked Milim.

Ichigo thought for a moment about his answer until he saw the look on Milim's face that reminded him quite a bit of his younger sisters.

"*Sigh* Yes, we can be friends." said Ichigo.

"Hooray!" exclaimed Milim tightening her grip on the substitute shinigami's neck so tight that she choked him for a few moments. "Let's have some fun!" said Milim pointing to the front.

In view of the situation, Ichigo saw that he could no longer back out, so he simply kept walking with a Demon Lord climbed on his back.

"This is just like when I was with my sisters many years ago. Only she has a similar personality to Nel. Ah, well. I guess it matters hanging out with her. I mean, I don't think anything bad is going to happen, right?" asked Ichigo mentally.

And so, Ichigo hung out with Milim.

Even if she acted too childish at times to the point where she almost wrecked more stands, Ichigo was able to keep her in line and get her to control herself.

They were then playing a game of catch in which Ichigo used shunpo to try to catch Milim, who proved to be faster than she imagined and taunted Ichigo thinking she was going to win, but Ichigo proved to be more cunning and managed to catch her, though she complained claiming she cheated.

Despite all the bad stuff, Ichigo had to admit that hanging out with Milim wasn't as bad as he imagined, it even brought back memories of when he played with his younger sisters.

In fact, it got to the point where he stroked Milim's head and to the surprise of anyone who saw this, she wasn't the least bit upset, but rather enjoyed it.

Later in the day, the group was in a meeting room at city hall because they had been summoned for something.

They weren't the only ones, as Shion and Shuna were also present.

"Well, why did you bring us all here?" asked Ichigo.

"Did something bad happen?" asked Chad.

"Don't tell me you found Alostrol and his?" said Rukia thinking it was about that topic.

"Oh, no. It's not that. We simply brought you here for an important matter." said Shuna.

"And what is it about?" asked Renji curiously.

"You see, Uryu helped me create a new outfit for Lord Rimuru and I wanted you all to see it" said Shuna.

"You made something for Rimuru?" asked Ichigo to the quincy in surprise.

"I couldn't turn down the opportunity to dress a Demon Lord." began Uryu before adjusting his glasses. "I was a bit surprised by the design though."

"Yeah, me too." said Orihime.

"You helped too?" asked Rukia in surprise.

"Well, actually, I just helped put it on. I happened to be with Shion in the kitchen when Shuna came and asked us to help with it" said Orihime.

"And where Lord Rimuru?" asked Chad.

"Just on the other side of that door" began Shion pointing to a door. "Come on, Lord Rimuru. Come out so everyone can see you."

"No way! I'm not coming out! NEVER!" exclaimed Rimuru from the other side of the door.

"Oh, please, Lord Rimuru. Uryu and Shuna have gone out of their way to do that for you. Won't you show everyone the result of your efforts?" asked Shion with slightly pleading eyes.

Rimuru let out a groan of frustration knowing that he couldn't refuse such a request from his secretary.

"Okay, but I don't want ONE SINGLE LAUGH, got it?!" asked Rimuru.

"We would never laugh at you, Lord Rimuru. You have my word." said Rukia.

"Good." said Rimuru.

At last, Rimuru opened the door and entered the room.

To the surprise of the others, Rimuru was currently wearing a yellow dress with ruffles and tiaras.

Similar to the dresses usually worn by porcelain dolls.

"SO CUTE!" exclaimed Orihime, Shion, Shuna and Rukia at the same time.

"Is that what you meant by not expecting it?" asked Chad to the quincy.

"Yes, at first, I was suggesting a quincy outfit, but Shuna ended up convincing me otherwise" said Uryu.

Ichigo and Renji were silent and wide-eyed at the sight of the human slime's outfit until, then, they started to shiver as they tried to keep their mouths shut.

"Are you laughing?" asked Rimuru with a frown.

"N-No, of course not." said Ichigo trying to hold back laughter.

"W-We wouldn't make fun of… the clothes of a… Demon Lord." said Renji trying to hold it in.

"T-Tell me someone is recording that." said Ichigo about to cry from restrained laughter.

"Of course. Something like that deserves to be immortalized and remembered forever and ever!" said Rukia using her phone to take pictures.

"No, please! Anything but that!" exclaimed Rimuru not wanting more people to see it like that.

"H-Hey, t-turns out my sister used to have a lot of dolls with their own outfits. Maybe I can suggest some." said Ichigo with an amused smile.

"That would be great." said Shuna.

"I can't wait for Lord Rimuru to try them all on." said Shion.

"WHY ME?!" asked Rimuru shouting to the four winds.
