Aurora opened her eyes to the sound of an alarm beeping loudly somewhere around her head. She quickly silenced it, before it woke up the other kids around her. Waking up, she went to the washroom and freshened up.

A good advantage of waking up early was being able to have the washroom all by yourself. Which is an exceptional privilege for somebody living in an orphanage, as the washrooms are always occupied otherwise.

Today was the worst day of the week, Monday. Nobody likes Monday, especially the kids... So it was quite hard to make all the younger ones ready for the school. As Aurora was the oldest child in the orphanage, she considered it as her responsibility to look after all the younger ones. So, her morning usually comprised of getting ready herself and then making all the younger ones ready for the day.

Today was no exception. Getting out of the bathroom, she made her way towards the dorm. Once in, she did put on the lights and one by one, she woke up all of them. Of course the kids were grumpy while waking up at first, but she managed to get them ready on time.

They were waiting for the school bus, which arrived on time as usual. It was standing on the other side of the road, and while crossing the road, Clara and Stassie were chattering animatedly about the upcoming cricket match without a care in the world. Lost in their own world they ignored the signal changing to green for the vehicles and at the same time, a blue sports car was coming at full speed from the other side of the road. Aurora was observing this whole scene, she ran at full speed to Clara and Stassie but her speed was much less to help the situation and even though the girls had heard her screaming they were too much terrified to move from there. The car driver tried to stop the car but it was hard to stop it at this speed before it collided with the girls.

Just in the matter of some milliseconds Aurora had a flashback of her own accident, happened years ago. She was extremely determined to help the girls and not to let them feel the pain she had felt. And when all this internal turmoil was going on, Aurora had somehow reached to the girls before the car had caught them and she pushed the girls with herself to the other side of the road.

All of this had happened so fast that she had very less time to actually acknowledge what had happened in the matter of seconds. She had somehow crossed the road full with vehicles, reached the girls, and pushed them out of the way in just seconds. Aurora herself could not believe what had just transpired as she sat on the roadside hugging Clara and Stassie close to her heart.

After the girls had calmed down all of them settled into the school bus and their day went on as usual. Aurora spent her day thinking about the unusual morning incident, not knowing what waited for her in the evening...

When the kids came back at the orphanage that afternoon after finishing their school, they noticed that they had two new and not-so-ordinary looking visitors. So digesting their ever growing curiosity and following the well taught orders of madame Laura all the kids greeted the young man and women politely and went to their rooms to freshen up.

The man was a quite muscular one with no hair on his head, wearing an old out of fashion long black coat with a bright red tie and the women was wearing a white T-shirt with some instruments drawn on it along with a pair of jeans which had some handcraft done on it, but what made her not-so-ordinary were her deepest brown hair and lightest green eyes almost seeming yellow in the light. The pair was looking quite intently at the kids as if they were trying to solve a mystery.

As Aurora was heading towards her room, madame Laura called for her and so she joined this weird group of people not knowing what to do next. Madame Laura asked all three of them to head towards her office for further discussion.

Once in her office madame Laura said, "So Aurora, do you have something to tell me that I should know?"

Aurora knew this tone and she knew perfectly well that she was in some kind of trouble. The best guess that Aurora could make was this whole scene looked quite related to the morning incident as it was the only out of ordinary thing that happened that day.

Aurora looked at the corners of office table and started to talk hesitantly, "Umm, madame Laura, I don't think there is anything much significant to tell except for the minor thing that happened today morning. It was not much serious. Just the thing is that, when Clara and Stassie were crossing the road today morning, the signal timed out and turned green before they could cross the road, and a car was coming, so I ran and moved the girls out of the way."

Just after finishing her monologue Aurora looked up and even though madame Laura was smiling she can feel the irritation and anger bubbling behind those eyes.

"So, that's all that happened, isn't it Aurora?", madame Laura asked in an overly friendly tone, which meant that she was indeed in trouble. But she could not understand that why such small thing had led to this much fuss.

The man sitting in front of madame Laura talked for the first time since being in her presence and he had a very confident and firm voice, "Were you really close to the girls to help them out of the way or just ran very fast from the other side of the road and moved the girls out of the way, in just the matter of seconds?"

His tone somehow felt accusing and Aurora couldn't really explain what had happened quite clearly as she herself was very confused with the morning's events.

"Well it's all I could remember of that incident, as I myself was quite focused on the girls, and wasn't looking for the distance. All that matters is they are fine, right.", Aurora said in a quite but confident voice.

"Is it the first time something this unusual has happened around you, Aurora?", the girl with brown hair asked with a gentle voice.

"Yeah, for as long as I could remember", Aurora answered after giving some time to think about the question.

"Well, then we really need to check something before we proceed miss Thorne", the man then stood abruptly and pulled out a stick which very much resembled a wand. Before Aurora could think of anything, he pointed it at her and muttered in a low but clear voice, "Discernus Magi"

A golden beam shooted straight from his wand and entered Aurora, just as it entered her body, Aurora felt as if the world around her has slowed down significantly. She could feel the vibrations in the air, a rhythmic humming which was calling for something within her. Her own heartbeats matched that melodic rhythm and she felt as if she has been freed from some heavy burden around her heart...

That moment of bliss passed and just as she came back to her senses she saw a variety of expressions on the faces of the occupants of the room.

Madame Laura was looking extremely shocked as if she has seen a ghost, all the while the man looked as if nothing much has happened with just a look of understanding, while the women looked very excited and happy as if she has finally got her first clue for a puzzle.

"What the hell just happen, she just emitted a golden hue...", said Madame Laura with a baffled voice.

It was for the first time in thirteen years that Aurora had heard the women in front of her swear. The whole incident was very confusing to her. For one it was very much clear that the person in front of her was a wizard and somehow this meant that magic was real, she could be in the wizarding world and if the timeline was also correct in this God foresaken world then it was the year of "Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban". But, if it truly was wizarding world, then why didn't she got her letter at the age of eleven and how come she never showed any magical outburst? Did Voldemort also existed in this world? Hell, she didn't even know whether Harry was in this world or not? Or even worst...What if Hogwarts didn't exist???

"Watcher Aurora, you alright?", the women asked with a bit of concern in her voice.

"Ah, yeah I am alright. Will you please explain what just happened?", asked Aurora with an curious face.

The man answered her with a smile on his face for the first time since she saw him, "Well, there isn't easier way of saying this but miss Aurora, you are a witch."

There was it, that one sentence which she so badly wanted to hear, that one sentence which somehow explained her appearance in the body of a baby, that one sentence which she was waiting for so many years, that one sentence which lead to so many questions in her mind...

One thing was sure, her life was going to be very exciting from now on...
