Unforeseen Rain
By SMYGO4EVA

The drumming of the rain on the lodging's roof was practically endless.

Now, they didn't mind; it was impossible to sleep anyway.

Their hands were entwined, the heat beginning to abate.

Kurogane didn't ask why it happened, only that this was bound to. Fai was well aware that such connection was what his heart yearned for, and now it had been realized.

It was past midnight, and everyone else was asleep, thank goodness, as they had gotten closer, oh so very close.

They had clung to each other, tightly, Fai's mouth on Kurogane's neck, as the warrior wrapped his strong arms around the magician, their arousals rutting against the other, bringing them both to completion.

Fai's breath was soft and ragged, while Kurogane's was rough and heavy. They were a mess, their bodies parted, lying bare on the bed, sated and tired.

They held this moment close, their hands still intertwined.

The cool air from outside met with their bare flesh, the window only partially closed.

Pulled back to reality by the sound of rainfall, Fai shifted towards Kurogane, the bed sheets clinging around his form. The magician placed his head on the warrior's shoulder, and he closed his eyes.

Kurogane began to follow suit, pulling Fai closer to him.
