Hey, before we get into the chapter, I just wanted to know if you guys would enjoy Jacob's perspective as well as Bella's. I would also like to highlight that it means a lot to me that you guys are sending in messages and reviews. I never thought that anyone would read it, but I am so glad that you guys are enjoying it. Thank you all so much!
BellaPOV
It had only been a few days, but it felt longer. So much had happened in such a short amount of time, it was overwhelming. I still had school, but I couldn't think about anything we were learning. Most of the days already felt long, but biology was the slowest. I always thought about Edward, it still hurt to think his name, but all my time spend with Jacob and the pack had mostly healed the hole in my chest. It still hurt though. I also could never stop thinking about Jacob, I knew I was his imprint, but even if he hadn't imprinted I would still love him. Leah had still been in a sad mood lately, I wondered why, but hadn't asked yet.
The final bell rang and I rushed to my truck, being me I tripped once, but kept going. The last few days as soon as school was over I would rush to my truck, go home, do any homework I had, cook Charlie dinner and then rush to head to La Push. I didn't always do all of my homework, sometimes I would push it off until I got back from La Push. Today I decided that I would put off homework till I got home later. I hopped into my truck, started it and drove home. I didn't have any homework today which surprised me, but I wouldn't complain. I was glad that I didn't have any homework. I knew that Charlie wouldn't be back for a while, so I wrote him a note telling him, I was going to Jacobs and that I would not be cooking dinner tonight. I knew he would be disappointed, but I was in a real hurry to get to La Push. I wasn't quite sure why, today had been like the last few days, but I was anxious to see Jacob.
I quickly put all my school stuff in my room and rushed back downstairs. I tripped on one of the stairs and fell down the two more to the floor. It hurt, but I had way worse, like last spring... I decided not to think about that right now and got up. I caught my breath, then rushed through the front door. I got into my truck and started driving, the ride was slow and boring. I finally saw their little faded red house in the distance as I kept driving. I parked out front and got out. I saw Jacob waiting for me on the porch, like he had yesterday. He looked tired and I suddenly felt guilty. I started to walk over to him, when I fell to the ground, pain immediately overwhelmed me as I screamed. I clutched my stomach as the pain washed through me.
"Bella!" I heard Jacob yell as I heard him running to me. I couldn't focus on him though, the pain was to much, it felt like my ribs were poking my insides. I screamed again, as I felt Jacobs arms around me. The pain was still there, but then it just stopped. I suddenly didn't feel any of the pain that had been engulfing me only seconds ago. I could feel the tears in my eyes, as I looked up at Jacobs face, he was staring back at me a look of horror and pain on his face.
"Bella, are you ok?" He asked me anxiously, still holding me close to him.
"Yeah." I said, it was true I now longer felt the pain, but I had no idea what had just happened.
"What just happened?" He asked, hoping I had an explanation, I didn't.
"I... don't really know." I said. He stared into my eyes for a few more seconds, before helping me up. He still looked worried, but he didn't say anything else. He helped me onto the couch in the living room, before sitting next to me.
"Bella, do you still feel ok?" He asked me, I knew he really wanted to know what had happend, I did too, but I still had no idea.
"I feel fine now, I don't know what happened." I told him. I then sat in his lap and hugged him. It was quite for a few minutes, before Jacob stopped hugging me and got up. His face looked less worried now, but I knew he was still thinking about what had happened.
"Jake, I'm fine really." I said, reassuring him. He just looked at me for a few seconds, before he let out a groan. I immediately wondered what was wrong and tried to get up, but he pushed me back down on the couch.
"Bells, I just remembered I have to run patrol." He said, I knew he was reluctant to leave me, but I knew that I shouldn't be a reason for him to not help the pack.
"Go, I'll be just fine." I told him, he looked at me reluctantly and then nodded.
"I'll be back in a few hours." He said, before coming over and giving me a kiss, it calmed me down.
"I'll have Embry come over, ok?" He said, as he started walking to the door. I nodded. He walked out through the back door and was gone. I wasn't sure what to do now, I was worried that the pain would come back. I decided to cook something, I slowly got up. I was still a little shacking up, but I managed it. As I had just started to make lasagna, I heard a howl in the woods. It was loud it sounded like an alarm. I was suddenly worried. 'What happened? Are they ok?' Thoughts swirled through my head, before I heard a voice behind me.
"Bella?" I froze, it was a voice I knew, a voice I loved, a voice I missed, but also a voice that froze me dead in my tracks. I slowly turned around and saw... Alice standing in the doorway.
Sorry guys I know a cliffhanger, but I promise to update soon. What do you think the pain came from? I also wanted to note that I will not always be able to update as frequently as I am right now. I am on break right know so I have more time to update. I hope you guys enjoyed chapter three!
