Why didn't the wolfs attack the Cullens? You guys seemed to want an answer to this question so here it is: The reason the wolf didn't attack right away is, because Jacob told them not too. Him and the rest of the pack were all ready for a fight and were going to attack, after all Alice broke the treaty, as did the rest of the Cullens. But he knew that attacking them would only hurt Bella more, so he told them to stand their ground and not attack, obviously they were very upset about this. But since Jacob is alpha they had to listen. If he wasn't a direct descendent of the chief his imprint would not be as strong as it is. Also many of you think Bella will become a wolf too, I won't say if she will or not, but you guys will find out what happens in the next few chapters. I also decided to have a few chapters written in Jacobs perspective, I think it will be more interesting to see what Jacob thinks about everything that is happening. JacobPOV

I was beyond mad, but I knew that Bella was already having a hard time after seeing the Cullens, ew, I knew that this was not good. I had asked Leah, Seth and Quil go run patrol. Sam and Embry were talking about the Cullens. And I had no idea where Jared and Paul were, probably running around the reservation. But I couldn't think about anything other then Bella at the moment, I had to find out what was happening to her. I helped her back inside and set her down on the couch. She just stared at me, a face of sadness, aanger and regret on her face. I sighed. She looked down towards the floor.

"Bella... what was that?" I asked her, trying to hide the anger, disgust and pain, she must have noticed, because she winced, still staring at the floor.

"I... I'm sorry." She said in a small voice, I just sat down next to her and waited for her to continue.

"I know they hurt me, but I couldn't let you guys hurt each other..." She paused for a second before continuing. "... I didn't want any of you guys to get hurt." I felt anger, but not at her, I was angry, bacuase the Cullens came back.

"Us or... them?" I asked her, I slightly hssing the last word. She reacted by making a sob sound, I felt bad. I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her into my lap, letting her cry for a few minutes silently. She finally broke the silence after calming herself down a bit.

"Either of you guys, not you and the pack, but I also... didn't want Alice or the Cullens to get hurt." She said quietly, she knew I would be mad. I was, but I took a deep breath before responding.

"Bells don't worry about me or the pack we would have been fine , the only reason we didn't attack was, becuase I didn't want to hurt you more. They were not happy about it, but I'm alpha so the had to listen." I said taking another deep breath before continuing. "Bells I don't want you anywhere near them, they hurt you and I never want to see you like that again." I told her. I had wanted to attack, but I couldn't hurt her, I just couldn't. I knew she would say that she had to talk to them.

"You know I will never change my mind." She said, looking up into my eyes. I knew she was referring to Edward. I just looked back at her.

"I know." I whispered. I knew she wouldn't leave me, but I still felt worried about it. Then she said what I knew was coming.

"But I have to still talk to them, I can't just pretend like they aren't back." She said, slowly lowering her gaze back to her hands. I sighed. 'No you don't "have to" anything!' I scoffed in my mind.

"I knew you were going to say that." I said.

"I know Jake, but Alice is still me friend. She said, in such a tiny voice that it was hard to hear her.

"Bells... no." I said, I knew she wouldn't listen, but I still said it.

"Jake, please. What if we made a compromise?" She asked hopefully. I sighed.

"Fine, but what kind of compromise?" I asked in a pained voice. She looked back up at me, her face had so many emotions, I couldn't register one specific one.

"What if one of you guys was there?"

"Thats not a good idea, you know we wouldn't be able to handle that long around them." I told her. She looked a bit frustrated.

"What if you guys had shifts, you guys took turns." She suggested hopefully.

"That could work..." I paused thinking, I really didn't want to do this, but I knew that she would do it anyway. "... fine, but not frequently. Is that fair?" She just nodded. I hadn't brought up the pain yet. I decided not to right now, she already had a lot on her mind. But I was going to ask Billy about it later. He had to know something right? She slowly, got up, before saying.

"I should get back to Charlie." She said. I nodded and gave her a hug and a kiss, before she walked out the door. I would have offered to drive her home, but I knew Billy would be home in a few minutes. I decided to wait in the kichen, when I heard the door open.

Billy and Sue came into the kitchen and looked at me. They must have know something was wrong. But it wasn't just one thing.

"The Cullens are back and something is going on with Bella." I said, they seemed upset by the news about the Cullens, but didn't react at all about Bella.

"That's not good, what happened?" Billy asked, ignoring the news about Bella.

"The little black haired leech crossed the treaty line and the rest followed." I said between by teeth.

"Was their a fight?" Sue asked anxiously.

"No, we will go discuss the treaty tomorrow." I told them looking at my hands.

"Good, what happened to Bella?" They both asked.

"I think she's... sick, it happened this morning when she came here, she said that it was very painful. Then it happened again when the Cullens were there, this time she screamed more and said that it wasn't just pain, but heat." I told them anxiety in my voice. They stared at each other before Sue answered.

"I wouldn't worry about it." She said. How could she just say that Bella was NOT ok!

"NO, you should have seen her today!" I replied angrily.

"Jake, you'll find out what if happening soon enough, we're not even sure." Billy said calmly. I started shaking violently. They were about to say something, but I ran outside and before I knew it felt my body shift, my clothes shred. I was a wolf again, I started running through the woods, when I picked up on a scent. I was surprised no one was with me, but I realized, Victoria. I let out a howl alerting all the others to phase. I suddenly heard them in my head.

Quil - What happened?

Jared - Leech?

Yeah

Leah - Is it someon... Victoria!

Lets go!

I ordered and we all rushed together into the woods.
