December 11th, Avengers Tower, The Workshop

Harry and Tony had spent a major portion of their time in the lab over the last month. With the world slightly quiet, SHADE was already working well with support from SHIELD; they didn't have much hero-ing to do.

"I think I got it." Harry said as he powered a set of runes causing the small box on the table to light up. A faucet on the side glowed with a soft blue hue before Harry turned the knob starting a flow of the cleanest water they'd ever seen.

"Success!" Tony said with a whoop as he drank a glass of it. "That's the best water I've ever tasted." Tony smacked his lips as he set the cup down. Harry nodded as he polished off his own water.

"This is going to change the world." Harry said with a smile. They had been working on creating an infinite source of water for months now. This box didn't purify or clean existing water, it created it. With this box water sources all across the world could be refilled with little to no cost.

"Are we sticking with the original plan?" Tony asked as he pulled up some plans on the holo screen.

"I think it's the best way." Harry said as he looked over the files. They plan to open a subsidiary that will offer water all across the globe for mere percentages of other distributors. While they could build more cubes, the science and magic behind the cube are much too precious to leave it laying around. With just a bit of tweaking it could summon natural elements from several different dimensions and cause massive damage to the entire plane, not just the world.

"You're right about that. I thought we might blow up New York when we accessed that chaos dimension." Tony said with a shake of his head. Harry shuddered a bit in response. If it wasn't for the reality stone Harry didn't know if he would have been able to close the rip in space before something nasty crawled out.

Tony and Harry tested it a bit more, ensuring the quantity and quality were enough for them to start filling tanks. With the testing done Harry and Tony cleaned up before heading out of the lab.

"Any plans tonight?" Tony asked as they rode the elevator.

"I've got a date with Ororo tonight." Harry said as the doors opened to the penthouse floor.

"I still don't understand how that works." Tony said with a jealous look on his face.

"Me either." Harry said with a small smirk. "When it first happened I wasn't sure it was a good idea but they were pretty persuasive." Tony glared at the growing smirk on Harry's face.

"No need to rub it in Gandalf." Tony grumbled as they stepped into the kitchen area.

"Rub what in?" Pepper asked as she looked up from the table alongside Natasha. Tony's eyes widened as he threw a look at Harry. Harry pretended to not see it as he walked over and greeted Natasha with a searing kiss before sitting down next to her.

"I was just telling Tony-"

"We were talking about a breakthrough in our research." Tony said as he shot a glare from behind Pepper who was now looking at Harry. Natasha, seeing the glare, smirked at realizing what they were probably talking about.

"Oh what happened?" Pepper asked.

"We got the Water Cube done today." Harry said, letting Tony off the hook.

"We should really think of a better name." Tony said as he took a seat next to Pepper. "Water Cube sounds so…bleh."

"Well since there will only ever be one of them, how about something magical?" Pepper said. Causing Harry and Tony to share a look.

"Cube of Poseidon?" Tony asked.

"Ocean's Bounty?" Harry replied right after.

"Neptune's Spout?" Tony said, gaining some chuckles.

"Ceto's Cube?" Harry said after a moment of silence.

"That's not bad. Rolls off the tongue, fits the theme." Tony rubbed his chin. "I like it." With a round of agreements Ceto's Cube was the tentative name for their new invention. They ordered lunch before Pepper headed back to her office and Natasha to the compound. Tony and Harry continued to sit there and talk about new ideas for a while before Tony left for his lab while Harry headed home.

Walking through the portal Harry was baffled when a blur rushed in front of him followed swiftly by a small wolf and an angry Wanda. Wanda stopped next to Harry as she huffed.

"What happened?" Harry asked.

"They're just being annoying." Wanda said as her frustration seeped away. "Ever since Teddy realized that he could overpower my magic he's started being more and more disobedient. Pietro is only making it worse by spurring him on." Harry chuckled lightly, getting a small glare from Wanda.

"Alright let me show you a few tricks that I learned from the Weasley twins." Harry said with a mischievous look. Wanda perked up as Harry taught her several spells developed by Fred and George, later perfected by George who made them much less fun during the war.

When Pietro and Teddy came running back in Wanda's wand was a blur as she shot two spells and hit both of them. Pietro suddenly tripped and flailed around as he slid across the ground. Teddy's little paws also started flailing around. Realizing he couldn't move properly, he whined as a small glow grew from his body. After a second he tried to get up again only to flail even more.

"Sister, what did you do to me?" Pietro said as he laid helplessly on the ground. Wanda smirked but didn't say anything as she walked away.

"I taught your sister something to keep you in line." Harry said from the side. Teddy was giving him big puppy dog eyes as he whined pitifully. "Nope, you can stay there until it wears off. You two shouldn't torment your sister like that." Harry said with a stern look at the two of them.

"I'm sorry." Teddy said as he morphed back into his human form.

"Don't tell me. When this wears off go apologize to your sister Wanda alright?" Harry said softly to Teddy who was still fumbling around. The spell Harry taught her mixed the signals in the brain causing the person to switch control of their left leg with their right arm and their right leg with their left arm. Once you were hit it was nearly impossible to coordinate your movements at all.

Looking at the two chastised boys Harry smirked as he left a timed finite on the area that would remove the effects after a few minutes. Walking upstairs he made his way into his bathroom to get ready for his date.

An hour later Harry smiled as he adjusted his tie in the mirror as two pale arms snaked around his waist.

"Hello love." Harry said with a fond look into the sparkling green eyes of Natasha.

"Hello to you too, handsome." Natasha said with a smirk as she checked him out in the mirror. "Where are you two going tonight?"

"There's this little Italian place just outside of Rome that I'm taking her to." Harry said as he finished straightening his outfit. He was dressed in a black suit with white button-up and dark blue tie. Natasha gave him a quick kiss as he turned around.

"Well you two have fun and feel free to bring her home early." Natasha said with a wink as she strutted into the bathroom, pieces of clothes falling off her as she moved. Harry watched for a moment before pulling himself out of it with a shake of his head. Deciding that he needed to leave, he walked downstairs as used the Y-Frame to head towards the mansion.

Walking out of the small portal room at the mansion Harry was greeted with the familiar sight of teenagers rushing around. Smiling he greeted the kids as he slowly made his way to the teachers wing. Walking up to a door with Ororo's name he knocked. The door opened revealing Ororo in a white wool dress, black leggings, and a black leather jacket.

"Hello beautiful." Harry said with a smile as Ororo opened the door wider.

"Hey." Ororo said with a smile as she leaned up and kissed him on his way into the room. "I'm just about ready." Ororo closed the door and walked into her bathroom. Harry looked around the room. He noticed it hadn't changed much since the last time he was here. A few artistic beast skins on the wall, a large circular bed sat on the floor towards the back of the room covered in thick blankets. A small floor table was to the side with pictures and different crafts spread around.

Smiling Harry looked at the pictures and saw Ororo in a few of them, most were her with the X-Men and kids from the mansion. Dead center were three big pictures, one of Wanda and Ororo wielding elemental magic, one of Ororo in tribal clothes with an older woman who shared her white hair and blue eyes, and the last was a picture of the first camping trip at the resort. In the picture Harry was floating a large group of teens as they all tried to jump on the water slide at the same time and the X-Men were scattered around chastising them.

"Ready?" Harry was pulled from his thoughts as Ororo walked up behind him.

"Of course." Harry said as he turned and looked at Ororo. Her hair was now up in a complex set of braids and gold hoops now hung from her ears. He gave her a small whistle before pecking her lips. "Shall we?" Harry asked as he presented his arm. Ororo nodded before grabbing it as Harry summoned a portal and they walked through.

"So where are we going?" Ororo asked as they walked out of an alley into a small street of European style houses.

"How do you feel about Italian?" Harry asked as he opened the door to a small restaurant.

"Sounds lovely." She said with a smile as Harry led her inside.

"Good evening Sir and Lady. For Two?" The host asked as he saw them come in.

"Yes please." Harry said with a smile. The host led them to a small table alongside the wall. The restaurant was mostly full, the sounds of silverware on plates sounded out amongst low voices. The tables all had clean white cloth hanging over them. Candles affixed to short silver holders and leather bound menus were placed alongside cutlery. Harry pulled Ororo's chair before taking his own seat as a waiter made his way across.

"What will our guests be drinking this evening?" he asked.

"The 2011 Château du Moulin-à-Vent Croix des Vérillats if you would." Harry said as he looked over at Ororo.

"That sounds lovely." Ororo said in near perfect Italian. The waiter nodded before leaving quickly. Harry took a sip of his water as he browsed the menu. "Any recommendations?"

"In the mood for seafood?" Harry asked as he looked up at her. She gave him a nod as she locked eyes with him. "The swordfish is good." Harry said a little slowly as he kept staring into her eyes. He felt a shoeless foot rub against the inside of his calf as he froze for a moment.

"Then that's what I'll have." Ororo said with a mischievous smile on her face. Harry had known her for years and it still surprised him at how playful she could be. The dedicated no nonsense teacher was nowhere to be found tonight.

When the waiter came back he poured Harry a sample before pouring each of them a glass of wine. Harry ordered two of the swordfish plates and a risotto starter. His face was showing a forced smile as he calmed himself from the teasing under the table.

"You're playing a very dangerous game Ororo." Harry said with a smirk as he grabbed her foot and sent a tingle of magic up her leg causing her to shiver. Ororo's eyes shined as they narrowed. Harry's smirk twisted into a helpless smile as he noticed the change of prey to predator.

"You know I'm quite the fan of dangerous games." Ororo said as she leaned slightly over the table. Harry mimicked her movements and stole a quick kiss before shooting her a wink. Ororo's laugh was soft as she leaned back. "How are the twins?"

"Good. Pietro is getting on Wanda's nerves a bit too much these days." Harry said with a shake of his head as Ororo chuckled before he sipped his wine. "Wanda is doing well but I think she's been struggling with what she wants to do with herself."

"That's understandable." Ororo said with a nod. "With her abilities it's bound to be hard to choose between a regular life and something a bit more…unique. If it weren't for the teachings of my tribe leader I would have been in a similar situation as her."

"If it were up to me she would spend the rest of her days at home researching with me." Harry said with a rueful smile. Ororo chuckled at him.

"You know she won't do that. That girl is destined for great things."

"Bah she could do great things from home too." Harry said grumbling.

"Don't be like that Harry. She's growing up. It's normal that she has dreams and aspirations outside of home." Ororo gently chided. Harry sighed as he looked around the restaurant.

"I know. She's my little girl though." Harry said as he looked across the table and paused. "You know 10 years ago I was staying in a cave in the mountains. I had no one and nothing around me besides my trunk. Now I have a family and friends to share my life with." Ororo smiled as she reached across and grabbed Harry's hand.

"You're a good man Harry. That little girl looks up to you like a Father now and she'll always think that way. You don't have to worry that she won't visit or come home, she loves you like any daughter loves their parents." Ororo said. Harry was about to reply but the waiter came back with their first course. Conversation lightened after that as they discussed what was new and plans for the holidays.

When Harry had taken his final bite of his desert he wiped his mouth before leaning back a little in his chair. He watched as Ororo ate her desert slowly. When she noticed him watching her with a smile on his face she slowly ran her foot along his leg.

Harry narrowed his eyes before he looked towards the waiter and made a small check motion. The waiter quickly came by as Harry handed a couple hundred dollars. He watched as Ororo thoroughly cleaned her spoon before he stood and almost dragged her from the restaurant. Ororo laughed loudly as he led her away from the restaurant before pulling her into the same side street they used to get there.

Instead of making another portal though Harry laid down some wards before and before she could say anything Harry had her pushed up against the wall. A while later Ororo and Harry were panting as they rested their heads against one another.

"You know you'll have to replace those right." Ororo said as she looked down at the torn leggings. Harry laughed in response.

"Anytime." Harry said as he leaned back and set Ororo down. "You know Natasha said she'd wait up for us." Ororo gave him a saucy smile as she bent down and picked up her leggings.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Harry wasted no time in making a portal directly into his bedroom.

AN:Okay so yesterday I was sitting down to write the new chapter when I kinda felt bleh writing it. To get some perspective I reread my earlier chapters and I noticed a few of things I'm not really happy with.

1. The early chapters really need an edit. Like I didn't like reading them and that's not a good sign.

2. My story feels... disjointed. I have written my story in a way that someone not well versed in the MCU or Harry Potter would feeel like they're missing something and it's true.

3. Something about my story, besides the above points, doesn't feel smooth. I'm not quite sure what it is but I know it's there.

That leaves me with two options. 1. I could continue from here and just try to improve the story telling as I write. or 2. I can stop, take a break and clean up my earlier chapters. I like option 1, as I don't want to make you all wait for new chapters.

Before I decide though I want your thoughts on it. So leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Also, I tried something new this chapter and kinda disregarded my outline and wrote off the cuff. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading.

Reviews -

Monkey D. Conan - You're right and I've thought about it a lot. I think I'll doing a frank discussion between them soon.

Granetio Solozari - Thanks. I was hoping my hints were clear enough without shoving it out there.

Dauntes - Thanks! Glad you liked it.

plums - Yes. I'm aware of that and plan ot fix it. I'm just trying to figure out how.

oneoddtod - Thank you for choosing to read it!

totalsolution - You know it's funny I always check my reviews after I write the chapter for the day so I can reply, or comment on things readers tell me. I've already realized I had some problems with my story (see above note) and was looking at what was missing. This helps a lot. Depending on the feedback I get I might take some time to clean everything up, rewrite some chapters, add some others (maybe just expand old chapters), and address the issues I found as well as what you put here. I really appreciate the feedback as it pointed out the flaws I had and not just 'I don't like this or that'. So thank you. I'm hoping you'll continue to enjoy the story as I try and get everything under control.
