Chapter 3

Stanford and Lilith laid on the bed staring at each other memorizing each other faces. The human man reached over and brushed away some of Lilith's dark hair that sticking to her cheek. It was then she noticed his hand. She grabbed his hand as he pulled it back. Lilith's eyes went wide when she saw six large fingers on his hand. Stanford saw Lilith's eyes go wide. And prepared himself for her to scream, hit him, or ridicule him.

"My Titan I've never seen polydactyly on the hand before. I've have seen it on a witches foot before. But never on the hand." marveled Lilith

Stanford allowed himself to relax after hearing what Lilith said. He then showed her his other hand and said "I have it on both of my hands my dear. I have what is called postictal polydactyly which means. I'm fully formed and functioning." informed Stanford

"My Titan Stanford you are one intriguing man." stated Lilith

Now that they have completely calmed down. Both Lilith and Stanford are tired. Stanford wrapped his arms around Lilith and let out a sigh. Lilith snuggled into his embrace and fell asleep. Hours later the sun is starting to rise over Bonesborough. Stanford was the first to wake when the sun shined into the room. He looked over at Lilith and was trying to remember what happened. He slowly sat up and felt his head throb a bit. Then H remembered what happened last night. He looked over at the woman sleeping peacefully next to him. The man smiled and doesn't regret what had happened. Stanford quietly got up out of bed trying not to wake Lilith.

He found the clothing that he took off. And put them back on then sat down and put his boots on. He got his trench coat and stood up. Stanford look back over at the bed. He doesn't want to leave things like this. So he left the room and went down stairs. He went up to the bar and asked "Do you have a paper and pen?" The bartender nodded and gave Stanford paper and a pen. First Stanford dug around in his bag looking for something. Soon he found what he was looking for then wrote a note for Lilith.

Dear Lilith,

I want to thank you for a wonderful night. I thoroughly enjoyed out time together last night. You are a lovely woman. And I hope you are able to one day make things right where you went wrong. I also have to admit you are the first woman. That I lost myself and had sex with. I wish that I could stay but... I must continue my travels.

Stanford Pines

After writing the note he went back to room 4. He quietly went into and place the note. And a blue crystal that he picked up during his travels. On the nightstand next to the bed. He lightly kissed Lilith on the cheek. Then he quietly left the room and went back down stairs. Stanford left the bar and made his way through Bonesborough. An hour later Lilith woke up. She yawned and sat up then her head started throbbing. Lilith groaned and asked "What the Titan happened last night?" The woman used her healing magic to ease her aching head. Once her head feeling better she looked around. Soon her gaze came to the nightstand. She saw a piece of paper and a blue crystal. Lilith picked up the crystal and the paper. She read the note and everything came back to her.

Lilith smiled and looked at the crystal. She likes the color blue it is. The witch got up and got dressed. Then she put the note and the crystal in her pocket. She left the room and went down stairs. Lilith gave the key to the bartender then left. That afternoon Stanford found a rift in a meadow. The rift is blue so Stanford knows it's safe. Before he went through the rift. Stanford looked back in the direction of Bonesborough.

"Take care Lilith my dear. I'm not sure if we'll ever see each other again. But take care and I hope you'll be able to make things right." stated Stanford with a smile

With that said Stanford went through the rift. Not after he was gone Lilith had returned to the castle. She went to her room and hid the note from Stanford. Then she got some leather and made the crystal into a necklace. Two months have passed. And quite a bit has happed. Lilith and Eda got into a witches duel. Lilith left the Emperor's coven. She was staying with Eda but after transforming into the raven beast for the first time. And fighting with Eda's owl beast. Lilith decided to stay with her parents. Lilith heard from Hooty that Eda unlocked a new form to her curse that she calls her harpy form. Then she went on a time traveling adventure with Luz.

Now she is following Owlbert to the Owl house. As they headed to the house. Owlbert is telling her what Luz told Eda and King. That Luz saw and learned while in Belos's mind. Soon she arrived at the Owl house. She went in and said "Edalyn Owlbert told me what's going on. I can't believe that the day of Unity. Is actually a draining spell." Then Lilith started beating herself up and Eda yelled at her. Hooty was so happy to see Lilith that he coughed up a bunch of stuff. Including a letter for King that could a lead. While King, Luz, and Hooty packed for their trip. Eda noticed something different Lilith. Yes she has gained weight and has filled out. But she can see that Lilith has a bit of a round belly.

Right now she is more worried about Luz and King. Not long after Luz, King, and Hooty left. Eda and Lilith took what they could and had to leave the house. Because the coven scouts surrounded the house. Now Eda and Lilith are in a cave on the knee. Even now that Lilith is wearing a coat. Eda can see Lilith's round belly. So Eda couldn't help but to ask "Is it just me or did you let yourself go Lilly?" Lilith raised an eyebrow and replied "Well I have been indulging in Mother's cooking. And maybe I've been eating a little too much." Eda took a good look at her sister. Then she said "I'm going to ask you some questions. And I want you to answer me honestly." Lilith nodded and said "Sure I can do that."

"Have you had any hot flashes, night sweats, or have you been irritable?" asked Eda

"No I haven't had any of those." replied Lilith

"Ok when did you last have your monthly bleed? Have you has nausea or fatigue? Or eating things that you usually don't eat?" asked Eda

"My last monthly bleed was two months ago. I have had some nausea here and there. I have been taking naps which is something I don't normally do during the day. And I have eaten a few things that I don't normally eat." replied Lilith

Eda thought about what Lilith just told her. Then she looked at Lilith again and said "From what you just told me Lilly. It sounds like that you're pregnant." Lilith was about to argue when she thought back. To the night she shared with Stanford. She sat down next to Eda and said "Oh my Titan Eda I do believe you're right." Eda gaped and asked "I am but... How can that be you would have to have sex?"

"Well I am not a virgin flower Eda!" spat Lilith

Eda's eyes went wide and looked over at Lilith.

"Oh sorry but it's true I'm not a virgin. A couple of days before our duel. I went to a bar in Bonesborough. At first I was eating and drinking alone. Until a man sat next to me. I didn't pay any attention to him Until he put down his hood and I saw that he had round ears. And the fact that he asked me what food and drink I recommended." explained Lilith

Eda got comfortable and said "Go on."

"We talked, laughed, ate, and drank for a few hours. Then I asked the bartender if he had and free rooms. He said that he did and gave me a key. I gave him some snails and Stanford and I went up to the room We talked for a while longer and came to the subject of siblings. I started crying when I was talking about you. He whipped away my tears then he kissed me. One thing to another and we had sex." informed Lilith

"Did either of you use protection?" asked Eda

Lilith shook her head no and Eda said "Oh my Titan I can't believe it. Perfect prissy Lilly had a drunken one night stand. And now she is pregnant." Eda just then realized what she just said. Then she said "Oh my Titan you're pregnant and I'm going to be an Auntie!" Lilith sighed and said "I'm just as surprised as you are Eda." Eda looked at Lilith and asked "You are why?" Lilith looked at Eda and replied "Considering the fact Mom told us that there are fertility issues for the women on both sides of the family. I had myself checked out by healers. They all told me I'd have a bitch of time getting pregnant." Eda also sighed and said "I hear you there sis healers have told me that I'm baron."

Lilith reached over and hugged her sister and said "I'm sorry to hear that Edalyn. But you are mother figure to King and Luz. That's something." Eda smiled and said "Thank you Lilly. But I'm glad that you beat the odds. And are now going to have your own kids." Lilith pulled away, stood up, walked away, and said "I don't know if I'm going to be a very good one. Considering the kind of person I was. While I was in the Emperor's coven." Eda got up and walked over to her sister. She put her hand on Lilith's shoulder and said "Don't talk like that. You'll be a good mother because you are becoming a better person. And if you need any help you have Mom and I."

Lilith smiled and said "Thank you Eda." Eda also smiled and said "Anytime sis." With that said the sister's Clawthorne looked out the cave. That they are in and wondered how they were going to defeat Belos. As far as they know they didn't have any allies. They also wondered if Luz, King and Hooty were ok.
