Sometimes the best way to listen is through your heart. We are all connected in one way or another the invisible threads of the universe…- Kreann'ot n'Horosh during the settlement of the Animal Tribes.

At Castle Greyskull…

The tome was flipping its pages, while someone, a lone figure of the past gazes into the events that happened before.

"The past is returning with a vengeance. The curse of the predecessors is now the of the successors. They must return to Castle Greyskull soon, before he is awakened." The ghost breathed with dread in her tone while scouring the wreckage of the once great castle.

There were images of before, nightmares of the past that flashed by her eyes. People she knew, people she loved and bought beside were in pain, dying, blood sprayed everywhere while the cackles of the beast echoed in the hallways. She frowned as she heard her own words returning inside her very soul like a chilling wind. She sighed hard while she is condemned by tragedy and regrets, doomed to forever wandering the desecrated castle that holds the greatest known power in the universe. She was all that was left of before, alone and to never see them ever again, for they have moved on while she did not, could not. Her obligations and failures tether her here, for she still must play her role.

"They will return soon and then, the next era in the battle of good and evil shall begin."

Within the Jungle…

Adam tossed and turned into his bed, having trouble with rest while the dreams plagued his mind.

Images that Adam barely understood twisted into nightmarish sights while he tried to flee from such things. He awoke with a gasp as he noticed the Great Moss Man was standing across his bed in the medical hut. He bowed to the young man.

"I have seen you have awakened from your slumber, young one." The God of Nature and the Wild muttered while flowers bloomed in his vine-like hair.

Adam bowed back to one of the Great Mystics of Eternia.

"Great Kreann'ot n'Horosh, I am honored to be in your presence, but what brings you here this morning?" Adam politely wondered about the plant creature.

"Your dreams have brought me to you as they are in sync with the visions I have. Destiny will awaken for you, and it seems to stem from that young woman in the bedding next to yours. Soon, you will need to speak to her." Kreann'ot n'Horosh advised the young teenager.

"How? I don't know Tongue'di Lingual." Adam wondered, lacking confidence in his abilities or talents that were locked within him.

"You know, Child, you have the heart to. For it is not your ears or your mind that you need to know of Tongue'di Lingual, but your heart. We are all connected, Child. To the trees, to the animals, to the stone, and even to the metal and technology and even the magic of the Universe. These threads bind us all together into a tapestry of the Fate design. Connect with your thread, let it vibrate and awaken, then you will know, you will see, you will feel." Kreann'ot n'Horosh informed the child while presenting the flower that glowed green with life while glowing threads appeared, connecting to everything, including Adam.

"How?"

"You know, Young Adam, you just need to remember."

Adam looked at himself and touched his chest, feeling the calm heartbeat within.

"I don't understand, Master Kreann'ot n'Horosh." Adam breathed then looked up to see Moss Man was already gone.

The blond boy then looked at his chest again.

"I don't know how… or maybe I don't remember? Ugh, why am I bad at riddles?" Adam whined but then his ears pricked up when he heard a moan from the other bed, from their tree lady patient.

She rose, groaning something that Adam couldn't understand. Adam then hid behind the binder as a precaution while he watched the teenage girl look around and take note of her surroundings. She looked so strange; her clothes didn't seem to come from the jungle. He heard from the adults of the Tiger Tribe that they believed that she may be actually from the city. He had never seen someone from the city before.

He mustn't be careful, because the girl spotted him. He squeaked and tried to retreat but the girl followed him. She was shouting something at him, but Adam couldn't understand her.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're saying." Adam apologized, but she didn't understand him.

She was trying to think while Adam remembered what Moss Man said to him.

"…For it is not your ears or your mind that you need to know of Tongue'di Lingual, but your heart. We are all connected, Child. To the trees, to the animals, to the stone, and even to the metal and technology and even the magic of the Universe. These threads bind us all together into a tapestry of the Fate design. Connect with your thread, let it vibrate and awaken, then you will know, you will see, you will feel."

"You know, Young Adam, you just need to remember."

Adam wanted to try so he closed his eyes… and focused, he focused on his heartbeat, he listened to the song, he then listened to the world outside and heard the rhythm of the world.

"You know, Young Adam, you just need to remember."

Life had a song, a melody within every breath and though it seemed complex, it held a pattern, a rhyme, a connection… Adam understood her words a little more…

"…Going to find this 'champion' if people around here don't understand me? There's gotta be a way to talk to him, come on Teela."

He understood her.

He understood her!

But can he talk to her?

"Your name is Teela?" He asked her, startling the girl!

"You understand me? But I thought-."

"I just started to. I didn't know I could Tongue'di Lingual like my father. Sorry, my name is Adam." The young Blond introduced himself.

"Tongue'di Lingual? I thought that was a myth and speaking of myth, where did I end up?" She questioned the boy.

"Oh, you're in my village; welcome to the Tiger Tribe." Adam smiled as he looked at the girl's clothing. "Are you a city person?"

"Yeah, why do you ask?" Teela wondered.

"Because I've never seen a city person before."

"But… you are one."

Adam was stunned by her words.

"Though I don't know why you were talking in another language-."

Before they could continue, Adam's father, Wun-Dar the Warrior.

"Ah, I see that our friend is finally awake."

On the edge of the Jungle…

A ship finally landed while Duncan, Evalyn, and Kronis emerged.

"Do you think my sister's alright?" Duncan nervously muttered while his employer marched ahead of him.

"Kid, I would forget your sister right now because she's dead meat in betraying the rebellion." The former royal engineer scoffed.

"B-but-." Duncan stuttered.

"She may be forgiven if she surrenders the sword when we find her. We have been waiting too long for this moment but soon magic will return to the people once more." Evalyn declared with confidence.

"Not only that, but engineers will finally be first-class citizens-heck we might even rule what we build," Kronis added.

"Yeah but isn't it a little extreme-."

"Everything we have done is to free the kingdom from the iron rule of Randor! If you are to have your place in the new world, you must follow us!" Evalyn scolded the child.

"Y-yes ma'am."

The witch groaned and then looked to the forest.

"Now… where did she go?"

She activated her spell to see the memory of Teela running.

"Teela, she's okay~!" Duncan breathed with relief at the sight.

The memory of the sword then glowed, and the image disappeared.

"Blast it! The Sword is masking her presence!" Evalyn growled with rage.

"No need to worry. I spotted some poachers near here and we can persuade them to aid us." Kronis suggested in a sinister way as they saw a camp nearby, "And with poachers, we can find Poach Bots."

"Perfect."
