I'M SORRY THIS CHAPTER TOOK SO LONG IT'S REALLY HARD TO COME UP WITH THIS STUFF AND I HAVE OTHER STUFF TO WORK ON.
It was Friday afternoon and Lincoln was at his locker gathering his stuff to go home. He had made the decision to go against his family's wishes and go to the death smash concert with Maggie. And he was wondering how he was going to pull it off the first time he'd have to sneak out past his parents and sisters.
"Hi Lincoln." Stella said as she approached him.
"Hey Stella. Whats up?" Lincoln asked.
"Look I was wondering if you were doing anything this weekend." Stella asked while rubbing her arm nervously.
"Actually I…" Lincoln said before he was interrupted by Rusty and the guys.
"Hey Linc hey stella." Rusty said.
"What're you guys talking about?" Zach asked.
"I was just asking Lincoln something." Stella said.
"Yeah she was wondering what I was doing this weekend." Lincoln said. "I'm actually going to a concert with Maggie"
"No way Lincoln you dog." Rusty said.
"You have a date with an older woman, you have better luck with it than I ever did." Clyde said.
"Seriously Lincoln what's your secret?" Liam asked.
"Yeah how'd you convince a 13 year old to go out with you?" Zach asked.
"Actually she asked me." Lincoln said.
"NO WAY." the four boys said in unison.
"Yeah she asked me and I said yes." Lincoln said.
While hearing the news that Lincoln was going out with an older woman Stella had to use every ounce of willpower to fight back tears. She grinded her teeth to keep her from screaming out in jealousy.
"Stella are you okay?" Lincoln asked.
"What? oh I'm fine Lincoln." Stella said.
"Oh, ok well I have to talk with Maggie about the plan for the concert see you guys later. " Lincoln said as he put on his backpack.
"By Lincoln good luck on your date." Rusty said.
"Oh and one more thing, do you think you guys can keep this under wraps? my family isn't really crazy about me going and I don't want this getting back to them." Lincoln said and his friends gasp at the sound of the shocking news.
"Really you're going behind your parents back?" Zach asked.
"Well yeah and i wouldn't have to if it weren't for my sisters they're always reuning stuff for me, but i'm not gonna let them ruin this." Lincoln said. "So please don't let them find out about this."
"Sure thing Linc our lips are sealed." Rusty said.
"Really you guys promise?" Lincoln asked.
"We promise." Clyde, Rusty, Liam and Zach said in unison.
While the guys readily agreed to keep Lincoln's secret Stella looked at the ground undecided, hesitant to help Lincoln do something she knew was wrong with the girl she was growing ever more jealous of.
"Stella?" Lincoln said.
"Huh, oh yeah me too." Stella said in a less than excited tone.
"Thanks, bye you guys are awesome." Lincoln said as he exited through the school doors.
While Clyde and the guys were overjoyed at the friends' luck with a 13 year old girl Stella felt her heart shatter at the news.
"Hey guys I gotta go too." Stella said.
"You okay stella?" Clyde asked.
"Oh yeah I'm fine I'm fine just tired is all well, see you guys later." Stella said as she rushed out the door to keep people from seeing the tears streaming down her face.
LATER
Lincoln and his sisters arrived back at the Loud house in vanzilla. As Vanzilla pulled up into the driveway Lincoln rushed out of the van and into the house and into his room. Lincoln opened his laptop and started a video chat with Maggie.
"Hey Linc." Maggie said.
"Hey Maggie." Lincoln responded.
"So we gotta plan for tomorrow?" Maggie asked.
"I'm still working on it, it's kinda hard to ilude 11 people." Lincoln said.
"You're probably just overthinking it, believe me I've done my share of sneaking out." Maggie Said.
"Any ideas?" Lincoln asked.
"A few." Maggie said with a grin.
A FEW MINUTES LATER
At the McBride house Clyde was in his bathroom giving his cats a bath when he heard Lincoln's voice on his walkie talkie.
"Clyde, Clyde you there?" Lincoln said.
"Hey Lincoln whats up?" Clyde said.
"Clyde, I have a plan to go to the concert with Maggie and i'm gonna need your help." Lincoln said.
"You've put together a presentation detailing how responsible you are and why you should be allowed to go." Clyde said.
"Heck no." Lincoln said. "I'm gonna sneak to the concert."
To say Clyde was shocked was an understatement. Lincoln had not put this much effort into disobeying his parents since they went to see the harvester.
"Um Lincoln are you sure about this, maybe you should listen to your parents and sisters." CLyde said.
"No Clyde I told you I'm done letting my sisters ruin things for me." Lincoln said. "Now are you gonna help me or not?"
"Oh okay." Clyde said not having the heart to say no.
"Great thanks pal." Lincoln said. "I actually have Maggie to thank for this plan, would you believe she's done this before."
"No not at all." Clyde said sarcastically.
LATER THAT NIGHT
The Loud family was gathered in the dining room eating dinner. They had been sitting down for a few minutes and Lincoln was dead silent, hesitant to speak to his family.
"So Lincoln, how was school today?" Lynn Sr. asked.
Lincoln remained silent.
"Look sweetie I know you're upset about not going to the concert but it's for your own good you can't stay mad about it forever." Rita said.
"Whatever hey if I can't go to the concert can I at least hangout at Clydes tomorrow?" Lincoln asked.
Rita and Lynn Sr. looked at each unsure
"Well okay." Lynn Sr. said hesitantly.
"But we don't wanna see or hear about you being anywhere near the concert." Rita said.
"Fine." Lincoln said.
Lincoln then got up and put his plate then walked upstairs to his room while hiding a small grin on his face.
