It was saturday afternoon and it was only a few hours before the concert and Clyde agreed to help Lincoln with his plan to see it behind his family's back. Lincoln was currently on his way back from Flip's food and fuel with a flippy in his hand. He couldn't help but smirk at his plan to sneak to the concert, he couldn't believe how good it felt to not let his sisters interfere in his life.
Lincoln walked down the street drinking his flippy when he saw something that stopped him in his tracks. That something was the sight of his friend Stella sitting on a park bench hugging her knees and staring at the ground.
"Hey Stella." Lincoln said as he walked up to getting the girls attention.
"Oh h-hey Lincoln." Stella said in a less than thrilled tone then looked down at the ground.
"Stella are you okay?" Lincoln asked.
"Well um uh." Stella uttered nervously hesitant to tell Lincoln what troubled her.
"Relax Stella is somethings' bothering you, you can tell me we're friends you can trust me." Lincoln said, putting a hand on her shoulder. Stella felt like she took a punch to the chest at hearing Lincoln call her his friend.
"Lincoln are you sure going to this concert is a good idea? I mean sneaking out behind your parents back just isn't you." Lincoln asked.
"Stella I told you i wasn't gonna let my sisters get in my way anymore." LIncoln said.
"I get that Lincoln, but have you ever thought that maybe Maggie isn't the best influence on you?" Stella asked.
"No and you're starting to sound like my sisters." Lincoln said.
"Well Linc maybe they're right ever since you started hanging with her you haven't been acting like yourself." Stella said.
"You say that like it's a bad thing." Lincoln said.
"What do you mean?" Stella asked.
"Ever since I met her she helped toughen me up and stand up for myself." Lincoln said. "She helped me realize i don't have to take crap from anyone, especially not my sisters."
"But Lincoln." Stella said.
"Enough Stella this is the last wanna hear about this." Lincoln said as he got up and walked away.
Stella clenched her knees and looked down saddened by her friends' outburst.
ONE HOUR LATER
Stella was walking around the royal woods mall and headed towards Cold Subject. Stella walked into the store, looked around and spotted Maggie looking at a black tube top that said 'who cares' in green letters.
"Hey Maggie." Stella said, getting her attention.
"Oh hey Stella what's up." Maggie said.
"So i hear you and Lincoln are going to a concert tonight." Stella said.
"Yeah it's gonna be wild." Maggie said.
"Sorry I just gotta ask what exactly is going on between you and Lincoln?" Stella asked.
"What do you mean?" Maggie asked.
"Like what is your relationship with him? Because you guys seem like a little more than friends." Stella said.
"Why are you so concerned about it? If I didn't know better I'd say you were jealous." Maggie said, smirking.
"W-what I-I-I'm not jealous, Lincoln and I are j-j-just friends." Stella said nervously while blushing from ear to ear. "Don't try and change the subject, it's just ever since Lincoln started hanging out with you he hasn't been himself."
"And you think that's a bad thing or it's my fault?" Maggie asked.
"I've just noticed that you've had an influence on him." Stella said.
"Well maybe I have, all I've done is teach him some stuff including how to stand up for himself especially to his sisters." Maggie said.
"What?" Stella said.
"Yep I taught Lincoln that he doesn't have to take crap from anyone, and that he shouldn't have to deal with people who don't appreciate him." Maggie said.
"But sneaking out to a crazy concert behind his family's back." Stella asked.
"He told you about that huh, well it is gonna be crazy." Maggie said as she bought her stuff and walked through the door. "And who knows? Maybe we'll do stuff that'll make us more than friends." Maggie said and puccered and smacked her lips before leaving.
Stella watched Maggie walk away as her face turned red with rage as steam blew out of her ears.
LATER THAT NIGHT
At the loud house Lincoln was walking down the stairs about to leave the house for his supposed 'hang out' with Clyde.
"Alright I'm headed to Clydes." Lincoln said alerting his family that he was leaving.
"All right sweetie have fun Rita said while typing on her laptop in the dining room.
"But remember we want you nowhere near that concert." His dad said from the kitchen.
"Yeah I know I remember." Lincoln said as he walked out the door. "I also remember how kept me from going to ace savvy convention, well you won't keep me from this." Lincoln said to himself.
Lincoln walked to Clyde's house and up to his house and rang his doorbell. The door opened and Lincoln was greeted by Clyde's two dads.
"Hi Mr and Mr Mcbride." Lincoln said.
"Hello Lincoln come on in." Harold Mcbride said.
Lincoln walked into the house and was greeted by Clyde with a fist bump.
"That's an interesting new look Lincoln." Howard said hesitantly.
"Thanks Mr Mcbride." Lincoln said
"So what do you boys feel like for dinner?" Harold asked.
"No thanks, we're not too hungry right now dad." Clyde said.
"Yeah we'll just be catching up on ace savvy in Clydes room." Lincoln said.
"Okay if you need us you know where to find us." Howard said.
Lincoln and Clyde entered Clyde's room and closed the door behind them.
"Thanks a million Clyde I owe you one." Lincoln said as he ran towards Clyde's window and opened it.
"Lincoln are you sure about this, this isn't really you." Clyde said.
"Pft You sound just Stella, relax Clyde I know what i'm doing." Lincoln said as he leapt out the window and ran down the street.
"I hope so." Clyde said as he began breathing into his paper bag.
Lincoln made his way towards Royal Woods Mall and saw a large crowd inside. Lincoln scanned the crowd and spotted Maggie wearing the tube top she got at the mall, short jeans the bared her legs and her hair tied back in a ponytail.
"Hey Mags." Lincoln said as he ran up to her.
"Hey Linc." Maggie said.
"wow You look amazing." Lincoln said blushing.
"You look pretty good yourself." Maggie said grabbing him by the chin moving him inches close to her face. "So are you ready for the most fun and crazy night of your life."
"Fun yes, Craziest there gonna have to try hard for that." Lincoln said. "When you live with ten sisters it heightens your standard for crazy."
Maggie giggled at Lincoln's remark. "alright let's see if the concert meets your high standards." Maggie said as she put her arm around Lincoln's hip.
