Chapter 1

All right now we're finally to the part where the whole point of the story commits to what I said earlier about the world being changed, and the world has changed by this point the world has been caught up. I didn't wanna go through all the boring stuff with the world being created and how it became Flat I might give a brief story on that real quick because this chapter is one of those quick chapters kind of and I'll show you what I mean in a minute.
Meaning, I'm not going through all that boring world-being-created stuff, but I am gonna get to the important part about Ezra and Alvin's relationship in this story. It's a unique take on how this could go wrong but right at the same time. And it can be very important because it's what brings us to modern Alencia today.
It'll be similar to the somewhat similar to the memory Oracle, except I'm gonna shorten it a little bit we're not gonna go through all this stuff with chapters one through eight.
Also, I came up with this idea because of what Ezra said about Alvin's consumption and how he came as if he was made of his ultimate or the next exit. Next the connection spell and why Alvin is the way he is and more disconnected and things. .
Unless I decide to go through unless you want me to go through a bit by bit, not like the memory Oracle, but bit by bit pieces of history here and there and these next few chapters leading up to the 2000-year mark for our girl Serafina to come back out soon.
This would be several years later like lots of years later, but the world has become ageless and I will get to that soon the girl has been our girl and has been underground since 2012 and there are no more years after that so the passage of time has been disconnected.
And don't worry, there'll be a section where there'll be a story where she'll be telling her story from beginning to end from where she was in the ground to the time of being brought out of the ground, but that won't be for another while yet.
And we'll go back and forth between Ezra and Alvin and their relationship and some things with Serafina and what she's going through underground for these next 2000s years.
And before we get to the main event with Ezra and Alvin, and all that we're gonna see what Serafina is up to as well, so I'll start with her point of view and then will veer off from that for a bit, so we'll start with her one of you and then we will end with Ezra's point of view.
So this will be year one for her underground for the world above it is ageless or as the game puts it zero MG.
The land is now called the land.
After this little bit with Ezra and Alvin will get back to Serafina documenting her time underground until she comes back above ground 2000 years later we will not document everything of her life and what's going on, but we will document the first few years, and the last few years all right then.

So we will start with Serafina's point of view first logging her first day underground.

Dear journal, I said, as I wrote in my journal this is day one of my logging event of underground. Nothing prevent will happen much after my boyfriend or fiancé or husband or whatever you wanna call him buried me underground not very spectacular really that the sensation of being buried underground frightened me at first, but I got used to it. I had our official lighting and everything I needed to survive underground I wasn't dead. I was still alive.
I fixed my first meal of being underground. It wasn't much but it was all I had today would've been the first full day of 2013 but there is no 2013 there is no year no nothing and this new world above or below.
The surface area above the surface was interchanging or ever-changing. I could feel the flatness of the world above me somewhat.
My animals can feel it too. I got up for the first time fixed myself a small breakfast of what little rations of food I had and fed the rations to my animals.
I did everything I could feeding myself and my animals. I had everything I needed underground. This is a new experience for me and the Lord was right. The world underneath in my little capsule was much bigger than it would been if they had just seen a mini capsule with myself inside.
After I ate, I finished making baby clothes for my baby who was coming. I don't know if I'll give birth this time. Or when I come out of this capsule, but I know that divine intervention will help with the childbirth and labor.
I was not aware of things above me. All the concern was here in my little home underground.
If a child doesn't come while I'm underground, that'll be fine too. It's probably best if they don't or even the puppies and kittens. Maybe I can pray for that not to happen for a while yet.
My routine was like this get up eat breakfast pray or pray eat breakfast get dressed and get ready clean the little cops home that I lived in and read the Bible each day.
And this is the first day of my routine my first full day underground so I did everything I could.
Then the day would end
Day two so much pretty much the same; nothing has changed.
Day three
Not much has changed.
As the days went on day four not
Day five is pretty much the same
D6 is not much either.
Time past
Several times several days years and months passed and I kept up with everything in my diary in my journal not very interesting. Interesting happened over the last several days months and years I caught up with what year it was or what it was supposed to have been for me if I was living on the surface world right now.
Also, I kept up with my birthday even though I will never age I will stay 18 for 2000 years.
For me, years will pass, but I won't age and above me, the world will not change and yet it will, and there is no time yet there are no years only counting in days.
But for me, I kept the calendar.
That way, I know when it will be time to come out or when someone finally digs me up.
So I'll hunker down and do nothing and that is what I did

The world above became a dissident wasteland for people the people who had shelters came out of them for years people lived in them, but they didn't know the passage of time no passage of time has passed for them they lost everything calendars everything that could keep them that the passage of time to know that years have passed.
But there weren't enough people to start over so the Lord above decided to make more new people to meet with these people to populate the world.
And just like Adam and Eve, they were made from the dust of the ground, but they were not like the people of the past they were different. They had different make-ups. They had different body types to adapt to the world with Laora. He gave them but they didn't know what it was.
The people were simple. The world was simple and for a while, counting in days worked for people it kept up with time for them, even though there was no time for them counting in days was a way to keep up with time and the passage of time and a new calendar was created that wasn't a calendar They knew the day by the way the sun rose and set or when the moon rose and set that's how they knew the passage of time at all.
That's how they knew time had passed by each new day. They would come and go as the passage of time and they learn to rebuild and rebuild cities and towns and villages. The people start over because they live simple lives.
They didn't know if they were re-created. They didn't know about the Lord who created them or the people before them. They have forgotten about the people before no time the people who died.
All kinds of weird creatures also decided to form on this planet, Mr. mythological creatures like griffins started to appear, but they couldn't fly evil creatures like basil also began to form. They were created by the Lord himself as mystical creatures and beasts to live amongst people. Wolf puffs were also re-created as new animals for the companions of the animal for the humans for the people of this land.
Dragons not yet, but a form of them also remained around.
The continent of North America was renamed Marcus Derma, which was a new continent that was formed and renamed what informed but renamed because North America was no more. They lost all knowledge of all of that from the past and other continents and countries exist. They have hidden far away in other parts of the world, especially other continents those people have forgotten the knowledge of the world in the world forgot everyone in the whole world, including I don't know about countries far away, but this area forgot how to do simple things to cook and clean and all things normal humans do it just didn't know how to keep up with the days and years and months and there were no birthdays. Every day was special was just a day the other day that you have lived.
People started to rebuild societies and small towns
Cities and villages started to pop up in places.
A new currency was created. They called it a coin. It was just a gold coin nugget that they found in the mine and said this would be our new currency and would call this coin. Everything was so simple Coins were used to build not build coins were used as currency to buy and sell things And if you didn't have coins to use goods, you traded things I guess, but most people had at least some coins to live on.
And for a while, everything was fine. Everyone had enough to eat. Everyone had enough money. Everyone had enough time and civilization was slowly coming back to normal.
Then one day several hundred years later.
Famine hit the New World the young world a world that has been around for over 100 years. I'm talking about the New World the new land the land they called. It was suffering and everywhere fell. People couldn't have enough of it. Families were poor.
It was unbearable for some and harsh for others people started dying out because the harsh conditions were not good for them.
The luck of our girl Serafina though is she won't be able to feel any of this from underground. She won't feel the harshness but anyway.
There wasn't enough food for people. Money was scarce Coins were scarce to some, and for some, they were so rich that they kept coins from some people.
And one family in particular had done the worst well and the best at the same time.
I'm talking about the Volder family, the Voran, family of Ezra and his family his mother, father, and him they were the only three in their family family of three.
His father was ill and always in his room. Very rarely was he ever out Ezra was always abused by his mother, beating him up and hurting him. The mother controlled all the coins in their household. She would have everything lavish while her son and husband were starved.
One day, Ezra stole this coin from his mother to buy some bread because he was hungry. His mother would beat him up telling him that this is my coin. You don't get any bread and if you were evil like your father or you'd become evil like him I love you but no one else does she would say.
Yes, mother you love me Ezra would say now give me my coin.
Should beat Ezra a lot because she knew how to fight from being on the streets before she was stronger and bigger and she'd beat up her young son all the time.
She would say when I was a young girl I beat up people twice bigger than me. She said you have to learn to fight for what you want Ezra you're too weak for this world.
Yes, mother, he would say but I just want to get some bread. I need some bread. I'm hungry he won't get any. She said.
You will just starve.
And you are my son, Ezra, you obey me she said yes, the mother he said again.
And with that, he didn't bother her again for a while.
And all this was going on during the full one almost full 1000 years of Serafina being underground.
Has been at least that long now and the human world would be 3000 now.
Or 4000 it was hard to tell.
Because
Of the ageless world above.
One day, Ezra's mother went shopping, and Ezra came with her he was forced to carry her shopping bags.
But he was sick and ill from not eating enough in one day or not one day when they returned home, she took the bags from him.
And left him outside.
He crawled all the way home, but the door was closed and locked, and he was locked outside. His mother told him he was not coming inside. He banged on the door to let to beg to let him in.
No, his mother said you're staying outside tonight.
And with that, he crawled away, counting his bloody hand marks, and found the griffin, and talked about how shameful it was that Griffin couldn't fly.
And when you lose count, he would start over again.
Then he saw it at Appletree, which he didn't know was an apple tree, but a tree of fruit. Well, he didn't see the tree, but he thought he made the tree which he probably did. He found a surge of power and said next us a Nexus Altimus, he says as a tree appeared with delicious red fruit.
He picked one of the delicious fruits and ate it and picked more and ate more. He was so hungry. It was so good too. He did look up. He didn't look up and see he did he looked up and saw when he made the tree he made a friend too.
But you haven't interacted with the boy yet.

I use the telescope to look up from the ground I had one inside my little lab underground with me. I had a full small lab inside here and I could use it to look around myself at the world above me. I didn't know often because nothing helped my interest after these last hundred thousand years being trapped underground for this long, it's been almost a full 1000 since I've been underground now so I decided to see what was going on to see if there's anything that piqued my interest above ground.
No one told me I couldn't and the Lord didn't say I shouldn't and couldn't look up and see what was going on above me and it's been at least a full 1000 years since I've blocked up above me.
I looked up and there I saw a little boy with beautiful copper-like hair and emerald eyes, which was a very unusual look. I don't know what he was doing conjuring a tree of some sort because a beautiful tree of apples appeared I don't think that's how it works but OK, and he picked one and ate it and slept there I wonder why you had to eat so quickly we'll see that hungry what happened to the land I wondered, but I'll never know until another thousand years from now but I deserve at least a few years at a time during this time.
The last thousand the last 900 and something years didn't pique my interest until now Well this was interesting to me.
But I couldn't get out not yet. I had another 1000 years left and I don't think he's interested in digging me out of the ground.
I also wondered what was going on in the other human world similar to this one they're just now reaching not even close to the time. We were when the media scare happened. That world was still young compared to this one young and vibrant. I'm guessing.
Anyway, I watched the boy with interest for a while to see what he was gonna do next, but he just fell asleep. Well, I'm not gonna watch anymore.
Later
next day
back with Ezra
Ezra left and went back home. His mother had a treat for him a darkened fried, not fried, but burnt critter of some kind that you dropped on the floor. Here's your dinner. She said you'll eat it and be grateful he ate it, but he wasn't full or he was full from the fruit that he had earlier fruit, and before this incident.
And then go to your room she said, and he did as he was told and went to bed in his room.
But every day he would leave to get fruit from that tree to eat which made him fuller than normal.
One day, his mother found out where he was going and she wasn't happy. This tree is evil. The fruit is red in blood. She said that makes you evil and rebellious to me. I love you Ezra and now you disobeyed me.
What happened to that obedient little boy of mine she said.
How dare you disobey me and eat this fruit? Do you wanna become like your father and evil and locked away in your room then come home with me right now and all this will be forgotten. I will erase your pain, Ezra.
As you took out a little box with black powder and did a ritual around the tree burning it down all Ezra could save was one piece of fruit, one fruit from getting burned to pieces.
All that was left of the tree was ashes after she was done she told Ezra to come, but Ezra refused.
Then the voice was heard, and Deafo a voice was called, and Ezra's mother froze in time. A boy made out of the magic of the tree, and out of Ezra's magic appeared in front of him a boy about his age, but with long black hair and big eyes looked at him.
The boiler wise, but young.
The boy wore strange clothing. They didn't look like something Ezra would wear. It was a hoodie, obviously, and jeans or whatever pants in his hand he had a pocket watch that he had seen created that he was using as he wasn't looking at Ezra at the moment.
It was the boy up in the tree who put a ribbon on the tree where Ezra slept the last time a ribbon was tied to one of the branches, but now the boy had the ribbon or scarf or whatever it was.
The boy knew strangely about strange things more human things because he explained to Ezra that he was human.
Ezra said that he wanted to explain that he was human too. He thought you're not human well you are but you're not if that makes sense. The boys said you are human like yes but you're an alien to me and I'm an alien to you. He says.
Ezra wondered if this boy was made of his magic just like the tree I can explain that to you later. The boys said even though I could say I was born and I have a birthday a birthday. He said I'll explain that later too he says.
The spell that I cast on your mother will not last long we must leave. We must leave now he says conjuring a numeral dragon somewhere here this will be your ride and pet. He says let us go now.
Then I'll explain my name and who I am to you, he says.
And I did they left the scene and went to a new place a new location.
You are magical he says you use magical power to bring me to life even though I was born, I was born from your magic too even though I was born from another world too then I'll make any sense. Ezra said well it will one day the boys said.
Just know that I was born, but also created through your magic. I'm a part of you. He says.
You're my father and my creator the boys said again You created me so that makes you my father as well.
You created me when you created that tree out of your Nexus ultimate spell I have Nexx which is a binding spell. We can have a lot of fun with both our magics.
Ezra asked him do you have a name? Yes, but you can try and guess Alencia he laughed. That's funny and feminine. I wish it was. My name is Alvin. I already have a name. He says Alvin, I like it Ezra said.
And this will be our new home making a house near them near the ocean or whatever this is where we're going to live now you don't have to live with your mother anymore and she will not find you here so you don't need to worry.
Because we are family now, Ezra, I'm your brother now and child at the same time your creation and you are my creator and we will bring this world to we will change the world, Ezra, you, and me.
We can unlock the magic potential of the world the aura inside we can change it, Ezra to your liking what do you say we can fight the hunger and the poverty of this place you can teach the magic and I can teach them the way of being human I'm your human side of you Ezra.
OK, Ezra said as he took Alvin's hand, I will do as you want or say you don't have to do that. He said, but you can be good. You're a good man, Ezra.
And what you want, peace and prosperity for the land, we will give it to them, and we will deliver them from their poverty, hunger, and everything The world will thrive. Alvin said OK Ezra said back Let us do this and change the world that's it. Let us do this.
And you'll be a fine candidate for king of your world or nation of this world he said, but first, we need to unlock everyone's magical potential.

Ending chapter here I hope you enjoy this awesome chapter and I threw a little bit of Seraphina stuff going on. I will be doing that throughout some of these chapters so that she's not completely forgotten, but Ezra will also be doing some things that were in the Oracle and things that I made up the details about how the world was established. Also, have Serafina do some catalog of her underground of what's going on she won't be able to know what's completely going on, but she'll be able to notice some of the changes around her.
