The next day, Angry Luigi looked for a gift for Emma for tomorrow.

"You don't have to attend. You can hang out with your friends." Skylia says.

Skara got a message from Raine, saying there was a Bard coven gathering tomorrow. It was mandatory, so she had to be there. She couldn't skip it just because it was Emma's birthday.

With Luke, the family was avoiding him more and more. Shane was too disgusted to stay in the house with him and went to spend a few days with Penny and Mona before cheer camp.

Luke lost his girls yesterday. And he was demoted to water boy and equipment manager on the cheer squad, the lowest position on the entire squad.

Mike and Josh got him his favorite chocolate in an effort to cheer him up. Luke sighed and thanked them.

"Are you still in ANH?" Lucy asked.

"Gemma and Dave are letting me stay until the end of this season. After the season 8 finals, my punishment will begin, Mom said." Luke says.

"When is the next show?" Lucy asked.

"The end of this month. Then the finals are slated to be on the week before school starts in August." Luke says. "Speaking of school, Shane is cheer captain this fall and Penny is his co-captain. It hurts to lose the one position I loved, but I deserve everything that's coming to me right now. I was a jerk to Garrett and I deserve to be punished for it. At least I'm still going to cheer camp next week."

Meanwhile, Mona smiled. This upcoming year, she was going to graduate from Diamond High.

"Poor Luke." 5-Volt says as Ashley sat outside, eating alone.

"That house is crazy." Ashley says.

Meanwhile, Kat and Ana were watching TV.

They noticed Garrett watching one of his basketball games from last season and sighing. That was a happy time for him.

"We're going on vacation to the flower kingdom this August." Ana says.

"Really? Cool!" Kat said.

Luke goes to Garrett. "I'm sorry." He says.

"Are you apologizing to me now because you lost everything you loved or are you really being sincere?" Garrett snarked.

"Sincere. I really am sorry. I really should have seen you were in pain and I should have just stopped. But I chose fame over your well-being and I should have just accepted the loss at the Space Opera Network instead of being mad over your victory and making you do all this." Luke says, head hung down. "If you don't forgive me, I won't blame you. I wouldn't forgive me, either. I'm at my lowest point right now."

Garrett thinks. "I can forgive you. But it won't be instantly. You hurt me and hurt me badly. You stole a lot from me, such as my actual birthday and my chance to play basketball in my high school senior year and beyond. There were going to be college scouts at the school's first game of the season and I was ready for that. But you ruined that for me. And I have to miss basketball camp next week because of you and your fame-hungry ass!" Garrett spat out, starting to sob. Forest led Garrett upstairs.

The next day, Angry Luigi had to go do something important. Skara was already off to her Bard Coven gathering and wouldn't be home until later tonight.

Emma sighed, knowing she should just get used to being alone. Her birthdays weren't always big family affairs. Skylia just gives her a party with whatever friends she has. And since Randy was sick right now, big parties in the Waterlash family were put on hold.

Luke was still being ignored at home because of Garrett's outburst yesterday.

Lucy reads Luke a poem to cheer him up, still offering her sweet 16 to him.

"No one will come to my birthday, so why bother?" Luke sniffed.

"Dang it, now I have to suffer." Lucy grumbled. The siblings looked at Luke, then looked away.

Angry Luigi got Emma toys for her birthday and a drawing.

"Is Randy okay?" Emma asked.

"He's well and alive." Skylia says. "But still on bedrest. Malaria isn't like the common cold, where you're sick for a few days, then back on your feet. It's a lot more serious than that."

"But Remy survived leukemia." Emma says.

"Malaria is different." Skylia says.

Luke sighs and just gets a head start on cheer camp packing. He had nothing better to do. He was lucky enough to still be on the squad and was lucky enough to still be attending camp next week. Lucy hugged him as she was the only sibling who wasn't mad at him.

Melony holds Garrett. She knew how much he was looking forward to basketball camp.

Meanwhile, Emma came downstairs.

"Happy birthday, Emma!" The Adventure Kids, Angry Luigi, Jason, Savannah, and Melody say. They were holding gifts and smiling at her.

Emma smiled. "Thank you!" Emma says.

And with that, Emma's birthday celebration began.

Emma opens her mom's gift, seeing a new dress.

"I love it!" Emma says.

At the Bard coven gathering, Skara noticed Raine was a bit off. The other Bard coven members had noticed this, too.

"Raine? Are you feeling okay?" Skara asked.

"I…I…" Raine says.

"You're the leader. You should tell us." Skara says.

"My birthday was the 1st! The 1st!" Raine screamed.

The other coven members gasped. They were so busy with Garrett that they overlooked their leader's birthday. The only question was, how old did Raine turn on their birthday? Probably 50. Which would be correct.

Emma was thinking of what to do next. She looked a bit bored. They didn't hire Luke, but who would show up instead? Shane.

Meanwhile, the Bard Coven was planning a party for Raine. Skara helps with it, as she was the most determined to make it up to Raine.
