Shane woke up on his half-birthday morning on July 16th. He looked around his room.
"Happy half-birthday, Shane!" Everyone says.
"A half-birthday breakfast in bed? Awww, thanks..." Shane says.
"You're welcome." Luna says as Shane begins to eat. The others leave the room.
As he was eating, Shane was checking his schedule. "Hmmm…training with Luke and my friends, a promotional photo shoot for the tennis charity "40-Love: Serving Up Positivity", guest judging Michigan Has Talent, TeenHeart Street filming with my role as Grayson Greene….oh, what a busy day I have!" Shane said as he then smiled.
He soon finishes his breakfast and dresses in his usual outfit, then grabs the other outfits needed for all his events today, his phone, his keys, and leaves.
He heads out for training as he looks for his friends. He had already suited up as Music Crusher. Some people wanted autographs from him. He signed them, then went to find the others.
He soon sees them. He crossed his arms when he saw them gathered around Oliver Queen.
"Um…" Shane says.
"Happy half-birthday, Shane." Atticus says.
"Thanks, Atticus." Shane says before glaring at his teammates except for Luke.
"This won't end well. I mean, we all know the drill." Patch says, looking at the 4th wall.
Shane and Luke trained together. He tries punching Luke, who dodges.
"If they don't remember, Shane, that's on them." Luke says as he tries kicking Shane.
"Oliver Queen stole my spotlight." Shane says.
"Guys, I gotta go. I got interviews for my company." Oliver Queen says.
Atticus sighed. He felt guilty for not helping Hawkman.
Oliver Queen heads off to his interview. Shane lowered his head, tears in his eyes. Luke pats Shane on the shoulder and accompanies him to his photoshoot.
Meanwhile, the Louds do their own thing as Luna and Lincoln go with Shelby and Shiloh to support Shane. Lucy watched them leave, but didn't follow.
They went to his photoshoot as Oliver Queen was still trending. Shane cried as his siblings hugged him.
"Sorry he forgot, son. You still have us." Lance says.
"Yeah, you do." Luna says.
"MY TEAMMATES ARE TRAITORS!" Shane screamed while the stylist did his hair. They all feel bad for him.
Meanwhile, Oliver Queen signed lots of autographs and Hal was on patrol. Garth and Barry felt bad for forgetting about Shane.
Barry was at work, serving customers. He sighed as he was feeling bad for forgetting about Shane. He got an idea and got to work.
As for Garth, he was doing work in the Atlantean castle with his parents.
"Something on your mind, son?" Caspian asked him.
"First, my family is basically a mystery. Most of them died and I had to fight them!" Garth sobbed, a broken mess. "Most of our people were killed in the kingdom war, thanks to Joe Parker. And as for Shane, I'm concerned. I want to make it up to him somehow…but how?"
Garth is soon lost in thought.
Meanwhile, Lucy was writing poems. "Sigh." She sighed.
With the rest of the family out supporting Shane, she was taking advantage of the peace and quiet. Either way, it didn't matter where they were.
Ever since she was told off for her overprotective behavior, the only person in the family even willing to talk to her was Leni. Everyone else barely acknowledged her now. Which she guessed she deserved.
"Sigh. I really need to accept the fact that Luke isn't a little boy anymore." Lucy sighed. "I need to let him grow up."
With Shane, he was fuming. He had finished his photoshoot and had done the guest judging gig. He was on the TeenHeart Street set, getting ready to be Grayson Greene.
"So, how are we doing today, Shane?" His personal on-set assistant, Jayden, asked.
"A bit sad. My friends forgot my half-birthday. My family remembered, but my friends didn't. And Luke remembered, too. It hurts that my friends and teammates forgot this day." Shane says.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Jayden says, putting an understanding hand on Shane's shoulder. "You never know. You might be in for a surprise."
"I'll believe that when I see it." Shane says.
"Let's get you on set, all right?" Jayden says. Shane nods and goes on set for the episode filming.
Diana was starstruck as she watched Shane play his role as Grayson Greene.
Meanwhile, the others were setting up. Barry ran in from work, carrying boxes of chocolates and gummies. Garth helped set up Shane's gifts, his being the only one not wrapped because of how fragile it is and because it's big.
Lana was carving a throne and Luan was helping Stephen and Savannah prepare the cake.
"So your friends aren't coming?" Stephen asked.
"Maybe Emma will show up, but everyone else had other plans." Savannah says.
Mugman sighed. Mona was at the hospital recovering, then she'd be on a Mushroom Kingdom tour. Mona did tell him she would be back before the semifinals on August 3rd.
"We've never won." Cuphead sighed.
"We're going to do great, Cuppy. If we don't go to the finals or win, we still have our music regardless." Mugman smiled and patted Cuphead's shoulder. That made Cuphead feel better.
With Oliver Queen, his parents took him out for a special lunch as he felt like a king.
Lola finds Oliver Queen and dragged him off the throne
"What's today?" Lola asked.
"My promotion day?" Oliver Queen asked as Lola slapped him.
"Wrong answer!" Lola says as guards drag her away.
"Sigh." Lucy says, seeing Lola get dragged off.
An imp named Shar smirked and used his powers, increasing Shane's wrath as he transformed and goes on a rampage
He finds Oliver Queen.
"Lis-" he says, but Music Destroyer shot a music note barrage that broke Oliver Queen's ribs hard as he was sent flying into a building.
"Ow…why me?" he asked before Atticus came
"Stop and give him a chance to speak." he says as Music Destroyer softened up a bit.
"I'm sorry." Oliver Queen says as Atticus carried him to get to Drell so Drell can heal him. The powers wore off as Shane groaned.
"Looks like you're not winning Best Friend Of The Year." Salem says as Oliver Queen growls at him.
"Stupid cat…" He says.
"Hey, we saved you." Sabrina says as Salem snickered.
"Salem, stop." Sabrina says.
"You're a witch." Oliver Queen says.
"I know. And don't go telling anyone." Sabrina says as Oliver Queen nodded.
He then thought of how he made Shane feel today. He shouldn't have thought of himself.
"Yeah, you guys have an issue. You're always betraying each other. But you really betrayed Shane." Drell says.
With Shane, his thoughts raced as he took a walk.
"No one loves me." He thought. "I knew it. Maybe my assistant was wrong. Maybe I'm not in for a surprise. Maybe breakfast in bed is the only thing I get today."
He soon arrived at the party as confetti fell on him.
"Surprise! Happy half-birthday, Shane!" Everyone said as Shane was stunned. His friends and family actually showed up.
"Y-You do care…." Shane says.
"Of course." Oliver Queen says, offering Shane his gift.
Shane opens it to reveal a set of instruments that he likes. "Thank you, Oliver!" Shane says before opening more presents.
The gifts ranged from costumes to books to toys, and he even got a refurbished childhood train set he loved. He then saw Garth's gift, which was a sculpture of him as Music Crusher made from pure Atlantean sea glass.
Shane was in awe. "Garth, I love this, thank you!" Shane said.
After the gifts, Shane sampled the food as his friends appeared next to him. They try some food as Barry ate 4 plates of it. Shane just chuckled at Barry's appetite. The others soon come to eat and they all smiled at Shane.
Later, Luna plays some music as Shane twirls Diana around. Diana kisses him as he blushes. Leni and Shelby giggled. Luke danced with Zee and Oliver Queen.
Lance smiled as he watched the scene before him. He was happy that Shane was happy.
Skara and Emma took the stage and did a performance for Shane. Shane cheered for them.
Meanwhile, Mona was in the hospital. Penny had come to visit her.
"Hey, Penny." Mona says.
"Hi, Mona." Penny says. "What happened to you?"
"Got injured thanks to Bone Mage." Mona says.
"Maybe put that tour of yours on hold for a while." Penny advised.
"We'll see." Mona says.
With the others, they were all taking turns beating the piñata that was shaped like a big musical note. Luke broke it open as the guests and Shane cheered.
It rained candy as everyone got their share. Leni eats some and so does Barry. . The kids were playing around and just being themselves. Shane was eating a 3 Musketeers bar and observing the scene before him.
At the hospital, Penny was still there with Mona as Ashley and 9-Volt came into Mona's hospital room. Ashley blushed seeing Mona and hid behind Penny.
"Hey, guys." Mona says.
"Hey, Mona, Feeling better?" Red asked.
"Yeah, now, that you're here" Mona says, a bit tired.
When everyone left, Ashley blushed watching Mona sleep and she really wanted to kiss her. She leaned in close, ready to kiss her, but she stopped. She couldn't do this. Mona had been there when her ex-parents weren't. Suddenly, she felt green and unfortunately, she couldn't hold it back, so she vomited on Mona, which caused Mona to shoot awake as Ashley collapsed.
"Ashley? Ashley?" Mona asks, concerned as she tries to call 5-Volt.
Meanwhile, Savannah and Stephen brought out the cake.
"Are you two merging businesses or something?" Barry asked Savannah and Stephen. They weren't sure as Stephen shrugged.
Everyone began to sing to Shane, who sang along while sitting on his throne. He wished for a promising future and a great career as a hero and performer before blowing out all 18 and a half candles on the cake, allowing the room to fill with cheering as Shane smiled widely. He cut himself a slice, then gave Garth the second slice.
Leni was holding her camera. "Say cheese!" She says as she took a picture of Shane.
Lisa was showing her new time travel watch to Beau, who looked in awe. Diana was feeding Shane a second piece of cake.
Meanwhile, 5-Volt arrived at the hospital and saw Ashley on a bed as Red was sobbing. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"What happened?" 5-Volt asked Red.
"She has leukemia again! And a few other illnesses!" Red sobbed.
5-Volt was worried. Ashley was just a little girl, and she's going through what Remy went through. She felt horrible for her.
After the party, the boys were having a fun guys' time at Queen Manor as all was forgiven from earlier today. Shane was no longer mad at his teammates.
