I knew once Ashe figured out where we were going it would be hard to contain her excitement. Josh and Sophie told me to watch her only on this trip, Janna would be fine with them. I did however want her to get to experience this with her parents too, the only downside was Janna hated my sister, and Carter. She was good with her parents and me but if those 2 held her she screamed bloody murder. I did however think that it wasn't going to matter to Ashe anyways she was going crazy as we checked into the hotel. We all had adjoining rooms; it was easier this way and I was sharing with the girls which was attached to Josh and Sophie. I figured if I was closer to them, I could stop anything bad from happening. I wanted to be on the ball, I needed to prove to myself that I could do this. I failed twice but I was not going to let that happen again, I needed to redeem myself. I know none of the threats were here with us, but I would not put it past that woman. She could always be following us, and we would never know it, I just needed to watch all women. I hated that I was being judgy, but I mean she could be anyone! That is the thing that bothered me the most she could literally be anyone and strike at any moment. A part of me wanted to believe she was not here and that we were going to have a nice peaceful vacation but knowing my luck the past few months it was going to be a disaster. Then main goal here is to make sure that Ashe has a good time, everything else does not matter this trip is about her.
After check in we were finally able to get the little lady out to the park we were lucky enough to get a hotel in the park so that made it easier. Also, a heck of a lot more expensive for Josh but he told us he didn't mind, one day he was going to run out of the NBA money and Sophies job was not big on money. I did know he was wanting to be a lawyer so I guess he in a way would be making some good money in the end, I just prayed nothing went wrong here. "Where to first little lady?" I asked, "I want to find Belle!" she said and that is what we did we went on a mission to find her favorite princess, everything in this park was overwhelming even the smells. We ended up stopping a bunch as she was seeing other princesses and such, her parents were close behind us with Janna in a stroller. I was making sure to take lots of pictures with her and watch all the people around us not wanting anything to go wrong. She was having a blast, and we went on a bunch of rides as well and we had yet to meet with Belle. She ate a bunch of junk food too; we did have a plan to eat dinner with Mickey and his pals so that would be interesting. This was only day one and I was already exhausted, but I was staying alert because she didn't show any signs of stopping. I did however believe that she would be sleeping good tonight and then tomorrow would be a new day. I could not help but see her disappointment. "What is wrong little lady?" I asked, "we didn't get to meet Belle" she said, "Ashe it is only day one we are here for a week, I am sure we will get to meet her" I said. "Are you sure?" she asked with tears streaming down her face, "I make it my promise little lady I will help you find Belle" I said, "Okay" she said changing her tune really quick as we headed to the restaurant. Ashe was in for a real treat, I pulled Carter and Addison aside, "We need to be careful here, as there are a lot of people in costumes" I said. "Jaxon no one followed us here" Addison said, "just watch the people in costumes, you never know, and we need to be on it" I said walking away from her. I mean my god my sister was so full of herself. She had no idea; I have been with this family longer than her and I had a feeling that that woman was here too.
Dinner was fun and Ashe didn't stop smiling the whole time, I could tell she was getting tired, but we had one last surprise for her before bed we were going to watch the fireworks. "Daddy what are we waiting for?" she asked sleepily, "the fireworks, unless you want to go to sleep?" he asked, "no I want to see fireworks" she said all of a sudden wide awake. This girl was like a firework and the energizer bunny all in one, they would be starting soon. A woman sat close to us and started talking to Ashe, "are you excited?" she asked, "yeah" Ashe said as I moved closer to her, something about this woman didn't sit right with me. She kept talking to Ashe and looking at Josh and trust me it was a look that worried me. "Maybe we should go" I said to Josh, the fireworks haven't started yet, "I am aware of that, but we have a watcher" I said and he looked over to the woman. He felt it too as she waved at him, and he picked Ashe up and she was too tired to say anything. Sophie following us not sure what was going on, at some point Addison and Carter caught up too. I felt like we lost her, and we were able to slip into the hotel we would watch the fireworks another day. I did get a good look at the woman too, but something told me that she would not look the same tomorrow. I sighed as I tucked the kids into bed something told me tomorrow was going to be an even tougher day. Addison and Carter now believing me that the woman did in fact follow us and she could literally be anyone the part that worried me the most was she knew how much Ashe loved Belle. Something told me she was going to end up dressing up like her soon too, and man if she did, we were in for a wild ride. I just wanted to believe we found the real one first, and I needed to talk to Carter. He was going to need to make sure Josh was not talking to anyone alone, and that he kept close to him. She was the biggest threat to him because it was him she wanted. I did worry Sophie was collateral damage, so we all had our work cut out for us, and I was not looking forward to this trip anymore. However, Ashe did not know about the threat, and I was determined to keep it that way the las thing I wanted was for her plans and fun to be ruined.
