Ashe
I am not sure how I felt about preschool; the teacher wasn't very nice. She kept getting mad at me for answering questions. I knew I was right too, but she wasn't very nice. Said I wasn't giving the other kids a chance, but they were all to slow and now answering. Plus, she didn't want Jaxon to stay either then he scooped me up and we were in the office. The principal was nice she asked me some questions and I answered them all, I was proud of myself, and she smiled at me told Jaxon something and we were gone. Was school over already? Felt like a really short day, but we were back home before lunch. I was eating and daddy was talking to Jaxon. Something but moving me up, what did that mean? Was I done with preschool after one day, daddy wanted to talk to mommy. I remember Uncle Oliver was sent to a private school could I go to the same one? I didn't want to go to a private school, I wanted to just be a regular kid. Showing how smart I was to people was not something I liked, I mean sure I may have over did it in preschool but none of the other kids even knew anything. I didn't know what was going to happen next, but I felt like I should get some sort of say in it. I waited for mommy to come home, and for her to talk to daddy. Jaxon was playing with me and Janna; she was trying to talk. She was not getting close, but she was pulling herself up now. Janna was going to be one soon. I mean it wasn't a big deal she couldn't even say boo; my first birthday wasn't that exciting. Then again neither was my fourth. The new lady didn't talk much, and I could tell Jaxon didn't trust her.
It seemed like Jaxon didn't trust anyone these days, mommy was home in one piece though, so she did her job. Jaxon said Addison was going to be okay and that made me happy. He was finally getting along with his sister, and she called him now on the phone. I was glad that they were able to patch things up, I am not sure I fully understand a lot of things. Mommy and daddy were arguing about me, mommy wanted me to stay in public school, but daddy wanted me to go to private school. I felt like I should be able to decide what I wanted. "Do I get a choice" I said and both of them looked at me, "she should get a choice" Jaxon said, "fine Ashe honey this private school is the same one your Uncle Oliver went too. I think you will learn a lot there" Daddy said, "or you could just stay in public school and move on to kindergarten" Mommy said. I looked at them both and as much as I loved my uncle Oliver I didn't want to go to private school. "I want to go to a regular school" I said, "there you see she wants to be a normal little girl" Mommy said. "I never said she didn't, and private school doesn't mean she won't be normal" "STOP STOP fighting!" I said, "oh Ashe honey we are not fighting we are just, we're not fighting. Ashe honey you can go to whatever school you want" daddy said. I looked at him and at mommy and said "I want to go to a regular school" I said and they nodded and filled out a piece of paper and handed it to Jaxon. "Take good care of her" Mommy said, "you know I will" Jaxon said and he scooped me up and tickled me, I knew it was time for a bath. Janna was of course going to scream like she was dying but she was still going to need to take the bath. I had one first I was not afraid of the water but as soon as Janna touched it she screamed and cried. "Why does she do that?" I asked Jaxon who was putting my jammies on. "I have no idea, she has a fear" he said, "well it is silly not like water will hurt her" I said, "sometimes it can, your grandpa Rocky had a fear of it too" Jaxon said. "I know but he is fine now" I said, "right Janna will get there too" he said. He read me story and tucked me into bed, mommy and daddy came to say goodnight too, "Mommy am I going to a regular school?" I asked, "yes baby girl the same school mommy went too when I was younger" she said. She kissed me goodnight, and I went to sleep having dreams about my school and making friends.
The next morning Jaxon let me pick out my clothes, and we were headed to school, Janna was with us this time because daddy had to go to school. I was nervous all the kids were going to be older than me. We walked inside the classroom, "Hello, I am Mrs. Rodgriguez" the teacher said, "I am Ashe" I said, "yes my new student, go find a seat honey" she said. She was a lot nicer than the other teacher. I sat next to a girl she seemed nice, "Hi I am Taliyah" she said, "Ashe", "that is a cool name" she said, "thanks" I said. "Well Ashe we are going to be good friends, but who's that" she asked looking over to Jaxon. "That is Jaxon, he is my protector, and my little sister Janna" I said, "protector?" she asked, "yeah um its complicated, but my mommy and daddy have bad people after them. Which means I do too" I said, "Cool so he is like your big brother?" she asked. "Yeah, something like that" I said and we needed to be quiet because class started. I like this class a lot better, and I already had made a friend. I just hoped nothing happened to her. I feel like people in my life tend to leave, Jaxon said after school we were going to go see my Uncle Oliver, and I was excited, maybe we would finally find out about this hex tech stuff. School was a lot of fun and Mrs. Rodriguez was really nice; Taliyah and I hung out and talked she even gave me a number to call her so we could hang out. Of course, I was only 4 so I would need mommy to call her but still I think I was going to like her a lot. Jaxon and I drove to grandpa and grandma's house, and they hugged both Janna and me. We played on the floor with Auntie Carlie, while Jaxon talked to Grandpa and Uncle Oliver, I listened, "So can you guys figure out what this does" he asked. "I can tell you right now whatever it can't be good, I have seen the red version of this before" Oliver said. "You have?" grandpa questioned, "yeah its fine dad, first off whoever you took this from is bad news" Oliver said, "yeah she is the woman after your brother-in law" Jaxon said, "hmm okay give me time to look, I will have my friend run it" Oliver said. "What friend?" grandpa asked, "the one I work for dad, I promise it is not illegal" Oliver said. I know he worked for a high-tech company that took things apart. I didn't know details though and everything was still super confusing. We stayed a little longer and then headed home, "Jaxon are they going to figure it out" I asked. "I hope so little lady but it is not something you need to worry about" he said. Of course that was not going to make me not worry, who knows what these people wanted. I just wanted my family to be safe, and I knew that the only way for that to happen was for these people to get taken down.
