Well I am officially out of the hospital, and I can't walk, I am currently in a wheelchair but I am going to make the best of it and find this bitch witch. I was now working in the labs of my dad's shop. I was going to help them figure out this hex tech stuff, "Tell me what you know Trevor" I said, "well we know the red hex tech is the bad one, we don't have much on it but it requires a rare DNA that we can't distinguish, some sort of animal. It also heals but in order to do that it someone must be sacrificed. Also Red is the stronger of the two. Blue heals and can change forms, meaning that whoever uses it can alter their DNA. Do it enough times it will become permanent" he said. "Damn and who thought of this stuff?" I asked, "not sure but Xavier is the one we are after, the witch we have no idea. All we know is she lost her hex tech and is wanting to get more of it, meaning she will need to go to Xavier soon" he said.
"Good put a tail on him" I said, "already on it he is currently in Toronto but we are watching him closely" he said. Good we had a lead, now if only we had a lead on this witch. I checked in with Jaxon and Ashe started kindergarten and even made a new friend. I was glad, he also told me to check in with Oliver Sophies' brother he was looking into the hex tech. I went over to his house the annoying part was I needed to get someone to drive me. I hated not having feeling in my legs, it was annoying. Anyways I made it to his house, and I also hated that it was getting colder, having a wheelchair in the winter was going to be a challenge. I made it up to the door, and Rocky answered it, "Hey we are so sorry this happened, but we are so happy you were there for our daughter" he said. "Me too, glad she is okay, I am here to talk to Oliver" I said, "yes he was just trying to figure out how to get a hold of PIGEON" he said. I went inside and Oliver sat down with, "okay so what I know so far is this contains DNA from all of our family and friends, its actually sickening if you ask me. The cool thing is it can heal, and it changes your DNA so you can shape shift" he said. "We know that part but how does it heal?" I asked. "Well here give it a shot" he said handing it to me, and it started to get warm, it was honestly a weird feeling, and I dropped it. "Standup" he said, "What?" "Standup" he said again, and I did, I could actually stand, I was healed. "Holy crap" I said, "yeah pretty cool little thing" he said, "How does the shapeshifting thing work?" I asked, "That is the thing I haven't figured out, I think it is incomplete" he said, "or you need to be a witch" I said and Oliver looked at me.
"Sorry its nothing thank you for this Oliver, and you would make a great asset to PIGEON" I said and I shook his hand and walked out of their yes that is right I walked. I headed over to my brother, I wanted to tell him the good news and tell him what I knew. I made it and knocked on the door Jaxon opened it. "Addison what the hell, I thought you were paralyzed" he said hugging me, "up until 20 minutes ago I was that blue hex tech heals. There is so much to tell you" I said as he sat with me on the porch. I told him everything I knew, and he wanted me to keep working with Trevor and getting Xavier and this witch. I assured him that I would not give up and he went back inside, and I left, I received a phone call, and I was working with them for months and nothing came up. Xavier was quiet and that worried me, months we had watched him in Toronto and nothing. Then I received a call that the detective's son had him arrested. We lost our lead on the witch and Xavier was going to jail for smuggling Pangolins, I had no idea they were even a thing until today. Now we were back at square one and had nothing. "Hey Addison" Trevor called me into his office. "Yeah" I said, "I found the missing DNA component" he said, "what?" I asked, "those pangolins, turns out their scales are what are needed to make the Red hex tech. Now he must have been wanting a lot of it because he was smuggling the poor things" he said. "Ugh well than I am glad Max was able to do something I am just annoyed it ruined our search on the witch" I said, "For now I have a feeling she is not done yet, she is working on something big, and we will catch her" Trevor said. I wanted to believe him because this poor family had enough problems and didn't need anymore.
Ashe was doing well in school and making friends she was happy, and she deserved to be. Janna was going to be one in a few days and I was going to her party. I think it was going to be super cute, and then before we know it Christmas is around the corner, something tells me that this witch is going to ruin Christmas for their family. I was going to have Jaxon keep a close eye on them and make sure those little girls didn't suffer during the holidays. I was doing everything I could to track this witch down but it seemed that ever since she shot me she vanished. She must be planning something big because her silence is almost more worrisome than her presence. I will not give up and Jaxon was right I am more suited for the search part my psychology skills are coming in handy as I study the patterns of this woman, she wants Josh that we know for sure. She is willing to go out of her way to get him, by posing as his wife. Now that she doesn't have hex tech she can't shift. Something tells me she did it enough times and it is now permanent. Meaning she could be anyone at anytime and that is the terrifying part she could be watching them right now, she could be Jaxon or Carter. Somehow I doubted that because Jaxon was too smart for it and he would know. One thing for sure Janna's party was going to be swimming with PIGEON staff and we were going to make sure no one comes in unless they are scanned first. I had Trevor create a device that can find hex tech, it was making it easier for us to find out where it was coming from and how to get our hands on it. He told me it could also sense when someone has been around it and have traces of it on them, so I was going to make sure Jaxon had this with him.
