Man, who knew I would get put in my place by a 3-year-old, but she is right I do need to make up with my sister. I can't continue to fight with her while we are trying to do a job. I am going to need to be the bigger person here and just suck it up, I will need to make up with her or just take all the torment. I mean she can't be that bad when others are around can she? Ashe and I ended up having a pretty decent day, she was a lot of fun to be around. She kept telling me I was her best friend, and the sad thing is she was mine. I was able to get dinner started, who knew I would end up being such a good cook, I never knew I had it in me. I had the best little helper though and she made it fun, "uh oh" she said as the water boiled over and I laughed, "it's okay put the noodles in" I said and she poured the spaghetti into the pot and I stirred it. Janna woke up and Ashe went to entertain her for a few minutes so that I could finish the noodles. Just as I was about to give Janna her bottle Josh came home with Carter, "hi daddy!" Ashe said, "hello, how was your day?" he asked. "Awesome!" Ashe said, as I finished the pasta and Josh fed Janna, having and extra set of hands was a lot easier. I know I said that I would take care of both girls but sometimes it wasn't that easy. I of course was still going to do it but it would be nice to have an extra set of hand sometimes. Anyways the evening went by quickly and there were no complications everyone came home in one piece. I was trying to figure out what I was going to do with the girls tomorrow. I know Ashe wanted to go to the fair but was that really smart by myself. I talked it over with her dad, "Ashe wants to go to the fair tomorrow" "I said, "yeah she loves it, it's a lot with her though" he said. "I know but I like to make her happy" I said, "Of course, I would come help but I started taking classes now and I am busy" he said. "I can handle it I am sure" I said, "I hope so if you change your mind though I am sure Ashe will understand" he said. "She listens now she doesn't want to get taken again, I feel like it will be fine. I am more worried about Janna not having any fun" I said. "Well, she is happy as long as she is in the stroller or carrier, she will be fine" he said. I agreed that was true and I could bring both and just make sure that Ashe was having a good time.
I did get a chance to talk to Addison too, and she agreed to take the teasing down a few notches, she agreed that I was not the same person I once was. I know that she is still dad's favorite but at least her and I are still on the same page. The next morning everyone left early, and Ashe and I were eating breakfast, "are we going to the fair Jaxon!" she asked me with so much excitement I felt like it would be hard to say no. "We will go but Ashe you need to listen okay, I have Janna, and I just feel like there will be a lot of people around" I said, "I know, and I will" she said as she finished shoving the food into her mouth. "Ashe we will go in a little bit it is still early" I said, "okay" she said as she went to play with her toys. I fed Janna and changed her; it was still early spring, so it was not that warm out yet and I made sure she was in warm clothes. It was finally 11 am and I decided to take them I would buy Ashe lunch there. I am sure she would want to eat some sort of fair food, I mean who wouldn't want to eat greasy fair food. We ended up seeing a few people around Adventure Bay. Ashe was listening that was making it easier for me and Janna was asleep in the carrier, so I had no issues with her. Ashe was riding on some rides, and I was watching her closely, it was getting late, and I knew she was tired. "Ashe you ready to go?" I asked, "yeah thanks Jaxon, can we do it again tomorrow?" she asked yawning. "We will see" I said as we walked back to the car, just as I was getting her inside, I felt someone hit me from behind. I am not sure what happened after that. I woke up and was on a bed in someone's house, I didn't recognize my surroundings. Ashe was asleep beside me that was a good sign, and Janna she was missing, I could hear her crying though. I picked up Ashe and ran out of the room, I saw Sophie, but then I remembered that this might not be her. "Let her go" I said, "Jaxon this is my child I will not let her go she is crying" she said. "I know you are not her mother now let her go!" I said as I walked closer to her, Ashe now waking up, "mommy?" Ashe said, "that is not your mommy" I said to her, and she started to cry, "it's okay my babies, I will get this man away from you" she said. I think her mistake was bringing me in the first place. No way was I going to let her harm these girls, I did manage to get Janna away from her, but I realized she took my phone and my gun, so I had nothing.
"Why not show me who you really are?" I asked, "I am Sophie damn it" she said, "right then where are we?" I asked, "this is my rental house" she said. "Just tell me who you are. We both know you are not Sophie, and you will never get far pretending to be her" I said. "Why did I bring you! I mean I would have had more like getting Josh without you" she said. "You will never get my daddy!" Ashe shouted at her, "that is what you think little one" she said, I needed a plan, and I needed to know who she really was there had to be something I could do. "Ashe, I need you to stay close" I said as I put her down and ran over to this woman. She dodged me, "not going to happen I will end you once and for all" she said pulling out my gun, I shoved Janna and Ashe behind me, "now you are scaring the girls" I said, "they will be fine once I get rid of you and bring their dad here" she said. She was crazier than I thought, did she really think I was going to let her shoot me, she tried but I managed to dodge the first one. Ashe screamed and I grabbed her and Janna and rolled behind the couch. I knew I was not going to be able to get out of the house here not that easily. With her having my gun it made it harder; I also had no idea what the time was. Someone had to know we were missing, right? I mean my sister or Josh anyone at this point it was getting dark, "stop this and let us go" I said. "NEVER! this is my family, and you are ruining it" she said, coming at me. I was stronger than her and I managed to take her down but before I could do anything she teleported. Like she vanished right before my eyes, damn it! I said I grabbed the girls, and I ran for the door, I saw a letter addressed to the owner of this house and I grabbed it. We made it to the door, but she reappeared. "That doesn't belong to you" she said, trying to get at me again, but she underestimated me, and I dodged her again. I was not expecting the big guy though her accomplice and he stuck a needle into my arm and I was out.
