Sam shook her head, "How long are we going to be here?"
"A day at most I want to go to Asgard and see if I can get a sample of one of them and possibly the Bifrost," Alex said with a shrug and grin, "I did offer Dinah options and the Asgardian here are some of the most powerful beings that don't need worshipping people bowing to them to feed them power."
Sam smiled at that, "That's going to be a fun explanation for Dinah, and just think about what the others will say about if she takes the offer of a child from Asgard."
"It will be just as strong as the Amazon but without all the blessings from the gods," Alex stated with a grin.
"Well let's go see the Asgard, but what's going to be your excuse this time so I don't have to play catch-up," Sam asked arms crossed.
Alex winced as he thought about how he just said the first thing that came to mind each time someone asked.
"Yeah but it's fun watching people try to figure out if I'm just pulling their chains or telling the truth, but this time I am just going to see where it goes, most likely it'll be fine unless Thor is there, or not and when we are in the timeline," Alex said with a shrug, "I'll probably play the part of visiting royalty."
Sam gave him an exasperated look, "Why visiting royalty?"
"Well, I am sort of claiming to be the grandchild of the Creator and Eternity's and they've accepted me so I am not lying when I say I am conceptually above even Odin,"
Sam hung her head with a sigh, "Fine but if you're going to go with that we'd best have our suits change into something similar to what Karen's Amazon armor looks like," she said after a few seconds.
Alex grinned then looked at Karen and Kira, "Okay you two can come along just follow Sam's lead,"
"Yay, I'm going to get to see more stuff, do you think I can get a pony there?" Karen asked happily.
Sam and Kira exchanged glances and grins as Alex fought to ignore the puppy eyes, "We'll see about that later sweetie," he told her as he turned to the door.
Laying his hand on the frame he focused on the Bifrost where Heimdall stood guard, looking through the window he saw that the Bifrost was whole and functional, it was open and warriors were coming through all dressed in armor in various degrees of battle damage.
Alex dropped his hand and watched as the warriors then looked back to Sam and the others.
"Umm I'm not sure when we are, I think we are just before the events of the first Thor movie because I saw Loki in there."
Sam joined him at the window to watch the progress of the warriors, Karen on her hip, Kira stepped to his other side.
"Umm isn't Loki supposed to be a guy?" Kira asked after she saw who she assumed was Loki turned to watch the last of the warriors coming through the Bifrost Thor and his closest friends came through and then Heimdall shut down the bridge.
Alex nodded then looked over the crowd and spotted the woman in the movie version of Loki's battle armor, "Yeah that's Loki's battle armor and Loki is supposed to be a man but remember that the multiverse is so varied that anything is possible."
"Also remember that there was no continuity in the timeline that the movies followed, so don't take movie knowledge as to how you expect things to happen," Sam pointed out as she also noticed that Sif was male.
They stood there watching the warriors leaving the Bifrost and heading to the largest building that Alex assumed to be the castle.
"Let's have lunch and give them time to settle down, if I remember correctly they'll be throwing a feast for their victorious return, " he said turning away from the window and heading to the dining room to find Misty had put out an of fixings for fajitas.
As they followed him none noticed that Heimdall was looking directly at where the window was nor did they see him glancing to the castle and nodding as if receiving orders.
After eating the meal and letting it settle for a few minutes they returned to the door Alex and Sam had their suits copy Karen's armor and Kira's changed to her Powergirl outfit.
"Alright remember they are a warrior people and Thor is a bit of an arrogant ass and a show-off, " Alex told them as he reached for the door handle.
The other two nodded while Karen just watched them from Sam's arms, "Okay Kira stay close to us, if we are going with the higher plane royalty and you being with us will put a spotlight on you for people who would want to try and grab at power." Sam said while looking at her.
Kira nodded, "Umm should I change my uniform to match yours?"
Alex and Sam looked at Kira's outfit, it was the leotard with a cape that she had been wearing when Alex had first met her, "Yeah that's probably a good idea, you're showing a bit more skin than most of these people are used to seeing outside the bedroom," Alex said while looking her up and down.
Kira blushed at his words, the blush went all the way down her neck as she felt his eyes on her, and in the back of her mind, the words Sam spoke about joining them played over and over.
Forcing those thoughts away she told her suit to match Sam's, when they nodded she gave a small shy smile.
"You could go with the old color scheme if you want or even add the symbol of the house of El," Sam pointed out as she noticed that she had matched the color scheme of red, blue, and gold that Karen had used while Alex had chosen his color scheme to be black with gold trimming.
Kira nodded then focused on an image of her suit, in her mind the leotard reappeared and her legs were covered in blue leggings and a shoulder cape draped to the middle of her back in yellow with the symbol of El in red.
"Nice," Sam said while looking her over as she twirled showing off the changes she made.
"Oh pretty," Karen said as Alex nodded.
"Okay let's get going," he said opening the door to come face to face with Heimdall who stood in a relaxed and welcoming stance.
"Welcome to Asgard, Lord Odin awaits you for you in the throne room," Heimdall said in a deep but oddly soothing voice.
Alex nodded and then looked into his golden eyes, "I'm surprised that you were able to see the door."
"Only an outline, you are not the first to travel here by the way you used to reach this realm," Heimdall said with a bow and gesturing to the castle at the end of the bridge.
Alex nodded, " Thank you for allowing us to pass," he said as he turned to follow the bridge, "Ahh before I forget, keep an eye on Xandar one of the stones is being kept in a security vault someone is trying to gather them."
"Very well I shall inform lord Odin and watch over the stone," Heimdall said with a nod before turning back to watch the realms in his eternal vigil.
Alex and the three floated from the ground by a few inches and guided along the rainbow Bridge toward the castle.
"Did you get a scan of the device and bridge?" he asked Sam along the way.
"Yes and it's amazing how it works to focus vacuum energy to fold space to send people and things to faraway places it can cover the galactic cluster possibly more," Sam said with excitement in her voice and eyes as she mentally reviewed the Bifrost.
Alex nodded as she spoke, "I didn't scan it, I was thinking you would want it for yourself, we'll have to see if one can be used in the Stargate universe."
"Umm, what is so special about going there?" Kira asked as she was looking around the place as they moved.
"It's a universe where I was cloned from and you've seen some of the shows, I want to go there and see if we can help them with technology and possibly have it as a second home," Sam said after finishing her review.
As they moved they could hear people whispering and saw some pointing as they neared the palace, landing at the bottom step they looked up at the castle, its golden terraces, and connecting paths.
"Wow, they went all out on going overboard with this place didn't they?" Kira asked after taking in all she could from where they stood.
"Yeah, but they built this place when they were still waring with most of the realms fifty or so thousand years ago," Alex said as he started up the stairs.
They made it slowly up the stairs, when they neared the doors they swung inward to reveal a long hall filled with tables and cheering men and women drinking and eating, it looked like the stories of the feast of Valhalla.
The cheering and music stopped when the doors opened and banged against the walls, all eyes turned to the four as they took the three steps and walked down the aisle towards the throne and high table where Odin sat with his wife on his right and Loki to her right and Thor on Odins left.
When they reached the raised dias and the table they stopped and looked over the four, Alex gave a respectful nod followed by Sam and Kira.
"Greetings Odin and thank you for allowing us to pass through your home," Alex said after receiving a return nod from Odin, a look of curiosity from Friga and Loki, and a scowl from Thor.
"Welcome to my home, might I ask the purpose of this visit?" the All-Father asked.
Alex nodded, "Just passing through really, we made a stop in Xandar, Heimdall is aware of something I just informed him of that should not be spoken of in the open even in the heart of your home."
From the corner of his eye, he could see Thor was not happy with his casual way of speaking with his father, "Show my father some respect mortal," Thor boomed out gripping the handle of Mjolnir.
Alex ignored him and gestured to himself and the others making the introduction, " I am Alex and this is my wife Samantha Carter, our daughter Karen Carter, and finally our traveling companion Kira of the house of El," he named each with an open hand to each.
"I shall speak with Heimdall on this matter and thank you for bringing it to his attention and mine," Odin spoke also ignoring Thor.
Thor lost his temper and stood pointing the head of Mjolnir at Alex, "You are in the presence of royalty know your place," he bellowed then drew back to throw Mjolnir at Alex and his company before anyone could react.
Alex watched as the hammer flew at him, slowly or slowly for him and the three with him he reached out and plucked it out of the air not moving an inch.
The hall first filled with cheering at the possibility of seeing someone struck by the legendary weapon only for it to be replaced by gasping when he caught it as if it were nothing more than a feather.
"You break guest rights against your father's guests boy," Alex said in a cold voice that chilled the spines of all, he then looked at the hammer in his hand "Such a primitive weapon for a brainless thug to wield, no skill or thought needed to hit with or throw keeping you out of harm's way, oh what's this it even lets you throw out little sparkles," each word he spoke echoed through the hall.
"You know nothing of our ways and magics mortal, return my hammer, " Thor bellowed holding his hand out and trying to call Mjolnir back to him but it stayed fast in Alex's hand.
Odin jumped to his feet rage at his son's arrogance in his eye, "You foolish child, be silent, your actions are a blemish on this house," he bellowed flexing his power and sending Thor to the floor under the pressure.
None in the hall had seen Odin in this state, the closest to the high table cowered back in fear as his power washed over the hall.
"You are as blind as you are foolish, these guests are of the lineage of Eternity and Creation, to his lineage we are the peasants, and he the king, they show us great respect by not demanding our places at this table which they are in the right to make but instead they stand below us," Odin spoke as his power crushed Thor into the floor.
Alex let go of the hammer and waved it to float to the table to come to rest in front of Odin's place, in his mind, he was laughing as they didn't even have to announce their chosen background, the hammer clunking on the wood of the table drew Odin's attention.
"I'm sure he has learned his lesson Lord Odin plus you are scaring your wife and other child," Alex said pointing to Friga and Loki who were hugging each other in fear at Odin's rage.
Looking at Friga and Loki, Odin drew a calming breath, "My apologies my dears, and all in the hall please continue with the feast I must retire to calm myself further," he said in a weary voice as he stepped away from the table taking Mjolnir with him.
Friga sprang up to follow her husband, leaving Loki to the guest, a few guards came to collect the unconscious Thor to take him away either for healing or to put him to bed.
Sam and Kira watched this all in silence both wondering how Odin was able to do something like that and still be standing after expending so much energy.
Karen was ignoring it all in favor of looking at Loki who was shaking in her seat," Mommy the pretty lady looks like she is going to fall out of her chair, " Karen said pointing to Loki who indeed looked ready to faint.
Sam passed Karen to Alex then walked around the table to check on Loki, "I think a strong drink will help," she said after seeing her shaking hands that gripped the table her nails digging into the wood.
It took several long minutes before the crowd got back into the feast, everyone other than Loki gave Alex and his group a wide birth as they ate and drank seeming to have forgotten the outburst from Odin.
Loki sat in her seat eyes vacant, she was looking back on her thousand years of life, and never in that time had she felt her father's anger as much as she had this night even after some of her pranks on the residents of the castle.
Stiffly she turned her head to face the group of visitors mainly Samantha Carter who had tried to calm her with a strong drink.
"Lineage of Eternity and Creation?" she asked voice still shaking.
"My husband is the first claimed grandchild of the Creator of all and the being known as Eternity, he was joking around with a madman who had somehow obtained a book of power belonging to Eternity when Alex took the book away from the madman Eternity appeared to take the book away and he jokingly called her grandmother and she accepted him as her grandson and in all the time I've known him he has called the Creator Gramps and he has claimed Alex as well," Sam told her as she watched the people slowly regain their previous cheer.
Before Loki could ask more a guard approached and spoke lowly, "Highness your father requests you bring the guests to the royal sitting room for a private meeting."
Sam had heard the guard speaking so went to gather Alex and the others, "Odin wants to meet with us, Loki will take us there." Sam told Alex and Kira before leading them to Loki who was just standing from her seat still a little shaky.
Sam stepped to her side and took her arm to steady her then let her lead them to the sitting room which took several long minutes to reach, when they reached a pair of doors with guards who opened them at their approach.
The inside of the room was comfortable looking almost homey lacking all the posh and glamor most picture a room royalty would use.
There were a few couches and chairs, and on one of the couches sat Odin and Friga both looked tired and drawn, "Thank you for coming, I feared my son's rudeness had caused you to leave to never allow us to offer our apologies once again," he said gesturing between himself and Friga.
Sam led Loki to a chair and helped her sit, Friga was at her side almost instantly, "Loki are you unwell?"
"I am well Mother just shaken from earlier, I think I shall be better in time," Loki answered patting Friga's hand that Friga had rested on Loki's arm.
"It's fine, I was well aware that your son was a bit of a hot-head he needs a lesson on humility and or subtlety, I had hoped that he would have kept his mouth shut and let us finish our introductions, but as I said in the hall we have only come to inform you of something important, Heimdall is aware and keeping a portion of his awareness on it," Alex said while putting Karen down.
Odin gestured to the other couches and chairs for them to take a seat, Kira sat in a chair next to the couch Alex sat upon, and Karen for reasons of her own climbed into Loki's lap and snuggled in close.
Sam joined Alex and waited to see where things would go, " Thank you for understanding about my son I fear that his being the crown prince in these times of peace has caused his arrogance thinking his brawls with thugs are true battles, most of his generation do not know the horrors of true war, I'm beginning to feel that I must pass the crown to Loki as she has the mind of a ruler, " Odin said startling Loki saying that he was thinking of making her Queen.
Alex nodded, "I'm sure you're aware that we travel the multiverse?"
Odin nodded, "While you are the first of your lineage to come here you are not the first traveler to come to our universe."
Alex grinned at this, "Yes well I am aware of a possible turning point for your son, he nearly starts a war with Jotenheim after some use of a hidden path to enter Asgard to take the chest of winter and Thor drags his friends and Loki along, you show up and intervene Lotfi lets you take the group away but warns you that one more attack and he'll unleash the ice giants one the nine realms, " Alex told them keeping an eye on Loki who flinched at the mention of Jotenheim.
"You're feeling cold," Karen said as Loki's stress seemed to cause her Jotenheim blood to come to the surface.
"Oh yes, that came up as well, Loki being cursed as a baby just as the last war was concluding, "Alex stated noting Odin and Friga stiffening up when Karen said Loki was getting cold.
"Cursed?" Loki asked panic in her voice.
"Yeah one of the last Joten spell casters snuck into your nursery and spelled Joten blood into you, but he was killed trying to escape so none know how to reverse the curse," Alex answered again noting the changes in Odin and Friga as both relaxed.
"Why am I only now hearing of this?"
"A secret known is a secret spread and we didn't want it spreading, we were so used to keeping it secret it never occurred to us to tell you, " Friga said taking up the lie Alex threw out for them.
Alex smiled as she did this and watched as the ice-like skin and red eyes faded from Loki's features she calmed down at hearing it wasn't from malice but a habit.
"We've searched for many years to remove the curse but without the caster's knowledge we have concluded that it wouldn't be possible," Odin said next.
"I may be able to help with that," Alex said while looking at the three.
"How so?" Friga asked hope welling up in her eyes.
"It's within my power to make changes to a person," Alex said then pointed to Kira, "she was experimented on when we met, she would have died within a year if she had not met with me and I used my power to fix the damage done," he told them while Kira looked down remembering how she had found that she was a flawed clone.
"And you are sure that you can remove the curse?" Odin asked his eye showing hope.
Alex nodded, "Yeah that's simple I'll need to touch her as you and Friga both touch my shoulders, this will allow me to ensure that my power removes the cursed blood, be warned that this will possibly cause changes to your body as the blood is removed as it has most surely caused some as well," he said turning to Loki making sure she was prepared for any changes that will happen.
It didn't take Loki long to hold out a hand to him as she looked to her parents who stood up and stepped behind Alex and lay a hand on his shoulders, Alex smiled as he copied their pattern as well as Loki's Joten blood, once he was sure he had it he focused on Loki's DNA and slowly changed it from that of her birth parents to that of Odin's and Friga's making them her true parents.
As he worked the others in the room watched as her features did indeed change, her eyes changed to match Odin's as her nose and cheeks took on the shape of Friga and her hair lightened to be brown to match Odin from his youth.
Alex let his hand drop and flopped back to make it appear that his actions had taken their toll on him as Odin and Friga rushed around to Loki.
"Yeah that's a nasty one, I'm guessing that over the next hundred or so years you would have slowly come to look like a Joten and I'm guessing it was to be a way to cause infighting here in Asgard, I did leave you the ability to work ice magic, I recommend you eating one of Iduns apples to reaffirm your connection with Asgard," Alex told them as Odin left Loki's side.
"Yes, we shall see to it on the marrow, now we must speak of your reward for riding my daughter of the curse," Odin said retaking his seat.
Alex nodded knowing that even though he had already gotten something from his actions they didn't know, "An inget of Uru unspoiled by the magics of the Asgard or dwarves," he said making it seem like he had to think about it.
"You ask so little for such a gift?" Odin asked feeling they owed him more.
"To me, that is not a small request, I can create items I have a sample of," saying that he held up a hand and slowly created a mechanical eye copied from a hospital in the empty world that specializes in prosthetic replacements and held it out to Odin.
Odin took the eye and inspected it then gave it back to him, "Impressive."
"Yes and with a sample of Uru, I will be able to improve this to work on magic so to me that one inget is worth more than most would assume," Alex said while placing the eye in his hammerspace.
Nodding Odin stood again stepped to a wall and touched it while mumbling a few words before withdrawing hi hand to reveal a small orb inserted in the wall.
"Eitri I need an inget of Uru unspoiled by any magics," he spoke into the orb.
"It shall be on the Bifrost platform in a moment, please send over a shipment of hides for the armor and grips of weapons," came the reply after a few seconds.
"Very well, Heimdall will open the bridge as soon as the shipment is ready to be delivered, I must go now I have a guest waiting for my attention, " Odin said before closing the wall.
Walking to the door he opened it to send a guard to see to the delivery and retrieve the Uru before returning to his seat.
"It should not be long before the Uru is brought to you, that eye how would you think one would affect one of my people?"
"As is I'm not sure it was made to work for a Midgardian, I can make a few with Uru components and give you to study and test and study," Alex promised.
They fell into speaking about many things Alex explained his origins and that he was still growing in power and skill.
Karen had fallen asleep in Loki's lap as Sam spoke with Friga and Loki about their magical knowledge and demonstrated a few healing techniques that Friga was able to copy after a few attempts.
The door opened, and everyone looked up expecting the guard with the Uru but it was Thor who entered the room, upon seeing Alex and his group sitting with his parents and sister he bellowed.
"You foul mortal I know not what..." he was cut off by a sleepy Karen floating from Loki's lap and struck him in the gut sending him flying out of the room through a wall outside the door.
Odin, Friga, and Loki looked at the little girl as she floated back to Loki's lap and snuggled back into a comfortable position.
" You may want to send someone to check on him," Alex said after a moment's silence, " She has the strength to lift this entire castle with one hand."
A guard looked into the room, "Troubles my lord?" he asked looking ready to fight should it be necessary.
"No, just Thor waking a child with his billowing, have him taken to the healing chambers," Odin waved the guard away.
"I fear that I must pass judgment on him and banish him to Midgard to learn humility, " Odin said warily.
"To do that you will have to allow the Jotens to enter the vault and then Thor and the others to attack Jotenheim, " Alex stated.
"Yes so you've said before, do you know when they will attempt this?"
" No, only that it was during the coronation of Thor and a Skrull posing as Loki who had been taken during the fight on Jotenheim forced your counterpart into an early Odin sleep and tried to usurp the throne and nearly succeeded only for Thor to learn to be humble, I'm not sure how you can pull it off though, " Alex said while thinking that he may have thrown off cannon by making this Loki an Asgardian.
Sam leaned over to whisper in Alex's ear, "You could clone her." but Alex shook his head.
"No, it wouldn't work and I don't want to create a life that will be tortured and forced to attack Earth in a few years," he whispered back.
"Ah a coming-of-age trial, strip him of his hammer and seal his abilities to that of a Midgardian, and send him there to learn the lesson and leave Mjolnir where he can find it but make him unable to lift it until he has learned humility and compassion," Kira said as she was thinking of her memories that came from Kara and how some Kryptonian people would journey when they were almost adults.
"That could be possible before the founding of Asgard our people held such a tradition," Odin spoke as he remembered that his father told of his coming-of-age.
Alex remembered a historical article about the Vikings doing something similar with their young adults by leaving them in the wilderness without anything other than their clothing.
"We shall think on this at a later time," Odin decided just as a guard approached with a small box and held it out to him but Odin indicated to give it to Alex.
Alex took the box and opened it to find a bar of golden metal with swirls of gray and a few other colors spotted here and there, picking it up he saw that the swirls and colors were all over the bar.
It was as he looked at the bar from an odd angle
that he noticed that it almost looked like a nebula had been captured and shaped into a bar.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Odin asked as he watched Alex inspect the bar.
"Yeah it, I expected it to be similar to gold in color but like this, it looks as if the dwarves captured a nebula and forged it into this bar," Alex said while copying the bar and then passing it over to Sam who was looking ready to grab the bar from his hands.
Odin gestured to the bar with a smile, "The metal is formed in the heart of a star in its death, Eitri, and his people believe that the star's life is copied into the metal, and when it explodes the metal will cause a new star to be born from the fragments."
"This is a wonderful material, with the right equipment you can forge anything with this and it can even be used in circuitry for ships and other things," Sam said while also copying the information from the bar.
Odin nodded and smiled as she spoke, "True however to gather even enough to make that bar takes up to one hundred years and then a year of smelting."
Sam nearly dropped the bar at hearing that, "Are you sure you can give us this? It sounds like this would be too valuable to just hand over like this."
"It is of no bother, we of Asgard have long lives and we enjoy the hunt not only for the beast but treasure as well, that bar comes from my stores in Nidivlear, over my long life I have gathered enough that should I wish it I could request the dwarves to forge it into a home thrice the size of this room," Odin told them then gestured to the room that was at least fifty feet wide and thirty long.
Sam passed the bar back to Alex her hands shaking a little, he put the bar back into the box then his hammerspace then held his hand over the table, after a few seconds the clatter of something falling could be heard several times, and Alex withdrew his hand six false eyes were laying there.
"I've replaced the common metals with Uru components, it uses nanites to connect to the nerve ends, it doesn't matter if the wound is fresh or old, the nanites will build new muscles and replace the nerves," he told Odin and Friga who had each taken one to inspect them.
"How would one implant one?" Friga asked after setting the one she had down.
"Lay it over the eye socket, and press gently on the pupil, the nanites will do the work from there," Sam said after Alex glanced at her as she understood them better than he did, " a small warning there will be a little disorientation until the eye calibrates," she finished explaining.
Loki watched them while cuddling the sleeping child in her lap as she was thinking over her brother's actions and the story of the attack on the vault and Jotenheim, she realized that these people knew she had planned to cause the raid but told it in a way to keep her involvement secret after they removed the cursed blood she felt the rage that has always been in the back of her mind fade away, thinking that it was part of the curse to force her to help the Jotens, gasping at that thought she looked to her mother and father tears in her eyes.
"Father Mother I have to speak privately with you after you and our guests have finished," she said when all eyes turned to her.
"We're done here, we only came to Asgard to inform Heimdall and greet you then resume our journey, but Thor had his little tantrum," Alex told them Sam and Kira nodded in agreement.
Odin and Friga saw the panic and fear in her eyes and sprang to her side being careful to not wake Karen as neither was as sturdy as Thor wanted to feel the punch of the little one, especially after hearing of how strong she was.
Alex and Sam exchanged glances and nods, " This seems important we will leave you and continue our journey with one last piece of information, Earth or Midgard as you call it will be the center point of several conflicts in the future after the convergence in the next few years the Either will be found," he told them as Sam stood to take Karen in her arms.
"The Either, my father told everyone that it was destroyed at the end of the war with the dark elves," Odin told them as he sank into the chair next to Loki's.
"No it's an infinity stone it takes all of them together to destroy them but that's only temporary as they will reform in time as they are part of the cycle of the death and rebirth of a universe," Alex said while helping Kira stand.
All three sat there stunned at this news, " Know this right now there are two stones on Earth at this time one is being studied while the other is being guarded by a group of mystics most do not know they guard it," Sam added as Karen squirmed in her arms to get comfortable.
Kira went to rub Karen's back helping her fall back to sleep, " I'm sorry but I know nothing to offer as advice as I've just joined in their travels after Alex saved me."
Odin nodded in thanks, and Friga and Loki as well, "Thank you this is the information we need troubling as it is we shall be able to monitor the stones and intervene if need be."
Alex smiled, "You'd have to be careful with the humans they will attempt to keep you from the stones, I would recommend sending someone to speak with a man named Nicholas Fury, he leads an organization that stays in the background and protects the world, he is wary of the ston his people are studying but do not go directly to him he is a spymaster."
"Also look for a man named Philip Colson who is a spy as well and is more personable, he works directly under Fury, he would be who to approach first, " Sam added.
"Will you be returning?" Loki asked.
Alex shrugged, "It's possible but not for a while we are going to a universe where a group of beings have enslaved the Galaxy that Midgard is and will be setting up a power base to help free the people," he told them while looking at Sam, " Sam here is from that reality cluster I doubt we'll get to the exact reality she is from but it'll be close."
Sam nodded, "Alex's father sent me to be with him during a ten-year time of exile to keep him from losing his mind while his powers were unstable, we believe I am a clone of a Samantha Carter and with each reality cluster being infinitely expanding it is impossible to pinpoint the reality I am originally from," she explained.
Odin stood again and stepped extending an arm to Alex who grasped his forearm, "You and yours are welcome here in Asgard," Friga stood and hugged Kira then Sam being careful not to wake Karen.
"We will try to come back for a longer visit, as I've said this time was just a stopover to see where in time your universe was, we'll be in Sam's home cluster for a few weeks working on setting up our base, then we will be going back to Kira's home to visit friends," Alex said while shaking his arm once.
Sam opened the door behind her as Friga released her, "We'll open the door at Heimdall post when we return," she said as Kira stepped through the door only to turn around her face showing shock.
"Umm Sam, Alex why is that monk woman tied up in the living room?" she asked stepping back to the room in Asgard.
