Alex and Sam appeared in the bank vault, then stepped over to the ring that led to the market area, Turning the way to the bar not far from the entrance.
When they entered the bar, Alex walked over to the bar and helped Sam sit on a stool before taking a seat, "What can I get ya?" Tom asked them as he stepped across from them.
"I'll take a Coke and information on how to hire a few people to help me in a world I'm working on," Alex told him then looked to Sam.
"The same drink and I'm with him," she said, pointing to Alex.
Tom pulled two cans from under the counter and slid them to the two, "You can use the interface on the bartop to put in a work order, I charge a coin for the service of acting as an intermediary."
Alex nodded, then passed his I.D. card over to Tom to pay for the drinks and service using the interface.
Sam Watched as the screen in front of them went from lying on the bartop to a floating holographic projection that also put up a blurry dome over them.
Alex worked his way through the interface until he found the work order tab, "Hey this is just like a job service application."
"Well, we are basically looking for temporary workers, plus from what I remember from reading in the vault while you were setting up that auction."
Alex nodded while he worked his way through the setup of the work order, "Let's see here Six people who are just starting, oh where we make an offer in payment, Let's see I'll need to offer money, I do not know what some will need or want, oh a comments section I'll add in that we will need to meet with them to negotiate payments, okay ill just set it up for newbies wanting to go to the Stargate universe and see who we get."
Sam looked over the work request, " You didn't make any offers other than negotiable," she pointed out after reading.
"Yeah, it is hard enough to do this; I don't know what to offer or what they will need; I'll offer them a bloodline; the only one I'm not going give out is the Martian; we don't need untrained telepaths running around."
Sam nodded, "So now what? I doubt the bartender will like us holding any meetings here."
Alex looked around as the privacy bubble faded away then waved to Tom, "What can I do for you?" Tom asked when he stopped across from them.
"We need a place to meet with the people we will be hiring we didn't know if we could do that here or if you had rooms for stuff like that."
"Yeah, we got a few rooms for private stuff, it runs a coin for a day," Tom answered as he picked up a glass and rag to clean the rag.
Alen nodded then opened the interface and added a note to ask Tom for the room number, when the bubble disappeared again he spoke, "Alright I've made a note to ask you for directions, run a tab on my card for the room, this may take a while, one or two meals depending on how long we take unlimited non-alcohol drinks until they leave."
Tom nodded and tapped the countertop, then took Alex's card and ran it over the screen only he could see, "Room two, up the stairs on the right," he told them, pointing to a set of stairs over their shoulder.
The two nodded, took their drinks, and headed to the stairs. When they found the room, opening the door, they found a large room with a table surrounded by chairs.
Closing the door they sat at the table, "How long do you think it'll take?" Sm asked as she looked around the room noticing that it had what looked like a dumbwaiter in about the middle of the room.
Alex shrugged, "I don't know...," he started to say when a knock on the door drew their attention.
Sam got up and went to the door; opening it, she found a woman standing there, "May I join you?" the woman asked. Her voice was melodic. When Sam looked closer, she could see pointed ears poking out of her golden blonde hair.
Sam stepped back and gestured for her to enter, "Thank you. I come to represent one of the few neutral groups here in the market; we monitor when unaffiliated travelers make a request," she told them as she sat in a chair across from Alex as Sam retook her seat.
"You're here to make sure we don't screw over the newbies?"
"Yes, back in the beginning, some of the beings here took advantage of the new people; many signed away their lives without knowing until it was too late; your grandfather took notice when those beings began flooding realities with armies to take them over, he set laws here that limit what can be done to the people," she answered while opening a folder she pulled from presumably a hammerspace.
Alex nodded, "I can see something like that happening when beings who want to rule everything find ways to get their hands on something like this," he said gesturing to himself.
The woman nodded with a smile, "Yes, the market started as a haven for those who wanted out of service to those who tricked them, they serve as workers or advisers to those that are new to all of this, eventually they will earn their freedom from those beings working here though I am unsure how it all works."
"Probably Gramps just nullifying those contracts when the people have worked off the damages they've caused," Alex said after thinking it over.
"So universal community service?" Sam asked looking confused.
"That is an apt description," the woman said while looking through some papers from the folder, "Now, while I doubt you will attempt to enslave anyone, I need to ask, what are your reasons for making this request?"
Sam looked to Alex letting him know to answer, "We are in a Stargate reality, so far we've changed a few things, like helping the Asgard defeat the replicators and populating Atlantis with ten thousand Alterans which in turn caused the Wraith to wake early, what we want are six new people to come to that reality, three will help with the Wraith while three will stay in the Milky Way to help fight the Goa'uld."
The woman nodded as she made notes, "And what are you looking for in these people, morality-wise?"
"Chaotic good or chaotic neutral, I want to make this reality home for us, so I do not want to swap one set of tyrants for another set."
Making a few notes she looked up with a smile, "Alright now, what are you offering as payment?"
"Well excluding the home or warehouse that is automatically gained when jumpers or travelers activate let's see, I am willing to pay for each to upgrade their home or warehouse with the six-ship spaceport, also I will provide one ship per person it will resemble the NX-zero- one Enterprise on the outside it will be a combination of Asgard and Alteran on the inside, I will also offer one bloodline as well, I can currently offer the basic Kryptonian bloodline, the Marvel Asgardian bloodline please make a note that powers for the Asgard will depend on the person, I also have the Vulcan bloodline I can make it full or half depending on the person and finally I can offer the Alteran bloodline."
She nearly dropped her pen as he spoke, "You are offering a great deal, the ships, I understand, but the bloodlines aside from the Vulcan are rare and very valuable. Are you sure you can pay for those?"
Alex chuckled at her shocked expression, and then he raised a hand; over his palm, a small orb formed, and after a second, it took on the color scheme of Superman.
She nearly jumped from her chair as she realized what he held in his hand, as he set the orb on the table her eyes followed it, "To me, the bloodlines are just something to sell in the market, I do have the upgraded Kryptonian one but I do not want to set someone with that much power loose in the reality" he then pushed the orb over to her so she could inspect it better.
Sam quietly watched inwardly she was amused at the woman's reactions, "Do you think this is enough payment for the people we are looking for?"
It took the woman several minutes to tear her eyes from the orb, "Umm, the upgrade for the spaceports and the ships is enough; the bloodlines are overkill; they will make this job easy for the people."
Alex nodded, "I expect even with the powers, it will still take some time, maybe even years, so write it up as a ten-year contract with the option to extend at the request of their side, that way they can either stay longer or we can hire others to take their place."
"We can do that, will you be paying for a knowledge package to help these people to know how to work the ships?"
Alex nodded, "Yes make it the best package on the market."
"Finally, what of companions? The companies recognize that while people are adaptable, they also sometimes need to hide their origins, so they offer a free companion to help keep the people stable."
Alex shrugged, "I'll match them in the bloodlines, each will give the people instinctual knowledge of their powers as well as seamlessly merge with any powers they may have before gaining it."
The woman nodded as she made one final note, "By the way do you have the schematics or data packages for the ships you are offering?"
"No, I haven't built the ships yet but I can tell that the computer system will be based on Alteran, while its weapons will be a mix of Asgard and Alteran on the energy type while they'll have the microphase drones designed to fit the torpedo tubes that NX-zero-one has and the power systems will be a dual system Neutrino ion generators equivalent to a Biliskneir class ship as well as a three Petentia system like the Aurora class ship, the shields will be a combination of the ship hugging type from the Asgard and bubble type of the Alteran."
"Alright, now I'll fill out the paperwork, then we will wait to see who comes along after finishing their orientation," she told them as she filled in a few parts of a piece of paper, "Now I'll file this with the orientation workers, and they will make this offer to the people who appear if they meet the morality request," she told them as she finished filling out the description of the ships on offer then putting it back into the folder then closing it, as the folder closed it flashed signifying the paperwork had been sent to where it was needed.
They sat there for nearly half an hour, talking over several subjects. The woman asked them about their journey so far, and Sam told her about the few places they had been to and what they had done; she grew excited when talking about the girls, especially Karen.
When a knock on the door rang out they jumped a little as they were engrossed in their discussion, Alex stood and opened the door, and outside the room stood a group of twenty people, a few looked to be in their late teens while the rest were in their late twenties, all had a hopeful expression, Alex stepped the side and waved them into the room.
The three watched as the people took seats; Alex noticed that they sat in pairs; it then hit him that these people had already gotten their companions. Being in this place, time didn't mean much.
"Alright, I need to know how many of you already have a companion?" Alex asked as he took his seat.
Half of the group raised their hands, "The lady that I met with said picking a companion before I came here would speed things up," Alex looked at the teen that spoke and did a double take as it was a nineteen-year-old Xander Harris and next to him sat Cordelia Chase, the others nodded in agreement.
"I didn't think there would be a Xander Harris showing up; most of you guys either get a rewrite in time, or you guys are just lucky and get out of trouble somehow," Alex said, remembering the one ControlFreak mentioned.
Xander shrugged, "Got pulled into the portal Acathla opened instead of Deadboy, it did something that kept the powers from pulling me out or putting me back where I belong so these people grabbed me, did some mumbo-jumbo that cleaned out the darkness, said something about tossing a clone of me out to take my place then they grabbed Cordy's memories and put em in a clone." None but Sam noticed that Cordelia smirked with a mysterious twinkle in her eyes.
Alex nodded then looked at the woman whose phone rang, he waited for her to hang up the phone and take it out of her hammerspace, when she hung up her phone she looked to Alex, "The orientation workers say there are only one or two who meet the requirements but they are going the mystic dark ages type path."
"That's fine, do you know how long it'll be before another group will be ready or here?"
"It varies but most of the time the people that come here are chaotic neutral to chaotic evil who are working to pay off their sins instead of going to hell, so it could be anywhere from a week to years before this many come along, I think they used some temporal strings to get you this group," the woman said while looking at a stack of files that appeared in front of her.
Alex shrugged and then looked over the group again, he saw two Hermione Grangers, but the other two women he didn't know were possibly they were game characters he never got the chance to play.
Then he realized that one of the Hermiones was one of the ones that had razed a hand; next to her was a Harry Potter; he put it to the back of his mind for now and then looked at the rest.
"I think we have enough; four more groups won't hurt too much if the orientation people did their job right. We can finish up here; what do you think?" he asked Sam and the woman who was still reading through the files Alex assumed were the profiles of each of the people who had become travelers or jumpers.
Sam shrugged, "You are the one paying for this I'm just along for the ride and to keep Karen from pestering you into buying a planet of ponies."
Alex shuddered, "Please do not say that where she can hear you, or eventually she will do just that."
"Everything is in order; the closest to not being either chaotic good or just natural is Mr. Harris, but that comes from living in Sunnydale, he will be a nuisance and no real danger to those on his side," the woman said as she finished the last file.
Alex nodded then looked to the group again, "How many of the jumpers know about Stargate?"
Everyone except for Xander and the older of the Hermiones raised a hand, Alex nodded then amended his question, "How many know about Stargate Atlantis?" two hands went down.
"Alright, we are going to be going to a Stargate reality, what we are hiring you all for is to help with either the Goa'uld or the Wraith, we will be working with the humans of Earth, as well as the Asgard once we get them settled and cured of their genetic degradation, and a group of Alterans who are even now fighting the Wraith, Im just stacking the deck a little more by hiring you all, any questions?"
"Is this place we are going to anything like Wormhole Extreme?" Xander asked.
Cordelia rolled her eyes with a soft smile, "You're such a dork."
Alex nodded, "It's close; I'm going to guess you are from a reality where the Stargate exists; Wormhole Extreme is a series produced by an alien that the people who use the Stargate to travel to other planets allow to be aired to reinforce the secret of the Stargate."
"What about magic?" one Hermione asked.
"Only the magic you bring with you," Sam answered.
"For those of you who do not know about the Stargate, we will make sure you get a copy of the series and movies to watch to learn as much as you can, but for now I want you to talk among yourselves to decide which bloodline you want to take," Alex told them then he turned to the woman, "I need to rent a medical-room to take to help the Asgard quickly."
The woman held up the Kryptonian orb, "One more should cover it plus give my group a bit of funding, but why not upgrade your med-chamber to expand to match the number of patients?"
"Oh, I'm thinking of doing that, but I won't be staying on Othala. I need to be in the Milky Way, or Sam here will kick my ass," Alex said as he rolled another orb he formed hidden in his hand over to her.
While they were talking, Sam had told the others they had enough time to think things over slowly, and then she reminded them that they could order meals and drinks; she then went to the dumb waiter and ordered two cokes to show them how it worked.
Alex finished talking to the woman and then walked around the table to speak to the two Hermiones and their companions; the one with Harry looked to be around the age she was during the hunt, while the other looked to be around fourteen to match the young man at her side.
"We're going to need one of you to use your middle name to keep the confusion down when you two are in the same room or during communications," he told them as he pulled out a seat.
"I can go by Jean," the younger one said as she looked at the teen at her side who nodded.
"That's fine. It may take some getting used to, but in time, I can do it." the teen said.
"Also, if you are going the magic route, I recommend taking the Asgard bloodline; it's based on the Asgard from the Marvel comics, and it will make you guys near demi-god levels in magic in the beginning. In time, you'll grow to Thor to Loki's level in power," Alex told them.
The woman waved to get his attention, excusing himself, when he was across from her she spoke, "I found a group willing to rent an expanding medical room that can hold up to a thousand people at a time, the Asgard have a time dilation device that should allow them to be fixed in about a week give or take a few days."
Alex nodded, "Have it sent to my spaceport," he told her then looked over the group, "Unless they don't want to go I think we'll hire these people, we can give them the time to think it over but go ahead and have the contracts ready for us to sign."
The woman nodded, "Already done, you and the other just need to sign them," she told him sliding one over for him to read over, "they are a basic work order contract, all we need to fill in is the payment method you have offered and the time requirement then add in the extension option which they will be taking as voluntary considering you are basically overpaying them."
Alex nodded as he finished reading over the contract, "Ten years seems to be good. It is just about the length of time it took for the Goa'uld to be defeated, then the Ori if they show up. Should I add the magic I know from High school DxD to this payment list?"
"Maybe add that as a payment option if they extend the contract," she suggested.
"Yeah, that'll work, we'll wait until we are in the reality we are going to be working in to give out the bloodlines, we have a mostly empty planet they can use to get used to the strength, the only thing they will need to do here is buy the spaceport,"
"It is the contract, they will be added once you and they finish signing, and your vault will be charged."
"Add the three-tier library with one section being the basic twenty-twenty Earth package and the other two sections they can choose," Alex added as he was thinking about how to allow the people to learn what they need to know about the Stargate reality.
After adding the library addition, they spoke about him possibly having job opportunities later on in his travels; Sam joined them and added a few ideas about some places she wanted to look into.
"We are going to be in the Star Trek reality somewhere around the time Voyager takes place; we could bring a few people with us to help Voyager's crew survive better; it's an easy seven-year job they just won't be able to help get Voyager home early."
"Why can't they help get them home early?" the woman asked.
"Q warned us that if we joined the crew we could help with everything but speeding up the trip home," Alex answered.
For another two hours, they spoke over nothing in particular; it was Xander who let them know everyone was ready, "Hey, boss man, I think we are ready to get this show on the road," Xander called out, only for Cordy to bop him on the back of the head.
Alex looked up from signing the contracts in the places he needed to sign, "Alright, I need the traveler/jumpers to read these and then sign," he said, passing the stack of contracts to Xander.
"This has both bloodlines listed, are we getting both, and what is this about a three-tier library with one section already filled?" Hermione asked being the first to finish reading.
"Circle what bloodline you chose; the library is how you guys are going to be able to watch the Stargate series and movies. The other two sections are for you to choose."
Hermione nodded and then signed her contract; the others followed suit, and after each signed, the contracts flashed leaving three copies on the table, and everyone seemed to go into a trance for a few minutes.
The woman walked around the table, picked up two copies, and separated them into two stacks, one of which she handed to Alex, "One copy for our records and one for you to put in your vaults," she told him as she put her stack in the folders matching the signer.
After everyone regained focus Hermione spoke again, "I don't feel any different,"
"We are going to wait until on the planet I've claimed for those of you who chose the Kryptonian or Asgard bloodline so you can get a handle on the strength and other powers you'll gain; it's mostly empty, so you won't hurt anyone, all you got just now was the knowledge to pilot the ships I'll be giving you."
"I am finished here unless you need anything else," the woman said picking up her folder and then storing them.
Alex shook his head, " No, we are done here; I just need to get these guys settled and then start on a project I promised Q I would do in the Ida Galaxy after I drop off the medical room for the Asgard."
"Um, how do we get there?" Xander asked.
"The contract gives you access to the reality you were hired to help in, but I recommend you allow Alex to go first so you all will have a focal point to join them on the planet to receive the bloodline," the woman said, then left.
Alex stood and then opened the door to the house on the wall behind him, "Or you guys can go to our spaceport and wait."
"That sounds a bit easier than trying to find you," Xander said standing with the others following.
Alex turned to Sam, "Can you lead them to the Spaceport? I need to go to the vault and drop off these and set up a few auctions," he said holding up the contracts.
Sam nodded and then led the group through the house, noting that the living room was empty. When they got to the workshop, everyone was amazed at the vehicles and other things.
"Come along, you guys will be getting better things than you see here soon," she told them remembering how she felt the first time she saw these things.
When she finally got them to the spaceport, they were again shocked at its size, "Each of you travelers/jumper now has a similar setup connected to your home or warehouse," she told them as she walked to Athena, who was in flight mode.
"Are the others on board?"
'Yes, Hermiod wanted to do a deeper scan of my systems while here in the spaceport so that if they do damage I will be repaired.'
Sam nodded, "That makes sense, let them know we are back and will be heading back to the planet soon."
'Okay, Kira and Karen will be there soon, they want to meet the guest,' Athena told her.
"So cool you have a living ship. Did you guys meet J'on? It looks like the Javalin but colored like a Martian ship from the comics," Xander asked excitedly.
"Yeah, we met him and most of the founding members of the Justice League; the only one we have a problem with is the bat."
"But Batman is so cool he can fight all those villains with nothing but his wit and skill," Xander exclaimed several of the others nodding in agreement.
"And who caused most, if not all, of his villains to up their weapons and get powers through one means or another?" Alex asked as he came up behind the group startling them.
"Let's not get into that debate," Sam said with a sigh as Kira joined them with Karen on her hip; all of the females rushed to her side, fawning over Karen.
Alex watched this, amused at them. He then turned to the guys, "Expect them to want a child of their own in a year or so."
He gave the women a few minutes to coo over Karen and let the men sweat over the thought of their companions wanting children so soon.
"Alright, everyone, load up. We will be going to our base," He called out, gesturing to Athena.
Kira nodded and then returned to the ship, the women following while still trying to get Karen to come to them, Alex and the guys not far behind them; when they passed Hermiod, he remembered the medical room he rented, "Sam, get them settled on the bridge ill be right back."
He turned around and left the ship then looked around the spaceport and found a large metallic box about the size of a wardrobe that wasn't there before they went to the market, walking over he lifted the box then went back to the ship where he placed the box out of the way before going to the bridge to find Athena had grown enough seats for everyone, while it was crowded there was enough room for him to take his seat.
"Hermiod, we will be taking these people to the planet, then we'll be going to Othala to drop off something to help your people," Sam told the Asgardian woman as the door of the spaceport opened to reveal the former replicator world with the watchtower in orbit not far from the door.
Hermiod nodded as she watched the ship slowly fly through. "This is the planet we first encountered the replicators. Has your group claimed it for your purposes?"
"Yeah, the Goa'uld have never come here, so we will have time to get things going; we intend to take the Stargate up to the Watchtower once we finish our talks with the SGC," Alex told her while Sam set course to land the ship near the remains of the largest city.
Once on the ground, everyone exited, "Alright guys, Kryptonian stand over there, Marvel Asgard there," he said, pointing to two spots he didn't get to, the Alteran or Vulcan, as the group split and went to where he indicated.
He went to the Kryptonian group first and handed them a small orb he pulled from a pocket to hide the fact that he could just touch them to give them the powers.
"Hold it in a fist, and it will enter your flesh; you won't feel much different at first until you absorb enough sunlight," He then turned and handed over the Asgard orbs.
"You guys are going to suddenly grow stronger as well as grow energetic cores, if you didn't have this energy before now talk to Hermione or Jean about how they learned to control them, now I know this comes with instinctual knowledge on how to use what you will gain you will still need to learn to control the physical strength you now or will have so you don't break things accidentally," Sam told the group as Alex finished with Xander and Cordelia in the Asgard power up.
"I thought you would take the Kryptonian set," Alex told Xander once the two absorbed the orb.
Xander shrugged, "Magic, I know better. Plus if we ever go to a DC universe, we won't be affected by Kryptonite," he answered while flexing his fingers and getting a feeling of his new strength.
"This world has no people, so you won't hurt anyone, but you can break things here without worry; you'll have two weeks to adjust while we wait for the people of Earth to be ready to meet with us," Sam said while indicating herself and Alex.
"I'm going to go dial up the SGC and tell them we will want them to come here instead of us going to Earth, then we will go take care of the Asgard," Alex said then walked off toward the Stargate on the other side of the clearing they had landed in.
Sam nodded stooped down and picked up a small piece of metal, holding it up she showed it to the others, "These are the remains of a robotic spider about the size of a softball, you'll find them almost everywhere, leave them alone for now, you may come across a humanoid android around here, whatever you do, don't activate it or we will eventually be overrun by the spider's again, if you find the android let one of us know so we can destroy it."
Back on Earth, deep in the NORAD facility housing the SGC, General Hammond was reading over the reports from Colonel O'Neill and Captian Carter; with Carter's help, the Stargate had been returned to operational; once they had it working, he had recalled all SG teams as a safety measure in case the gate went down again.
When he finished the reports, he read the medical report by Dr. Fraiser on the two which amazed him as the report detailed that both were now physically in their prime with none of the previous scars either had from their many battles with the Jaffa.
He was just finishing the reports when the alarms began blaring followed by Walter calling over the PA system, "Unscheduled off-world activation."
Hammond sprang from his seat, ignoring the pain in his knees as he rushed to the Stargate observation room, followed soon by SG one except Daniel, who was still unconscious.
"What do you have Walter?" Hammond asked just as the whoosh of the gate settled back into the shimmering pool that is needed to travel then it was covered by the titanium iris closed.
"Sir, we are receiving a signal no inbound traveler," Walter answered, pointing to the piece of tech Carter had claimed to hold some safety protocols as well as a caller I.D to show where the incoming wormhole came from, a small pad beside the device had a copy of the gate address shown drawn.
"Sir, that is the same frequency we used to contact the base from orbit," Carter said after she looked over the computer screen over Walter's shoulder.
"Answer it," Hammond ordered.
"Rady," Walter replied after a few keys were pressed then indicated the microphone next to his station.
"This is General Hammond of the SGC, please respond."
'Oh hey, general, this is Alex from the group that helped O'Neill and Carter; I'm just calling to give you the address of the planet my group has claimed.'
Jack looked incensed, "You guys took over a world what did you do to the people?" he snapped before thinking.
'We are not the Goa'uld; this planet's people were destroyed over five thousand years ago by the same thing we helped the Asgard with; we will be cleaning things up to ensure they don't make a comeback; it'll take a few weeks to do,' Alex snapped back.
Hammond glared at O'Neill causing him to back off and then turned back to the mic, "Let me take this time to thank you for returning my people as well as seeing to their medical needs, I have been in talks with the president, I am sorry to tell you that we may never know who gave the order to assassinate you beyond senator Kensey, aprxitmetly twenty-four hours after you left the planet he and many others we assume were connected one way or another simply died."
'Huh? That's odd we were out of the Sol system twenty minutes after we left Earth I may need to return to scan the planet from orbit once we finish our talks.'
"You believe another group has made contact and was using the Senator to try to control the Stargate?" Hammond asked.
'Uh, I'm not sure and won't be until I get those scans, I'm sure Carter reported we come from another reality.'
"Yes, she made sure to underline that part of her report; what does that have to do with Kensey?"
'We've spoken to others who have made a reality similar to this one home where Kensey and his friends were being controlled by cloned Goa'uld symbiotes, but if they simply died your medical people would find the symbiote in the corpse or evidence one was there," Alex told them then went silent thinking over what may have caused this.
"Are you sure about the Goa'uld?"
'Oh, umm, yeah, in those worlds, they got them from sending people up to those ships Apophis attacked Earth with.'
The general and SG one exchanged concerned looks, "We've not been attacked by Apophis other than off-world." Hammond told him as he made a mental note to speak to Teal'c about the possibility of it happening here later.
'Ahh shit we're on a different timeline the sequence of events we know of is going to happen differently than we know, General I'm going to need the nonclassified reports of SG one brought when the meeting happens,' Alex swore as he was hoping to be able to follow the timeline they knew from the show.
"I can not authorize that," Hammond replied.
'Fine, then I'll need the addresses and a list of names you people have met with, this is information I need so we know what's been done, so far only the Cimeria problem has been taken care of we'll be sending a team to help the Argosian people next soon and fix the damage SG one has left those people with.'
"What damages? I was under the impression that the Argosian people were freed from some sort of experiment."
'Have O'Neill and Carter tell you about it later. I don't have the time to go into it right now. Thor just arrived in orbit and is requesting I go with him to his planet.' Aex said before closing the connection, followed by the wormhole dissipating.
Hammond sighed before turning to his second in command, "The Argosians?" he asked, then turned to go to the stairs to conference above the control room.
O'Neill and Carter sighed as they followed him. Teal'c joined them, his expression stoic as always.
Back on the planet, just after Alex ended the call he made to the SGC, he looked at Sam and Hermiod, who let him know Thor was now in orbit and requested they join him on his ship.
"Alright let's go see what he wants after we get the medical room from the hold on Athena and get the others settled a bit more," he told them before turning and walking toward the spot where the others were mingling about.
When they joined them all eyes turned to him, "Okay folks you've got a couple of weeks to adjust, now here are a few suggestions for you all to look into, once you get your ships later this week all of the travelers will be considered captains and your companions should be commander, what I want you all to do is to work on being addressed by those ranks so when we are meeting with the SGC people you won't be caught off guard."
"While we won't be a military force, the SGC people will be comfortable addressing you as such considering how young most of you look, while they do know we are from another reality they don't know more than that, we will be telling them that age is subjective to our people once we reach the age of fifty but we can not go below appearing fifteen," Sam took up the explanation.
The group nodded, "Now we are going to be heading to Othala; the Asgard there needs our help, which won't be that long; once we get back, I'll be working on your ships," Alex told them, getting excited expressions from them.
"We won't be gone long, maybe a day at most; we'll leave Athena, Kira, and Karen here so if something comes up, they can get us here quickly," Sam added as Alex went to the cargo hold to retrieve the box containing the medical room.
"What do you want us doing while you are gone?" Xander asked.
"Nothing yet, just get used to your changes," Alex said rejoining them box in hand.
