The glee club finally meets their competition in regionals. Making new enemies
Mckinley High:
Will was driving his car through the parking lot until he found an open spot. He parked his car before climbing out, and grabbed his satchel from the passenger seat and started walking toward the school until he heard a voice. "Will?!". He turn his head to see emma running up toward him
Will says. "emma. You do know people who run with heals don't end well". Emma laugh as she stopped running and started walking beside him. "i got something for you". She said as she lifted an envelope, making Will look confused as he grabbed the envelope and says. "what's this?"
Emma says. "why don't you open it up and see". Will shrugged as he starter opening the envelope and took out a piece of paper, and starts reading it, making a surprised expression. "oh, no way. This is my competition to regionals!".
Emma clapped her hands before saying. "i wanted to give it to you personally. So who are you going against?". Will read the paper and says. "Aural Intensity from Westvale high school in indiana". Emma nodded. "ok. Who else". Will read the paper again. "uhh. An all boys acapella group called the warblers".
Emma with relief. "oh that's. I was worried you'll be going against vocal adrenaline". Will laugh before saying. "no. Their old news. We'll only worried about them in nationals. My main priority is these two".
Emma: You nervous?
Will: A little. These glee clubs had years of practice
Emma says. "well when you guys competed in sectionals. That was a huge longshot". Will laugh as the two walked into the school
Will continues talking to emma as they were walkin through the hallway. "these warblers have a 2 year championship". Emma nodded. "they are a very popular acapella singers group". Will smiled before saying. "well i hope they like second place". Emma giggled as she walked into her office. Will looks at the list before walking away
On the other side of the school, santana was showing a sonogram to quinn and brittany, making the two cooed. Brittany says. "aww, santana, your niece looks adorable". Santana giggled while looking at the sonogram herself. "she is still a blob to be honest. Looks just like my brother".
The trio started laughing as santana put the sonogram in book. Quinn says. "so your parents were ok bringing a picture of her to your school"
Santana nodded as she opened up her locker. "oh yeah, their fine as long as i don't lose it. Which that won't be a problem". Santana took out a couple books from her locker as quinn continues talking. "it sounds like your dad is doing well then". Santana nodded. "He is doing good. He's actually gonna get discharge from the hospital tomorrow. But ms pillsbury gave my mom a pamplet about helping the victim. Like diets, and he is not happy when he read he can't eat meat". The three started laughing again. Santana closed her locker while holding her books
Quinn says. "i'm glad your dad is doing well, though, he was like a real dad to me". Santana smiled. "he sends his love to my friends. Especially rachel. I don't know how, but that girl wins everyone hearts". Brittany nodded. "you're proof of that. Before she came, you were in the other team". Santana chuckled while shaking her head
Brittany looks ahead and says. "hey, sanny. Theirs your better half". Santana turn her head and smile when she sees rachel walking into the hallway, with her hand touching her forehead. But she stopped when david, azimio, and sam walked up, and david and azimio chugged large cups at rachel, hitting her with red slushies. The two started lauging while sam was following them
Santana, with anger walked up and yells out. "Do that again and i'll go all lima high up your ass". Sam turned around and started walking backwards and shrugged with an apology expression before turning around and followed karofsky and azimio
Santana shook her head as quinn and brittany walked up. Santana looks at rachel and ask. "rachel, you ok?". Rachel started to shiver before talking, revealing her voice haa gotten scratchy. "i-i-i'm a little cold".
Brittany: woah. Rachel i like your new voice
Santana makes a worried expression before saying. "berry. Do you feel ok?". Rachel says. "i woke up feeling. Different". Quinn walked up and put the back of her hand at rachel forehead, and says. "she's burning up". Rachel weakly says. "no, i'm fine. We have to practice for-". Rachel turned around quickly and started coughing, with her arm around mouth. She move her arm away and held her neck with pain. "ow".
Santana looks at quinn and brittany, and says. "tell sue that i'm sorry. But i'm taking rachel to the nurse". Santana grabbed rachel shoulders and started guiding her through the hallway until they found the nurse office, where they see the nurse, an middle age african american woman with a pixie haircut. She was looking through a file until she notice the two girls. "oh, hello. What can i do for you".
Rachel says. "i'm fine". Santana shook her head before pointing at her girlfriend. "your an expert, and my parents are doctors. Their is no way she looks fine". The nurse pulled a chair out and told rachel. "have a seat".
Rachel groan before dropping her backpack, and walk up and sat down on the chair infront of the nurse, who took out a thermometer, and says. "open". Rachel open, and before the nurse puts the meter in her mouth. She quickly took out her flashlights and flash a light in rachel mouth. "oh boy".
Santana, with a worried expression, says. "is she ok?". The nurse says "her tonsils are swollen". The nurse put the flashlight away, and put the thermometer in rachel mouth
The nurse grabbed her clipboard and looks at santana. "any other symptons?". Santana says "she has a fever. And coughing, and she said ow after she cough". The therometer beeped, and the nurse took the therometer out of her mouth and checked the results. "you're right about the fever. 103".
Santana looks at rachel with a shock expression. "what the hell, rachel, did you act like this with shelby?". Rachel weakily says. "i told her i felt fine".
The nurse says. "well your not. You have a what we call, Pharyngitis. It's basically strep throat. But it isn't life threatening". Rachel cough while covering her mouth
Nurse: i'm gonna call your mother to pick you up. I'm also gonna give you some antibiotics. That's the main way to heal pharyngitis
Santana looks at the nurse and says. "so she's gonna be ok?". The nurse nodded. "yeah, it's not serious, she just needs to get some rest. Drink plenty of water". She looks back at rachel". And most importantly, rest your voices. The main cause of Pharyngitis is overuse of the voice".
Santana slowly nodded. "well that's unfortunate, because she's the captain of the glee club". The nurse stood up and opened up her drawer filled with pills. "Well until she feels better, she shouldn't sing. Period".
Rachel slowly nodded. "i understand". The nurse hands rachel the antibiotics. "take one, twice a day, every 12 hours". Rachel put the pills in her pocket
Santana says. "thank you, nurse". Santana walked up and gave rachel a kiss on the head, making the nurse say. "oh, uhh. You shouldn't kiss someone who has Pharyngitis. It's highly contagious". Santana smirk and says. "please. I have a thick immune system that i haven't had a cold since i was 4".
Santana lifted rachel off of the chair and guided her out of the nurse office
Music room:
Will was sitting by the piano, looking through some lyrics until a knock was heard. He lift his head up to see shelby, with a smile on her face. "hey, Will."
Will smile while standing up. "shelby, it's been a while". Shelby nodded while walking up. "yeah, for a couple of months". Will was about to give her a hug, but shelby was going for a handshake. "oh, uhh". Shelby said before lifting her other hand and gave Will a hug. The two were laughing as they took a step back from each other. Will says "still weird".
Shelby nodded and says "yup". Will looks down for a minute before looking back up at shelby and says. "what are you doing here?".
Shelby pointed behind herself before saying. "i am here to pick up rachel". Will makes a confused expression before saying. "but we haven't done glee rehearsal yet". Shelby slowly nodded. "i know, i got a call from work, saying she got some kind of sore throat".
Will: what! really?! is she ok?
Shelby nodded. "yeah, she's fine. They said she just needs rest. The nurse told me that it's usually caused my overuse of her voice". Will makes a confused expression. "look, i know she is the captain of the glee club and our main singer, but i make sure the others get a chance to sing". Shelby nodded. "yeah, i know. But, i was just worried, that's all. It's just, rachel's been through alot, and i don't want her voice damage for singing to much".
Will sigh before saying. "don't worry. During rehearsal yesterday, the group was doing better. We've been practicing for regionals". Shelby slowly nodded. "yeah, sorry. Uhh. Look rachel gonna sit down through today because she doesn't believe on missing a glee meeting". Will started laughing as he sat down. "she's outside right now. Rachel!".
Rachel walked into the music room, putting on a sugrical mask, making Will laugh more. "rachel, what are you wearing?". Rachel pulled her mask down, and starts talking. "just because i'm sick. Doesn't mean i can miss my team working for regionals. But i would rather not affect them with whatever i have". She puts her mask back up, and then took out some rubber gloves, and puts them on. She looks back at Will and shelby. "i got this stuff from Ms. Pillsbury". Will laugh before saying. "just have a seat"
Rachel pointed by the drumsets. "i'll sit right over there". Rachel walked up and sat down on the barstool
Not long after, the entire glee club walked into the music room, and each sat down on the bleachers. Santana walked by rachel, and try to pull her mask down. But rachel turned her head away. "no no. You'll get sick". Santana smiled before kissing rachel cheek, and walked toward the bleachers
Tina, with mike arm around her shoulder, looks at sugar and says. "are you wearing a headband?". Sugar nodded before adjusting her headband. "yeah. My wig gotten loose. I can't wait until my hair grows".
Will stood infront of New Direction and clapped his hands together. "alright guys. I usually start these meetings with good news, but today we have bad news. Rachel has some kins of strep throat". The glee club looks at rachel with concern, who only wave at them
Will: hopefully with rest, rachel will only be out of comission for just today. But for now, we should start practicing for regionals. I got the list of our competition
Kurt ask. "who are we up against". Santana says. "please don't let it be vocal adrenaline". Will shook his head. "no adrenaline this year. We are going against a high school glee club in indiana, the aurel intensity. And an all boy school, the warblers". Mercedes scoff before whispering to matt. "we got this". Shelby stares at mercedes for a minute until Will started talking again. "Ok, guys. Why don't we start warming up our vocals".
The glee club stood up from the bleachers and walked up and stood beside the piano. Will started playing the piano. "and Five, six, seven, and eight". The group started warming up their vocals, by singing the same melody. "Me, Me, Me, Me, Me". And continue repeating it
Will was looking at the group as they sang, and makes a confused expression. He look at the group again before stopping himself from playing the piano and says. "Ok ok, stop it". The group stopped singing and look at each other with a confused expression. Will points at mercedes. "mercedes, you weren't even singing. And don't try to deny it"
Mercedes sigh. "i'm resting my voice. I can't have it gone like rachel". Rachel look down, making santana stand up and about to walk toward mercedes, but quinn held her back. "don't even try".
Will slowly stood up and says. "mercedes. Was this the first time you did this?". Mercedes shook her head. "no. I've done it the last couple of days. My voice is my everything".
Will says. "you can't just not sing to rest it. Your making everyone else work harder. And you know what, it's not just you. I can not here some of you. Mike. Finn. Tina. Look what happened to rachel, she overuse her voice". The four slowly look down. "beside. We have regionals to practice. We cannot slack off".
Mercedes: Oh please, Mr. Schue. We got regionals in the bag. We're going against an all boys glee club. What can they do?
Will stares at mercedes with a disappointed expression
Sue's office:
Sue was in a middle of a workout, using her elliptical while looking through her cheerios performance in her laptop
Will was pacing around the room. "i mean, i couldn't believe it. Mercedes said she's resting her voice until regionals". Sue stopped her elliptical, and stepped off of the machine. "their over confidents. Because of their win from sectionals, they think their gonna be at the top". She said when she grabbed her to go cup, and started drinking her smoothie
Will nodded as he rubbed the back of his neck. "that's what i thought". Sue sat down behind her desk and propped her feet ontop of her desk. "so why come to me, will?".
Will: since you have experience with over confidence from your cheerios. I was wondering if you have advice
Sue lifted her feet off of her desk, and she sat up. "break their confidence". Will says. "But how? i'm used to boost their confidence".
Sue nodded. "that's true. Breaking people is not in your nature, it's usually mine". She set her smoothie down before asking. "when did this start?".
Will shrugged, and say. "i don't know. But it gotten bigger when i told them our competition for regionals". Sue slowly gets up and says. "that's it. We show them the competition in action".
Will eyes opened wide before saying. "that's a good idea, actually. They freaked out when they saw vocal adrenaline during sectionals". Sue grabbed her smoothie and says. "let's go".
Will: wait. You wanna come with me?
Sue: what better way to help their confidence than to get help from an expert
Will nodded with a smile. "ok, thanks". Sue walked around her desk and says. "so where's this aurel intensity?". Will with hesitation, says. "indiana". Sue shook her head immediately. "yeah, i'm not ok with driving in a car for over an hour with you. I can tolerate you, but in a small car, no". Will laugh before saying. "the next is warblers. Their not to far". Sue grabbed her bag and says. "then that's our destination".
The two teachers drove not long toward a private school. "dalton academy". Sue and Will climb out of Will's car and walked into the building, seeing teen boys walking through the hallway, each wearing the school uniform, dark blue jackets, covering their white collar, button shirts. The jacket collars are red. Each jacket has a pocket on their chest, with the school symbol stitch. Each boy is wearing dark grey dress pants. And to complete the look, they are wearing a red tie with black stripes
Sue notice two boys walking past her, laughing together. She looks back at Will and says. "this school is right up girl hudson alley". Will shook his head before saying. "sue, just because it's an all boy school doesn't mean these kids are gay".
A group of boys started running toward the same direction. One tall boy, wearing the academy uniform, with an undercut hairstyle was walking while looking through his satchel. Will tapped the boy shoulder, making him look up. "uhh, hi. Uhh, i'm Will schuester. I'm looking for a group called the warblers". The boy lifted his hand and shook Will hand. "I'm the captain of the warblers. Sebastian smythe".
Will: look i don't know if this is tresspassing, but i was wondering if me and my friend can check your team out. We're not spying on anything
Sebastian smiles. "hey, theirs no trouble. I'm heading there anyway. Follow me". Sebastian started walking away. Sue walk past Will and whispers. "he's too nice". Will shook his head before following sebastian
The three were walking through the hallway until they found a large library room. Where a bunch of boys were standing together. Sebastian says. "this here is the warblers". Will shockingly says. "all these people in the glee club?". Sebastian nodded before saying. "well. Most of them. The others are just here to watch".
Will: so your glee club is popular?
Sebastian: oh hell yes, the warblers is the greatest thing that happened in this school. I mean, who cannot withstand the warblers. Check it out. Warblers! Let's show our guest how we do it in Dalton Academy
One member, with his black hair comb, snapped his fingers. And the others members started singing a beat just when sebastian pressed a button on the speaker that is sitting on one of the tables. The main boy started singing as he twirl around

The warblers started moving from left or right while snapping their fingers, making Will smile while watching. Sue looks bored as she sat down on one of the chairs

The music stopped playing, making everyone in the entire room cheer together. The main boy walked up ans gave sebastian a handshake. "still good as ever". He gave another handshake to the african american boy, and a third boy with blonde hair, in a long fringe hairstyle. "as for the rest of you. Doing better". Sebastian put his arm around the main boy and guided him toward Will. "Will Schuester. This is one of my top singers. Blaine anderson, and he's a sophomore".
Blaine gave Will a handshake, with a smile. "nice to meet you". Will nodded. "you too. Uhh, i thought you are the warblers captain".
Blaine says. "he's both the captain and the director". Sebastian nodded. "he's right. In this school, every year, we do a little election to see who will run the warblers. I won twice in the last two years".
Will: well then your the guy i need to talk to. Uhh, i bet your wondering why i'm here
Sebastian slowly nodded before saying. "well yeah, kinda. I mean we don't mind the company". Will says "I'm just gonna give it to you straight, i am the director of New Direction. We're going against you guys at regionals". Sebastian crossed his arms together while nodding. "yeah?". Will continues talking. "my kids are getting over confident, and i was hoping you guys can do a number like this so they can see it isn't easy like sectionals
Blaine starts talking with a surprise expression. "wow, uhh. It's a nice way to get them motivated, but-". Sebastian held his hand infront of blaine before talking himself. "we would like to give an example for those kids". Will smiles before saying. "really? thanks. I appreciate this".
Sue stood up and says. "now we got all of that taken care of. Can i ask you all a question. Are you all gay?". Will dropped his head while Sebastian and blaine started laughing together. Sebastian says. "that's a stareotype".
Blaine: none of us are gay, well they're are a couple of gay kids. But we're not
Will: i apologies for that comment. Can you guys come by Mckinley tomorrow after-school?
Sebastian: i believe we can make that work
Will nodded before walking away with sue. Will says. "you really had to ask that?". Sue scoff before saying. "oh shut up, you were thinking that too".
Sebastian put his arm around blaine as they turned around and started walking. He says. "blaine. I got a project for you". Blaine looks at sebastian with a confused expression
The next day:
At Mckinley high. Will was standing in emma's office, seeing her watering her plants. He ask. "do you think it was a bad idea to ask dalton to perform a good number to get the kids modivated to try harder".
Emma set her spray down, and then grabbed a dust stick, and started dusting the plant. She says "After hearing about rachel voice. You didn't have a choice. But i'm not surprised mercedes was doing something like that. She is a full class diva". Will laugh as she finished dusting her plant just when a knock was heard, making Will turn around to see sebastian standing by the door, and gave Will a thumbs up before walking away. "well. Here goes nothing. You wanna see". Emma quickly nodded before following Will out of her office
Will and emma walked up to the music room, where the glee club was at. Matt, brittany, and mike were standing ontop of the bleachers, practicing their dance move. Mike jumped down and grabbed tina, and dipped her, making tina giggled as he pulled her back up
Puck was standing by the drumset, playing the guitar, giving the four a beat
Mercedes and kurt were sitting down on bottom of the bleacher, talking together
Quinn, santana, finn, kitty, sugar, and artie were standing by the piano, practicing their vocals together. "Me, Me, Me, Me, Me, Me".
Will lightly knock on the doorframe, gaining the glee club attention. "guys. We have an something waiting for you in the auditorium". The glee club, with confusion, stood up and followed Will and emma through the hallway. Artie says. "so what's in the auditorium". As he push his wheels forward
Will: guys. After what i heard yesterday, appalled me, so i ask a favor hoping it'll change your mind to try harder
Will opened the auditorium door and let the glee club inside the room. Seeing the warblers standing on the stage, with their arms behind their backs. Sebastian walked away from his team and says. "well. If it isn't New Direction I heard about". Santana, with confusion asked. "who are these clones?".
Sebastian: We are the warblers. According to Mr. Schuester. You guys are our competitors
Mercedes scoff before saying. "so this is our competition? Just little boys in jackets". Kurt says. "the red really makes your jackets pop, though". A heavy set caucasion warbler with comb hair says. "really. I thought it makes us loo-". Sebastian held his arm up before saying. "trent. Shut up".
Matt: why are they here?
Will walked around the group and stood infront of them. "look guys. Each competition is gonna be tougher then the last one. But you all are slacking off with practice. With this rate, we won't be ready for regionals or nationals. So to get you motivated, i asked the warblers to do a number for you guys".
Sebastian walked forward and says. "actually. There's been a change of plan". Sebastian nodded to his left. And two warblers, standing backstage, holding a rope, let go. Making New Direction hear a noise above them, and they look up, seeing a canoe, hanging from the ceiling tipping over, dropping a large gush of red slushie, covering the New Direction, including Will. Emma stared in shock as the warblers started laughing. Santana shot a glare at the boys and yelled out. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!".
Kurt wiped his face with his hands before saying. "are you all insane! i just had a facial!". Quinn was brushing her hair, removing the slushie. "and i just got my hair done!". Will looks up at sebastian, and say. "why?".
Sebastian: you wanna know why? It is people like you who give glee a bad name. We work hard to get where we are today. And i'm not gonna let my guard down for a bunch of public students. You think you can just walked into our school and just assumed we can be friends. That. Is not how we do it. This is my second year and i'm already ahead for regionals. And then we get to nationals. And then we will win. Which makes me the first captain of the warblers to win nationals twice in a year. So since we found out about your little slushie tradition at your little public school. We figure we can do your little tradition to send a message. You're not good enough for nationals
Puck removed his jacket and says. "ok. Disqualified or not. This prick is going down". Quinn and kitty pulled puck back when he started walking forward
Brittany: i can't believe they slushie at that boy school
Will looks at brittany and says. "we don't". Blaine says. "we got a tip from your schoolmates". Sebastian looks back at his team and says. "let's go. Our work here as done". The warblers walked off of the stage and walked through the exit doors, leaving The glee club standing in a puddle of slushie
Music room:
Emma was sitting by the piano, using one of her tissues to wipe the slushie off of Will's face. "i can't believe that you never been slushied yourself". She said to Will
Kurt walked into the room, holding his stain jacket. "does anyone knows what this made of? cashmere. And now it's ruined". He dropped the jacket in the trashcan when he walked past it
Sugar is sitting on the bleachers, using a brush to brush her wig that is sitting on her lap, revealing her natural hair has gotten a lttle longer. "i can't get these icing out". Artie rolled by the bleachers and says "and i thought just a slushie cup was bad. But nope, a canoe filled with slushie takes the win".
Matt walked up toward Will and says. "Mr. Schuester, i know what your trying to do, but this blows". Will nodded as he stood up from the bench and walk away from emma. "this is what i was trying to tell you though. You can't expect to be ready by regionals. In a weird way. Those warblers got the point ahead".
Mercedes stood up from a barstool and says. "so your taking their side. What about us? we're your students". Finn walked toward mercedes and says. "don't even start there, jones. You started all this". Mercedes turned around to look at Finn. "how did i made those guys dump slushie at us".
Mike: in all fairness. We get slushie mutiple times a day
Kurt: i can vouch for that
Puck stood beside finn and says. "he's right, though. You wanted to save your precious voice because you think you are ready. And then our guys followed your lead". Finn says "and because of that. Rachel got strep throat".
Mercedes: weren't you one of the guys who didn't sing during practice?
Finn: maybe i was having a rough day. I don't know why i slacked off. But atleast i'm honest about it. Stop being a diva
Mercedes: oh shut up, finn... You know what, i don't need this
Mercedes grabbed her bag and walked out of the music room, making Will sigh as he look down and shook his head
Rachel's house:
Santana pulled up in the driveway, climb put of the driver seat after grabbing a white bag with a restaraunt logo on the center. Santana walked up toward the front door and knock a couple of times before taking a couple of steps back. A few seconds later, a door opened up, revealing shelby. "hey, santana". She said with a smile
Santana: hi. I just wanna check on rachel, if you don't mind
Shelby: oh no. Actually, i'm glad your here. I need to pick up some meds for rachel if she can go to school tomorrow. Watch over her until i get back
Santana: Don't worry, Ms. Corcoran. She's my baby too. In a different and unsexual way
Shelby giggled before walking out of the house and headed to her car. Santana walked in the house, and headed upstairs. She found rachel bedroom door, and opened it up. Seeing rachel, sitting up on her bed, typing on her laptop. Santana says. "estrella". Rachel squeal before hiding herself under the covers, making santana giggle as she walked into the room and says. "berry. It's me".
Rachel starts talking, but her voice being muffled by the covers and her sore throat. Santana laugh before saying. "berry, i can't understand you. You're gonna have to come out of there". Rachel peaked her head through the covers and says. "i look hideous for being sick". Santana pulled the coverd off. "Estrella. You look beautiful to me, everyday". Rachel slowly put her mask on. "seriously, still with the mask?".
Rachel: i don't want nobody getting sick
Santana shook her head before sitting on the edge of the bed. She says. "your mom is out getting your meds. So i'm stuck babysitting you, sicky". Rachel pulled her mask down and stick out her tongue at santana, making her laugh before lifting up the bag. "i got you some food from your favorite vegan restaraunt, i didn't know if you are hungry".
Rachel smiled behind her mask. "that's sweet, thanks. Sanny". Santana smiled again before taking the food out of the bag. Hands rachel a vegan burger. Rachel removed her mask and took a bite. She chewed for a bit before swallowing, and starts talking. "so how was glee rehearsal".
Santana: i honestly don't know how you put up with us. How do you handle being the captain?
Rachel: i just listen. You were temporary captain when i was in the hospital
Santana: even then i was over my head
Rachel looks at santana after taking a bite of her burger. "what happened?". Santana sigh as she stare at her meat burger before saying. "we met our competition for regionals. The warblers. An all boy a capella group. Mr. Schue brought them to the school to motivate us. But they end up slushing. All of us at once".
Rachel: how?
Santana: they got help from the inside
2 hours ago:
In the boys locker room, karofsky was taking his jersey out of his locker. His locker was forcefully shut by mike, who says. "we kno it was you".
Azimio walked up with sam, and says. "well if it isn't dancing boy". Puck pushed azimio by the shoulder, and says. "we know you helped the warblers to slushie us".
Finn and matt walked up from the other sidd of the locker hallway. David chuckled while shaking his head as he put on his jersey. "you guys get more girly by the day. Are you all upset that we ruined your hair. You like the canoe? it's by dad".
Puck says. "you said you hate glee, but you helped another glee just to humiliate us?". Azimio turned around to look at puck and says. "they don't go to this school. I ain't got no beef with them". Sam whispers. "it was a harmless prank".
Finn: your gonna knock this off now
David walked up toward finn and pushed him. "or what?". Azimio chuckled as he removed his towel from around his neck and throw it at puck face, making him growl before tackling azimio on the ground and started punching him in the face.
David punched finn in the face. Matt pulled finn away before tackling david, pushing him to the lockers. But david threw his knee in matt crotch, making him scream in pain. David punched matt in the face
Sam stood by the locker wall with a shock expression. "GUY'S STOP!". A whistle heard, making mike and sam turn their heads to see shannon running up, blowing through her whitle. Pulling david away from matt. She walk up and pulled puck and azimio up from the ground, yelling. "ENOUGH! ENOUGH!".
Back to the present:
Rachel has a shock expression before saying. "Oh my god! Are puck and matt ok?". Santana nodded before saying. "their fine. They got a few punches".
Rachel: well still. I can't believe they did that
Santana scoff. "your not surprised. They held their anger for years from those guys. And well, they couldn't hold it any longer". Rachel stares at santana for a minute before saying. "who else?".
Santana shook her head before saying. "mercedes. She just stormed out". Rachel makes a confused expression. "why?" she ask
Santana: i don't know. You know how she is
Rachel slowly nodded before taking a bite of her burger while looking down
Mercedes is walking through the school hallway while looking through her book before stopping at her locker, opening it up and put her book in her locker. Grabbed a notebook before closing her locker back, seeing rachel standing beside her, still wearing a mask, she wave. "hi".
Mercedes: seriously. You gotta stop hiding behind my locker door. And with that mask, your giving a serial killer vibe
Rachel: i am a little better today
Mercedes: a little. Your voice is still shriveled up
Rachel: i should be back to normal in a day or two. But i'm still contagious. That's the explanation for the mask. And the gloves
Mercedes lean on her locker before saying. "what do you want?". Rachel says. "i wanna talk about what happened yesterday". Mercedes makes a confused expression before saying. "you weren't here yesterday".
Rachel nodded while looking down, making mercedes sigh. "santana told you. Didn't she?". Rachel shrugged. Mercedes sigh as she turned her body, leaning her back on the lockers
Rachel: she's worried about you. Glee is worried about you
Mercedes turn her head to look at rachel. "they hate me". Rachel shake her head, and says. "that's not true". Mercedes started sending a glare at rachel, making her whined. "their was some comments on you". Mercedes nodded while looking away
Rachel says. "but it doesn't mean they don't like you. I still do". Mercedes looks back at rachel before looking down and started sniffing. Rachel slowly says. "are you crying?".
Mercedes looks back up at rachel and says. "i am so sorry for the way i treated you. Back when we first met. I met someone who sang better than me. I don't know if anyone told you this, but i cried when you were in the hospital, because i had so much guilt in me. I promised myself to change, but. But i am still the same person i was a year ago. And now because of me resting my voice. Your vocals got damage".
Rachel: this throat thing could've come from anything. I don't blame you
Mercedes: that's the problem, rach. You should
Rachel: Hey, i'm easy to forgive. Don't let this affect your chance for regionals
Mercedes looks down again before saying. "it's not just that. After the slushie attack. I snuck into dalton academy. And i saw them practicing. And. They're amazing". Rachel slowly nodded before saying. "so was vocal adrenaline, but we defeated them at sectionals. It's not how good they are. It's how hard we try to get to regionals".
Mercedes: how can we win after what i witnessed?
Rachel shrugged before saying. "we practice. Yes, we win at sectionals. But the competition gonna be harder. I mean, think about it. I looked it up, if we win regionals and head off to nationals. We're going against 50 top show choir champions around the U.S." Mercedes looks at rachel with a shock expression, making rachel nod her hesd again. "yeah. We need to bring our A game if we're gonna do this. We can't give up. But we also can't just wing in".
Mercedes slowly nodded. "i hear you". She said, making rachel smile. "good. Now I schedule a glee meeting after-school. I encourage you to be there". Rachel patted mercedes shoulder before walking away. Mercedes look at rachel before walking away
Music room:
Rachel was standing infront of the glee club, who were all sitting on the bleachers. And Will is standing beside the bleachers. Rachel says. "Ok. First, i would like to say. I am happy to be back again. Secondly, santana told me what happened with the warblers".
Quinn: they messed up my new hair
Kitty: puck was so mad. I had to calm him down so he doesn't flatten their tires
Quinn: great. Your the superhero in that story
Kitty looks at quinn until rachel starts talking. "Yeah, and i'm really sorry what happened. But, we cannot let that affect us in regionals. They just don't want to lose their streak. But we can win thi". Kurt says "how. That glee club been around for over 100 years. They have more experience. We're just not ready".
Rachel looks at Will, who nodded at her, making her take a deep breath before she continues talking. "guys. You all have more potential then you all think. We have something that the warblers don't. Finn dancing".
The glee club started laughing, including finn. He says. "yeah. I'm not the best dancer". Rachel nodded. "your dancing is rare, though. But our best dancers are matt, mike, brittany, kitty. And santana". Santana smiled. "you all were just cheerleaders and football players. You didn't know your talents until you joined. And now look at you guys. You already believed in yourselves. You just need to believe more".
Rachel: now we can't let the warblers get away with this. If we do, then they will think we're letting them get in our heads. And i know what we can do
After-school:
Out front of Mckinley high. Mercedes was standing in the middle of the parking lot. Looking through her phone. She look up to see rachel walking up, while dragging her bike. "everything is set. Now we just wait".
Mercedes look ahead, and says. "we don't have to wait to long. Here they are". Rachel turn her head and her eyes opened wide. "those are the warblers?". She said as the warblers were walking through the parking lot, heading toward the two girls
The group stopped infront of rachel and mercedes. Sebastian and blaine walked through the boys and crossed their arms. Mercedes says. "didn't think you guys showed up".
Sebastian: well the smell of a public school does make me nauseous. But i never ignore an invitation
Blaine: glad to see the slushies didn't didn't stained too much
Rachel: you guys are such. Jerks
The warblers started to chuckle. Sebastian chuckled himself for a second before talking. "your the goodie two shoes girl, huh. No wonder you weren't at the auditorium. You wouldn't handle what we did".
Rachel smirk behind her mask, and said. "you know i had the same trouble with another person like you. Only the difference is you show your true color. And this time we're ready". Sebastian says. "oh you think your good enough for regionals".
Mercedes: we are. But it doesn't hurt to improve ourselves
Sebastian patted blaine shoulder and pointed at mercedes. "heard that, anderson? that's code for your not good enough".
Rachel: yeah. They told me that too, but you never heard us sing. I think it's time you see who we are
Rachel snapped her fingers, and New Direction walked up toward rachel and mercedes, and formed a position. Making sebastian stare at the group with a surprised expression
Puck set down a boombox, and pressed a button, turning the music on. Santana lifted her head up and started singing a high note

Brittany was lifted up by matt and walked away, same with tina and mike. Quinn, santana, mercedes, and kitty spin around while walking to the left. Sugar sat down on artie lap, and he rolled himself and sugar to the right
All:

Will, emma, and sue were standing on the sidewalk, moving from the beat just when rachel walked up and stood beside Will
Puck and Finn ran past each other just when kurt walked up between his brother and puck, and starts singing, making blaine opened his eyes wide with shock

It's close to midnight
And something evil's lurking in the dark

You see a sight that almost stops your heart
Sugar and brittany were side walking toward kurt while the other glee members were dancing like zombies, making sebastian chuckled while turning his head toward the warblers

But terror takes the sound before you make it

Matt and mike ran behind puck's truck, pulled a sack and took out mannequin heads, and use them as bowling balls, letting them roll at the warblers, making trent screech and hid behind blaine, making his eye's roll
Mercedes:
heads will roll
Kurt:
You start to freeze
As horror looks you right between the eyes
You're paralyzed

New Direction grabbed their heads and started moving them from left to right

A couple of warblers were about to walk away, but a couple of cheerios blocked their way, and pushed them back toward the performance, making sue smiled and nodded of approval

Karofsky, azimio, and sam were walking by and notice the performance. David and azimio started laughing while pointing at New Direction

Quinn, santana, and brittany twirled around while walking by the warblers. The three turned around quickly, letting their hair hit three members of the warblers face before walking back to the group

Sam smiled while watching the performance and started nodding to the beat. He turn his head and notice david and azimio were watching him with confusion
Will tapped rachel shoulder, gaining her attention. He pointed at the group, making rachel smile before taking her mask off and ran into the performance and started speaking in her deep voice

Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Santana stopped dancing to look at rachel with a shock expression until artie rolled up beside her and tapped her shoulder, and santana continue dancing
Rachel:
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'all's neighborhood

The group lifted their arms up in the air, letting them shake as the music faded up, but the music kick back up. And the glee club started dancing again. Putting their hands on their own heads, and started moving them around

The glee club started walking toward the warblers, making the rival glee club walk backwards until they felt the side of a bus

Sugar lifted up her clenched fist, and opened it up, revealing a pile of glitter. Sugar blew the glitter at sebastian face, making the glee club laugh and clapped together as they walk away from the warblers. Rachel says. "see you in regionals". Before following the group
Sebastian wiped the glitter off of his face before saying. "guys. We can't let these posers win. We gotta prepare. Let's go. The stench of a public school is making me sick". Sebastian walked away with the warblers following him. Blaine stare at New Direction for a second before following the rest of his team
The New Direction ran into the school and headed in the music room while cheering together. Tina says "that was awesome!". Before giving mike a kiss
Puck: those guys didn't know what happened infront of them
Sugar sat down on the bleachers and says. "if this happens like every week. I wanna stay in this club forever". Rachel laugh while messaging her neck until santana walked up toward her and says. "rachel. I don't know why, but that voice strangely turned me on". Rachel giggled until santana lean in to give rachel a kiss, but she pulled her mask up. "i can affect you".
Santana sigh before ripping the mask off of rachel face before saying. "i truly don't care". Santana lean down and gave rachel a passionate kiss
Will walked into the room and says. "guys. I am proud of you for standing up for yourselves. Even though you might made full enemies to that accapella glee club". Mercedes says. "hey, we took enough crap from jesse and vocal adrenaline. We weren't gonna let that happen again". Rachel, with santana arm wrapped around her shoulder. Smiled at mercedes
Will: well i hope you al understand that you can't slack off until regionals. The competition get's harder every time we move up. This is our chance to get to nationals. If we win both competition, it'll be the greatest year for New Direction
The glee club smiled at each other before looking back at Will, who says. "now. We lost some valuable time for rehearsal, let's get started."
Auditorium:
Rachel was standing in the middle of the stage. The music started blaring out of the stage speakers. She slowly move from the beat while Will was watching her from backstage, with a smile on his face
Rachel held up a microphone to her mouth, and started singing
